Avoid if you want a quiet place

The hotel itself and its facilities were decent, clean, good location, good price and near to the beach. However, our first night of our stay, the hotel decided to host live music, what normally is a nice entertainment. The music that began at 9 PM was so deafeningly loud that not only did the stuff in our room shake from the vibrations, but it also made it impossible for us to engage in any conversation or even watch a movie with professional-grade earphones on.
Despite our complaints and the obvious disturbance caused, the hotel staff seemed unprepared and utterly inept in handling the situation. There was no manager available to address our concerns, and the front desk was powerless to take any meaningful action. What was even more frustrating was that the music was supposed to end at 11 PM, but it continued blasting until 11:30 PM. It felt like an eternity for us.
We were assured that the manager would contact us the next morning to arrange for a quieter room. However, that promise was empty and remains unfulfilled. Growing tired of waiting for a resolution, I contacted the front desk once again and requested either a new room or a partial refund so that we could find accommodation elsewhere. To our dismay, not only did they decline to provide us with an alternative room, but they also flatly refused the request for a partial refund, even when contacted through hotels.com.
We were forced to endure a second night at this hotel and the noise was somewhat less intrusive.

We stayed from the 11th-16th August and had a great time! The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful, particularly the receptionist who worked most mornings. We felt very safe. The pool is great and usually had sun loungers available. The shop is cheap and has good options. We booked full board which is actually soft all inclusive (alcohol with meals but not at the bar, all food, snacks and soft drinks included). The food was great, a good selection for everyone even fussy eaters, we loved the pasta bar and pancakes. We arrived just before dinner finished and they rushed us in so we could eat before it closed, we left at 7pm and they allowed us to keep our all inclusive all day.
They have great excursions, definitely book the calypso lazy day cruise, only €55 for 6 hours on a boat with 4 swim stops in the bluest sea you’ve ever seen and lunch and fruit included. There’s a €10 transfer but it was fully booked so we got the bus just in front of the hotel for €1.80 each way, the timetable can change daily though so be sure to check.
Only negatives were that the cleaners (who do an amazing job! Even mopping the floors every other day) propped the door open while cleaning so there were a lot of bugs in the room, the bathroom just had a frosted shower door which didn’t block any sound so there was very little privacy and the emergency light by the door was really bright, it lit up the whole room and couldn’t be turned off. Overall totally worth it for a great holiday!

Perfect stay

Would highly recommend the suites with access to the semi-private pool. Room was comfortable and a good size. Very quick access to the beach. Lots of activities around the pool which were very entertaining to watch, and everyone who took party seemed to have a blast. Reception staff were friendly and very helpful with recommendations. Housekeeping was very thorough. Airport shuttle service prompt and very friendly. Overall an amazing stay.

Pleasant relaxed stay

Pleasant, relaxed hotel away from all the hustle and bustle. Beach is really close by 2/3mins walk, clearly signposted path. We had a pool view room which are probably the best rooms in the hotel as they don't have seaview rooms, room was modern and comfortable. A small kettle for coffee in the morning would have been nice. I chose the all inclusive option which was more expensive than full board and this part i think is mislabelled as everyone on full board was also entitled to the free beer and wine with dinner. Basics like coffee and tea by the pool should be free with all inclusive by the pool bar but this isn't the case and they only serve free soft drinks. Evening shows need improvement but hey cant have it all. Overall a pleasant stay wish i opted for full board for better value or even half board as we only went to lunch once exploring the island.

The food was not good for my taste, the show cook was not serving everyone, as it was closing earlier than the restaurant. The staff of cleanses was rude when we asked for more towels, and started to ask why we need more as we was there just for 1 night.

Great week away with the family.

Great stay at a location we really wouldn’t have thought about until this year. Close to the beach (although there are much better ones very close by) and with incredibly helpful and friendly staff. It is soft all inclusive so think of it as full board with free soft drinks. The food is what you need if you’re having a busy family holiday. It’s not gourmet stuff but they have high standards and it’s great value.
We had a week there and it was just what we needed. If you hire a car you can make the most of the area with plenty to do within 20minutes.
There is a great mix of nationalities and the pool is lovely. Support this hotel!

We liked absolutely everything. Great hotel and service for the price. Good public transport connection to all nearby towns ( bus every 1 hour and mostly in time, can be 5-10 min delay). Great food choice at restaurant and good service.
Two swimming pools - standard and for kids. Pool area very clean, free refreshing drinks in the pool bar.
Room service every day.
Beach just 5 min by walking.
We had to leave earlier to airport and we have been offered early breakfast at 6.30.
I highly recommend this hotel.

