I came at a terrible time. The parking lot was being re-survaced and that was not mentioned at the point of the reservation. I was told to park on the road in front of the hotel. However do to the large construction crew parking all their vehicles on said road there was no parking to be had for quite a hiking distance. Check in was short. Got into my room, never checked anything went to bed. Woke up the next morning getting ready to go to work, opening the drapes and realizing that part of the ceiling by the window was covered in black mold. I left to tell them that when I retunred from work that evening that I expected to switch rooms. The guy at the reception tried to tell me it was not mold and it just needed paint. I dont think so. They did put me in another room that night what was surprisingly clean. The breakfast in the morning was none exsisting unless you are ok with some coffee, juice and a brown banana. The young woman working the evening reception was lovely, helpful and understanding. The morning guy was non caring. Overall the hotel has seen better days and is in need of updates. The pool was open and heaviy clorinated. Same with the hot tub. Just adding clorine will not clean a hot tub or the nozzles for the massage jets. I would not recommend this place and will not return

Room was clean but oddly setup. Staff was pretty non-chalant. Visible mold all over in the pool room appears to have been a roof leak.
Stay was difficult as there was some strange thumping and pounding in the piping that went on from 3am until we left. When using the toilet the thumping could be felt through the pipes.
Our room was close to the elevator and the dinging of the system came through the walls.

Although the hotel and our room seemed cleaned we were disturbed to find blood on the bedding that we did not notice when we came in late the night before. Unfortunately this is one of the only hotels in the area and they are always full. We will not be staying here again.

We were not greeted while checking in, nor was told about any amenities. Once we learned where to find the pool, no lights were on and there wasn’t anyone to be found. An incident happened with a guest directly across from my room and when I called the front desk the lady stated “well that’s a scary man, I’m not sure if I want to go down there” respectfully, I do not blame her however, it shouldn’t have taken me to tell the women that she needs to call the cops. It was 2 in the morning and it had went on long enough. I am from hours away from this location. I was there for business. Sadly, next time I will chose to commute before staying at this location again. Not very inviting.

The bedding was dingy and stained. The pool area was dirty. While sitting in the hot tub I looked up and the ceiling was blackened with large mold spots. I looked behind my head and there were ants crawling around. The used towels were laying around on the floor and there were no clean towels. The walls in the room were dirty and the smoke alarm battery door was hanging open didn’t have a battery inside. I would have gone to another hotel but I arrived late and was exhausted. The parking lot had garbage everywhere, the dumpster was open and there was a sketchy shed next to it. It looked like a homeless camp and I didn’t feel safe.

Service and cleanliness was great! Bed was a little hard for my taste and the climate control for the room was not accurate and took a lot of adjustments to get it right.

Hotel is fairly clean, check out was smooth! Breakfast was decent! Pool area needs some TLC the window trim is covered in mold! About 7:45 am my husband and I are laying in bed with the do not disturb door hanger on only to hear a beep and in walks a housekeeping man! I am NOT happy! Not only am I still there IN bed but it clearly says DO NOT DISTURB! I thought about staying here again until this incident!

I wish I would’ve taken some pictures or had smell vision to go with it. I don’t expect perfection nor am I a five star resort hotel type of person. I’ve traveled all over the world and stayed in many different places, but this was absolutely disgusting from dirt smears all over the walls, the smell in the room was beyond mildew or must the refrigerator reeked of rotten onions. The bathroom door didn’t fully close and was horribly dirty. The bedding had orange streaks of something all over it and the pillowcases when we came back from the concert the room was wet. The bed felt wet , our clothes in the suitcase were wet. We chose to leave at 11 o’clock at night and I ended up having to drive me and my son home. There was no chance I was ever going to sleep in that room or put my son through whatever we would be breathing in that made that room, wet and musty all night long and the pool was cloudy.

Nice property everything there was good except the temperature of the hot tub was not quite as warm as it should’ve been. Also a lack of towels in the pool area . Just making sure, but it’s the most important part of any hotel stay for me. A Nice, hot therapeutic hot tub is a selling point!

It was a nice stay. Everything was clean, the only thing I can say is the bed wasn’t the most comfortable but that’s me bc it was kind of firm. Anyone else may love it. The staff was very accommodating and nice. Thank you!

The best thing about this property is its proximity to Alpine Valley. The room we stayed in smelled of mildew and the bathroom needed a deep cleaning with attention to detail. There was coffee splattered on the bathroom door and wall when we arrived. People were continuously smoking at each exit of the building, which in turn made the lobby and hallway reek.

Made our family reunion most enjoyable.
We had 11 family members at the Baymont Inn for a Fourth of July reunion and all agreed it was a very pleasant 2-3 day stay. We found it clean, comfortable and quiet. There was plenty of free parking. The stay also included a nice breakfast consisting of warm breakfast sandwiches, cereal, HB eggs, yogurt, various juices, toast and bagels. There was a unique pancake machine which was not only fun to watch, but produced very good pancakes!

Loved this hotel! The area was quiet and remote from major traffic, but had a few restaurants sprinkled around nearby for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Was very clean and we wanted for nothing. They had a nice breakfast

Pool areas need some cleaning and clearing out cobwebs around corners and along bottoms of walls by hot tub. Pool water was cloudy. Room and bed were very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Like the pancake machine.

I have stayed at this property about 5 times since Sept '22. This last time, May '24, was a disappointment. The cleanliness, professionalism of staff, room quality, cleanliness of pool, and breakfast all have significantly gone downhill. This has been our go-to hotel for a family biannual trip, but this past trip will be our last and we will find a new hotel.

One thing to have politically tendentious TV playing discreetly somewhere in the lobby somewhere is one thing but big loud angry Fox TV blaring at you a few feet from your shoulder at the front desk is kind of offensive, regardless of one's political persuasion.

I didn’t like the shower. Floor was very slippery, shower door was not anchored and it felt very unsafe.

When me and my family arrived they couldn’t find my reservation. I booked a week in advance and had to wait 20 minutes to get my room. They had bad communication skills and didn’t state when my room would be ready. On top of that only one of the workers was actually working, assisting someone on the phone. While the other wasn’t doing anything and he could’ve been assisting me. Overall this is a bad stay; not very clean. The mini fridge was dirty, hair left in the shower, the pool was filthy with hair everywhere, it also smelled like cigarettes in the hallway. Also the side door was broken so anyone could get in. Not a very safe or family oriented place, as it stated it’d be.
