Room had an odor of stale cigarette smoke. Floors were cheap vinyl and noisy. Don’t usually complain but I like clean air!

I was only there for a very quick overnight on a fast cross country drive and I left super early in the morning, but the place seemed very well kept, the room was beautiful and comfortable, and the staff was all very pleasant and welcoming. Can’t ask for more.

Friendly family managers greeted us at check-in. We requested a first floor room and they verified the room was clean before giving us the keys. The king bed room was large with a comfortable chair, fridge and microwave. There were nice lounge areas and chairs outside for relaxing or smoking. The breakfast was a nice set up with a hot area, waffles, drinks and cold options like yogurt. This is the nicest Ft Dodge hotel that I’ve stayed at in this price range. We will stay here again.

Had an issue with payment; then issue with communication discussing and owner was so professional and respectful it was error they caught fixed and refunded before I noticed and was so good at helping and explaining to me! Clean! Nice rooms! Comfy beds! Must stay at!!’
Bobbi
The shower curtain did not close all the way and had mold on top corner of curtain. Checking in was not what I would consider attentive or polite. Limited breakfast.

Unexpected Gem!
I was traveling back from Aberdeen N.D. and needed a place to rest up before hitting the road again. I was delighted to find the hotel so clean and well kept. I wasn't expecting it since I was just looking for a place that was affordable for some rest. Bathroom was clean and there was a deep bathtub great for some relaxation after eight hours of driving. Hot breakfast in the morning with plenty of options. There is a pool, although I didn't get a chance to swim. Nice beds, cold AC. It was quiet while I was staying. I highly recommend

Room was very clean, shower, tub and sink were very clean and had very good water pressure. Walls looked like they were newly painted, carpet didn’t look worn or torn. Air conditioner worked great. Everything looked like it was well taken care of. Thanks for the cleanliness!
Samantha

Kayla
Breakfast wasn't very good and the hotel is right next to a truck stop.
Kaylee

Julie
Very new and clean hotel!! Nice staff
James
overall good. The toilet in our room needs some attention (it rocks a bit) but everything else was good.
Heather
Dissappointed the hot tub wasn't there anymore and the breakfast options, but everything else was fabulous!
Tim
Staff friendly and helpful. Room large and clean.
laurie
clean, quiet, comfortable. reservation made online and was easy on arrival
Alicia
Breakfast was ok and there was long dark hair on the bathroom floor. It was a place to lay our heads on our cross country move.
Verified traveler
Service was excellent.
Walter
Everything thing was fine. Friendly and efficient staff. This is no longer a Country Inn and Suites. It is now Harmony.
Jamie
Clean, quiet, comfortable! Easy check in and check out and the continental breakfast was good. Great stay!
Shelley
Quiet and homey
Paula
all in all not a bad place, me personally probably won't stay again. They really need to up date there room descriptions. the bed was very hard I came home so sore I could barly walk. I stayed for 5 days and half that time the pool was closed for repair. I stayed her so my grandkids could swim as there is not much else to do at this time of year in Fort Dodge.
Kristil
Clean and nice! Amenities were excellent!
Dennis

Good bargain
Nice property, clean and modern.

You could tell the hotel had a great team of workers. They were super friendly and accommodating. They always had a smile and you could tell that they worked well together and really did a great job doing there jobs. The shower was pretty good with the endless hot water and good water pressure. There are a few upgrades that are needed. New beds and pillows would be great! And new toilets would really be nice. Maybe a few more pictures. The breakfast was a good selection and having coffee made all day was awesome. The pool could have been warmer. And the price for our stay was great! All in all it was a great experience! Thank you!
Gaylen
Property staff was very friendly and the breakfast options were good. The hotel's Wi-Fi signal was bad.
Karen
the web site is not accurate
The morning gal was wonderful. She made sure we had breakfast before our early departure. The reason we booked this hotel was for the hot tub and the breakfast. After booking a non refundable night, we got an email saying there was not hot tub. Up date your pictures...you led us astray.
Andrew
Very clean and quiet
Douglas

The pool thermostat was not working? Maybe? Anyway, the pool water was cold.
Amanda
The staff was great, they are in middle of updating which is good. But the bed was very hard and hurt my back and the satellite tv didnt work. Kept going out.
sandra
The person that checked us in was not very friendly or helpful. The person that checked us out was very helpful! We would stay again.
Jill
the property was good. Check out, not so much, they double charged us for the room. Called the hotel that night an all day today, still havent called me back and still havent corrected to double payment.
Kimberly
Staff liked didnt like the noise
Andrea
As always the wait staff was friendly and informative. The room was clean, we were notified of the remodeling that is being done. The continental breakfast could use a refreshing but overall the stay was fine.
Mike
The staff was very accommodating, polite, friendly, and made you feel at ease. I asked about dining suggestions she gave some great referrals.
Was not happy to find out there was no longer a hot tub as advertised and that the pool was closed.

