We live in Georgia and come in to visit our grandchildren in Lake Geneva every few months. The last few visits we have stayed here, It has become our home away from home when traveling here. The rooms are very clean and the property provides us with amenities for our children & grandchildren to come visit and enjoy much needed family time. Highly recommend if you're visiting Lake Geneva!

The upstairs neighbor stomped and ran around from 11pm-1am, last time I checked. We did text you and supposedly security came but the noise didn’t stop and when reported at check out, we were told sorry and want some free coffee. Are you serious. Last time we went they charged us for a spa visit no one booked so their “sorrys” don’t go very far.

The only bad thing was that the Grand Geneva Hotel makes sure to let you know that they are only there to check you in nothing else. We were there for three nights, and nobody ever came to take garbage or anything.

Unfortunately our stay never happened. After driving to the resort with 2 families, we went to check-in, only to find out that they didn't have a reservation for us, because they said Expedia did not create the reservation. Even though I had 5+ emails from Expedia with all of my reservation information and my itinerary number, etc. So we quickly had to find a different resort to accommodate us for the weekend. I will NEVER book through Expedia again!! Beware with booking through Expedia or any 3rd party booking services!!!

We stayed in the most reasonably priced room to get acces to moose mountain waterpark. Passes to moose mountain are an extra cost. I swear the listing said breakfast included, it was not. They expect you to take your trash to the dumpster at checkout. The room was hard to regulate temperature on the first floor. If the living area was comfortable, the bedroom was too warm. We even left doors open and turned on ceiling fans. The walls are paper thin. We could hear snoring in the room above us (there wasnt a room immediately next to us on that side). I could hear doors closing and walking in the room next to us. The shower didn't want to get warm either. There also was no vending or ice machines in our building.

Room Positives: nice view and the room was in clean shape. Enjoyed the artwork.

The waterpark was disappointing. I would say maximum age for enjoyment is 8yrs. There are only 2 big slides (1 tube, 1 body). There are not enough tubes, had long waits for tubes to do the tube slide (especially a double). The adult hot tub is pretty nice. The indoor/outdoor hot tub is always packed and people don't follow the over 6yrs old rule. The maximum age limit for kids to get enjoyment out of this park is 10yrs old. Even then, a half day is sufficient to get everything out of it. If you want a waterpark resort experience, you're better off going to great wolf in gurnee, IL or any indoor waterparks in wisconsin dells.

My room was very clean, which I appreciated. We booked a suite, but the first one opened directly into the bedroom, and being on the first floor, I didn’t feel comfortable with that layout. I requested a room change, and the staff handled it quickly and professionally, which I really appreciated.

One thing that was a bit confusing was the inconsistency between suites—some had a full kitchen while others only had a range top. It would be helpful to know that in advance when booking.

Overall, the stay was quiet and peaceful during the week, which was exactly what we wanted. When we arrived on Saturday afternoon, the atmosphere was completely different—lots of people, plenty of activity, and a lively environment.

The only real downside was that the room felt drafty. We ended up putting a towel under the door to help block the cold air.

Aside from those small issues, it was a comfortable stay with a good stay.

Be warned even though the main pic for this stay shows a waterpark, it is not included with this stay. The room was very nice and the hotel staff was lovely but our grandkids were very disappointed and we had to pay $30 per person/per day for a small waterpark that was is a separate location.

Everything was Wonderful. We went there for some peace and healing. I just lost my
Oldest d she died suddenly from a heart attack at 40 years old. She died September, 19 2025. Its veen very hard for us. Abba Yahweh has been with us every step of the way him His son Yahshua the Messiah.

Holiday Inn Club Vacation Hotel. Has been really great. It was clean and everything we needed was provided. The room was beautiful also the view. If we needed anything they were there in a few minutes. All the staff were kind, courteous and professional. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Thank you.

This hotel more than exceeded my expectations! I have officially claimed this as the hotel I will revisit each time I am in Lake Geneva. It felt like I was at home. It was spotless. Everything I needed was readily available. Perfect location. Perfect amount of space. Full kitchen. Washer and dryer and full sized refrigerator. I fell in love. For my next visit I will have to bring extra pots and pans but other than that I have no complaints. I am so in love!

Room was beautiful and clean, but our first room was infested with stink bugs. They did move us to a new room and gave us a $50 meal voucher, but the new room still had a bug issue as did the breezeway, just not as severe as the first room. Then as my wife was checking out the elevator stopped working. They sent an engineer over right away, but my wife was wary to get in because it kept stopping and getting stuck. When I called the resort, they made it seem that the problems were out fault as we checked out an hour late (we assumed it was an 11:00 am check out, yeah our mistake, but who's ever heard of a 10 am checkout) and there was nothing they could do beyond another breakfast voucher on our next trip up there because we had booked through Expedia.

I was attending a retreat at the Grand Geneva Resort, which was a 3 minute drive away. I could have walked about 20 minutes or requested shuttle service from my room to the meeting room at the resort, but I was glad to have a rental car. I enjoyed walking for exercise and fun around the spectacularly beautiful golf course.

