I had a good stay overall this weekend. The hotel is in a very convenient location, the room was clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The property itself was nice and well-kept.

The only downside was the noise—both at night and early in the morning there was a lot of stomping and loud activity from other guests, which made it difficult to relax and sleep.

Overall, a positive experience, but the noise level could definitely be improved

The suite was nice but it wasn’t cleaned very well! Had a cherry pit on the floor; crackers on the floor; I found a dirty Q-tip in the bedroom on the side of the bed! How gross is that?? The refrigerator had water in the bottom of it underneath the drawer! I had to clean that up!
There was sand in the hot tub and ants crawling around the hot tub! I told the front desk about it and they did nothing! I also told the maintenance guy about the hot tub stuff and the refrigerator. He checked the refrigerator at least! Nobody else did anything!
I did pay enough for the rooms and I expect to walk in to a room/and a hot tub to be clean! Don’t you think? How would you feel?

The mirror had missing gems fall off on it and the pieces were just put in the vanity mirror. The bed sheet on the sofa bed had a big yellow stain on it. Outlets were loose so it was hard to plug in chargers. There were juice boxes left in the fridge from previous guests. Old sponge left for washing dishes and one packet of dishwasher soap. Dish soap looked like it was thinned out with water, and the bathroom dispensers were empty. That wasn't a big deal because at least one of us brought some. A lot of the place was patched up poorly, but overall the place did what it was intended to provide for the most part.

The rooms are a great size with everything you need. It's great walking distance to everything downtown. You can tell the property is a little older, but everything worked great and was cleaned well. I wish the bed was more confortable and it was less noisy, but overall i would recommend it

The hotel was amazing. We had a whole kitchen with fridge and stove and yes pots and pans! All utensils & the pool was absolutely clean all the time and they also had a jacuzzi area which I did not go in because the pool was perfect for swimming and the area is absolutely beautiful

We stayed here as a family. We've been several times. Mostly because of the kitchen.
My kids loved the pool, hot tub and then the jacuzzi in the room after. The staff was very accommodating. If we could offer our two cents, it would be to have noodles for little ones at the pool--so we wouldn't have to travel with them, and the arcade is a bit of a money grab, with very few games.

Great service. Only complaint would be on the pillows. They were too thick and they didn't have other sizes to spare, but hardly an issue and not something I would expect. It definitely will not stop me from returning. We enjoyed our stay!

Our stay at The Cove was wonderful. Hotel is within walking distance to the lake and lots of restaurants. We loved our suite, plenty of room for our group. Kids loved the loft and second bathroom. Kitchen was perfect for cooking. Fireplace was very cozy. Only complaints were that the loft seemed to be much warmer than the rest of the room. And the pool was cold.

The suite was so spacious and had so much room. Our tv wasn’t working and we had to have someone come up twice to fix it but there are 2 tvs so it was ok- not ideal. The workout facility is small - 4 people and it was so tight. Pool is large but in the busy season it is full. Location to walk is amazing and the views on the lake are gorgeous

The rooms were spacious and clean, but if you’re planning a break from the cold to enjoy a warm indoor pool, you may want to consider another option.

The pool is kept at 84°F, which isn’t ideal for kids. Our children were shivering and their lips even turned purple after a short time in the water. At first, we thought it might just be us, but every family who came into the pool area shared the same concern. The hot tub quickly filled up with kids because no one could stay comfortable in the pool for long.

This was especially disappointing since the main reason for our trip was to use the pool.

The rooms pictured on Expedia are deceiving. Our room was not updated as pictured. The room description stated furnishing would vary, but did not emphasize that it was not updated like the pictured room. The pictures also showed an oven, but there was no oven in our room.

The resort has no kids activities for kids.

I was impressed when I asked for 3 towels, they brought me 3 sets of towels with big, medium & even wash cloth sized. They offered to borrow a basketball for free & tennis rackets to use on the court outside. The room was so spacious & clean. The location is excellent--

We had an overnight stay at the Cove. I had booked the Bella Suite with loft which has two queen beds and a sofa sleeper. The room was nice. It met the needs of our time there.

The suites are owned by people who rent them out. The suite we had included 3 tvs. The tv, an LG, in the living room was very limited in what could be watched. It also did not allow us to connect our devices to it in order to watch Netflix or any other streaming service. Smart TVs can be purchased very reasonably and the owners should at least have a smart TV that allows people staying there to watch what they want.

The other issue is we had a small birthday party for our grandkids (6 and 8) in the room during a reasonable part of the early evening. They were running around a bit in the room but not being too loud. However, we received a phone call from the front desk indicating they received complaints about noise. Really? Our grandchildren are good kids. I have been at hotels where it was worse.

Only complaint would be that it’s a bit noisy/walls are thin, but that’s what you get during spring break/places with kids! :). We will be back it was wonderful

The picture of the room we rented showed a whirlpool and our roomed in room 348 did not have that but that's what was sold to us I don't complain I just don't go back also the fireplace kept shutting off after 1 minute blowing out so it was not working properly The room was very clean the staff was gracious but again I would not go back there because of the small issues

The room was very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. The attached restaurant was great and a highlight of the stay. As a whole it seemed like they were cutting corners on features that really matter, especially for families. The blackout curtains did a poor job blocking out the bright parking lots, the shower didn’t quite get hot, the indoor pool was closed, the bed wasn’t all that comfortable, and the Wi-Fi was pretty slow.

The indoor pool is a great size. Excellent for a winter stay. The hot tub is sizeable and hot.

The rooms are a good size. Even the studio was OK with 2 kids, there was at least enough separation from the main bed and the kitchen/sitting area that we weren’t in too of one another.

The attached restaurant is also pretty decent.

The Cove is also right in the heart of Lake Geneva, close to the Riviera and lakeshore.

Overall the stay was good. Rooms were clean and nicely furnished. There was a burst pipe when we were there 2 floors above. We had to move rooms in the evening which was not great. There was also no real acknowledgement of the disruption after we were moved.

There was too much chlorine in the hot tub and it bleached my bathing suit. Also i think they need to regulate how many kids are in the hot tub splashkng around while adults are in there relaxing. There was 10 to 15 kids splashing and jumping around in there irritating the adults. The lifeguard did nothing to regulste it. There was 15 to 20 people in there at all times. Only suppose to be 11.

Cons: literally everything else. Do not believe the pictures! Most rooms are outdated with dirty carpet and snow a lot of wear. Our forest room was an early checkout and want cleaned so they put us in a smaller room with no interest in moving us to the room size we booked. I had to pester them to get a decent room the evening of our last night after talking to the manager multiple times. In our last room, nothing stayed in the outlets and we had to use the lamp plugs to charge our devices. Location is great and Christmas decor was beautiful. I will skip this place next time.

The room was very nice especially the fire place. However, we had to sign several agreements to abide by the quiet hours from 10pm-8am. The rooms next door to us were yelling in the hallways and slamming doors. We called security twice and still no improvements. We got very little sleep and we were charged at $25 resort fee per night…..what for??
