We had a wonderful stay at Terra Nova Cabins. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location was great—just about 20 minutes from West Yellowstone, making it a convenient base for exploring the area.

We got a fairly last minute reservation at a great price after spending a day half day at Grand Teton National Park and another half at Yellowstone. It was the most affordable price we could find and was conveniently located to the park. We got in late and so just picked up an envelope to let ourselves in. It was late at night and others were sleeping, but it was hard to see in the dark. Still that's probably an appeal for most people. The room was comfortable even if the cleaner/fragrance smell was a little strong. I didn't read closely enough and there was no AC, but it was cool enough that it wasn't an issue with the running fan. Internet connectivity is limited and the hot water was shared with the neighboring unit, so it was limited, but didn't cause an issue for us. There were a few insects in the room, but with the remote location this wasn't unexpected nor was it a problem to squish a few spiders. It fit the bill for what we needed.

We didn't get to stay. The AC unit didn't work. It is so dusty there we didn't want to sleep with the sliding door open. the grass was really high too. There wasn't another unit available.

We really liked the location and the cabin was really nice. The website made it look like the property was next to the lake but there was a road in between. The other small issue is that it distinctly stated there was a coffee pot in the room but we didn’t find one. The store was very nice and pretty well stocked and it was a pleasure talking with people who ran the place.

The property is very clean and well-maintained and the staff is very friendly (stop into the convenience store on-site for complimentary coffee and a chat). Be aware that it's a 15-20 minute drive from West Yellowstone proper and the park entrance but in our opinion it's well worth it for the scenery and quiet.

The property was beautiful. It was fun to be right across from the lake. The cabin was nice and had everything you needed. It was quite a drive from West yellowstone, but beautiful, and we enjoyed driving up to earthquake lake the next day. Our only issue was that the walls between the 2 cabins were so thin, we could hear the family on the other side. They had a fussy baby and she woke up very early crying all morning. We had to turn the fan on in the bathroom for white noise so we could sleep. We would stay here again just for the views. There are no store or restaurants anywhere near the property but, nice, quiet, lovely and adequate.

The set up wasn’t great with the door right at the foot of one of the beds. The amenities were pretty basic for a place that feels like it should have more upscale features. Overall, it was a fine start for the price we paid, but it definitely wouldn’t be worth it had we paid more.

Terra Nova cabins are a great option for visiting Yellowstone. A short drive outside of West Yellowstone, the cabins have a beautiful lakefront setting. Very peaceful. Room was comfortable and i appreciated the fan. Check in was easy and the little store had a nice selection of snacks.

This was our 3rd stay at Terra Nova. We’ve always enjoyed our stays and the walk out deck. We were disappointed that 15A was one of few units that didn't have a deck. The real issue was upon entering the bathroom there were toilet paper wads stuck to the walls and ceiling. Pretty gross. These are cool cabins but our experience this time just didn’t meet our expectations.

Slightly awkward location with no real amenities around. Listing shows grill provided when actually has to be rented for $25 and so is misleading. Not great when the only means of eating hot food is by grilling (no other cooking facilities inside the cabin aside a microwave). Felt like a bit of a marketing con. Otherwise a good clean cabin but you need to be prepared for your stay.

Property as described. Neat and clean with a modern mountain flair. It sits across from a beautiful lake and backs to mountains. Perfect in-between for drives to Big Sky, West Yellowstone and beyond. We were definitely here off season, so the peace and quiet was perfect. All our communication was through the expedia site, and as everything went as planned we needed no other contact. There is a small market and restaurants near by, but the operate seasonally. Obviously a great place for fishing!
