Room and bathroom very clean, with mini fridge and safe in the room. All staff that I encountered from front desk, housekeepers and dining room were extremely professional, friendly and helpful. I did not take advantage of the spa or pool, but hope to when I have an opportunity to return. It is a short walk to the beach, making it convenient to go out and watch the sunrise. A little further is the Sopot pier and the shopping and dining district.

A modern hotel in a perfect location. Quiet rooms at the back of the hotel overseeing the trees, a fantastic breakfast with high quality fresh local produce.
One issue - staff just don't seem to care. There was a fire alarm at 4am and after the announcement in Polish and English to evacuate there were no further details. Guests panicked, got dressed and rushed outside just to be told by the reception staff that the alarm is now cancelled.
There was no follow-up announcement, no email to all guests confirming it's all fine or explaining what happened. When I asked the receptionist in the morning why we were not told straight away that the alarm is cancelled or given any details, she was oblivious and kept saying that it happens and it's what it is. We ended up having a terrible day as our child didn't go back to bed after waking up at 4am.
Another case of the mediocre staff attention is when it was raining really hard and I asked to borrow an umbrella just for a minute to move my child without getting soaked from the hotel to the taxi and the reception person and again the attitude was that the hotel does not provide umbrellas.
Small things matter and make a big difference so I hope this feedback will be considered by the hotel to make some improvements.

Amazing property but mostly staff. Very accommodating and helpful when needed. Beds are comfortable but you can’t separate them for two people unless you need them for kids. Grab studio bed instead which is lovely. Breakfast is delicious together with espresso coffee and access to oat milk or almond milk which you can froth and add to your coffee (I consider myself a Coffee connoisseur :). Overall, very pleasant 5 night stay and I’d def go back. Thank you to all making my stay so enjoyable.

We had a great 8 night stay at Hotel Sopot. It’s an easy and enjoyable walk to the beach and restaurants. Only recommendation would be to provide guests with more towels in the room and on site at the spa, gym, pool. Otherwise, we loved our stay!

Great hotel with excellent facilities and helpful staff. Location was good (though a short walk into town).

The room was very clean and comfortable, with nice furnishings.

The free sauna was also a nice treat!

A la carte meals can be slow at the restaurant on busy evenings. We were also surprised to learn that the hotel charges guests to use the sun beds at the beach.

These were our only minor complaints on an otherwise perfect stay.

First we had to wait around 45 minutes with 4months old baby for them to let us in as the apartment was not ready even though we came at check in time. Then they offered us only 2 welcome drinks to share among 3 adults. We have spent around 15 minutes waiting at the bar for barman to come and take the order. When waitress came she told us we can choose the wine from the list. After we chose other barman told us that as welcome drink we can’t choose the type of wine…
After finishing welcome drink we were told at the reception that the room is finally ready but unfortunately as we tried to enter it the housekeeper told us that she is not finished. We called the Manager on duty who came and asked if everything is fine, at that time those problems were solved so he answered himself that everything is fine and offered us a meal in restaurant where they do not serve vegetarian meals (and 2 people from our family are vegetarians)…
As we started to unpack we found out there was no bad sheet, robe and towels for third person in saloon, the robes were too small for males and that the towels that we had were having holes…

Parking issues

Property is really good, but there is issues for the parking. You need to reserve it in advance, otherwise you will travel around trying to find public space, where everybody parked for the beach. You pay quite big amount for the room and have issues with parking. Not expected

Visually a beautiful hotel. The setvice from the desk agents and bar staff was great!

The room is self was a little bit of a let down. Beautiful in apperance but that as 4* as it got.

- Bathroom contained long brown hairs on the floor and in the shower. Used shower gel left on the sink with the other complimentary soaps.
- Bed was wonderfully soft, however it was two single bed pushed together, during the night you would sink down the joint.
-Two single duvets for a double bed?
- Rooms not cleaned daily unless requested, so coffee was not stocked daily.

Overall a pleasant visist was had, but also let it self down considering the 4* status and price!

It was an very nice stay for one night and the team has been great from welcoming us, the Happy Hour on the bar 😋, Dinner in the Restaurant was delicious and the massage next day was a joy!

