Ground flor looks reach and posh but first floor a wee bit old fashion. Bathroom definitely not a 5 star. Breakfast super expensive. if 4 people would pay for breakfast this would double the cost of room. also price for parking was shocking

Very good hotel

It was a nice stay. Hotel and staff very nice. Very helpful staff. The room was clean. Only thing returning in the evening at 8 pm was difficult, the platform was not lit. I am after hip surgery- and was afraid to go because I could not see anything. The leaves were not cleaned up either. Another issue was the spa area - there should be some maximum number on the pool because it was impossible to swim completely. Other than that thank you I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We have stayed here a few times but this time disappointed with how tired the hotel is looking, small things like curtains in the room hanging off and grout missing so the shower leaked. Pillows were strange so didn’t sleep very well. Issues with the key too, our friends were worse they literally kicked the door in and replaced the whole lock and the next day it was broken again ! Jacuzzi not working either and swimming area broken tiles and dirty. A real shame because it could be so nice. Room was OK but due to lack of upkeep and cost we will look to stay somewhere else next time.

Lovely hotel and have stayed here a few times - lots of company conference so struggled to be served at the bar on an evening - pool needs attention as steam broken and lots of pieces of mosaic floor broken

Room - very comfy bed and quiet - Shame beach loungers not available as it was a sunny weekend and would have loved to lay on the beach

This was a comfortable old fashioned hotel -we had a beautiful suite with a nicel wood paneled library , ample coffee and tea service, electric blinds-and anything we asked for was delivered. the hotel is located in a quiet part of town with lovely fin de siecle villas, a walking distance to the park and the beach, and a comfortable walk to the busy resort center.

Excellent service, we ordered roomservice a couple of times and it was fast and the food was good. I can really recommend ordering up breakfast to the room! For a small fee you can get as much as you like delivered straight to your room.
It was quite hard and took some time to find a parking spot in the area, so be prepared for that if you take the car.
The hotel offers sun beds at the beach for a cost of 70 zl for two beds and a parasol, which was really nice.
Clean and nice hotel and all in all really good.

It's a good hotel but room keeping turn up at 9am and if you're not up by then they don't return for the rest of the day so we had the same towels for 4 days and had to chase toiletries. Might suit a business traveler more than those having a weekend way.

Our room was in the wing of the hotel above the conference centre where they had a band playing for a party very loudly until 5am. It was impossible to sleep. We called to complain and they refused to ask them to reduce the noise level. The rooms have no soundproofing and they allow parties hosted in the hotel to go until the morning with no regard for their guests. We had a wedding to attend the following evening for which we were absolutely wrecked due to zero sleep the night before. We might as well have been in the room with the party ourselves. Do not stay here if you are not a part of the event in the conference centre. They have no regard for guests who are staying with them to actually sleep.

The hotel itself is very dated.
They nickel and dime you for everything. You have to pay extra for the chairs at the beach and there is a “resort fee” on top of the daily rate which was never mentioned to us until check out.

Staffs are really helpful, this was the only Valuable thing here. I understood it was hotel’s hot season in July, but 1330zloty for a double premium room with a 4 years old kid, it was still pricey, because it was not including breakfast, extra 70zloty per adult. I would rather recommend Costa on Main Street.There wasn’t inform about parking tax(17zloty), 120zloty for 2 days parking. The view from our room is some ugly iron roof, and the small alley next to the old tennis stadium. Generally not recommend to come in such payment

Lovely hotel, polite staff and great facilities

Really relaxing hotel with private beach area and bar. All staff were very polite and service was exceptional. Only issue was mosquito in our room ! Should have taken a plug in device but didn’t realise there would be mosquitos and there were no sunbeds only bar chairs. You could carry a dumbed from reception but this is too far. Bed was really comfy and hotel was very quiet so we managed to sleep well. No English channels so suggest you take your iPad and watch items on there.

Great location ... Downers the beach bar and loungers not available until late June/July could hire a lounger from reception and carry to the beach which isn't practicle in hot weather!

Bed was so small and uncomfy with a topper that was too small so had to top and tail which isnt what you want to do.

Great gym and pool and good location to the restaurant and bars .. great huge shopping complex in Gydnia

Will return again if the beds are sorted and loungers should be available in may !

We’ve booked this Hotel because we have stayed there before and was brilliant fantastic experience since that nothing got worst is lovely hotel for couples business etc. They have improved few things great service staff very polite I would recommend this to anyone who’s looking for high standards relaxing moments.

