There was a beautiful park out front of the hotel. They had two restaurants that were very nice. There is a convenience store around the corner and plenty of restaurants within a ten minute walk, but you’ll need to cross a large street.

The hotel looks great in pictures, but once you step in there’s a horrible incense like scent everywhere. Upon checking in, I saw a lady coming out of the elevator with a sheer top and nothing underneath. The reins are pretty but the bathrooms seem like they should be at an erotic hotel. Windows from bathroom to bedroom, etc. The rooms are well furnished, but the hotel needs urgent remodeling. I wouldn’t stay here again. The staff were really friendly.

The hotel was empty for sitting in such demanding area. The restaurant was understaffed and couldn’t get service because the only 3 waiters were attending 1 table with a party of 15 people. The hotel promotes their rooftop bar, and we were told is closed because they didn’t have the capacity to attend the big party and the bar at the same time. The hotel is beautiful and receptionists very friendly. Restaurant and bar very disappointing

First the good - the property is located across the street from Chapultepec Park. You have to walk along a very busy street to get to an entrance, but once inside, walking in the park is wonderful. The walk to the various museums is about 30 minutes, or less.
Also good- the rooms are incredibly spacious. The decor is old fashioned English, not to my taste, but it was reasonably functional.
Now the not good:
The bed was super hard and I found it very uncomfortable.
The room seemed clean on first look, but there was a lot of dirt. The maid, put in some elbow grease at my request and was able to clean a sticky mess after I convinced her that it wasn't a flaw in the table finish.
The small rugs by the bed side were filthy.
There's not much going on in the nearby residential area. I ate in the hotel restaurant and wasn't impressed.
This hotel aspires to luxury, but it would take a lot to achieve that.
The awful: The beautiful king rooms with a view of the park were unbearably noisy due to the relentless traffic, including big noisy trucks. I changed to an interior room, which was quiet and has a view into an interior courtyard. Better than the noise!!

The location is perfect if are wanting to do the museums and monuments in the city center and it's also within easy walking distance of many quaint neighborhoods with lots of outdoor dining options. All in all a really nice and highly recommended hotel option for Mexico City.

The hotel room was spacious, clean, and featured the promised views of the Chapultepec Park, however it lacked a bit of coziness. This is probably a great rate for a family requiring a double queen bed. The room was literally 2x the size of my NYC 1 bedroom apartment. But if you're one or two, I would recommend staying closer to Roma Norte, and making a special trip to wander through the neighborhood.

There's no fridge or Nespresso maker, considering there's no lack of space, the basic amenities could be easily added. Cleaning service occurs later in the day then USA hotels, unfortunately interfering with our siesta. So the room was only cleaned once during our 4 day stay. The refresh was good when it happened.

The location is very close to Luis Barragán home and studio, Casa Ortega, the mentioned park. It's a 15 to 20 minute walk to Roma Norte as well as the other touristy districts.

Avoid if you can!!

I don't really write bad reviews for the sake of it! I do understand and respect the others here who have given great reviews for this hotel. But here is my experience:
1)Very unfriendly (bordering rude) staff - would not even help with luggage on check out (2 little kids & despite asking).
2)OLD worn out rooms - no microwave or coffee machine in the room. Ours was a suite!
3)Breakfast! - We opted for rooms with breakfast included. Children below 2 are charged as well, that's fine, but the moment we asked if there was something for the kids to eat, the first thing we were told was \"they'll have to pay\" :p - fine, we will pay kind sir!
Exercising our rights to PAID free breakfast was almost seen as annoying.
All in all, it was one of our worst travel stays!

It is an old fashioned boutique hotel across from Mexico City's central park. I was there 8 days and the hotel staff became my family, looking out for me as I was traveling alone and barely understand Spanish. Everyone was very kind. Recommendation: I would have liked a small refrigerator in my room.

Recently stayed for a business trip and found the hotel empty, I think within a week’s stay I came across 3 other guests. Very noisy rooms caused by the main road outside, I found the shower to be okay but it took a while to get warm, pressure was ok. The room sizes are large and have plenty of space.

Breakfast was very limited, A plate of fruit slices and a choice of eggs fried or scrambled, coffee on tap and juices.

In general the service was good, however being told by a waiter that you’re breakfast is free but my service isn’t was unexpected, I appreciate tips make up their salaries but there’s a better way to express that.