If you are a swimmer, bring a cap and goggles because Grand Geneva has a very nice indoor lap pool. Vacation club guests have access to all resort amenities except for outdoor pools (everyone uses the outdoor pool closest to their room). I wish I had taken full advantage of the spa.

Everything was wonderful, especially the staff. The only minor issues were that the tea kettle was burnt on the inside and the garbage disposal was not working well. I was in room 536. I didn't give the property the highest score for eco-friendliness because there was no place to recycle.

We loved the location of the resort, off the path from the city for a peaceful stay but close enough to quick grab something if needed. The resort property was beautiful, although we didn’t get to try a lot of the amenities. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, coffee shop and the outdoor pool with the kids area. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Club section of the resort and weren’t impressed with the bed comfort (the mattress was very hard) and the pillows were too flat. Otherwise we loved our balcony overlooking the golf course and the rest of our stay and would consider staying again.

Room / beds were very acceptable. We had a big issue with the check in process. Had 4 rooms reserved over 3 days. During check in process we made a point to desk staff that 1 room wouldn't be used until the next day but would be for the other 2 nights.. In the meantime the desk resold the room to others. When our last party arrived for check in as it was described they would be they advise there was No room for them. After much discussion with the desk they did find another room for use but this all took about 1.5 hours to handle at aprox 12 midnight. There is No question that the desk people didn't properly note what was going with our reservation. Their only comment was\" not sure how this happened\"

The accommodations were more like a stylish one-bedroom apartment than a hotel room. Soaker tub off of the bedroom and spacious walk-in shower in the bathroom were wonderful. It’s possible to bring food from home and cook at the apartment if you’d like, but there are many restaurants nearby, too, and at the resort. Downtown Lake Geneva and Riviera Beach are about a 10-minute drive away. We also had access to the indoor pool at Grand Geneva Resort, which was large and enjoyable. We are very likely to return.

We pulled into the hotel at the stroke of midnight, weary from our journey only to find that the sofa bed in our suite was broken, leaving us without a proper place to rest. The following morning, we eagerly went down to the restaurant for breakfast, anticipating a delightful meal to start our day. However, to our shock, the server presented us with a bill exceeding $100 for our breakfast, despite our reservation clearly stating that all morning meals were included with our suite.

When we approached the manager to resolve this discrepancy, she coldly dismissed our concerns, claiming it was a scam and insisting we had never paid the breakfast fee. Frustrated and feeling unheard, we reached out to Expedia support, detailing our disheartening experience. They advised us to check out, promising a refund for the ordeal we had just endured.

Overall, our time at this hotel was marred by a complete lack of customer service, leaving us profoundly disappointed and wishing we had chosen a different place to stay.

The property is nice. However, we were frustrated because it was in the 90's with a heat advisory and our air conditioning worked poorly. It was 81 degrees in our room when we just arrived. It never did get below 75 degrees in the room. We got poor sleep both nights we were there and it wasn't even fun to be in the room. We contacted the front desk and someone did come look at it and said everything was running properly. I then emailed Holiday Inn about this experience and never got a response. The door to our room was also left propped open when we arrived so the room had gnats all over. Disappointed in the customer service as this could be a great place to stay! Nice property and lots to do around.

When we arrived at the hotel check in was 4:00 they didn't have our room ready till 6:30.
When we got ready to leave this morning the elevator was broke we had to carry our stuff down 4 floors. I call the office they said they would send some one to help. That never happened.
The rooms were nice. But they never brought clean towels,yesterday I caught house keeping,she gave me a couple for last night.

I would have expected slightly better from Holiday. Our building was #2 and it was old and smaller than what I was expecting. Our friends booked the same room type and their rooms were 2x the size. Our air conditioner would only go as low as 68°, the ceiling fan in our living room didn’t work and it was hard to get extra supplies as housekeeping either wouldn’t answer or when they did they wouldn’t leave of you weren’t there. The room was damp feeling also even though we left exhaust fan on. Our friends Rooms were not like this.
The pool area was great! Plenty of seating and tables. Very clean and always stocked with plenty of towels.
Overall the stay was ok however for the price I am not sure I would return based on my experience.

Anniversary Getaway

This was a surprise for my husband for his birthday and our 28th anniversary. As soon as we arrived, we knew this was going to be wonderful. The grounds are beautiful, the room was spacious with a kitchen and table. Living room had a nice couch, 2 sidearm chairs, cocktail table, TV, fireplace and a secretary. Bathroom was very spacious and clean with a generous size stand up shower.There was a washer/dryer in a closet. Then, there is a sink with vanity by the soaker tub. The king size bed was comfortable and led out to the balcony with a small table and 2 chairs. The pool area is clean with restrooms, towels, hot tub, snack shack.
We liked the property so much that we are going to book again for October with the family! Highly recommend!

Went for our 8th year anniversary which is coming up on the 24th of June was great time nice weather sat by the pool Saturday and Sunday. Only down fall was we were in villa 6 at the end of the hall in a handicap room and they were painting and power washing while we were there. We stayed in 2024 and had a villa that wasn’t that far down and wasn’t a in closed villa we I’ll be back in future probably not till at least 2028 but I’ll ask for villa 2 3 or 4 then I don’t want to be all the way on villa 6 to far from pool
