A terrible odor welcomes you in the lobby as soon as you enter. Check-in staff was friendly and luckily no bad odor in the room. Room is old but ok, clean.
The worse of the hotel is the swimming pool area. Full of local customers from neighboring countries not caring about anything, jumping in the pool in underwear for some, fully dressed for others, women with street attires. 0 hygiene to the point that the staff has to put so much choline in th look to kill the bacteria that your eyes will dissolve if you dare opening them under water…. Friendly staff not knowing how to handle this uncaring crowd, always scared of saying anything and losing their job….
I had to shorten my say and of course asked if it was possible to be refunded for the days I won’t spend. The front desk was so proud to tell me that whatever the circumstances they have a strict 0 refund policy…. The. Tried to be polite and said he will ask his manager, of course never asked and never came back to me….
I conclusion cheap hotel in the area, for sure, ok if you have 0 expectations and are sure not to modify your dates, otherwise pay a bit more and go to better places….

What stood out most during my stay at the Elite Crystal Hotel was the outdated furniture, which appears not to have been refurbished in over 15 years. Regarding the curtains or drapes, when I slid back the first set, I found the second set, which is white and designed to block sunlight, covered in spider webs. The second set of drapes, meant to limit light and provide some privacy at night, were dusty and seemed not to have been cleaned for months.

While renting this suite offers a sense of comfort for guests, having to call downstairs for basic utilities and dishes is unacceptable. I understand that they mentioned these items would be provided upon request, but such essentials should already be present in the suite.

On a positive note, the employees and staff were very friendly, helpful, and attentive. They promptly answered my questions and phone calls, creating an overall positive environment for guests. However, the overall quality of the facility is lacking.

More like a night club with rooms.

I have stayed 100's of days at this hotel over the last few years. Now the Elite Crystal is not really so much of a hotel but more of a night club where you can get a cheap room. I stayed on the 5th floor and the music from the club has the bass up so high that my walls and windows shake. I sleep pretty hard but there is NO WAY you will sleep thru this pounding bass music. They say it closes at 2am but several nights it went well past 3am. The people are great but they charge for ice and won't let you but it on the room bill. I sure miss my old Elite Crystal Hotel.

Another great place to stay in Juffair, check in was smooth and efficient with a very nice receptionist.
I had booked an Executive Suite but was upgraded to the Royal Suite, very nice surprised.
Room was great, lotes of space well equipped and having a washing machine is great for the longer stays.
Unfortunately the pool is currently undergoing renovation, gym looked good.
I didn't book a breakfast this time as having the kitchenette ment i sorted myself out.
I would happily stay here again and recommend.

The staff was the only redeeming quality about this hotel. The first room I was put in was disgusting as were the multiple other rooms I was shown. The biggest issue was the curtains; they are stained with what looks like blood, though because the stain was in more than one room it is more likely something like mold. We ended up checking out that night and going to a different hotel. It is not worth the price you pay to stay here. I recommend going to another hotel, the Amwaj area has multiple hotels around the same price point that are significantly nicer.

It’s sad the owner has changed recently and this property is filled with mostly prostitutes. I was even solicited and chased down. It used to be a clean place but now it’s dirty. PLEASE DON’T TAKE FAMILIES HERE!!!!

I did like the gym - it was a good size and probably the only cleanly part about the hotel. The hotel does not have a very big pool area and did not have many places to lay out. My room was barely cleaned and staff did not refill any of the waters/shampoos/soaps after cleaning my room.

The place is great especially for larger groups. The bar at Waiki Kitchen is great. The problem is noise on that side of the building if you want to go to sleep before ten. Breakfast is ok and the dinner at Waiki was amazing food for a non expecting place. The room sizes are big as they are huge suites.