The team even extended our check out to 1 pm as we had a massage planned and so the accommodated us in a way to do not have to rush out of the hotel but had our time to get ready! Great experience and Hotel!

I liked the breakfast best of all the hotels in Poland.
Didn't like the view of the parking lot. Was surprised that the Sopot Library card opened the elevator and lights in my room I didn't try it on the door but it probablly worked on that too. Try it if so not secure! Is it I didn't sleep in the last night I went to another beach front hotel with balcony and had to beach front in my room beautiful I came 3000klm ns rerrible view. Thank You

Some reception staff were very good whilst other were very poor.
This hotel seem to care more for their corporation (possibly German) guests who appear to be greeted warmly and enthusiastically.

Appeared to be just another guest, I was not made aware of their facilities; felt almost unwelcome
Poor wifi; was not available on day 4
Not able to help with socket adapter; I have stayed around the world and all hotels keep socket adapters from 3 pin to 2 pin adaption.
No change at bar, so I had to keep a tab ( expectation of a tip?)
Overall, did not feel like a 4 star hotel guest. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL

Truely disappointed, worst experience in 3 years

This hotel managed to:
Give me a hard time about arriving at 2pm
Provide a room that the cleaner wanted to still access (was it cleaned?)
Fail to provide any service for a coffee or lunch whilst waiting
Enjoy the party it hosted so much it alienated guests trying to sleep
have one receptionist on call whilst some guests gave up waiting on reception due to the 15 minute wait time to be spoken to
Fail to set my requested wake up call
Fail to allow my airport taxi to pull up to the door, although I have explained my disability
chase me outside for local taxes, which were not declared on arrival
and owe my 2 PZL as the receptionist didnt have change.

Underwhelming and disappointing stay

We were very underwhelmed and disappointed with Hotel Sopot. The hotel definitely does not deserve 4 stars as the quality, staff and amenities do not measure up to what a 4 star hotel should be. It's incredibly overpriced for the value it delivers and inaccurately represents what it looks like in person.

Cons:
- The staff is understaffed and not present, it took me 4-5 tries to finally be able to reach the reception desk. It seems they are understaffed and missing strong management.
- There is no internet or mobile network in the rooms or hotel - we even asked staff to reset to router and still there was no internet through-out the hotel
- The rooms have no amenities besides shampoo, conditioner and towels
- The spa area is tiny and not taken care of - not clean, no towels, bright fluorescent lighting. The \"changing room\" is a co-ed bathroom.
- The hotel advertises that it's \"on the beach\" however, it's a good 10 minute walk down the street/forest behind. There is not direct access from the hotel
- We booked a \"sea view\" room which entailed a 2 inch horizon of the sea in the distance. It was rather a \"forrest view\".
- The vibe is eerie - it is not a designer hotel, not a business hotel, not a hotel for families, not a boutique hotel, not a luxury hotel so it's really missing a vibe, atmosphere and direction.

+ Very comfortable beds
+ Very nice lobby and bar area

Overall the the proximity to the beach, train, town and shopping was great! The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood which is very relaxing. Everything in the hotel was clean and I felt safe leaving my things behind. Service at the restaurant and front desk was nothing special. Could certainly be improved.

Very good value for money

The hotel is as good as it looks in the pictures. It's location is very good for the rail station and is a short stroll away from the beach. The parkland walk between the hotel and the beach is a plus in my book. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Sophisticated dinners and extensive breakfast buffet.

Overall it was pretty good, service was great, good breakfast, nice clean rooms. A few issues were that Wi-Fi didn’t work, and it’s very difficult to reach someone about an item I believe I left at the hotel. Also pictures are misleading, looks like hotel is connected to a private beach, but actually it’s like a 10 minute walk and anyone can come to that beach. You can rent chairs only with a deposit and carry them to the beach, which isn’t very convenient. They also advertise that they have beach umbrellas ans towels available, but they actually don’t. Chairs only.

Very clean hotel, staff was friendly but a lot of them were new and were struggling with service related tasks.
Hotel is currently building an outdoor pool, otherwise not many amenities. Not much of a backyard space either. Parking is extremely limited, if you park downstairs in the parking garage (which is also tiny) you have to pay a surcharge.

Breakfast buffet was delicious.

Check in and check out process was poor.

Beach and pier within walking distance.