A Mixed Experience

We are a family of four and wanted some beach and pool time for the kids in the midst of a busy holiday. The hotel and area delivered on this. Pool was lovely, beach just a short walk. Local town (a small cab ride away) had great restaurants. It's just over the hill from Lindos, an interesting tourist spot, but much quieter and pleasant. We loved these aspects. However the service at the hotel wasn't great. The room was extremely basic - not even coffee or tea facilities. We asked for a room with a view and received an email saying that was booked, but when we arrived we were on the ground floor with no view, and there was nothing else available. They also advertised as having laundry facilities - they didn't - just an expensive laundry service. Food in their restaurant was pretty dire. It's passable for breakfast, but make the trip to the town if you want genuine quality Greek food. On the plus side it was really clean, and the grounds were well maintained. In all fairness it served its purpose as a beach and pool stop - the kids were happy. Just needs to improve on its customer service and food quality.

Hotel close to beach

We stayed for 8 days 3 adults and 2 children. We opted for the all inclusive option as we thought it would be easier with the 2 year old, especially being a walking distance to the beach. The \"All Inclusive\" title is deceiving; you get breakfast, lunch and dinner (alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are free at the restaurant while food is served). You have soft drinks from taps whenever you want and that is ALL that's inclusive. We had to pay for our tea/coffee, ice-cream etc. by the poolside. When we asked at the reception, as we thought there must be a mistake, we were told it's a 'all inclusive soft'. Therefore I don't feel it was value for money.

Otherwise, it is a small hotel that is close to a sandy beach with pebbes; clean and good for children. The grounds are kept clean and the staff are very friendly and work round the clock for the upkeep of the place. With the exception of no lift access to the restaurant the rest of the hotel is child friendly. They have animation/entertainment for children and families morning and afternoon by the pool and in the evening.

Well worth a visit

Stayed for 2 nights as a family group across 3 rooms. The rooms were all clean and appeared recently refurbished with good quality mattresses and showers. Each balcony had sliding fly screen enabling you to get some fresh air without letting the flies in. The pool area is clean with a bar which includes free soft drinks and plenty of entertainment including dancing lessons in the afternoon which were very popular. The evening entertainment in the bar varied dependant on taste but the bar was lively and welcoming and served late into the night with music and a friendly barman. Breakfast was included with our booking and was a buffet style breakfast on a lovely raised veradah with spectacular views across the mountains and sea. The sea is just a short walk away and the beach was being cleared of stones as we were there. The only down side was there is not much else close by however the beautiful village of Lardos is a short taxi ride away costing about €8. Definitely returning mainly due to all the staff who were so kind and friendly.

Very Average Quite Unfriendly Hotel

The hotel room was absolutely fine, however, we found the reception staff to be very unfriendly - surely your working day would be much nicer with a smile on your face and you never know, you may even receive one back. The lady in the shop was fabulous, also the cleaner smiled and said Good Morning too. The breakfast, albeit was titled complimentary, was not very good but at least something, once you fought your way through some very rude visitors - manners cost nothing but obviously this is not the fault of the hotel.

3 Stars is pushing it!!

Clean Hotel and modern rooms...could not really fault the room apart from the bed was very uncomfortable and the hotel staff pushing a heavy trolley past the room at 7 am every morning. Breakfast was included in price of room but would go as far to say it was inedible and a wholly unpleasant experience. English people are not catered for at this hotel. Animation staff (he was about 18) rude and pushy, called my wife lazy for not wanting to join in with daft water aerobics (she's 30, works 60 hours a week). We spent as little time here as possible, would only recommend if you are looking for 4 walls and a roof....think you could do better elsewhere to be honest. Avoid.

nice surprise!

We got our rooms for very low price so we expected something really basic. But we were very surprised, the hotel area was very tidy, nice garden and swimmingpool, the condition of the room much better than expected(not as we experienced before in other hotels on the island). The beach is close and nice, the animation programs also delighted our days. The food was usually very good, we always found something nice to eat although we found it a bit boring after some time. The staff was really friendly they gave a good atmosphere to the hotel. There were enough sunbeds at the swimming pool, we used the table tennis and pool table every day, we could serve soft drinks for ourselves 24h a day.

