The location of the hotel is great. I think the hotel needs a bit tlc , somebody who cares. Also as I booked 2 doubles with twin beds, I expect twin beds and not just a tiny sofa bed. Unexceptionable!

The hotel was clean and the room was good. Though service levels were not upto the mark and was not Marriott standard.

The breakfast options were good. If you looking for dinner, then The restaurant menu for dinner was very limited, a bit disappointing to be honest.

If you used to courtyard Marriott and have travelled globally, then this one would be at the lower end of your experience.

Convient rest stop between destinations.

Convenient place to spend a night between trip destinations. The mattress wasn't split in the middle which added comfort for my wife and I. The bar was open late. Parking was convenient and ample.

Comfortable stay

Heat wave,no a/c. Hotel is about 5km from centre. Unfortunately the short road was shut so long detour. Good shopping centre very close by . Room was small but comfortable if a little warm at night, very clean,staff helpful.Quiet.
Bar has about 3 outside tables which filled up quickly. Parking 4 euros a night. Easy to find. Schwerin well worth a visit, great castle and historic centre, beach area on lake.

Great time during COVID time

implementing measures COVID free is not easy but at NH Schwerin are doing well, we especially enjoyed the buffet breakfast. It wasn't a \"normal\" buffet, there were already packed single portion of every sort of food so you could pick up repeatedly what you prefer without getting in touch with other portions. Even the staff was well prepared and always wearing masks

Good for an overnight stay! Wouldnt book for days

Staff was super friendly and accommodating after our late arrival. Very on top of COVID percussions too which is nice. Hotel has definitely seen better days but was a good place to rest after a long day of travel. The main thing I just couldn’t understand is why they’re charging for parking when the hotel is pretty much only accessible by car and has a lot attached.

Hotel has all you need. City a bus/car ride away.

Checkin ok. Parking good (+$). Room with the 'lot' and now with (much needed) bigger TV screen. Bathroom with bathtub. Shopping centre 5 min. away. Easy bus connection to city center.

Average and generic motel.

Hotel room 248 wasn't clean. Walls and ceiling had residue of dead mosquitoes, and cobwebs. It was disgusting. This room is by a creek, so I assume it's buggy in spring and summer, and lack of air-conditioning in this standard room must call for open windows and lots of flies, apparently. Wifi connection was free but slow. This motel needs updating.

Just ok

The Hotel is far away from Schwerin’s Center, so if you do not have a car it is quite complicated to move around. There is a lot of (free) parking in front of the hotel. At least there is a big Shopping Center (and a McDonalds) on the other side of the 4-lane-through route, safely to be reached afoot. There are Restaurants, bakeries and takeaways for breakfast, lunch and dinner because the Center is open from 8am to 8pm. The receptionists seem to be more interested in themselves than in guests. It was quite hard to get some Information from them. There are no Coffee/Tea maker in the rooms as well in the Lobby, but there is a self-service coffee machine in the Conference Center behind the Lobby: You can get a fresh brewed coffee there even if you are not a conference member, but you have to pay 2€ for each cup - just throw the money in the provided bowl. A drawback of the Conference Center: Almost at any time you have to push through conference members standing heavily smoking in large groups around the Hotel entrance - the Hotel by itself is strictly Non-Smoking.
The rooms: Our room was adequately large with enough space for unpack and for work, only electrical outlets are hard to find and to reach. The marble tiled bath room was adequately big as well and had good lighting but signs of wear were also not to miss: The toilet cover (cheap plastic) was loose and the shower curtain (no curved shower rod) needs to be replaced. The (double) bed was ok, the pillows to soft. There was a Minibar and a small flat screen TV set with some foreign (news) channels.

Quick trip

Nice room, hotel, location and staff. Near Schwerin. The room has a ceiling fan but you could not feel the air from it. The bathroom floor needed a mopped specially around toilet. Other than that it was good.

Good but a few changes would make it excellent

My wife and I, both over 65, stayed 4 nights. As it was quite warm we wanted the windows open at night. As a result, we moved room after 2 nights because of noise from the nearby main road. After that we slept soundly. The breakfast was very good both in terms of range of options and overall value. We do have two suggestions: (a) staff should not reduce the available tables as quickly as they do - we went in about 30 minutes before closing time by when only 1-2 tables were available as many had been cleared and not reset. On particular the tables closer to the windows were always not available anymore. (b) Make scrambled eggs in smaller portions so its fresher - there was always a large amount of scrambled eggs but it was over-cooked because it has sat in the server for too long.
Finally, a major minus was the missing sauna. This is advertised when booking the hotel but was not working - the sauna unit had been removed and no one knew if it would be replaced.

Das Zimmer ist modern eingerichtet und Ausstattung in einem guten Zustand. Wenn man ankommt, ist das Zimmer kalt. (Temperatur). Das ist ungemütlich - etwas wärmer könnte es schon bei Ankunft sein! Frühstück ist einfacher Standard. (Preiswerter Käse/Wurst, Rührei, hartes Ei, Fleischsalat, Marmelade). Es fehlt der Versuch, etwas Gutes/wirkliche Aufmerksamkeit dem Gast zu bieten. 0815 Businesshotel am Stadtrand in der Nähe Einkaufsgebiet.
Sauna ist klein und erst ab 18.00 Uhr an.

Gestört hat uns, dass der Parkplatz 7,- € kostet. Das Hotel ist nicht in Stadtnähe gelegen und eigentlich nur mit PKW zu erreichen. Also macht der Tagespreis in unseren Augen keinen Sinn.

Sauberes, helles Hotel. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.
Gutes Frühstück mit allem, was man braucht. Die riesigen flimmernden Bildschirme an den Wänden oder Raumteilern wirkten störend, wenn man ein ruhiges Frühstück bevorzugt.
Der Parkplatz kostet pro Nacht 7,00 Euro.

Aufenthalt in Schwerin

In den Zimmern muss ein wenig gemacht werden. ZB der Toilettenpapierrollenhalter kann man vergessen, da die Rolle auch nicht abwickelt aufgrund zu wenig Platz. Und der automatische Türschließer war dezent locker. Ansonsten alles super. Frühstück auch sehr reichhaltig. Parken günstig.