Die Mitarbeiterinnen beim Empfang waren sehr freundlich und angenehm.
Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet. Was allerdings extrem störte, war die Klimaanlage. Obwohl sie ausgeschaltet war, machte sie mitten in der Nacht Geräusche, mal laut, mal leiser. Es hörte sich an als wenn Wasser in ein Becken läuft. Unüberhörbar und Schlaf raubend.

Veldig flott hotell med fantastisk beliggenhet

Veldig pent hotell og rom med hyggelig service og god frokost. Fint spa med svømmebasseng og saunaer. Veldig fin beliggenhet til stranden med kun 5 min gange. Det var også en hyggelig beach bar tilhørende hotellet og gratis solsenger. God beliggenhet til det meste.

Bra hotell med potential att bli ännu bättre

Vi bodde på Hotel Sopot under högsäsong och är överlag nöjda med vistelsen. Hotellet har ett väldigt fint läge, nära både strand och centrum, och rummet höll bra standard – fräscht och bekvämt. Priset var rimligt (under 2000 kr/natt) med tanke på säsong och kvalitet.

Dock började vistelsen lite snopet. Vi anlände vid 11-tiden och möttes i receptionen av ett ganska oengagerat bemötande. Svaret vi fick var kort: ”Ni kommer alldeles för tidigt – ert rum är inte klart förrän 15.00”, utan vidare information eller någon känsla av välkomnande. Det kändes inte särskilt gästvänligt och satte tyvärr en lite kall ton.

Frukosten var trevlig och riklig, men baren och restaurangen saknade lite puls och atmosfär. SPA och pool var helt okej, men inget som stack ut.

Sammanfattningsvis: Ett hotell med bra läge och fina rum till ett rimligt pris, men servicen – särskilt i receptionen – behöver lyftas för att helhetsupplevelsen ska bli så bra som den har potential att vara.

Die Lage des Hotels war optimal, eine Mitarbeiterin war auch richtig lieb und hilfsbereit, ich glaube das war die Frühstücks Managerin. Die Rezeptionistinnen waren eher unfreundlich, voreingenommen und kühl uns ggü. Zu den polnischen Gästen waren die Damen sehr freundlich, aber als deutscher hatte man das Gefühl dort nicht so willkommen zu sein. Vom Service hatte ich definitiv mehr erwartet! Das Frühstück war gut.

Slarvig städning samt glömt bort att städa vårt rum en dag. Slitet på rummet, kyl fungerad inte, gardinerna var det revor i,
Säkerhetsskåpet var inte fixat vid ankomst, tog tid att få hjälp. Frukosten håller inte standarden för antal stjärnor på hotellet. Dyr frukost om du behöver köpa till r/t kommer tidigt på morgonen innan du fått checkat in.
Tvål saknades på de allmänna toaletterna.
Ligger nära stranden. Tyvärr stökigt m solsängarna där, inga madrasser att ligga på som andra hotell hade. För få solsängar

The carpeted floor on the corridor smells so bad. The housekeeping didn’t change our bedsheets for our whole 7nights stay (maybe that was there standard?) Didn’t refill the shampoo or bodywash (no sign at all if what kind of soap that was inside the shower). No handsoap!!! Mopped/cleaned the floor just once!!! And sometimes they dont bother to fold the bedsheets, they just covered the bed with it. And once they didn’t clean our room. For a 4star hotel thats been advertised, i think it didn’t fit at all. Plus side,, is they are smiling and friendly but its not so easy to communicate because of the language.

Extremely Disappointed – Avoid Room With Broken AC

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves one.

We stayed at this hotel recently, and for three days we reported—twice a day—that the air conditioning in our room wasn’t working. Each time, we were told that someone would look into it. Nothing happened. On the third day, we finally heard from a staff member that the AC in our room hadn’t worked for weeks, and they apologized for the inconvenience.

What’s worse is that they asked us not to leave a bad review, saying someone would contact us to resolve the issue. It’s now been four days since we checked out, and no one has reached out.

The lack of honesty and follow-up is unacceptable. If you stay here, make sure everything in your room actually works—especially if it’s something essential like AC. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

Zum zweiten Mal dort gewesen. Leider hat es sich doch verändert.
Zimmer wird nicht richtig geputzt. Benutzte Kaffeetassen auch nicht gereinigt und neue hin gestellt.

