Rooms were lovely - cleaned every day - Restaurant was very good with plenty of variety. Only negative thing about this stay was there was lots of building work going on meaning pool out of use, gym out of use, no sunbeds around the pool just up on the veranda - and the workmen without fail started at 8am every morning until late at night - obviously hotel getting ready as quickly as possible for the Easter rush. But that cant be helped - it will obviously be back to normal in a couple of weeks.

Stayed in a premium room but struggled to see why its premium. Few extras like a kettle but tea and coffee not replenished, wallpaper coming off the wall, floor around edges dirty. Stayed B&B, breakfast ok, glad we were not HB. Staff friendly and courteous, building work going on around pool which we didn’t know about until we got there. Hotel in a good location.

Stayed for 3 nights the hotel was clean but the decor was a bit dated. The food was great in the breakfast and evening meal . Only grumble was that you had to pay for the drinks in the evening meal. Well located and on site parking.
The staff were very pleasant.
Would stay there again and value for money.

Room wasn’t properly cleaned and pillowcase was smelling bad. Got one of the worst rooms on ground floor with smelly bathroom and not any balcony view even when booked it was different picture. Think that no other guest were on ground floor except staff. Maybe one room was engaged with guests in same floor ,all others were on higher floors.

Arrived around 9 pm and checked in with no problems. The receptionist advised that if we left our bags at the reception desk, we could go down for Dinner before it closed at 9:30. After a nice meal, we collected our bags and went up to our premium room, which was large and clean, with 2 double beds. Our room was on the opposite side from the pool and garden area, so not a great view of the opposite building, but we did have a partial view of the sea. We were half board and found that there was plenty to choose from both at Breakfast and Dinner with good quality food. The hotel's Wi-Fi worked well, and the bar and garden areas were kept clean, with bar prices being very reasonable for a hotel. Great location for walking to the beach and up to the Marina, with the park not too far away, although this does mean going up the hill to reach it.

First time in Benalmadena and the hotel is a perfect location to be able to visit all the different areas. Good variety of shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel, although very good, could do with a little bit of modernisation and a general lick of paint in the rooms. Beds and towels changed daily. Don’t think they replaced our glass each day though. Lots of extra bedding supplied, which we didn’t need. Air conditioning unit excellent. The walls between the bedrooms though are as thin as paper. We were disturbed most of the week by very noisy neighbours. The staff are all really polite and helpful. We were allowed to swap our even meals for lunch whenever we needed and an early breakfast on the day we checked out. The food in the restaurant was a good selection. Some of the food was colder than we would have liked though although they do have microwaves there you can use. The salad and bread selections were brilliant but the warm food did get a bit samesie after a few days hence why we changed some days to lunchtime so that we could go out of the hotel in the evening. Pool was lovely, not busy at all, loads of sun beds available. We didn’t attend any of the evening entertainment but seemed to have a good variety advertised. In general , for the price we paid we had a wonderful time, well worth the money and certainly got our monies worth from the half board offer.

This time not so much! The room they gave us wasn’t what we booked! Ended up with a family room with no view what so ever! People houses and from a low floor.
Didn’t complain as we stayed for 1 night but won’t stay in a room without a sea view again.
On the plus side the room was ready for us when we arrived at 10.30am
The food was very good, something for everyone

The location is great but the hotel is tired and in need of some TLC. In one weeks stay my front handle came off and I had a bathroom leak. Poor grouting in bathroom, dirty carpets in communal areas, ripped sofas in “premium areas” - not what I’d expect from a four star.

Premium rooms are big and bright with a good size balcony. Bathroom nice too with lots of room to hang clothes / store luggage. Free water and soft drinks each day a really nice touch.

The pool is need of a good jet washing & there are not enough sun loungers by a long shot, also the pool isn’t big enough for the number of rooms / guests. Lots of people reserving beds and heading off the day.

Breakfast is good with lots of choice, we had dinner buffet one night and was not hugely impressed. Lots of nice restaurants nearby to choose from.

On arrival check in took forever & it was odd that rooms needed to be paid for separately / separate transactions despite being on same booking. I would visit Benalmádena again, but for the cost I expect better.