The property was conveniently located near shopping. Breakfast options were great. The only things we had trouble with were keycards malfunctioning by not opening our rooms, and the curtains to block out the light from the street was very obscure. We ended up sleeping with blaring lights coming through the window the first night because of the obsurity. So if you stay here. The curtains that shut are behind the sheer curtains packed tightly out of noticeable sight.
Daryn
Great Motel
Great place to stay.. with comfortable beds
Carolyn
The front desk staff were super friendly! Everything was clean and lovely!
Nikole
Bathroom was not clean. Gum on the floor and hair everywhere. AC sounds like a siren going off. Noise from upstairs was terrible
David
⭐⭐⭐⭐
Loved this little place! Very clean and comfortable! They had fresh coffee all day! 👏👏👏👏
Helen
Pool closed. Fitness equipment not working. General condition some disrepair.
Krystn
Everything was awesome!!
William
Smoke alarm went off when we tried to use the heat. They gave us a different room.

Country inn and suites is always dependable- clean, breakfast, etc.. but this property is aged.

Very pleased
The staff was very nice an accommodated a couple special requests. Place was clean. Enjoyed our breakfast. Would stay again
Verified traveler
Overall room and especially the bathroom lacked basic cleanliness. The pool was out of order for maintenance which caused us to shorten our stay and go elsewhere.
Ron
Great stay
Teresa
I had said I wanted to pay at hotel. They don’t except payment of cash. They had to run a card. Which they did not tell me til checkout and the card I had on for reserve is not the one I would have paid with. The pool area needs update. Other wise a good experience
Kevin
Dirty. Smelled like mildew. Puffy seat on toilet with rips and broken. Moved from side to side when on it.
I wouldn't take shower cause it was so dirty. Air conditioner would not shut off. No adjusting it. It just ran the whole time. Would never stay here again. Not worth the money at all.

Hotel is nice and staff is friendly. There was a mix up With my room but they upgraded me for free and were very apologetic.
Brittney
Not pleased
Very outdated, smelled like mildew, and the door keys had to be fixed 3 times. Hot tub is filled with cement and pool has ton of cracks in the bottom. Breakfast is cold items(cereal, muffins, bagels) plus a waffle machine. Front staff was really nice just unfortunate when you pay $150 for a room that is musty and outdated(carpet matted, no plugs available by bedside, and no bathroom vent)
Mary
Very friendly staff. Clean room. Nice breakfast. Convenient location.
Hot tub was shut down, so we were disappointed about that.

Dirty property, why no daily housekeeping service????? Waas told they only will do it every 5th day !!!! Banister on steps from 2nd floor wobbly (a liability) NO Elevator, dirty and OLD carpeting, had to walk down to main floor for ice (not good for seniors with issues), room not vacumned well. This hotel needs a total facelift!!!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND OR STAY HERE AGAIN.....NOT WORTH THE MONEY, AND THEY SHOULD REDUCE THEIR RATES FOR LACK OF DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES EACH DAY I PAY A ROOM RATE. A REAL RIPP OFF!!
Erin
It was fine
The woman at the front desk was friendly. Room was clean. Towels were clean but super worn out, to the point of being really thin. Breakfast offerings were just fine.
The exercise room they say they have...a working treadmill, that is it. Elliptical not plugged in, so almost useless, the only other \"TRX\" type thing was broken. No mats, weights, or anything else at all.

Great place. Seemed a little pricey
Janet
Staff was awesome. No elevator. Pool was out of service. Found litter in our room and toilet needed cleaning. Breakfast was pitiful.
trinida
Close to everything. The staff was friendly and the room was big. The other guest were friendly on more than one occasion someone offered to help carry my stuff. The breakfast was good. I liked the fireplace with the coffe stand when you walk into the entrance. I slept great.
Taylor
The staff was very friendly and happy. This makes a stressful day much less stressful when you are greeted with smiles and manners! The property was clean. The rooms were big. It fit out needs for the short time we were there.
Amanda
Absolutely no hot water in the bathroom. Both times I have stayed here.
Susan
Room 121
The room was clean, though the sheets didn't want to stay on the bed. The view was a fence.
Even after they tried to fix it, we kept having issues with the key card.
Staff was friendly & helpful.

Last power on Wednesday the 15th stayed the 16/17! Very friendly staff! I would recommend them to others to stay! Could use some updating since it is 20 years old but overall it was a great place to stay!
Heather
Very nice and clean. Quite rooms but centered perfectly in town. Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating.
Matthew
There were no USB charging ports available, there was a smoking area right next to the front door where I had to walk thru smoke each time I entered or exited the hotel, no elevator so me with bad knees trying to cart my heavy bags upstairs was a problem, there was a light in a plug I couldn’t turn off and there was a weird odor
Gigi
Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful.
Angela Dawn
Very nice staff
Melissa
It was really just a nice place to stay
Diane