Nice Hotel, car hire a must if you want to explore

Great friendly hotel. Not many British people staying there but it was the start of the season when I visited.

Good food although not much choice but everyone was catered for.

Air conditioning in all rooms at no extra cost unlike other hotels nearby which seems a rip off as this is a must for a summer in Greece.

All in all a lovely friendly hotel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel is pretty basic and near sea. \n

The staff were very hospitable and helped as much as they could. Just a very short flat walk to the beach and there's a bus stop outside. The rooms are basic and need to be refurbished but a nice size and we were very comfortable with a nice balcony and constant hot water in en suite shower room. There was also a fridge which was a great bonus. The food was very good and we could sit and eat on the veranda overlooking the views of the countryside which was lovely. The hotel is in a rural and peaceful location. All round a very nice holiday and would definitely go again.

Prior to our arrival we where informed that 1 room out of the 2 booked would not be available for 1 night. We where advised that we would be moved to a neighbour hotel. On arrival this was also overbooked therefore we where moved to another hotel to far to walk to. The hotel did however provide us with a taxi and the Manager himself did collect us the next morning. We had booked all inclusive but where informed on arrival that only soft drinks are included. This is apparently in the small print on Expedia website. The soft drinks did not even apply to tea and coffee around the pool. On 2 occasions we had ants in the room, on one occasion we had to ask for towels as none where left. On a positive the food although a similar choice each evening was tasty.

great value for money

A basic but lovely hotel. Rooms and communal facilities were tidy and clean and all staff have been superb. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and we are planning to visit again.

A good value for money choice if you are looking for a quiet location, close to the beach and within easy reach of the beautiful Lindos and Pefkoi.

Suite à ma première venue 2 jours plus tot et l'excellente prestation que j'avais eu, je suis revenu.
Cette fois ci j'ai payé 50 euros la nuit en demi pension (10 euros de plus que la première fois) mais pour une chambre suite avec accès direct à la piscine. Ma chambre a été la 501 et quelle deception, une chambre infestée de moustique, non seulement il y avait des moustiques volant mais en plus des cadavres de moustiques écrasés sur les murs. Visiblement cela ne fait pas parti du process de nettoyage entre chaque client.
J'ai donc demandé le changement de chambre qui ne s'est pas fait sans mal et j'ai eu la chambre 304.
Cette chambre est plus modeste mais sans moustique. Elle n'est pas parfaite car le wifi y est inextistant et on entend la circulation de la route.
Pour 50 euros la demi pension (les buffets sont tops), ca reste un bon rapport qualite prix avec la chambre 304.

Chambre 104 au calme, propre, rien à redire.
Le buffet du soir est vraiment tres bien malgré un choix restreint.
Le buffet du petit déjeuner est tout à fait correct.
Il est est Facile de se garer devant l'hotel.
Pour ceux qui aiment ça, l'hotel organise des soirées à thème (karaoke,...).
Pour 40 euros la nuit en demi pension c'est un excellent choix.

Das Hotel ist empfehlenswert. Die nahe Hauptstraße ist am Abend und am Morgen recht laut. Zum Essen findet man immer was GUTES. Die Getränke sind genießbar, da wäre Luft nach oben. Garten und Pool sind schön angelegt. Zimmer sind schön. Der Kühlschrank ist recht laut. WLAN funktioniert gut. Preis und Leistung passt.

Tüm personel çok ilgiliydi. Animasyon ekibi çok çalışkandı. Yemek çeşidi yeterli ve çok lezzetliydi. İki sorun : odada Wi-Fi çekmiyordu ve otel yatağı çok konforsuzdu. Hareket ettikçe gıcırdadı. Bebek yatağı verilmedi.
Genel olarak çok memnun kaldım.

The funniest stay I’ve ever had

Great value: room was very functional, location close to the beach, good food (breakfast+dinner) and wonderfull staff. Special thanks to waiter who chased us due to missing belongings, Francisco for entertaining the kids and just being himself. We didn’t speak same language with the gardener, but gosh he was enertaining fellow too. Overall experience was fun and caring, never thought I could say this for 3-star resort, but we may come back.

We did not have any expectations before we came. Lardos bay is truly 3 star hotel and i mean it good way.
We stayed at familyroom. It was good and big enough for us.
Hotel area was nice and clean.
We had all inclusive package for two weeks. Of course we ate few times somewhere else.
There are quite many dishes on offer. Breakfest was the best.