Hotel in excellent position for beach days and resort restaurants and nightlife you could chose evenings around the harbour area or bars of the beach also only a 15 min walk to torremolinos which offers a lot more entertainment..Hotel itself is well maintained and clean we stayed Breakfast only and it had a varied selection of good quality options .Pool area very clean although pool was was like getting into warm bath in 30c heat what do you expect ....pool bar area very good and competitive with local bars price wise .

The bed was massive! 2 double beds put together so it was lovely and roomy. The hotel was 5 minute walk from the marina and even less to the beach. Would book again. Only comment is the rooms are not sound proofed so you hear everyone arriving back late at night. Apart from that, it was great. Brilliant location, good facilities and helpful staff.

Lovely stay! Me and my boyfriend went for our anniversary they upgraded us for free, the room was lovely despite the air conditioning only went hot, it wasn’t too bad as we went in Feb but if we was to go in summer it would have been unbearable. The food was lovely lots of choices. Only concern was that the entertainment and most things were Spanish, could be our fault for not researching it, but the entertainment still made us laugh. Definitely recommend going. THE COCKTAILS WERE BANGING!!!

Nice hotel in a nice area. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and the pool was good. The food was decent but a little average - some more variety would have been appreciated.
Some issues I had: I emailed the hotel (once via Expedia) as we were arriving late and wanted to let them know and enquire about food options on arrival. No one ever replied to my emails.
On arrival, we were told we had been “upgraded” to a Premier room but I had actually booked and paid for a Premier room so there was no upgrade.
We were told by pool staff that we could not book one of the private beds (cabanas) in advance. They could only be booked on the day, in the morning when the pool opened. However on the day we wanted to use the cabanas we were first in line only to be told all beds had been reserved and booked the day before. The inconsistency here was frustrating.
There was lots of building work happening in a neighbouring hotel which was very noisy and caused lots of traffic. And the entire beach area was closed for the whole duration due to construction. Had to walk 20 minutes for the nearest beach.
Despite the above, we did have an enjoyable time here. Nothing special but not a bad hotel.

My first time stay and although it is a smaller hotel but quite impressed how huge it feels as it is like a u shape on the inside. I stayed on the premium side which in my view gave us larger room and more modern facilities. The room was fantastic and very quiet and the bathroom was fair size with a bath n shower. The only downside - no kettle and the TV was small.

Stayed 31st January to 5th February.
The hotel is in an excellent position easy to get to marina and on a bus route. Slight hill to climb but not too bad.
The grounds are lovely and there is a path through gardens and a few steps to exit hotel if you wish to avoid the hill.
Rooms look nice but not practical. The hanging space is only suitable for tops, not deep enough for ladies dresses or trousers. Also there are no drawers. Not really suitable for storing clothes for a weeks holiday.
We had a kettle, which was good. But only paper cups provided and no spoons. Also no bin for the rubbish.
There was just a small bin in the bathroom.
The beds were comfortable.
The food was ok, but the hot plate didn't seem to be hot enough ( the poor chef looked stressed out) and the omelettes at breakfast were undercooked. Both myself and friends ate them the first morning and had upset tummies afterwards.
The bar prices good which made a nice change.
Overall we had a lovely stay. I would recommend it, but be aware of the practicalities.

No complaints about the staff some were happy some not so.

The rooms, although a bit dated were ok, however, My wife and I have never been bitten so much by mosquitos in our room. which put a complete downer on the holiday and I wasn't expecting to be spraying insect spay every couple of hours and still being bitten over 20 times each every night. Not sure whether it was just our room and our daughters but there is no way I could ever recommend to anyone and we certainly won't be there again!! Barracuda, Sol ~House there's so many better...

Overall, the hotel offered a pleasant environment and exuded a welcoming atmosphere.

The proximity to transportation made it convenient to get around, and being near the beach was a definite advantage.
However, the breakfast could benefit from better organization, with limited vegetarian options available.

