The hotel is a good walkable location for accessing the town center and Schloss. Staff and check in were excellent. The rooms were spacious, modern, well decorated, and clean. The mattress and bedding were very comfortable. The parking garage was inexpensive and there was plenty of spaces. That is the good. It was a hot June weekend and a key criteria for choosing a hotel was an AC cooled room. Outside during the day, it was 32 centigrade. The room at check in was close to 30. When we returned in the evening the outside temperature was 24 centigrade. The room was still close to 30. We turned on the AC, all it did was blow warm air. Front desk was not able to assist. We were forced to sleep in a hot room that never cooled over the course of the night. Cooling should be based on room temperature and occupancy, not outside temperature.

Amazing staff, very comfy room with aircon (great as it was v hot when we visited). Decent breakfast. However, the location of this hotel really is a distance away from the places you’re likely to want to go as a tourist, especially the schloss and old town. I walked in in the first evening and it took me 25 mins (admittedly I have short legs and it was hot!). The amazing staff were great at providing us with bus times, but there were only 2 per hour and it took 20 mins as went round the outskirts of town to get in. We started using E-scooters, great for adults as the cycle lanes are excellent, but no good for our teen as you need to be 18. So, great hotel but think carefully about the location - if you want to pop back in the day, that’s not so easy.

bad choice to stay

The hotel is in a so called \"milking mode\". The place is run down and needs a complete overhaul. The staff is friendly but completely overwhelmed. The AC was not working and the promised \"technician\" never showed up. The location of the hotel is really good and has potential but as said the place is not recommendable at the current conditions.

I lived in USA and for that reason LOVED the fact that this Hotel had AC in the room what really helped me sleeping at night.
The hotel is just outside the main area, 8 minutes by bicycle, from the center and the castle. So not really walking distance. But with the bike very easy to do.

Hotel it self was pretty clean but at check-in told us that because of Corona, there would NOT be daily housekeeping in the room what is weird because all other hotels did have it on our trip.
The Cleaning person had forgotten to empty the trash can in the room and when we told the front desk to get it emptied, it was NOT taken care off.
I would come back to this hotel in the Summer because of the AC!

No cleaning!
No toalet paper!
Even after several feedback and mails nothing improved! My worst 7 days in a hotel ever!!!

I had to throw all the bed sheets and garbage out in the corridor to be taken seriously by the hotel!

1 and 2 night we spended 3-4 hours until 3 in the morning to kill all the mosquitoes in the rooms! Non I’m our 7 nights did we sleep well: it was 36 degrees inside with no working AC!

Receptionist and owner/manager didn’t listen to my requests to clean the rooms! On the fifth night we got offer to change our rooms but it was too little too late! We left on 7th day!
Do not underestimate the level of comfort of this hotel: zero zero zero zero -> one 0 for every claimed star!

STAY AWAY OF THIS PLACE!!!

One night stay - big family rooms

The hotel is not so far from the city center. Our room was very nice - spacious, clean and comfortable. Only the receptionist was very unfriendly and even rude, which really surprised us. The girl on the next day was much nicer.

One night was enough

This hotel is hard to locate and really needs a car or taxi to get to a public transport is poor. Walking, notably from the station is terrible and the rear entrance is not signposted in any way. Anyway the hotel is spacious, rooms well appointed and the reception staff helpful. However we stayed one night and it was enough due to its difficult location.

Grande conference hotel, but still not too big. Clean spacious rooms - polite, service minded staff - delicious breakfast. Nice bar/ lounge for evening drink. Perfect situated in walking distance to the heart of the town -with all tourist attractions, the formidable castle and shopping street, restaurants etc. Parking garage for hotel guests under the hotel makes it easy to choose while arriving by car.

Great hospitality. Comfortable room. From the staff at the front desk to the lady who was in charge of the breakfast were so wonderful. One morning, the breakfast room was all of a sudden very crowded because of a huge group of tourists eating at the same time. The person in charge came to my table after they were gone to check everything was ok with me. This property is a bit off the center of the city, but I found a very beautiful cemetery just across the street that leads to a path around small lakes. These were some of my highlights of visiting Schwerin!

