Our son enjoyed the pool. Motel is a very short walk to downtown bakery, coffee shop, and stores. Housekeeping only freshens rooms every other day now, if you are staying more than a day. So, you have to ask the front desk if you want towels, toilet paper, trash bags, etc. Front desk is reluctant to refill the hot water and coffee available for guests 24/7. But the breakfast is very nice.

I've stayed here several times and will say it is definitely the best hotel in the area. On this trip, my a/c was really not great. The thermostat was set at 63, fan on high, and it was not at all cool in the room. I asked about it at the desk and the associate did something on their system, which maybe cooled it off a degree (I had to borrow a fan from my friend who lives in the area). The hallway was easily 5 degrees cooler than my room. That is my only complaint. Otherwise, staff is great, breakfast options are quite nice and location is perfect.

We didn't have time to check out the pool so can't evaluate that. Only complaint is that there was no refrigerator or microwave in our room. I stayed there 3-17-25 for one night for work purposes. I left the next day and had accidentally left my laptop there. The staff had found it and when I called, they had it safe and sound. The general manager Jeff personally took it to the post office and mailed it to me. The whole time, he was comforting, assuring me he had it taken care of and he wouldn’t accept pay from me for delivery charges. He made a potential horrible experience a wonderful one and thanks to him and his staff, Hampton Inn has a customer for life! Jeff, you need to teach a class on customer service because you are indeed an expert at it! Thank you sir!

We lived everything about our room, breakfast and the very kind staff. However, we were disturbed by loud neighbors-not unruly, but they could be heard through the wall talking in medium loud conversation. We tried knocking to no avail, and hesitated to report it as we weren’t sure which room it was coming from. Wondering if a reminder of quiet hours could be given at checkout and the check in texts could be sent at 10pm reminding people of quiet hours.

Was put in the “dog” room that smelled like urine and wet dog. Room was also extremely loud. Didn’t sleep the first night. Asked to be moved to quiter room and was told management that I was lying. Manager then came to the room and heard the room. She transferred me to a room that was fight next to a train track. Got no sleep the second night. Both workers have no business working in customer service.

The dislikes of the hotel or minor and probably just personal opinion so I’m not going to address those.
Expedia however is a different story. When we got to our hotel room on July 4, they did not have our reservation for that night. Wen had originally made reservations for the nights of the fifth and sixth. About a month ago we updated our reservations to include the night at the fourth. Expedia $100 on probably just because it was a holiday so they were trying to charge us 250 some dollars for the night of the fourth. When we got there they didn’t have any reservations for us the night of 7/4/24. And it turns out as I previously stated they added $100 on for whatever reason. The clerk working in the front desk did have a room available and charged us $148 versus 250 something. I will be addressing my concerns with Expedia shortly. The stay at the hotel was fine I have no real concerns/complaints.

Wen had originally made reservations for the nights of the fifth and sixth. About a month ago we updated our reservations to include the night at the fourth. Expedia $100 on probably just because it was a holiday so they were trying to charge us 250 some dollars for the night of the fourth. When we got there they didn’t have any reservations for us the night of 7/4/24. And it turns out as I previously stated they added $100 on for whatever reason. The clerk working in the front desk did have a room available and charged us $148 versus 250 something. I will be addressing my concerns with Expedia shortly. The stay at the hotel was fine I have no real concerns/complaints.

This is a fairly new property, but it ia scaled down Hampton Inn. It's clean, but the rooms are very small and basic... no refrigerator, no frills, none of the things that make it feel like home. It definitely is better than the other options we saw online for this area. The small town of Burlington is quaint and the Hampton Inn is an easy walk to restaurants and the cute town. We are enjoying it.

We have stayed in this hotel several times, same room even. The lamp shade is broke, has been since we stayed the first time. The room could use a deep clean. Sweep Round the baseboards, clean bathroom shower doors and slides. Other then that room is comfortable and convenient.

The staff was nice but didn't bother to give us the WiFi password or tell us when breakfast started and ended. The rooms are lacking a refrigerator and a microwave so bring a cooler! The walls are thin so you hear your neighbors in the bathroom. AND, The Train! Who puts a hotel up against the train tracks? Obviously Hilton.

The staff member who I encountered at check in is the most negative, rude person to customers. I saw it as 4 people checked in. We all kept each other’s spirits up as the eye rolling and negative talk about Expedia, the pet policy - which I wasn’t even using and Hilton personnel in ivory towers who make policies was discussed. It was not appreciated and even when I gently said, “you have a very negative attitude tonight” it continued at the same pace.

I was very impressed with this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was amazing with many choices . I had stayed 2 nights at a more upscale hotel out of state prior to staying here , and this breakfast was far more superior than the other hotel… and very welcoming looking. It was clean and the shower had great water pressure. The only negative was the size of the room. It was a bit small and was tripping over my suitcase, but the room served its purpose. I would definitely stay again.
