Room is spacious and clean. Comfortable bed. Was not a fan of the toilet and shower being in the same room as the bedroom.

Breakfast is very nice, good options both hot and cold. Staff are very nice and helpful. Food in the bar/bistro in the evening was excellent.

Up Hotel is a clean, modern hotel, located right near a lovely garden and steps away from some fun areas and great restaurants and cafes. We enjoyed our stay there for five nights during our first trip to Budapest. It was very accessible to public transportation and also the Hop-on Hop-off bus! :) We used the gym, which was small but adequate. And the staff was always very friendly and nice. Our room was clean and they prepared a king size bed so we were very comfortable. The only slight drawback is that we didn't love the bathroom layout - two 'stalls' (one for the shower, one for the toilet) and an open concept for the sink. Still, we loved it overall and are very happy we stayed here.

Shower screen faulty keep coming out of the runner could fall on person. Toilet bottom thick layer of yellow substance and stains on sofa. Very expensive bar menu.

Couldn’t ask for more from a hotel. Room was perfect (corner suite with terrace) comfortable and exceptionally clean, lovely toiletries, good stock of coffee, tea, water etc. The team very friendly and so very helpful and breakfasts were fabulous. Excellent location in a quieter area but within walking distance of all sights. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We traveled 2 adults and one teenager and stayed in a triple room. Everyone from reception to cleaning services to waiters , all staff were exceptional, kind , helpful and friendly. Room was specious , plenty of room to hang and store items/ x clothes . Water bottles , coffee , tea was a great plus. Beds were comfy and temp controlled. Breakfast was just delicious, fresh made, re plenished and varied a bit in the 3 days we were there. We walked everywhere , no public transportation needed. Plenty of dining options around. Absolutely loved it, definitely a place to stay in Budapest, and we will strongly recommended !

I would recommend not choosing the single rooms with balcony. The room is a bit claustrophobic and the a/c wasn’t working in the winter. They did offer me to change room and removed a room service charge for breakfast as a gesture of good will.

Hand down this is one of the best hotels I've been to! It's modern, unique, clean and comfortable. The room was spacious, cozy and clean. There's a beautiful park in front of the hotel, it's located in a great area around public transportation and excellent restaurants. It is a fabulous hotel with very friendly, welcoming, and helpful staff on the front desk and throughout, who went above and beyond to help us at all times. Upon check-in we were welcomed with a smile by Kate, who greeted us in English! This hotel is super clean throughout, and located in a very quiet neighborhood, just a short distance from the hustle and bustle of city centre. It is within walking distance to all public transit options. There's a little park across the street where one can sit and relax! The breakfast buffet is fantastic with great variety, and the food in the hotel bistro is delicious and the portions are huge! Our room was lovely, super clean, and very comfortable, with a small terrace for relaxing! A definite 10/10 on all counts.....thank you all for a very pleasant stay!

The hotel was really clean and tidy and the room was great.

The staff were friendly and the breakfast in the morning was fantastic.

Its in a quiet street about 5 minutes walk from lots of bars and restaurants, so in the perfect position if youre there for a night out or seeing the sights. The hop on/hop iff bus stop is about a 10 minute walk away which is great.

Moved me around several times, unfortunately be high class/flaunting disposition incoming intead oh helping but my iPhone and passwort in the swarm they chose first but came later. Frequent side-eye for wondering why so many in package got first dib, then told to shut up.

I like quiet hotels, but this ain’t it.

It was amazing here! The room was so clean, beds made and room straightened everyday. The breakfast was amazing so much choice, the staff are all so friendly. The hotel is also in such a good location only 15-20 minutes walk to places like the river, st stephans basillica, the city park, heros square and so many trams and buses to get about!

The Staff at the UP Hotel are phenomenal. They could not be friendlier or more helpful! This was true even before my husband became ill. Afterwards they went above and beyond. The manager has showed me how to get to the hospital, gone with me to interpret with hospital personnel who don’t speak English, made arrangements to extend my room. All the staff help in any way they can. They get a 10 out of 5.

I absolutely love love love this reasonably priced hotel. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with amazing assortments of coffees, croissants and various hot food. I am vegetarian and I never had an issue eating an I was there five days!

The location is ideal, staff are super friendly and I felt at really home here.

My only one big suggestion is my friend and I stayed for five days and had a premium room with a wonderful view.

But I highly recommend instead of making it very open concept, minimalist furnishing, it it needing one major essential item: a closed dresser to store your clothes like socks and underwear. Like my traveling friend says ‘ this place is definitely designed by a man who doesn’t understand the need for closed drawers.’

That was the only difference between making it feel like my home and a hotel. Are room looked like a shambles.

Loved the robes, slippers, soaps, fridge, the view and the incredible staff. Thank you. You will be my ‘go to’ hotel when I visit Budapest again!

Great hotel only 30 min walk to the zoo and bath

I only spent one night here as I was visiting the baths, but would have loved to stay longer. My room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was plentiful and the area walkable. I felt safe walking at night as a solo female as well. There was a special street fair the weekend I was there so it is possible the extra foot traffic gave me that sense of safety however.

Love our room that faces the park with a nice view of tree tops with floor to ceiling windows. Also loved that there is a small supermarket around the corner from the hotel. Very convenient shopping for sundries, etc. Also love the location near public transportation, shopping and restaurants. I had an issue with a hard mattress and the manager came to address the issue personally. A chamber maid was sent to put an extra layer of padding on the mattress to make it less hard. It worked perfectly.