We stayed in a suite with a lake view and a balcony. The view was nice, but nothing special. The room was big and nicely decorated, but there was a persistent bad smell in the room, possibly the air conditioning needed maintenance.
The public areas were nicely decorated as well.
Our room price was very good, but it did not include breakfast or parking. Breakfast was a bit expensive, but selection was fine and we did not bother to go looking for something cheaper. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening. The price level for food was acceptable and we liked the taste.
Service was good. There seemed to be lots of Spanish trainees working in the hotel, and they spoke good German. They seemed to also know English well.
There was a supermarket approx. 10 min walk away, and it took maybe 20 min walk to the Schwerin castle. The castle was nice, but we liked Ludwigslust palace (approx. 30 min by car) even better.

Convenient to the city centre and castle, both only about a 15 minute walk. Only disappointing factor was the AC was out in the room, and it was summer with the sun heating up the room to unpleasant levels late in the afternoon.

We were able to walk to the main part of town and the parking made it easy to drive. Breakfast buffet well worth it. Our only problem was the air conditioning wasn't working and our rooms were on the fifth floor. As Americans we were not used to the heat. Staff was friendly and helpful. Next time would try for a lower floor

nice hotel, but ...

This is a nice hotel. A bit of a walk to the old town area, but I didn't think that was a big deal. Breakfast buffet was very nice. Room clean and comfortable. Nice staff. However, the A/C didn't work. For the room I was in this was a real problem since trains run right past the hotel. I then had to open the window to cool off the room and close it to block the noise (again it is right next to the hotel on the back side). In addition I went to work out in their gym (actually very very nice), but the lights didn't work there so I tried to work out with the fading light at the end of the day. Add the non working A/C and it was a short workout. Had things worked I would give hotel higher marks.

Big disappointment

Was booking a hotel in Schwerin (my hometown) and found this Hotel (which i also know from years ago, when i still lived there). I had to book short notice for 2 adults and our kid. Most hotels did not offer a room for 3 people occupancy so i was happy that this hotel did (for extra charge of course). After a long car ride we arrived after midnight and were looking forward to go to bed. Front desk (no english) told us that we can not have a bed for the kid due to the last minute booking. I was arguing that i booked and payed for 3 but it didn't make sense. The gentlemen told us that he is the only staff in the entire hotel and that even if he wanted to he doesn't have a bed and capacity to set it up. Of course, i did not get a reimbursement. Arriving in the room we figured out that our queen bed were 2 single beds put together. Normally, not a problem, but the mattresses were so soft that our kid who had to sleep in between us fell in the crack and kept on waking up the whole night. Next day i wanted to steam iron a shirt but i didn't because the board and the steam iron had big disgusting burn marks on it.

Also, the garage rates which were posted in the garage for hotel guests were not given to us because some kind of machine broke. But i didn't really understand the story because the hotel staff was so busy doing other stuff on her computer that i finally walked away.

Easy to find off the main road network and convenient for the lake and city. Over an underground carpark which is convenient, if not cheap. Spa closed at 15h00 - booking in time, which was disappointing. Breakfast expensive for what we got.

Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich. Die Ausstattung ist insgesamt gut, wirkt jedoch etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Lage ist dafür wirklich zentral und praktisch.

Leider ließ die Sauberkeit etwas zu wünschen übrig. Bei der Anreise war der Mülleimer nicht geleert, es stand noch eine Flasche Wein darin.

Auch das Frühstück konnte mich nicht überzeugen. Es startet zwar um 6 Uhr, aber wenn man erst gegen 8 oder 9 Uhr kommt, wirken Wurst, Käse und andere Speisen nicht mehr besonders frisch oder appetitlich.

Speisebereich hat zeitliche Spuren im Bodenbereich & Co. Hotelbar ohne Snackangebote. Man bietet Snack aus dem Automaten zum Selbstkauf an, welcher teilweise leer ist. Snackautomat ist innen verunreinigt = unappetitlich.