All in all an okay stay but I won’t be returning for a 2nd stay.

On the very edge of Condessa - not really walkable to Roma Norte. Very large, loud and busy road between the hotel and the park - bring earplugs. This is not a serene location. The exhaust fumes can be smelled through closed windows once the traffic starts.

Shower was terrible, only one of the many shower heads worked and it was barely a drizzle. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner. Quite dated but clean. They gave us lots of pillows so that was great.

We didn’t try the restaurant or any other facilities as the front desk person explained nothing about it to us.

The television was large and new.

We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of PROs and just a couple CONs. The good far outweighed the bad. Our room was wonderful, big, clean, comfortable. We had a suite and it overlooked the park. CON was the street noise. It is loud. We were so tired after days out we fell asleep anyway. Service in the bar and bartender Gustavo was fantastic! Raul was fantastic too! By chance we met the owner on New Years day and he was delightful. PRO The front desk clerk (Edwardo) that worked morning shift was wonderful, helpful, friendly. CON The late afternoon/night front desk clerk was lazy, not friendly and not helpful (didn’t get his name). He was the only bad staff member we had to interact with. Everyone else was great. The worst CON was the water in shower. It sometimes was cold. We read water pressure was bad in other reviews. We had no problem with water pressure, just getting hot showers was hit or miss. My husband thought he figured out how to place the shower head to get maximum heated water. I took a couple cold showers in our 7 day stay. Some days water was hot and fine. Lastly, the maids and maid service team were great. They accommodated our schedule and gave use bottled water whenever we asked. Great service there! Would recommend the hotel. Just be prepared for street noise and possibly a few cold showers and you’ll enjoy this place! We would stay here again!!

Beautiful, luxurious hotel. Huge rooms, top notch service. Noisy due to location on main road, but wonderful across from major park in MC. If you buy the Continental Breakfast, always ask for the “Fruta,” over the “jugo,” the fresh fruit plate is glorious. The menu breakfasts are plentiful and really well cooked.
The beds are harder than hell, so if you are older, or a tad arthritic, you are likely going to spend a lot of time tossing and turning all night. This is the age of Casper, Saatva, and more superior foam-based, reasonably-priced mattresses for this level of property to be so far behind, no matter the country.
Front Desk is English-certified. No worries there.
Be sure to give the Front Desk a CC FOR INCIDENTALS. They won’t necessarily ask for one if you have prepaid via Expedia, etc. that will allow you to put charges at the bar and restaurant on your account. Otherwise, it will be pay-as-you-go everywhere in the property.
This is a beautiful property, in a very safe neighborhood, across from MC’s “Central Park.” It shames the “majors” (Hilton, Hyatt, etc) in El Centro for pure class, and is little more than a $10-15 Uber from ANYWHERE in the city.
The hotel based driver/car is overpriced. But, if you are a newb, there is value to having a dude standing there with your name on it. The price: $100, one-way! Uber is available, but get your Google Translate tuned up. Use an Uber to go back to the APO…about $20.

Even more wonderful than the hotel itself are the loving, kind, helpful and delightful staff there. We were in Mexico City to visit a very sick family member in the hospital and we felt like the compassionate staff carried us through a very difficult time! This is a beautifully renovated space that has much to recommend it. The rooms are spacious and elegantly furnished, with huge bathrooms (double sink, stall shower and soaking bath), with tv's in the bedroom and bathroom (though there was no sound for CNN, the only English language station). The lobby is also elegant and beautifully done. The hotel is located across the street from a major park. The staff was unfailingly nice and helpful, and the day desk person was particularly helpful. The two hotel restaurants were fine and the breakfast was good. On the negative side, the location was a bit far from anywhere you might want to visit (nothing really walkable), although most places easily were accessed by Uber - there are very few restaurants or shops in walking distance. Apparently the subway goes under the property, and you can often feel the vibrations in the toilet area! The street in front of the hotel, which fronts on a central and lovely park, is quite busy, and the sounds from passing trucks can be a bit loud. I found the beds overly firm, but our friend liked it fine, so that is just an issue of taste; they have no feather pillows, only foam. If you stay at this hotel, throw in a nightlight and a multiple socket adapter as there are not a lot of outlets available in the room. In general, a very lovely place to stay, but not in a super-convenient neighborhood.