It was a nice 1 bedroom suite on the 8th floor. Clean and big, but unfortunately we had our room on the pool side. It was very noisy because of the music from the pool bar; starting afternoon until sunrise. I complained after the first night and Renich offered me a late checkout at 5:00 pm on the second day. He was nice, but the problem was not solved. I do not think I will come back unless I get a room on the other side of the hotel. I tried three meals and they were OK. The twoles were very old and they should be changed.

Great size room with kitchen and seating area. Clean and comfortable. The only thing my friend and I didn't like were the pillows. They were much too thick and put your head and neck at a terrible angle. They have a pillow menu, but the replacements that housekeeping brought were just as bad. Other than that the rooms were great. The gym was fantastic for a hotel gym. The pool was also nice and clean. Really nice stay.

Awesome Hotel!!!

This is my second time staying at Elite Crystal. The location is perfect, the facilities are better than most. All rooms come with a kitchen, living room, separate bedroom, and depending on the room you get, you can have a bathroom inside the bedroom, or else it's right next to the bedroom in a separate room. Very spacious, and classy. There's Klub 360 downstairs of the hotel if you want to experience a nightlife. The food at the hotel restaurant is great as well. The gym was well put together, I enjoyed my workouts during my stay. Overall this hotel is a steal for the price. I would also like to mention that the manager \"Francis\" is absolutely AWESOME, and will do everything in his power to make your stay memorable. I will definitely be staying at Elite Crystal on my next trip to Bahrain.

First of all it's not family friendly as it's written.There is night club on the first floor, and the noise all over the place. There is car racing around the hotel at 2 am to around 4 am, and the time changes every night. Even if I go solo I will not go to this hotel again.

I was put in a room o relooking pool. They had a pool party which was very loud and then kept play loud music until 11 at least. I also had no access to the pool because of the weekly party. People next door were having a party and smoking on the nonsmoking floor. I told the front desk and the smoke continued. I woke up the next morning to a smoke filled room from the room next door.

This is a small gym but much better than most hotels. There is a mix of cardio and weights in a clean gym. Breakfast is great. Restaurants are a 10 to 15 minute walk away. There is a bigger refrigerator in the room as well as a microwave to heat up leftovers if you stay at Elite Crystal for a few days.

Surprised by the standards

Everything was wonderful from check-in to check-out.
•It was our first time and we got an upgrade upon check-in
•The room was big with a separate lounging area from the bedroom, kitchen, huge shower, even 2 bathrooms.
•All staff were so professional and friendly
•THE BREAKFAST- omg I cannot say more good things about it. I never found a buffet with such diverse options. It had Arabic and western foods. I loved that it was different the two times we had it as well. Just wish they had pork! ;)
•Good location in respect to going to touristy places plus the airport
•Restaurant/lounge/club to drink!

The only disappointments:
•I love hotel beds, even crappy motels...but this is the first time I hated it. The pillows here were legitimately uncomfortable and both myself and my bf woke up with stiff necks and did not rest well. Maybe we could have asked to see if they had softer ones available but I didn't want to make a big deal.
•The location is great but it's not on a main street where you can easily walk out and catch a taxi. You have to call one to the hotel in which case there is an extra charge for taxis picking up from hotels
•Don't expect a view as it's surrounded by other hotels/dirt lots ready to be made into more buildings.
•I chose this hotel because they said they have a jacuzzi and temperature-controlled pool (we went in Feb). Well that was a lie. The beautiful pool with an awesome swim-up bar was cold and unusable and the jacuzzi wasn't open yet.

I'd come again!!

was good enough, but would not stay again. dodgy neighbourhood, hotel has a night club which is noisy and attracts certain professions. woke me up at 730 with drilling work inside the hotel. super friendly staff, very helpful and nothing is too much for them. got a late checkout, and could even use their facilities after checking out.

Great Hotel and great amenities however, their windows need to be cleaned more frequently than scheduled. Inside cleaning this was not an issue the outside cleanliness is an issue as far as viewing is concerned.

As a major Hotel chain you would think they'd have some type of guest earning points frequency visit program.