It may not be the newest but it's still one of the best. Refurbished room was excellent - even USB ports for charging phones. Staff very friendly and proud of the Tri-City area. About 10 mins walk to Monte Cassino, 15 to Pier. Pool/spa was clean, staff helpful

Superb for kids!

Last weekend I stayed overnight at this hotel with my 2 year old son. It's located 5 min walk from the seafront and 10 minutes walk to the main high street. Staff are very friendly, helpful and well mannered. My son has got an alergy and I brought in my own meal for him. I was allowed to warm it up in the kitchen with no problem, which was very helpful. The room was comfortable and clean and the hotel overall was quiet offering a relaxing environment. Very nice interior, lovely restaurant area and well equipped bar. The highlight for us was the Pirate Room for kids with a balls pool, toys and games which my son loved. Perfect alternative if the weather is not so great. I highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely be back next year.

Hotel Haffner is an old-world style beach hotel. Our room was large and well appointed - we even had a separate bath and bidet in a large bathroom. It is a 15 minute stroll from the Sopot main street where all the restaurants are, but only 5 minutes from the beach. It provides a very good breakfast and the staff were friendly. It is ideal for \"business and pleasure\" which is what they claim. There are lovely walks through woods, parks and along the beach. The hotel's main restaurant provides excellent meals or you can get a good burger in the large bar area.

The hotel was very convenient for my business meetings and easy to get to from the train station. The facilities were excellent especially the pool. Nice hotel for a group stay

We stayed in that hotel with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday. The hotel staff are nice and professional. Although the hotel is dated a bit, it was comfortable enough for us all and very close to the centre. There are a lot of places to eat and drink in the area as Sopot is a great beach town with fantastic bars and restaurants.
Very pleasant stay indeed.

Fabulous hotel

Great hotel for a stop over from Gdansk airport, only 30 mins traveling.
Parking is restricted and charged extra. Rooms are being refurbished but our rooms were great.
We arrived too late for dinner but bar food was fine, good range of wines beers and whisky.
Pool and sauna really good, hottest sauna ever!
Breakfast was stunning in a lovely dining room, only complaint was queues for coffee machine.
Check out was quick and left car in car park whilst we explored Sopot which is a really gorgeous resort town with lots of hotels and fantastic coffee shops.
We will be back.

Check-in could of been much better maybe some one to explain about the hotel and where things are ect.
The hotel is great huge gym pool spa sauna steam room. 15 mins to walk to the main part of town not far at all and it's a nice walk. Breakfast was fantastic..

Clean, modern and quite centrally located. Close to the beach and the main street Monte Cassino. The only con would be fairly small beds, especially for a North American traveller. The hotel is on one way street, so don't pass it! The unpaved parking lot is right behind the hotel.

The hotel was well maintained with good facilities although lacking a sun lounge, however it was quite close to the beach as well as being only a 10 minute walk to the tourist areas with all the diverse cafes and restaurants. The weather could have been less changeable but the hotel provided umbrellas when necessary. The desk staff were excellent and always able to answer questions, helping us with travel arrangements to get to Gdansk, Gdynia, Hel and back by train and boat. The restaurant and bar had good choices of food and drink, although breakfast, if bought on a daily basis, proved expensive.

The hotel is in a good location about 10 minutes walk away from the town centre its between 2 train station half way. Its a lovely 15-20 minute walk from Sopot main station. The room was clean and very tidy. Receptionists were efficient and welcoming but some local knowledge should be given to a few of them. Hotel wifi was acceptable but kept dropping off (some upgrading needed there) The spa is small but amazing enjoyed every moment we spent there. did not have breakfast at the hotel as we prefer local places. Polish bread stuff, dairy and other products are of excellent quality. On departure we were faced with a local city tax of zl25 for 4 nights (2013) that no one had mentioned before so be prepared The `Molo` is a must its the longest pier around. Up to 9pm it costs to enter but its money well spent. try the apple pie at the Molo's restaurant. The beach is great. The sea is a bit on the cold side but one can get used to it. Visit Gdansk as well its only 20 minutes away by train. Sopot and Gdansk are lovely places clean nice and safe for all. We had a fantastic few days there

Hotel Haffner is a nice property at which I will consider staying again. The hotel is well organized with an attractive lobby, helpful staff and good restaurant on premises. Our stay was, unfortunately, tainted by an exploding pipe that lead to a series of disruptions (changing room, smoking neighbor, et al). The staff did their best to help in a bad situation, otherwise, this stay would have gotten a warning to avoid Haffner at all costs.

First class service. Will definately stay at this Hotel again, the staff couldn't do enough for us. The pool, sauna and spa were amazing. The food was really nice and such good value. We got this hotel on a late deal and couldn't believe how cheap it was. Probably one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. Can definately recommend this for a stay in the lovely sopot.

