We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night the waterpark was completely full of people which we expected. However we were disappointed that not a single chair or table was available for us to set our towels on due to the amount of people in the park.

Alcohol prices are very high and I cannot recommend drinking at this location.

Our hotel room (2 bedroom suite) was excellent. It had a gas fireplace which was fantastic to sit by as we watched it snow out from the window. There is a Walmart less than a mile from the hotel that we took advantage of during our stay.

Security was awesome when helping us out with a few questions we had. All around a great stay my kiddos loved it and the best part my daughter got to see the horses out on her birthday. Best birthday yet and they were kind enough to leave my daughter a goodie bag with her favorites cookies can’t Waite to come back… 10/10 RECOMMEND!!

Great facility beautiful areas but the cleanliness of the rooms was horrible drains, showers and the showers heads just nasty. For as much as we paid for one night I was so disappointed with the way the hotel is being maintained especially in the rooms.

Great trip overall. The rooms were perfect and the staff was outstanding friendly, helpful, and attentive. The only downside was that the resort felt crowded at times and there weren’t enough pool floats. Still a very enjoyable stay and we’d return.

Despite the fact that hotel. Com did not state that the condo did not have an oven!! Very upsetting.
The staff was very accommodating each time we asked for items that were missing from the room. We had to ask for silverware, bowls/dishes and dishwashing soap. We didn’t realize the offered hand soap and lotion for the bathrooms until we saw it on a the cart then asked to have some.

Nice time, we came with two 12-year-olds and 2 14-year-olds. They liked the arcade, the mini bowling, and the water park. We have been coming here since they were younger and always enjoyed our stay. This time, it was good, but we had a couple bumps. Our room was not ready when we got there. We were informed the room was ready but a supervisor needed to check it before we got in. OK, not a big deal. We get in the room and it smelled amazing, you could tell it was just cleaned. Had to call down to the front desk, there was no actual blanket on any of the beds, we were in the two bedroom. They only had sheets. They also only had half a roll of paper towels and three forks. Front desk brought it all up. It seems like the supplies were much less than when we were even there a couple years ago. There was only one pan, the soap bottle was half empty, no extra paper towels, no cleaning supplies, last time we stayed, there was extra soap, extra sponges, and a spray bottle of multipurpose cleaner. There was also extra paper towels and multiple cookware items, however, this time, there was not. We also had a little issue at the Water Park. We went in and they were checking bags. We’re fine with that, we had reusable water bottles and then extra plastic bottles of water to fill them back up with which we were told was allowed. However, the girl working that day said we were not allowed to bring in flavored water. Had to go back up to the fourth floor to bring it to our room.

Check-in supposed to be at 4:00pm got there 4:05pm to check in and my room was not ready yet, receptionist told me I should receive a text message when the room is ready and that message never was received after waiting for 30min in the lobby with 2 kids and all my bags I had to go to the desk again to ask if the room was ready, she took another 10 min just to find out if room was ready. Please respect times as guest respects your policy if you it says check in is at 4pm it should be at 4pm.

We were glad we arrived to check in early because when 4:00 pm rolled around, the line to check in was 3 times longer. If they could staff check in more effectively I'd have no notes!

Firstly check in took 50 minutes. The room blinds were broken, there was mold surrounding the window also there was hair in the bath tub. People were playing and beating on the door all night and screaming in the hallway. The lifeguards neglected actual emergencies (my friend saved a baby in the lazy river) but some how they had the nerve to call me out for thinking my daughter was 6 and under in the outdoor jacuzzi and when I let them know she was indeed 7 they accused me of lying. Just overall a bad experience.

Check in was an DISASTER. We waited in a line of 30-40 people for over an hour to check in. Our room size and amenities were fine. The light switch for the light and exhaust fan in our bathroom would not turn off, there was a freezing cold draft from outside (it was 3 degrees) in our room because of the gap where the seal had deteriorated around the AC/heat unit on the wall, and when we arrived, there was garbage on the floor in the bathroom and bedroom. Friends that traveled with us found garbage on the floor in their rooms as well. The water park was great, other than one very grouchy lifeguard who felt the need to blow his whistle every 5 seconds over every single child breaking rules that only he (no other lifeguard blew their whistle) enforced. He made us (the paying customers) feel really uncomfortable like we were being monitored constantly, instead of them watching swimmers for safety. If you are management, he wears a navy shirt and a beanie poolside. He needs to be spoken to about how he treats guests.

We’ve been to Timber Ridge for 5 years straight and have never had this kind of experience. You can tell they are struggling with staffing.

Staff was courteous but we arrived at 3:50 for a 4:00 check in and had to wait 55 minutes. Really challenging with small kids after a long drive.
The room (2 bedroom countryside) was fine. There were many areas that needed to be cleaned and it felt kind of scummy. We were disappointed that our fireplace didn't work which the kids were super excited about. We contacted the front desk twice to no avail. We also had a bathroom fan that banged endlessly in the wind. We did get that taken care of.
All in, it's a lot of money a night and we expected it to be nicer.

Would have been nice if someone had suggested to get a reservation at the time we checked in as most local diners were closed that evening. The trolley ride to see holiday lights was c awesome. As usual, we had a wonderful time here. The water park is always clean, without long lines for the amenities. The price of things, however continues to increase year after year. This year we were floored when we were told that the yearly brunch with Santa, my children's favorite activity, had increased in price to $60 for adults, and $25 per child. We scrapped together the money, only to be blindsided when they added a 20% gratuity automatically, for our family of four! Unfortunately, we've almost been priced out of attending each year. Which is sad, because this has been our family tradition for over 6 years.

Sanitary. Dead bugs in window seal , shower curtain not clean. Water park area very unsanitary and um professional. I wanted to get my grandson a floater , the lady told me to look Around on the water park floor and find a used one , because people just take them off and leave them laying all over the water park area . I just shook my head . Very nasty and disgusting in the water park and the rooms need to be updated. Will very noisy place people upstairs from my room had a party all night long with loud music. Property had no control over the noise called called a lot of times to complain, but nothing happened was not even compensated to see if we could do anything about it..

We have been going to Timber Ridge for close to 20 years now. This year I was very disappointed on the facility. The pool was freezing , the hot tub had all sort of disgusting things floating in it. The table areas were not cleaned off, dirty dishes and food everywhere. Our room was very run down and dirty. The walls were all marked up and it literally looked like poop was flung into the ceiling in a few spots. We were very disappointed.

Our room was really clean for the most part and the people were very friendly, but the window screens in our room had holes in them, so there were bugs in our windows and a couple of flies in our room that we could not get rid of that were annoying. It didn’t seem that crowded, but there were no tubes to be able to go down the slide. They were all in use, so maybe they need more, but otherwise the rooms and hotel are great!