Additionally, the WiFi internet connection was subpar and could use improvement, which could pose a concern for those needing to work remotely from the hotel.

the reception wouldnt give me a fan or put the air conditionong on as our room was very hot we had to open the balcony doors to cool down hich led to us both having sleepless nights because we were eaten live by mosquitoes. i tryed to que up to spk to reception but they was taking to long s i tryed to use the phone in the room but it wasnt working so i emailed them on hotel messenger but they still never got back to me.
the towels supplied were so small and faded and old i had to buy a towel from the shop. the bed wasnt made propley and i was itching all nights.
some of the kitchen staff at breakfast was very rude. and the food was cold.
i dont expext this kind of service hen i pay for a premium room.

The Mini Club from the pictures is fake: always closed.
The kids activities are not more than 2 hours per day (included night time). One of the reason to choose this hotel is the kids activities that shows in the website.

Booked this hotel due to its proximity to the marina the main thing was to have somewhere we could just use as a base. We only booked bed and breakfast.

We arrived and were given barely any information on the hotel or facilities, just checked in and pointed in the direction of the lifts. For a premium room, we had two beds shoved together for a family of four to sleep in, a tv with faulty sound and a minibar that consisted of a bottle of water and two soft drinks, none of which were very cold because the fridge was overheating.

We decided the first night to eat in the hotel’s only restaurant. It wasn’t too busy and there was a fair range of food on offer, although the fish I had was raw. But the price was very reasonable - the food and drinks all week were well priced. Breakfast was the usual hotel buffet fare, not much else to say about it.

The main issues started at night when we tried to sleep and realised the air con was faulty. The temperature was in the high 30s and while the air con was on, the room was still stifling hot. You had to stand on a chair and put your hand up to the unit to feel anything and even then it was just like someone was blowing on you.

We complained and maintenance came but it made no difference. We had 5 sleepless nights before I couldn’t take anymore and checked into another apartment. When I checked out the receptionist didn’t even ask why.

We asked for a refund for the 2 nights we didn’t stay but the hotel refused.

The hotel was lovely and all the staff were so friendly. There was a good range of activities and entertainment and the food was pleasantly surprising. There was only one evening that we didn’t really like the choices but we aren’t great fish lovers. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas and it is ideally situated for exploring the costa, pueblo and Arroyo.
We had a standard room and it was basic but clean. There were no tea or coffee facilities in the room but you could buy drinks at the bar. We had a small balcony which faced an empty courtyard area but we were lucky with the sun which shone on it for most of the day. There was quite a lot of building work taking place around the hotel when we were there but it was only noisy during the day and actually very quiet during the evening.
Remember to take spray or plug ins for mosquitoes as we got bitten quite a lot (but then we do leave the windows open as we don’t like to sleep with out any air)
I would recommend this hotel but if you prefer more facilities in your room and a nicer view then maybe upgrade to a superior or premium room.

Bar by the reception never opened so there was only a pool side bar .There seemed to be more groups there which could be noisy so not good for a family hotel .We have stayed 3 times before but will have a change next time .

The bedroom was cluttered with two double beds we had to move the chair from the table to get past the beds, room 103, overlooking carpark, we had to keep the curtains closed as passer by could look in. £100. a night just for the roomwe had to cancel first night but only Received £59 refund

Hotel is lovely. Entrance is bright and clean. Room was great with a great view. They even sent birthday cake and fizz to our room for my husbands birthday which was a lovely touch. All staff very friendly.

Lovely hotel But ….

Generally clean except our balcony was dirty with frequent visits from pigeons ! The bathroom was large , not sure if floor had been washed, and the towels were very old and worn . The hotel grounds are lovely & easy walking to harbour through tunnel under the road. Evening entertainment was good if you didn’t want to walk out . The staff could have been more pleasant just carrying out there duties without any personal attention. Toiletries are awful !

Breakfast was full of variety.
The man chef at stir fry noodle counter was very friendly and always smile and make delicious noodle!

Pool side was close after 6pm , I wish can shut a bit later .

Hotel is in good location. Staff are pleasant and helpful. The main foyer is well furnished but is draughty and lacks that cosy feeling. Premium rooms are spacious and well appointed. Food range is extensive and generally of good quality. Some of the buffet food could be warmer.