Okay, but no more than that.

Quite ok, but no more than that. We were incredibly disappointed that there were no sun beds on the beach and that the beach bar was closed. There was no information given to us beforehand. We had to go to other hotels and pay for sun beds instead...
The spa was very small and not very fresh.
The room was fine.
There is some noise from traffic in the street next door that you should be aware of.

Rolig beliggenhet med bra service

Fint hotell ,i stille omgivelser .15 min. Gang tur inn til Sopot torg . Bra aircondition og flott rengjøring av rom ,med nye håndkler og ble satt inn vann flasker hver dag. Hyggelig betjening. Deilig med et lite basseng i en hyggelig hage med solsenger. Maten noe dyrt så vi spiste ikke frokost og middag.Tog stasjon like ved Lidl ovenfor hotellet å gå 10min. Hotellet Anbefales for et roligere sted nær Sentrum .
Fin tur inn til Gdansk om man ønsker med tog

Toppenhotell för Hundägare – Hotel Sopot Levererar

Jag kan inte nog rekommendera Hotellet för alla som letar efter en minnesvärd och trevlig vistelse, särskilt för hundägare! Från det ögonblick vi steg in genom dörrarna kände vi oss varmt välkomnade av den vänliga och hjälpsamma personalen. Deras gästfrihet gjorde verkligen skillnad och satte tonen för hela vår vistelse.

Hotellet är skinande rent och fräscht, vilket skapade en mycket behaglig atmosfär. Rummen var välutrustade och smakfullt inredda.

En av de största fördelarna med hotellet är dess fantastiska hundvänlighet. Som en stolt hundägare var jag imponerad av hur välkomna både vi och vår fyrbenta vän kände oss. Hotellet erbjuder inte bara bekväma faciliteter för hundar, utan personalen var också mycket förstående och hjälpsam när det kom till att tillgodose våra behov. Det fanns till och med speciella bekvämligheter som hundbäddar och vattenskålar på rummet, vilket var en fin touch som gjorde vistelsen extra speciell.

En annan stor fördel är hotellets läge nära både en park och stranden. Det gjorde det enkelt att ta med vår hund på promenader och utflykter, vilket verkligen förhöjde vår vistelse. Hotellet är ett utmärkt val för alla som vill ha en bekväm och hundvänlig vistelse. Vi kommer definitivt att återvända hit igen och rekommenderar varmt detta hotell till alla, särskilt hundägare som vill resa med sina älskade husdjur!

Decent hotel fairly close to the beach

Decent hotel fairly close to the beach and away from the buzz in the city centre.

New renovated rooms.
Cleaning personal exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Front desk personal not very service minded.
Beach bar not opened every day and lacking half of the menu (for example aperol spritz in the middle of July!?)
Only two elevators in the whole hotel is insufficient.
No bottled water in the hotel room, only some strange opened bottle with filtered water.
Garden closes already at 21.00.

Få i personalen var serviceinriktade. Dyr frukost för vad man får.

Läget är bra. Ganska nya och fräscha rum men smutsig spa-avdelning.

All in all a nice hotel. There was some rubbish under the bed (e.g. lollipop sticks). But basically everything was clean. The staff was very polite. I could imagine a second stay.

Fint hotell med morderna rum, god mat, mysigt spa och bra service. Litet minus för städningen. Heltäckningsmattan och textilen i soffa och fotölj var ofräscht.

Hotel Sopot skuffer i den grad!

Alt foregår på Polsk, også menuerne!
Personale taler kun Polsk og fatter ikke et ord engelsk!
Morgenmads buffet acceptabel.
Aftensmadsbuffet under al kritik. Elendigt!
Meget lange leveringstider fra køkkenet ved a la carte. Meget ringe udvalg på menu.
Hotellet og baren løber tør for så simple ting som Cola, Cola zero, Isterninger! Gentagne gange.
Meget dyrt i forhold til kostpris!
Det skal vi ikke prøve igen.
På hotellets private strand, uforskammet personale. Aldrig mere.
Spa og swimmingpool meget uhygiejnisk. Pool decideret ulækker og grumset også efter henvendelse til personalet om at få rettet op på rengøring.
