The staff were courteous and helpful.

The hotel was next to a Bollywood disco that played very loud music until 2.30am. We needed to move rooms as the 5th floor was not high enough! They moved us to the 6th floor but we could still hear and feel the music.

We were told breakfast was in our room with options of American, Arabic, continental and Indian. The food was nice but they chose what it contained. There is a breakfast room but it is small and possibly for preferential guests.

The roof terrace was closed and only opened at 8am which spoiled my morning yoga.

Our first room was tired looking and didn’t have many electric sockets near the bed.

It was great to see a kettle.

I would like to give more stars as the staff were lovely and helpful but the disco next door really disrupted our sleep!

The carpets looked like they'd never seen a vacuum cleaner and the rooms were dark and shabby. Despite the room being booked for a couple, we only had one bath towel between us.

I'm afraid it's yet another hotel in Bahrain I will not be revisiting.

Also, there is a huge fish in a tank that is get too small for it in the reception area. It's the epitome of cruelty and I can't believe they haven't been reported for it.

The Hotel is really outdated and needs major renovations. The floor is the stand up shower is mixed with mould and stains. Very smelly and carpet is old. I had to air room. Be CAREFUL the hotel has a night club that plays music from 930pm to 230 am every single day and you will not be able to sleep as it is very loud and your room shakes. I was on 4th floor and still extremely loud.
The hotel location is not convenient.

The rooms are outdated. The bedroom floor was warped from water damage. The POOL was not working, most of the guest in my party used the pool at Elite Crystal. The TV's in the room are too small for viewing from a great distance in the room. I received limited upkeep of the room...no water and no iron. I had to request my room to to be cleaned and for fresh linen and towels.

If you only wanted to stay a night or two, for the price, this would be fine. However, keep in mind that there is a club on the first floor with music that is heard in the upper floors until 2:30 am on a Wed night.

It's not the most updated or cleanest room but, again, perfect for a place to keep your luggage and sleeping.

The free breakfast at the restaurant next door was good a nice welcome.

I like the price! Also there are restaurants, spas, stores and ATMs in walking distance. The club (Wranglers) was connected to the hotel. Security atbthe club was good also. The hotel staff was very professional and friendly.
The hotel needs a remodel. Horrible TV and channels, old furniture, old bathrooms and old smell. The best thing about the room was Big mattress(not high quality) with good pillows👍👍. But at the end of the day.... you get what you pay for. For that price I'd stay again for 3 days max!

Bad Service and Room😡

This stay was not a pleasant one from the start. Front Desk Clerk tried to put me in a room right over top of the club again. Last time he tried putting me in the same room. That time no lights were on that floor. I had to go to my room with my cell phone light. So after i came back downstairs to argue about this room, they decided to upgrade me to another room. The upgraded room was not in good shape. I stayed there 1 night and ask to be moved in the morning. Now im in my 3rd room, and the ac is not working well. I asked 3 times to get it fixed to no prevail and also there was no hot water. I just decided to deal with it because i refused to move again. Usually a manager named Sarah is very helpful and makes sure everything is good but when she is not there are usually issues. Also i did want to compliment the new manager there because he was helpful and tried to resolve my issues. Location of hotel is great but the service and rooms are going down.

My check in was bad. The desk person that night put me on a floor where no one stayed. The lights on the floor were off and i actuallyhad to use my phone light to sse down the hall. I was the only one on the floor and he put me on top of club so music was loud . I went back and complained then he switched me to a new floor. I stayed at this hotel everytime but beginning of my stay this time was horrible.

The Juffair Grand is a fine hotel. However, I do want to warn any guest to the area that many of the taxi drivers in the vicinity cannot be trusted, even when you get the hotel to help you get a taxi. I did just this on Wednesday, November 30. The first taxi driver the hotel got for me asked me for twice the standard fare to my destination. I walked away from him. The second driver took me to the wrong destination. When I clarified my destination, he again started going in the wrong direction! At this point, I was getting very upset. In addition, he spent the whole ride on his phone, not watching the road, and we almost got into an accident. I want to stay at the Juffair Grand again, but special arrangements will need to be made when I get a taxi!

I travel to Bahrain from KSA about once a month, and the Juffair Grand is my preferred hotel. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are very large, the beds are comfortable, and the staff offer exceptional service.
The rooms have plenty of closet space and offer a safe for your valuables.
The hotel is conveniently located within a short Uber ride or walking distance to many attractions and restaurants, and there is safe parking available on site, that is staffed 24/7.

