Exceptional hotel, with a great room and amazing location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bar area and coffee lounge are also a great place to chill and kill a little time between activites. I spent two night at this hotel would highly recommend.

About a 10 min walk from the main station and UBahn. The room was specious and good value for the price paid. Breakfast was also good value and there was plenty of choice. Staff friendly and efficient. The hotel is about a 20 min walk to the Old Town and Rhine vi the city centre. I would stay here again.

Disappointed for the price we paid.

It was during the Drupa EXPO where all prices get raised but still not great. Nearly €200 a night with breakfast for a double room and that got us two very small single beds, a very poor condition room, below average bathroom with lots of mould on the tiles and a dirty sink, faulty air con, thin walls where I could hear the toilets in the next room and generally very dated decor. This place needs an update if they’re going to charge this! Floors were spongey and poorly fitted, extractor fan also didn’t work in the bathroom. My colleague also had a very poor night in his room with the gutters dripping heavily outside their room all night.

Breakfast was OK with a fair spread and good quality although there are very limited hot options and the slowest toaster I’ve ever used.

Despite the negative points, the location was very good and there were plenty of food options nearby and a brilliant supermarket 50 meters away.

In short, this is not worth the money and there are likely far better options around the city if choices aren’t limited.

Super friendly staff. All hours of the day. Check-in was easy. The only thing I’d tweak was the layout of our room. We’re used to the European size of the rooms but we kept banging in to the bed coming from the bathroom. Could be user error too I suppose. :)

Quite a cheap stay and I can see why. Our room was tired looking and needed renovated. From the images advertised, we expected the room to be a lot nicer. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable and the door to our room led directly onto the stairwell which made it extremely noisy and almost impossible to sleep. We heard every single person climbing up and down the stairs or getting in and out of the elevator. It was okay for a 3 night stay.

Great location

I’ll be honest and say I booked here by accident. However, it was a pleasant surprise. The room was incredibly quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable and I slept very well. The receptionists were all friendly and helpful. Location was great - nearby fantastic Edeka supermarket, coffee shops, bakery etc and ten minutes from the shopping centre. I didn’t go to the bar or restaurant in the hotel so cannot make any comments. It was a hotel and not pretending to be a cool, hipster hang out. And for the price - more than worth it.

Strongly recommend avoiding this hotel

I booked a room through online ahead of my stay. When my wife and I arrived, we were told they could not find my reservation and they didn’t have any rooms. After 20 minutes of waiting, the receptionist said she had found a room that we could stay in. Once we arrived at the room, I found that there wasn’t enough water pressure to shower. Informed the front desk before heading to dinner, and they assured me it would be fixed. After returning, the front desk verbally confirmed it had been fixed. Unfortunately, I checked again myself and found there was barely enough hot water to wash our hands. I reported this again the next day, and after they called me on the phone and instructed me to “turn the water on hot for 5 minutes” they agreed to give us a new room but not until that afternoon. When we were finally given a new room, we were surprised to find our that it was very different from our first room—properly upgraded with a nice bathroom and furniture as advertised in the photos online. As it turns out, the room we were given the first night (after they lost our reservation) was old and outdated. Due to their mismanagement with the reservation, they had given us a non functioning room and planned to charge us the same amount. Frustrated, I brought up these concerns with the management at the front desk and they brushed it off as a non-issue. I recommend avoiding this hotel.

For a so called 4 Star property, this hotel is not worth the money. Whole hotel is super dark and the DO NOT CLEAN YOUR ROOM DAILY nor provide fresh towels!! So disappointed when we came back to our room late at night and realized they didnt clean the room. Called reception and they confirmed they dont clean the rooms daily!! Ridiculous.

Great location for explore the city.

The hotel looks lovely and was clean. The service was left to be desired though. On return from the Christmas markets we asked the two staff at reception for a drink from the bar and we got shunned over to the bar where there was already 4/6 people drinking. Then when I asked for a pint of lager I got told the pump was broke. Alternatively I asked for a bottle and then got told “all of the fridges are broken but you can drink from your mini bar”. Whether the pump and fridges were broken or not the service was shocking.

NEVER AGAIN - Beware of Rooms 601 -603

I booked this hotel looking at its great reviews. When I entered it was dark and had to wait for 15 mins to get checked in. Once I finished check in the receptionist asked me to follow....

