Stayed during the winter with kids. Pool was a bit chilly but large with lots of toys and floats to use, provided by hotel. Game room was reasonable! Had dinner at the bar/restaurant. Burger with bacon jam was delish. Pork schnitzel was great but mashed potatoes were cold. Overall good meal, with beautiful views. Room was quaint and our deep bathtub with jets was an extra surprise. We enjoyed ourselves!

I have gone to Lake Lawn for many years with all of my family, the improvement in the design and decor are very nice and brighten up the lodge. However I’m not sure if they no longer employ any kind of security service,or some department to oversee disruption. This is a family lodge,and there were many, many kids there. Outside the pool area there were groups of people camped out eating and drinking beer and wine and hard liquor, totally inappropriate. I’m not a teatotaler,however , try and conceal your drink around children.
Children were left unattended throughout the lodge of all ages. Older kids bouncing basketballs throughout the halls, little kids with little scooters.
My husband found a little boy about 4yrs.old wondering the halls crying, he didn’t know where he was, or his last name or his room # so they walked to the pool to see if anyone recognized him, the game room, finally, no security to call they went to the restaurant/bar and finally the boy was familiar and there were his parents ,drinking!
Basically the it seemed like the whole lodge was a fraternity party.
I think the hotel should review some policies regarding its open areas for all guests. That’s why you have rooms,use those for your entertainment or the hotel I’m sure would prefer you use their restaurants.
The cleaning staff was excellent!

The room was updated, which not exactly what we were looking for. The white walls didn't feel warm or inviting. But the room was extremely clean, the front desk host was extremely helpful and caring, the pool area was well maintained and the temperature of the water was warm and extremely enjoyable. The resort has restaurants on the site. The Starbucks cafe is nice but to our surprise, they didn't except Starbucks gift card. Resort has a beautiful gift shop and game room. Overall we loved our stay, and we plan visit again!

This was a Mom and Son getaway for the weekend. Very much needed! We had so much just relaxing and talking, enjoying the quiet time, using the pool. He's a teenager and met some other teens and had a blast! It was really good for him. Very much needed for a little sibling separation. And I've been here before and loved it.

Kingbed. Very clean but small room with only 1 sitting chair. Reserved the room on expedia and did not pay for cancellation protection. When we arrived we were told that we had to pay extra $25/night Resort Fee b/c third party sites do not collect the fee.

Staff was friendly when they had to send someone with a \"special key\" to let us into our room since our key would not unlock the exterior door.

We brought our children to Lake Lawn for many years while they were young. They are now grown and we all thoroughly enjoyed returning to this place where special memories were made. Most of the resort has been refreshed and looks great. It is just as lovely and homey and comfortable as it was in the 90's and early 2000's.

When we first checked in, I had to call housekeeping right away because the toilet wasn't cleaned and there were dirty towels in the tub. The walls are thin enough to hear conversations in the next room and the air conditioner was quite loud and inconsistent. I didn't find the beds comfortable. The big highlights are the poolside rooms, view of the lake and nice staff.