If you are a westerner, bring 3 prong adapters for your electrical equipment. There is one power strip in the room located next to the desk that accepts US style plugs, but the rest of the plugs in the room are standard 3 prong, 220V receptacles.

Upon completion of check-in, I was aggressively grabbed by a prostitute that was allowed to linger around the hotel. We let that go, but the hotel should not let the prostitutes hang out inside the confines of the hotel. The female hotel staff, particularly one woman, was unbelievably rude, I am unsure if they think they are above the people paying her salary, but that should not be the case. My room, on the 7th floor shook all night from the club. And to place a bit of icing on the cake (pun intended), I found a used condom underneath my bed and complained to staff about it and nothing was done about it (room 714). Do not stay here unless you want to be harassed by prostitutes and stay in filthy, unkempt rooms.

Had a good stay, and would recommend the place to a solo traveler. In the evening the nightlife is happening in/all around the hotel so good if that’s part of your plans. Close to the navel base and American alley(street with a lot of American restaurants).

The TV wasn’t working many times because the cable was not good. I called the room service many times and they were lying to me about the time (the guy is coming now) then I waited for him 30 mins not to mention that I called them during that time 3 times and they said the same thing again (the guy is coming now) (he’s on his way now) I asked one of the receptionist to do something about that or give me a discount on my reservation. Funny that she said the tv is not on the contract. “The tv is a luxury”. The tv is a luxury in a 4 stars hotel that was the most ridiculous thing that I’ve ever heard. After suffering from that problem more than 6 times they decided to change the room.

The gym place was very small and the air conditioning was very cold and that is not healthy at all.

It is good to have different breakfast choices from time to time.

The service to pick up or drop off to the airport was in the contract but no one called or help to have that service or even mentioned it. So I went from the airport to hotel and from hotel to the airport by using Uber myself.

I was disappointed in general.

I arrived on a late flight. When I got to reception it was a struggle to hear myself think due to the nightclub music which is directly connected to the hotel. I was also surprised to see so many \"working ladies\" within the reception area. Clearly the hotel name sets a level of expectation to which I was rather disappointed with in the end. When I got to my room it was stinking of smoke, the whole facility was stinking of smoke though. I don't smoke, never have, although I felt like I got through a pack of 20 that night. Room service was ok and the food was ok. I struggled to get to sleep due to the nightclubs bass. I could make out each song quite easily even on the 4th floor. Instead of counting sheep to get to sleep, I was singing the lyrics to the songs in my head, which really does prevent you from drifting off. I won't be back.

I was on a business trip and this made things very inconvenient!

When I brought this to the staff they said it only broke on the same day and they are getting it fixed. But that was a lie, as I later found out hotel guests had not WiFi for 6 days before that.

Blatantly lying to my face is what earns them this poor review in addition to not having the basic basic facility of internet in today’s date is not acceptable for any hotel let alone a 4 star.

On top of this, after I woke up next morning my keyhole in the room went missing! I have pictures! This raises serious privacy issues of the Proeprty.

This review isn’t even considering on how inappropriately loud the music on the ground floor hotel bars were that it kept me awake all night on the 6 th floor.

The hotel pictures didnt match what the hotel offered. The rooms were not up to date. The carpet in the Superior Rooms were full of stains and the smell in the room was not grand. The internet was a constant nightmare and it went on for hours at a time. Too many calls to the front desk and no response regarding the internet. Complaints to the front desk were handled very slowly.

Internet Service was Extremely Poor...out of a two day stay, the service worked approximately 6-7 hours. Continued to call front desk and always the same answer, “IT technician is working on it.”

Receptionist should have informed me prior to checking in that there were having issues with the service...even after checking in when I called about not having service, and requested another room, it wasn’t until two hours later when it started working.
The service lasted until the next morning and then was out the remainder of my stay!!!!

The room was large and clean. However, we were on the fourth floor and we could easily hear the the DJ from the club below late into the night. After the music finally stopped, the guests in the neighboring room did not. It was a very noisy night. Potential guests should be aware that Juffair is a community that is known for clubs, spas and adult activity. I would not recommend this neighborhood for families and will not be staying there again due to the noise and atmosphere.

i was stayed with family for three nights.Room gave us near bar and whole night till 3 clock am fully sound and disturbance.We informed reception first day.They promised room will be shifted another floor.But they never shifted and informed us.It was terrible experience with this hotel.I strongly suggest this hotel dos not suitable for families