She took me outside of the building and after crossing two restaurants on the street, we reached a small entrance. The elevator is not working for quite sometime she explained and took us through dirty looking staircase to a room. Room was dark.

These three rooms are detached from property and NO direct access to restaurant, Bar or lobby. One has to go out to street to and walk cross 2 restaurants to access it. No different than going to a neighboring hotel. Not sure if its even LEGAL?

I asked for a change in room to main building but they didnt honor my request. And told its the same building and everything is pretty normal. Never had this experience in my life.

I saw another review exactly same problem.
\"Highly disappointing, travelled for work including arranging the rooms for the CEO of my company. We were \"upgraded\" to mini suites, which was no more than leaving the the main entrance to enter another a close by building via a fire security staircase. The room was big, but the first thing to greet me, was a outdated student looking Ikea bedsofa with stains all over the cover. Friendly stuff, but for the price we paid, certainly very overvalued facilities!!\"

10 mins walk from station. About 10-15 mins walk to the centre/old town. Comfy beds not convinced all the bedding was that clean though. Nice shower, staff helpful enough. Enjoyed Düsseldorf for a short break. Go to the old town by the river, and experience the nightlife. Christmas markets were good, if spread out a bit. Were surprised to discover shops still close on Sundays still!

Perfect location and great service1

Was able to receive a free upgrade. Early check-in was also possible as they had an empty room. Excellent and fast service! The location was also perfect- could walk to the Ko and the train station within a short time - 15 mins and 5 mins respectively. The only problem would be that since my room was facing the road, i could hear the traffic at night but it did not bother me much at all. Check out was a breeze!

Cozy hotel in the city. Can’t fault the facilities. Breakfast also is a great spread. Staff are not very approachable, would appreciate if they were a little more friendly and warm when they welcome guests and even when talking with them on the phone. The scaffolding at the entrance blocked the signage indicatiting where the hotel was and made it difficult to get out of a veichile. The entrance doors were so heavy to open, no one came to help open them when I was trying to carry 2 heavy suitcases both as I checked in and out. They just watched, which I found disappointing, having travelled a very long way.

The room I got was little and no space enough

Lobby is Ok with nice decoration and books. Walking distance to train station. The room was little and smaller than bigger comfort room I booked. The room was much more suitable for 1 person than for more people as booked for more. Not enough space in little room but other rooms are bigger. Price could be cheaper in little rooms if compared to bigger better rooms. One side of the hotel has yard and another side has a streetside.

Kudos for to receptionist who checked us in. She noticed that we had several large, heavy bags, and adjusted our room location so we didn't have to take the stairs. The breakfast staff was also very friendly and the food was great! Very nice hotel, and good location. Our second time staying here and look forward to coming back.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and on the first night we discovered that the door in our room does not block out much of the sound from the hallway. With the sound echoing through the staircase, it makes it really difficult to sleep at night.

On the first night, the guest in the room above our floor was talking so loud that I could hear her through our ceiling (around 2:00 am). The room service does a decent job, but did not refill our cotton pad, q-tips after the 1st night.

The room came double beds which was quite strange considering that I wasn't staying at a hostel. The hotel does have a nice lobby but after all, I'm not sleeping there.

Enjoyable stay at this hotel, lovely staff and nice room. My only complaint is that the \"double\" room was 2 single beds pushed together with seperate duvets. However, considering the location and close proximity to the town centre and the train station and the rest of the features in the room, I would probably return if I was in Düsseldorf again.

The hotel has a stylish look with artsy touches. My spacious room had a queen size bed and min fridge, with plenty of room for person items. The room was comfortable and quiet. WiFi worked great. The only negative for me was the placement of the shower hose in the tub.

The lobby is very hip and sexy but i can't say the same for the rooms... the room is quite small and the bed a little hard.

Front desk service staff are very friendly and helpful, and they help facilitated an early check-in at 9am in the morning which was great! But the room cleaning was very disappointing, the rubbish bin in the toilet was not cleared for the 3 days i stayed there and there was leftover water in the kettle for 3 days since checking in that i wondered was left from when... soap dispenser in the room doesnt work well, you need to be an professonal arm wrestler to get any soap out so i ended up buying my own soap and shampoo from the nearby supermarket. Shower room was quite badly designed, the whole floor gets wet once you shower.

overall, an okay hotel but not great. But compliments to all the front desk staff and bar tenders who are very friendly and helpful and they do make up for the otherwise not-so-comfy and not-so-clean room.
