Lovely hotel in the heart of Juffair area. Overall, very pleased with the location, service, check in and check out experience, room service and restaurant facilities. The room was perfectly clean, spacious and comfortable. I’d happily go back to this hotel and recommend it for those who want a hotel that is close to most sights and nightlife. Great value for money

Room was super clean and bed comfy. Staff was great. I would of given it 5 stars but there lounges were in full swing until 2 am with the walls vibrating from the music. If you want action, this hotel has it. If you want a quiet night curled up with a book - not so much.

The room was nice and clean. The initial man at reception was incredibly nice and helpful (he wore a suit and glasses, I didn't get his name). The room service and cleaning staff were nice as well.
It seemed convenient to a mall within walking distance.
Dislikes
The one lady I interacted with at reception was unfriendly and kept interrupting me while I asked her questions. I found her as unfriendly while I was checking out my room this morning.
Another man at reception waited on me and he was as unfriendly as the lady.
I wasn't that impressed with the room service menu. They didn't have some of the foods I ordered.
It would have been nice to know there were two clubs in the hotel that allow smoking before I booked the room. I could smell the smoke in my room.

I had another enjoyable stay for the fifth time. I never have any issues when I stay at The Arch. Room service is on time and they are always cleaning. I recently spent 4 days there and every morning I go to the gym, they are on the 4th-floor cleaning at 7am.

The staff I had dealings with were great, polite, friendly and helpful. Rasel was the house keeper of my initial room, level 6 which is a smoker's area and nothing was too much trouble for him. As a non smoker, Rasel advised me to speak to front desk where upon I was moved to level 11. Level 6 can be noisy with music from the night clubs. Level 11 much quieter, rooms are large with comfy beds and good facilities. All the staff were excellent with good facilities. I would stay again if I returned to Bahrain.

Staying at this awful hotel felt like PURGATORY. There was constant loud noise from inside and outside the hotel. This made it impossible to get any sleep.

I had requested a quiet room and as soon as I entered the room I could hear the loud rumbling of machinery. My room was overlooking a roof containing more than a dozen air conditioning units creating a constant loud mechanical noise. I asked at reception to move room, but was told this was their quietest room.

From 9pm until after 10am everyday there we’re extremely loud noises from a night club in the hotel. It was impossible to listen to anything in my room (even with noise cancelling headphones) or sleep (with expensive silicon ear plugs). The bass and loud clanging noises reverberated throughout the hotel constantly. My room was at the end of the hotel and 6 floors above the nightclub so I can’t imagine how much worse the noise was in the rest of the rooms.

Preventing people to sleep through playing loud music is a recognised form of torture and after suffering at this hotel for 6 nights I understand why it is so effective. It totally ruined my trip to Bahrain.

It is very noticeable that there is no mention of this nightclub in the Expedia listing, but there is a blatant lie about room soundproofing.

There are other minor issues with the hotel such as poor room design and a poor breakfast, but it is the constant noise makes this hotel uninhabitable in my opinion.

Don't get mistaken by its Stars

Trip was good stay was not good, you need to understand this hotel is not for business people, this is for people who wants get away from home, enjoy drink and woman, take them back to the room and give good reviews. There are 5 clubs and they are open till 5 am which means if you have a meeting in the morning there is no chance you will get a good night sleep.

Only gave me one towel. The bathroom door has a closer on it and you have to prop it with something. Remove the door closers. When I take a shower I like to leave the door open so the mirror does not fog. Nice clubs in the hotel.

After 4 years of visiting Juffair and seeing The Arch I thought I'd try it out. NEVER AGAIN!! Very loud music until 2am meant I did not sleep. Of the 24 TV channels only 1 was an English speaking channel, not even a news channel to watch. Very disappointing.

I couldn’t sleep because of the loud music - when I went downstairs .. there were drunk peoples in crowds everywhere .. it was disgusting … Cars in the streets crowding the area .. it took me ten minutes to go down the street .. I’ll never stay there again !!

I didn't appreciate being asked if i had a room in the hotel after leaving one of there bars. In addition being called by the front desk and asking if I have a visitor in my room. Are they running the Gestapo or something? I stay at this hotel exclusively ever time i go to Bahrain and this really disappointed me!

It was clean and had a variety of dining options and places to relax and have a drink also close proximity to shopping.
The service was lacking the spa was very rude and could only offer one type of massage even though they offered many styles it was dirty and very disorganized.
The service in the Fizz the staff was friendly enough but orders were very slow in getting to you table it took 30 minuets to get a cappuccino

The shower was very bad ! When your in the shower all of sudden very hot water comes and then cold. I complain many times to GM n at f not desk but was never fixed. It is dangerous I and they should sort it out ASAP before some one burns badly.

The hotel and rooms are nice and the staff was very efficient. The area of the hotel is more residential but a quick drive to where there are more restaurants, etc. The bed and pillows in our room were not all that comfortable and the door to the bathroom is designed to automatically close at all times so if you want to keep that door open you have to wedge something heavy in front of it, like a fill suitcase. The bigger issue was during the night. Even though we were on the 9th floor and the disco was on the third floor, we heard bass dance beats all night until about 4am. The Arch is a good value, but not sure I would stay again.

Not what I expected.

I understand that the hotel caters to about 25% tourist. But there were no provisions for helping tourists find their way around. The room initially was not up to my standards but housekeeping was able to resolve it. The breakfast was well presented and the servers were quite helpful. The art in the hotel is very nice and unique

The hotel is recently renovated and quite spacious. The hotel rooms are lovely. They have a comfortable bed, nice sitting area and an office area to work at. The bathroom has a huge shower with great water pressure.

The hotel staff is incredibly helpful. There was a small problem with the original room I was given and the staff went above and beyond to solve the problem. They also arranged a free transfer to the airport and a late check out.

The WiFi I the hotel was inoperable all day Friday! It didn’t get back online until about 1:00 a.m. Saturday morning. This was inexcusable. You have occupants staying there that need to conduct business through the Internet. Maybe to take care of bills online or whatever task that may need to be accomplished. This should never happen at a hotel of this caliber. Really disappointed ☹️!

This was by far the worst hotel experience. My plan was to stay for one night and informed the staff, day of check in, that I will be arriving late, around 9 PM. He said that was fine.
We finally get to the hotel, at 11:15 PM, two hours later than 9, and the staff informed me that they cancelled the reservation. 1- without calling me to inform me. 2- I informed them I will be late, and they resisted saying It was not 9 PM. 3- it was 11 PM in a rough neighborhood, and they were gladly going to throw us on the streets.
My hotel room was booked for two people only, but while I was checking in, there were actually two more girls with me. They said even if they give us a room (They said they were not available rooms, now suddenly there is), we can't get in because we were four girls instead of two. I was trying to tell him that the girls were just going to get ready with us in our hotel room and we will leave, but he was rudely saying that it was not allowed and guests can't come up. He was being very aggressive, his name was Jeetender.
After a while, he said its in the policy that we pay extra 54 USD dollars to accommodate them getting ready in our booked room.
I never ever paid for any guests to visit me any hotel room ever, but I finally gave in because it was starting to get to midnight, and we had no other booking, and he was being rude and hostile, and I was scared he wouldn't even offer a room. Never in my life was treated this way.

When I arrived I was informed the pool was not open at all. this was a major consideration when I booked my stay. I was kept up EVERY NIGHT by the music venue in the building and there were prostitutes coming and going everynight. One night I could hear everything from the room next door.
