Clean cabin with great views. Family owned property, staff is very friendly and accommodating. They also have gas on site & it’s almost $1 cheaper than getting gas in West Yellowstone!! That was a huge bonus. Will be booking this site for all of our future trips to Yellowstone!

Cabins were over 20 miles from West Yellowstone. When I booked, I searched for places to stay in West Yellowstone, not someplace so far away. Also, road into cabins was poorly plowed and as it got warmer and snow became slush it was an adventure getting to and from our cabin.

The set up wasn’t great with the door right at the foot of one of the beds. The amenities were pretty basic for a place that feels like it should have more upscale features. Overall, it was a fine start for the price we paid, but it definitely wouldn’t be worth it had we paid more.

The location was beautiful. The drive to and from the park was pretty quick. There was trash all over walking up to our door and the shower was a bit gross and needs to be re caulked and you could visually see dirt around the toilet. Over all we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Terra Nova cabins are a great option for visiting Yellowstone. A short drive outside of West Yellowstone, the cabins have a beautiful lakefront setting. Very peaceful. Room was comfortable and i appreciated the fan. Check in was easy and the little store had a nice selection of snacks.

This was a very nice place to stay. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and a view of the lake from across the road. Its also only 7 miles from Quake Lake which was a beautiful drive and historic place to visit. Would definatly stay again.

Lovely cabin with a view of the lake. Modern design with a spotless interior. It's about a 20-min drive to the town of West Yellowstone near the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park. But well worth the drive for the quiet, secluded surroundings. Would definitely stay here again.

Was ok for the price. No handrail on steps or porch. Overgrown weeds and thistles outside. Sink would not drain properly. Overall pretty good was hoping for a little nicer. Awesome view of lake and very nice staff. Shower with weak shower head on wrong side of glass door had to reach in through water to set temperature .

No AC or fans in the unit that we stayed in. It was so hot that we couldn’t sleep. There were no screens in the windows, so we couldn’t open the windows because of the bugs. I don’t understand why they don’t have air conditioning in all of the units or at least a fan.

This was our 3rd stay at Terra Nova. We’ve always enjoyed our stays and the walk out deck. We were disappointed that 15A was one of few units that didn't have a deck. The real issue was upon entering the bathroom there were toilet paper wads stuck to the walls and ceiling. Pretty gross. These are cool cabins but our experience this time just didn’t meet our expectations.

Slightly awkward location with no real amenities around. Listing shows grill provided when actually has to be rented for $25 and so is misleading. Not great when the only means of eating hot food is by grilling (no other cooking facilities inside the cabin aside a microwave). Felt like a bit of a marketing con. Otherwise a good clean cabin but you need to be prepared for your stay.

Cool concept. Small but clean and comfortable room in a pretty spot near the entrance to Yellowstone. We did damage our vehicle's bumper on the rocks surrounding the unit's parking area, as we arrived after dark and the area is not well lit at night.

Property as described. Neat and clean with a modern mountain flair. It sits across from a beautiful lake and backs to mountains. Perfect in-between for drives to Big Sky, West Yellowstone and beyond. We were definitely here off season, so the peace and quiet was perfect. All our communication was through the expedia site, and as everything went as planned we needed no other contact. There is a small market and restaurants near by, but the operate seasonally. Obviously a great place for fishing!

The room furnishings looked better in the photos - are were of the IKEA variety, pretty straightforward. Unfortunately, our room smelled STRONGLY of lemon disinfectant - which caused allergies and itching.

Loved the modern amenities, did not love the lack of a fan or way to circulate air with windows closed. It was cool enough for windows to be open but there was a wood fire nearby and the smoke was coming through our windows so we had to shut them. It was stuffy in the cabin, and we didn’t sleep too well. Beautiful place though!

The cabins are small but adorable and the setting is lovely. There is one problem in the summer, that could be easily solved by the owners. The cabins (at least ours) have no AC and need to be cooled by opening the one small window and opening the slider door to the porch, then using the large fan (provided) to draw in cool air. This is a totally manageable situation since the nights are cool. However, when another guest then lights a bonfire at 10 pm in the fire pit out back, the acrid smoke is then sucked into the cabin by the fan, especially if your slider door happens to point directly toward the fire pit. It seems unfair to allow one guest to unknowingly affect others this way - forcing them to breathe in smoky air all night - so I would suggest that the fire pit needs to go, for the health and enjoyment of all guests. Otherwise this was a lovely stay - coffee on the porch in the morning mountain quiet was an absolute joy.

The property is about 20 minutes from the park entrance. It’s a nice drive next to Earthquake lake.
The units are nice with nice views. I was very unsatisfied with the cleanliness of the room.
There was a stain on the sheets and I found lots of hairs on the sheets. The floor looked like it had never been cleaned. Won’t be coming back!

Obstructed view, very small \"cabin\"

We chose this place for our Yellowstone trip because of the beautiful mountain scenery, but were very disappointed to find that the view from the window/patio was completely blocked by a giant electrical panel (see photos). We had requested a mountain view (they say you can email to request) but instead we couldn't even see outside. A couple other cabins had views blocked by a shed. Very poorly planned property layout. This should be disclosed at time of reservation and these rooms should be a different price point. Management does not care and did not reply to our communication.

Aside from that, the room was nice but very small. After we brought in one small bag per person plus our cooler, we could barely walk in there. I hesitate to call it a cabin. It's really just a motel room, with the basic amenities you would find in a motel. The \"kitchen\" is a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, very minimal counter space. They don't come in for housekeeping, yet they don't provide a broom or anything to help you keep the place clean. We will not stay here again.

No hot water as hot water heaters are shared between rooms and are only 15 gallons so we had cold showers, the yard wasn’t mowed so you couldn’t access the patio table or the outdoor firepit and games, there is no air conditioning and it’s extremely hot during the day, the room had some dead roaches that weren’t cleaned up, and not all rooms have a porch or outdoor seating as portrayed in their listing.

This place was so cute! It was perfect for the 2 of us. It had a great view of the lake too. Everything was clean, and comfortable. Very comfy stay cabins. U got everything in this beautiful lake view rooms. The hot water is the best after when you sightseeing yellowstone all day long. It's kinda like a self check in & out style. Only a few people in this area, you can absolutely enjoy the vibe and quite environment.