Wir waren für einen Kurzaufenthalt in Schwerin. Das Hotel ist zentral gelegenen. Man kann fußläufig alles gut erreichen.
Das Frühstück war sehr vielseitig und lecker. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Bodde 4st i ett rum. Stort rum och bäddsoffan var bäddad när vi kom, den passade barnen perfekt. Bra sängar och kuddar. Liten godis på allas kuddar när vi kom.
Frukosten klart godkänd, maken var mycket nöjd med omelettstationen, jag fick ett glas bubbel och barnen pannkakor från en rolig pannkaksautomat.
Perfekt med parkering under hotellet.
Liten promenad till gamla stan, men det visste vi om.
Tågen går utanför fönstret och kan störa.

Die Zimmer waren sehr schön elngerichtet und auch die Betten sehr bequem. Man hat ein Parkhaus, wo man direkt parken kann, allerdings gehört das nicht zum Hotel und man kann nur in bar bezahlen. Daher hatte ich einige Diskussionen, weil weder das Hotel, noch das Parkhauspersonal helfen konnten. Der nächste Geldautomat war in der Innenstadt. Eine Info vorab wäre sinnvoll. Ansonsten natürlich auch citynah gelegen.

Das Zimmer war groß und das Bett äußerst bequem.
Leider war das Duschwasser nur lauwarm und nicht richtig heiß.
Die Schalldämmung des Zimmers ließ zu wünschen übrig – ich habe sehr gut geschlafen, aber meine Frau wurde mehrmals in der Nacht durch Autolärm und Sirenen geweckt.
Das Frühstück war spektakulär: reichhaltig und von außergewöhnlich guter Qualität – absolut empfehlenswert!
Insgesamt eine sehr gute Erfahrung, ich würde definitiv wiederkommen… in der Hoffnung, dass an einer besseren Schallisolierung gearbeitet wird.
Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut!
Die Entfernung zum Schloss Schwerin beträgt zu Fuß etwa 20–25 Minuten.
Leider gibt es keinen kostenlosen Parkplatz direkt am Hotel – nur kostenpflichtig und auf Anfrage.

Leider zu laut und für mich zu weiche Betten

Ich konnte leider in beiden Nächten nicht gut schlafen. Die Fenster sind zwar gut schallisoliert, aber bei offenem Fenster steht man senkrecht im Bett, wenn draußen der Zug vorbeifährt. Das Frühstück war leider auch so lala, viel Auswahl aber keine gute Qualität.

Schönes Hotel mit gut ausgestatteten Zimmern und in der Nähe des Schlosses gelegen. Diese waren zudem erfreulich leise. Leider war jedoch die Zimmerreinigung schlecht. Die Zahnputzbecher waren in allen drei gebuchten Zimmern nicht gereinigt worden. Wollmäuse lagen auch nach der Reinigung noch an der selben Stelle und leere Toilettenrollen wurden nicht ersetzt.

hervorragende Ausstattung und Einrichtung. Großes Zimmer und Bad, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Umfangreiches Frühstücksangebot, sehr dekorativ angerichtet. Freundliches Personal; sehr sauber.

Weekend på Premier Plaza Schwerin

Vores værelse var godt dimensioneret. Udmærkede og smagfulde møbler, velfungerende tv og funktionelt badeværelse. Fin hygiejne.
Jeg savnede som 1,93 cm høj person en lidt længere dyne og til morgenmaden, at der lå glutenfrit brød fremme, som jeg har set andetsteds. Alt i alt dog en rigtig god oplevelse.

Empfang hätte etwas freundlicher und zuvorkommender sein können. Wir waren vor der Check In Zeit dort und mussten alles selber erfragen mit Parken und Gepäck vor Ort lassen etc. Dusche war nicht gut gereinigt als wir später das Zimmer bezogen. Bett war zu weich.

Positiv: Frühstückstisch wurde zum Geburtstag meiner Frau nett dekoriert. Zimmer war sehr groß. Frühstück war reichlich.
