Loved the location. It’s not located in town area but it’s a very short walk. Staff was A plus. Front desk girls during that day were amazing. Housekeeping was great. My room was downstairs so I was not able to work remote due to bad WiFi connection. The room was near the kitchen and laundry so every morning I would get woken up by loud chatter. I would definitely stay there again.

Given the 4-star praise online, I was highly disappointed with our stay.
The Lowlights
Poor Service: The property has no elevator. When we arrived, the front desk agent refused to help us carry our heavy luggage up a flight of steep stairs.
Broken Lock & Attitude: Our first room ($250/night) wouldn't lock. When I reported the broken lock, the employee seemed visibly annoyed.
Overpriced: The initial room felt like a cheap motel, not a $250 room. While they eventually upgraded us to a better room with a nice view, it was incredibly noisy at night.
Terrible Breakfast: We had an early flight, and the packed breakfast they gave us was pathetic—a granola bar, a bruised apple, a juice box, and a soggy tortilla with cheap meat.
The Verdict
The hotel was mediocre at best. I wasn't expecting luxury, just the basics, but the poor service and high price tag made it a frustrating experience.

The Junior suite design elements were beautiful.
If you like relaxing in a bath, the huge river rock tub is such a treat. Pair the soak with the most comfy bed and you are off to lala land.
The digital bedside controls for the indoor air and lights makes it so you never have to leave the bed to adjust a thing.
The private patio and ocean views are huge.
Breakfast is delicious too!
Don’t pass up an opportunity to stay here if you want a relaxing stay in Mykonos.

I stayed for 3 nights at this hotel and have a mixed opinion about this hotel.

PROS:
•Good location! It’s a 10-minute walk to town, which was the main reason I chose this hotel, since I didn’t want to rent a car or depend on buses.
•Excellent breakfast included.
•Free shuttle service from the ferry port or airport (and back). This is very convenient, considering the standard taxi rate in Mykonos is €40.
•Due to a ferry strike, we had to change our stay, and Chrysa kindly rebooked our dates at no extra charge and followed up to make sure everything went smoothly. Mayra at reception was very nice as well with great recommendations!
•Nice sea views (especially from the restaurant and lobby).

CONS:
•The shuttle driver seemed upset and even came across as rude when picking us up, which gave a poor first impression.
•Our room smelled like sewage when we arrived.
•Some furniture feels old and worn. Even the wallpaper behind the bed was poorly applied, making the room look outdated.
•The staff, in general, was not as warm and friendly as in other parts of Greece I’ve visited.
•Rooms are not soundproof- you can hear everything from neighboring rooms and the restaurant.

Overall: I guess the price was ok for what I got but I would definitely look for a different option if I return to Mykonos.

We enjoyed a 3 nights stay here for a friends 40th. From the moment we were collected from the airport via the free shuttle to our arrival and throughout our stay, the service and warmth from all staff was exceptional. Nothing was ever too much trouble and were a great help ordering transfers for us. Special shout out to Mira on front desk - she was just the sweetest! The rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The hotel offers amazing views since it’s located at the top of a hill. It’s about a 10-minute walk down to the city center, but the walk back uphill may not be for everyone.
Fortunately, there’s also a shuttle bus to the center.

I especially enjoyed the huge terrace of our room, it had a great vibe and made our stay unforgettable with the views day and night. Also amazing sunset views.

A fabulous stay! Upon arrival, we were greeted by two ladies on reception with a welcoming smile, after checking in, one lady showed us to our room and the vehicle driver delivered our cases. Throughout the week, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, they were all absolutely fantastic, from housekeeping to reception, breakfast staff and bar staff, everyone wanted to help. During our stay we needed a few extra things, all were delivered within minutes of requesting them. There is also a complimentary bottle of water each day in the room, along with a payable Mini Bar Fridge. The breakfast and bar offerings were great, for breakfast you can order whatever you like from the Eggs Breakfast Menu, brought to your table with drinks. The young lady and gentleman at breakfast worked tirelessly to ensure you enjoyed breakfast. Additionally, there is a fabulous self service selection. The Bar/Pool Menu was also great. The fixtures and fitting in the hotel are very pleasing with good quality comfortable places to sit with the best views!
The hotel is situated up hill, around 10-15
minutes from Mykonos Town area, we found there were two routes to use. We had a sea view room on the first floor and the views were simply stunning! We would 100% return to this hotel, it is well up there with the best we've stayed in! Thank you to all at Hermes Mykonos!

Honestly, you have to be careful when you read these reviews. I searched hotels for days, but kept coming back to this one for some reason. I was a little hesitant because of the complaints of the small room size and the long walk from town.
The room was beyond spacious, the view was amazing and the staff literally were super kind. The complimentary breakfast was enjoyable and I was very impressed with Nic. He was so courteous and attentive. Overall my stay was fantastic and I would highly recommend.

My daughter and I had an amazing stay, we stayed 2 nights, all the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, comfortable and clean. You get the sunset from ur balcony. Hotel is 10 mins walk to town, if you are observant like my daughter it can be less. Definitely recommend for ur stay , I will absolutely stay here again. The pick up and drop off was great and was easy to organise - the hotel messages you in advance on Expedia to request landing times. Your drop off at the airport can be easily organised at the reception desk on arrival. Excellent breakfast - both continental and hot breakfast available, several options to choose from so no risk of repeating meals! The pool was lovely but given limited sunbeds you need to get there early! The hotel is located at the top of the hill but not too far from the main town (15 min walk) although its a lot of walking up and down hill and on uneven ground so worth noting if you have mobility issues. Would definitely stay here again.

Cleanliness: The hotel was impeccably clean, from the lobby to my room. It was clear that hygiene is a top priority.

Location: Perfectly situated near major attractions, it made sightseeing a breeze. Plus, there were great dining options within walking distance.

Service: The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. They went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable, offering helpful recommendations and quick responses to requests.

Amenities: The hotel offers a fantastic pool and the free airport shuttle was a PLUS!! I particularly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which had a wide variety of delicious options.

Comfort: My room was spacious and cozy, with a comfortable bed and a lovely view. I appreciated the thoughtful touches, like extra pillows and a coffee maker.

Value for Money: Considering the quality of service and facilities, the price was very reasonable. I felt I got great value for my stay.

Overall, I highly recommend Hermes Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Fantastic hotel. Very large room with ocean view. Spotless clean. Included a fabulous breakfast with cook to order menu. Great pool and bar area. Upon checkin received a map and a lot of information on how to get around the island, restaurants etc. this hotel is on the hillside with expansive views. It is a fairly short walk in town —- however the path is not great unless you are fairly agile. A more pleasant and less stressful option is to take a taxi for 7-10 euros. Staff is exceptional. You can’t go wrong with this hotel.