Green Park was wonderful! The hotel was beautifully appointed, elegant and clean, the staff was friendly and attentive. I would suggest that it would be helpful if the rooms had a mini fridge, access to ice and available irons. The restaurants were very nice and the food was very good. Also, in our room, the shower jet system did not work well making the water pressure too low for a comfortable shower. All in all we had a marvelous stay at the hotel and highly recommend it.

Incredible location with fabulous views of Chapultepec. Access to Chapultepec was also very easy, and that's one of the reasons we chose to stay at the Green Park. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious, well maintained, and had a luxurious bathroom. Its located on a busy street, but with closing the french doors minimized the noise--I slept well, and am sensitive to noise. There is an adjoining restaurant with dining in a lovely garden. Dining on the rooftop offered incredible views of the park.

Gave away my room, told me I was upgraded after the fact, reception made it seem like I was inconveniencing then after they rented my room without telling me and expected me to pay for upgrade, supposedly street view is a huge upgrade but they fail to tell you about all the loud traffic noice and expected me to repack and move at that moment.

Was asked for $3000 peso hold for incidentals, there’s no mini fridge in the room or anything to consume. Advised reception, answer was it’s for room service, tried to use room service, couldn’t find a directory or was able to reach reception/operator.
Phone in the room did not work, Terrance was always closed, same issue with phone, had to take elevator to lobby to ask for help, orders were incorrect half the time.

Overall worst experience at a Hotel, they are not the luxury or boutique hotel they pretend to be.

Some of the restaurants said they would be open until 11pm, but when we would show up, they were closed or about to close. Not sure why the staff would not update guests on such schedule changes. This happened at their sister property and the Mexican-themed restaurant on such property. The traffic noise on Constituyentes was significant, not sure why they don't fully seal the balcony doors to reduce the traffic noise.

What an incredible experience at a very affordable cost... Amazing hotel with matching service. Quick check in/out. Lots of restaurants and shops all around the hotel. The rooftop restaurant has beautiful views of the cathedral and a government building and the food was excellent. The area is bustling with activity and I was not concerned at all with my safety. I would definitely come back.

Some of the staffs do not speak English well. There is a bit challenge to comunicate with staffs. I was hard to call front desk as well, since one of the phone is actually not working in my room.

The first night, we stated in first floor room. It was very loud. I barely get any sleep, due to the traffice noise. The second night, we moved to a higher floor, and it was much better.

Our issue was that we scheduled massages (as listed in their hotel guide book in each room), and it turned out the person we spoke to hired outside contractors instead of going through their own spa. Which mean after the service, they asked us to pay DOUBLE the listed price and pay in cash on the spot (when we were told we could pay via CC). Ultimately, we had to run to the bank, but only paid what we saw listed and demanded the hotel pay the remaining amount as we were duped. The hotel manager seemed a little incompetent and kept muttering that it was someone else who booked the service.

Great little hotel with big scores across the boar

Great stop in Mexico across the street from The parque de Chapultepec. This place has great showers (with jets in a column). Very cozy and clean. The restaurant in the hotel is outstanding. The service was the very best you can expect, smiles, attentive, did I mention attentive 110%. We loved landing here after a day visiting pyramids. The area is a very quick ride. We took uber all over and it was 2$ basically to get to where you want to go...

Great Location, Beautiful View, Rude service!

I booked this hotel mainly because of the pictures. The view of the park was beautiful! The balcony was gorgeous! You can’t beat the location either. However I would not stay here again based solely on the attitude of the older gentleman behind the desk. He was not helpful, and to be quite honest came across snobbish. It got to the point where me and my BF did not even want to ask him a question. The valet, the cleaning and other service people were very nice.

Lovely hotel, front desk staff all very friendly and easy to communicate with. The bed was huge but very hard, and room service was hard to order because no one spoke English despite having an English menu in the room. Could also hear lots of road noise at night.

I enjoyed my stay at The Green Park Hotel. My room was spacious and comfortable and the staff was very helpful and kind at all times. My only disappointment was that I did not know when booking that there is a very busy street between the hotel and the park. The street is gridlocked during peak times so it was often hard to get taxis in and out of the hotel. Also if your room faces the park, you will be able to hear some of the traffic, but the windows are modern so the noise is not too bad. The location was ideal for visiting Castillo de Chapultepec and Anthropology Museums - within walking distance. All in all, a pleasant stay.

Ultra slow restaurant and noisy during one of our nights as it is a small hotel. Very clean but basic services, good location
