The water in the bathroom smelled like sewer. We did not want to shower nor use the water out of the faucet. Disappointing. We have stayed at the hotel many times but this was the first time we had this issue. We stayed in room 260. You might want to look into it.

Casa Monica was beautiful and in a perfect location. The staff was great and ver accomodating, it was clean and had a fun lobby. The only complaint that I have to give it 4 stars is because we paid for a king but ended up getting a queen. No biggie but it is a complaint. But never discussed with the staff, just lived with it for one night. Would definitely stay at Casa Monica again!

No one offered to handle our bag. We had to get them ourselves from transport to our room. And we had no heat in our room they had to bring up a portable space heater I mean after paying over $1600 per our hotel stay I find that pretty disappointed I would not stay there ever again.

Staff was wonderful. The hotel was VERY busy due to night of lights. The restaurant on site was disappointing for lunch- I am fairly certain the waitress forgot to put our order in and when the food came out nearly an hour later (a crab dip and a Caesar salad), it was marginal at best- she then dropped the check for us and never returned after 40 minutes. Definitely a product of how busy the hotel was, but wasn’t a great start to our stay. The room was clean but could use an update. I will say, you can’t beat the location! We loved being able to just walk downstairs and be right in the middle of everything.

The icing on the cake was that we waited 30 minutes to be sad then another 30 minutes and told that there were no more eggs and send on our way. Limited ingredients as well. Wasted our time in the morning breakfast opportunity.

Overall the hotel was nice and the people were very friendly. We received free water and champagne at arrival. The parking and resort fee are a bit steep at 69.00 for one night, especially since we the workout room is tiny, no refrigerator, etc. The one complaint is the maintenance of the bathroom. All of the shower faucet pieces were loose and felt as though they were going to come off the wall.

One of the coolest places we've stayed. Starbucks in Hotel on corner, full size. Beautiful architecture all around. Great food within walking distance. Hotel staff surprised us after dinner with champagne on ice, chocolate covered strawberries and card signed by everyone all from a quick passing convo where \"honeymoon\" was mentioned lol. Love it

The hotel is in a great location with lots of food and shopping within walking distance. All of the staff were lovely. The pool/gym could use some attention but were still fine. The shower handle in our room was a little wonky but again not a big deal. We didn’t eat at the restaurants but they looked busy. The valets were fast and super nice. They even told us about the golf club associated with the hotel and my husband and son played and loved it.
As a mom, traveling with my husband and two kids, what matters the most is the location, comfort for sleeping, safety, and if my kids have fun. The staff could not have been nicer to my 12 and 13 year children. They enjoyed the pool and had a great time.

The restaurant had wonderful service, great food and made some nice substitutions for me (non meat eater). We can’t wait to return and enjoy the spa.

The resort was very pretty. Inside a little outdated. Our room was quite a hike to get to every time you needed to go somewhere. Also ice machines were only on 2nd and 4th floors (we were on 3rd floor) and no signs where they were so had to search. No refrigerator in room. I swore when I booked it there was. We brought some food and wine that needed to be refrigerated. We were on the 3rd floor so had to go keep getting ice with the small ice bucket from room. However, the resort was located near a lot of shoppes and restaurants within walking distance which was a plus. We ate at two great restaurants one called The Catch and other one called River and Fort… both great restaurants. My husband smokes cigars so we found a cigar lounge and went two evenings in a row. Met Eric, he’s great. Been working there for 11 or so yrs. We also were able to pay for a trolley that took you around to all the attractions and historical sites. They ran every 15 mins. So you can get off and on. All the staff from Valet, check in, restaurant and housekeepers were all so pleasant and friendly and would go out of their way to get you what you needed or wanted. Rooms were over priced for sure but it was 4th of July weekend. We got there Saturday because it was my husband’s bday. The resort is beautiful overall. Little too big for my liking but very quiet and peaceful at night. Just ask for a room located near elevator and ice machine if you bring anything that’s needs to be cold

I would not recommend this hotel. It was nothing special for the price you pay for a room. There are other hotels in the area that are just as walkable and convenient but for far less money. There are really no amenities over and above what are provided at other facilities. There is no refrigerator. Rooms are average. In sum, it was an average hotel for an above-average price. Also, the cost of parking the vehicle was ridiculous!

Everything about our stay was first class. It was our anniversary. I pre-arranged flower, and champagne, delivery. It was in the room when we arrived. Guest services were polite, and efficient. The valet, and bellhop, service was excellent. Nearby restaurants, and attractiions, made visiting simple. We will stay here again.
