The room was filthy but the real issue came during the final night. From midnight to 3 am, I was constantly disturbed by loud noises outside my room. There was consistent walking, heavy crashing sounds as if someone was dropping something, and to top it off, around 2 am, a staff member began shoveling snow right outside my window. I struggled to fall asleep which was frustrating due to an early flight the next day.
In the morning, I noticed the shoveling patterns in the parking lot were random, and the job seemed half-hearted, with snow moved in no particular direction, not even near the walkway. I called the front desk twice and even spoke to an employee in person at 1:30 am, but the situation didn’t improve.

This is a low frills hotel, priced well for the area. Complementary breakfast was sufficient and offered a good variety. There was coffee makings in the room, but no tea (even at breakfast), so bring your own. The room was clean, but the tub felt like it wasn't supported properly, and groaned under each of our less than 200lb selves. The biggest concern I had was the lack of an elevator to the second floor, although there are accessible rooms on the first floor. I didn't realize this until late in the game, and it did present some challenges for my husband. Housekeeping was cheerful and friendly-the desk person was polite. The online check in and checkout required timing decisions that I wasn't sure about, but I just defaulted to the published times for those since I wasn't sure how long we'd take. I would stay there again if we can arrange for an accessible or ground floor room.

Staff was fantastic. When I arrived, the young lady told me I would probably like the second floor better because it’s more quiet. She was correct. The whole staff was very polite. The room was spotless clean and the air smelled good. Hotel is located down the street from some excellent Italian restaurants in downtown Richmond, Illinois just a very nice day. In fact, it was so nice. I stayed an extra day.

It was such a short one night stay to attend a wedding. I was very happy with the price of the room. Employees were excessively friendly! The only thing is the bed was really uncomfortable and there were only three small pillows on the bed. Not even enough to fit the space at the headboard.

Check in was a bit confusing as I booked 1 king room through Expedia. I had the confirmation on my phone through the app and the hotel had me down for 2 rooms, 1-king and 1- handicap accessible. The app had the correct info of 1- king room. Rooms could use some updating.

It was fine for what it is. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Tiny tv with tape on the base, so we were careful with turning it. Friendly check-in, but i had to complete documents, id and credit card i already provided during the online check in process. Close to a few places to eat, but on a VERY busy road!!! Very good coffee at the breakfast area in the lobby. I didnt eat anything, though so cant comment. It was good, considering the price for a one night stay and looks like they are making improvements!

My first hotel room had old urine stains around the bathroom toilet. There was a fresh poop stain inside the toilet yuckkkk. There was no toilet tissue on the roll and clearly the floors had not been swept at all. Upon complaining and asking for a manager I learned there was no manager there or available but we were switched to another room that smelled so heavily with smoke(although they claim to be non smoking) that I had to open the window for fresh air to come into the room and purchase air fresheners to place around the room. I also found cigarettes ashes on one of the beds smh!! This was overall a poorly ran place and I will never stay here again!

The hotel is great. Hospitality and staff great. Room bed very comfortable. The only problem was the detail cleanliness in rooms. The sink under the rim vedy dirty. In the bathtub same thing under the edge of tub very dirty. The microwave was very dirty with old caked on burnt food. The pillows were very comfy. Overall great but the detailed cleaning needs a lot of work. Work out room consisted of two machines and a set of free weights. Not really a workout room. Business center is a computer set up across from lobby desk with standup desk access only no private room. Free wifi. Cable was good but not able to connect streaming even with your own sign in. Tv should be equipped with hulu box and a way to sign in to your own streaming account. I had to bring my own coffee maker. The one supplied is a 4 cup I think very small. The lobby does have an excellent coffee machine. It was very ood tasting. Breakfast was ok.. bagels were good three different kinds..came with butter, creamcheese and a toaster. Eggs were thawed out frozen eggs but had no taste, sausage links were good but greasy. Waffle maker worked well and tge waffles were good. Syrup was name brand and very good. There was also yogurt, hard boiled eggs, bananas, apples, and danishes and muffins by coffee machine. Equipment and area clean and well stocked. There is a juice machine wbich was maintained well. There is a washer and dryer if you need it. Vending machines with pop, snacks,, and some microwave dinners.

Price was ridiculous for that condition.

I will start off with the best thing about our stay... Kim at the front desk was the best!!! now about the room... as soon as we went in the room you could smell the dampness from the bath room as this was a handicap room the door handle was round and I think for Handicap room it should be flat to enter or exit the bathroom, now the carpet my wife spilled water and we cleaned it up using a towel and it was black!!! The tile floor needs to be grouted and find out way they are so slippery my wife slipped on the floor and smashed her head on the floor not good. we will not be going there again. room 113

Overall the hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. The facility overall could use updating but it was not unappealing. The shower on the other hand was a trickle, hard to rinse out hair. When we walked in our room smelled like cigarettes after we signed a waiver we cant smoke..lol..so the front desk didnt believe us so she had to go up to the room and smell..she said i dont smell anything and we r booked.....we said we r leaving so she doubled checked and found a room. We stayed and when we went out they sprayed some air freshner in our old room.....really......and when we got back from the night the lughts were out but no one tryed us to be comfortable...i understand it was mother nature but we sat in dark for hours.....then we tryed to sleep and bes and pillows were like cardboards.....never ever again....and btw..the women who was helping us confessed it did smell like smoke...and she was a smoker she told us....i cant believe she had to go to smell it too b4 a new room....!!!!!!!

This hotel was absolutely filthy. The smell in the room was so bad that i had to go buy candles, Febreeze and air fresheners. I killed so many spiders in this room. There were so many creepy ppl in the hallways..I didn't feel safe at all. WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN.