Large rooms, nice staff, nice bar & restaurant. Cigar room, mini golf etc. Pool inside, but after I saw people coming back from it with really red eyes, I figured they add to much chlorine to the water so I passed on this experience. Breakfast- 10 or 20 dollars, much too much. Walk dawn to the town and spend 5 dollars on nice breakfast. Area is really quiet and walk to the parks and the beach short, a little bit longer to the main street with the all night life but still ok.

Friendly and well appointed hotel

Start to finish, a really nice hotel to stay at. Excellent food and very good, easy & friendly service. The restaurant was good for breakfast, thoughts that the full breakfast seemed a bit expensive vanished when we experienced the quality and variety of food and drink available. The Continental breakfast taken in the \"cafe lounge\" at the front of the hotel was very nice indeed, plenty to eat, beautifully presented and our favourite breakfast, always served by warm and friendly staff. Service in the \"pub bar\" late evening was also very good, a delightful experience, nice to know one could be late back and still find a good variety of food being served.
The room was comfortable and fresh, room service was very good.
The walk across the park to the beautiful sandy beach was easy, just one main road to cross with no problems. The walk into Sopot centre and the Pier was easy, even for one needing a walking stick.
Compared to a previous stay at another hotel in Sopot it was very good value, and the final bill for food, bar, cafe and room service was not a shock!
The Haffner was great for us and to us, and is thoroughly recommended!

This hotel is in a quite aera of sopot about 10 minutes from the town. the hotel was very smart and clean. The hotel has a residents bars but this can be closed due to fuctions in the hotel. there is also a spa and hairdressers spa was fab the hairdressers let me down booked a app when i went down the had no recollection of my booking poor show.

the building is about 7 y.o. The rooms are big and comfortable. Rooom-Service was relatively expensive, but the food was good. Nice, large indoor-pool. Guarded parking, same places are in the basement. Walking distance to the beach 3 minutes. My wife had a wonderful massage in the spa.

we spent 3 days in this hotel. it was absolutely fantastic. the staff were friendly, the spa department was fantastic, the breakfast was good, they made good drinks in the bar and we had a really good experience at the restaurant in the hotel - the food and service we got there were top notch. the location was about a 10-minute walk to the center of Sopot.

Vi har bodd på en del 5 stjerners hotell så forventninger er deretter. Hotellet er fint i seg selv men de må jobbe mer med totalopplevelsen. Savner følelsen av å \"bli sett\" og savner smill (vi smilte hele tiden!) og vennlighet. Selv om vi fikk det når vi skulle sjekke ut i form av nybakte kjeks. Det var topp.

Andre ting man forventer på et 5 stjerners hotell: gratis solsenger på stranden. Mer SPA følelse på SPA avdelingen. Strykejern på rommet. Servering av kaffe ved bordet ( frokosten).

Det som var veldig fint å se er hotellsjefen. Hun hilste på alle gjestene og hjalp til i frokostserveringen. Veldig bra!

Robin

Fasad och inredning var fyrastjärnig. Service och själva vistelsen var mer tvåstjärnig med Svenska mått. För att få rummet städat var man tvungen att hänga ut en skylt på dörren(!). Sista vistelsedagen stod jag i tjugo minuter för att köpa en kaffe utan att få hjälp i ända baren. Såg då en mus springa längs väggen bakom bardisken.
Väldigt trevlig personal, men allt (solstolar, kaffe etc) var å det närmaste franska rivierans priser

Mycket behaglig vidtelse

Allt var toppen! Badet, rummen, massagen var särskilt bra, enorm frukost. Vi var 6 vuxna och alla hade samma uppfattning.
Vi åt en större middag och beställde lite olika. Alla var mycket nöjda med förrätter, main och dolce. Även drinkarna var OK.
Rekommenderas.

5 dagers ferie med familie på 9
Stortsett bra, men over hele tiden gikk bare én heis og kaffeautomaten funka bare én som måtte vedlikeholdes hele tiden. Mye kø.
Bartenderen som vi hadde smilte ikke én eneste gang. Veldig morsk. Selv om vi bestilte hver kveld og ikke lite …

Trist omgivning med rivningshus till granne men nära till stranden.
Personalen var dåliga på engelska.
Heltäckningsmatta och badkar känns gammaldags.

Boendet nådde inte helt upp till mina förväntningar främst pga att maten inte höll tillräcklig standard. Rummet var rymligt och Wi-Fi:n var ok. Tv:n var enorm och det gick att casta, vilket var riktigt trevligt.