After all i can recommed hotel to all.

Struttura con un'ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo situato in un punto strategico dell'isola.
A pochi km da Lindos ed esattamente a metà tra Rodi e Prassonoissi.
Ottimo per chi cerca relax e tranquillità.
Animazione presente ma mai invadente, personale gentile ma non lacchè.....non è la prima volta che vado e non sarà l'ultima ed ogni volta è un piacevole ritorno.
Il personale è per lo più italiano con clientela internazionale anche se buona parte italiana

Skvělá dovolená, skvělý personál. Čekali jsme od tří hvězdiček něco jiného a strašně nás to překvapilo na jaké úrovni hotel je. Kdyby bylo na nás, dali bychom mu hvězdičky čtyři. Moc jsme si to tam užili. Strava úplně v pořádku a nebylo nic, co by nám nechutnalo. Naopak, jak jsme dojedli z talíře poslední sousto, hned nám personál odnášel talíř a tím pádem jsem měli místo na další chod:-). Tak jak to fungovalo v restauraci, fungoval i celý hotel. Nikde nebyl žádný nepořádek a všechno bylo krásně uklizené. Animační program pro děti před spaním byl zábavný a úplně stačil na vyblbnutí. Autobusová zastávka je přímo u hotelu. Doporučuji, fakt super hotel.

Rummet med den privata poolen var fint. Samt stora poolen och hotellet med dess omgivning.
Snackbaren hade inget i matväg, inte ens en toast. Minimarket hade inte mycket heller. Väldigt liten affär. Hotellet ligger mitt ute i ingenstans. Frukost och middagsbuffén var nätt och jämt godkänd. Stranden väldigt stenig, krävs badskor. Vore det inte för det fina rummet och den privata poolen, så hade upplevelsen varit mindre bra.

Pěkné, klidné ubytování, nedaleko pláže. Čisto na pokojích, úklid každý druhý den. Velmi dobré snídaně i večeře, velký výběr, k polopenzi nealko, pivo, víno. Personál ochotný a vstřícný. Jediný problém je v dopravě, pokud chcete cestovat místními autobusy. Buď přijedou později, nebo vůbec.

Buona struttura in bella posizione

Buona struttura in una zona tranquilla di Rodi, consigliato alle famiglie. Premesso che non avevamo necessità di animazione, quella trovata è stata soft e per niente invadente. Le ragazze erano tutte molto carine e disponibili. Per il buffet niente di eccezionale ma comunque vario ed adeguato alle nostre necessità. La nostra stanza era a piano terra e mancavano stendini su cui stendere i teli e costumi, consiglierei di attrezzare le stanze in modo che si possano mettere ad asciugare i teli e costumi, siamo al mare!! Struttura consigliata per la posizione. Ci tornerei volentieri.

Camere moderne e confortevoli, ottimo servizio di pulizia, reception aperta 24h24,animazione per adulti e bambini coinvolgente e mai invadente...Marta la responsabile dell'animazione è top. Ristorante a buffet fornito ma poco vario, nel complesso buono per non essere in Italia.
Hotel dotato di minimarket interno, piscina, palestra e centro massaggi a pagamento. Spiaggia di ciottoli raggiungibile in pochi minuti, sia libera che attrezzata con lettini e ombrelloni a pagamento,non una delle più belle dell'isola ma il mare è comunque limpido e pulito! Premesso che a Lardos c'è davvero poco da vedere, è una location ottimale se si vuole girare, perché trovandosi al Centro della costa orientale rimane comodo raggiungere tutte le spiagge più belle dell'isola, Antony quinn bay, San Paul Bay, aghati, prassonissi e la meravigliosa cittadina di Lindos con la sua suggestiva acropolis. Ottimo servizio navetta con fermata proprio davanti all'hotel per chi vuole spostarsi senza affittare scooter o macchina. Comodissimo il servizio di noleggio proposto dall'hotel sia per auto che per scooter. Nel complesso consiglio questo hotel per coppie e famiglie, per chi cerca una vacanza tranquilla e vuole sentirsi in famiglia.

La cucina italiana buonissimaaaa.... Il cuoco italiano bravo e gentile, la pulizia ottima della struttura, tutto lo staff del LARDOSBAY braviiiiiii gentili disponibili, comoda per i mezzi fuori con i pullman che ti portano in giro per tutta l'isola!!!! Sono davvero soddisfatta la consiglio

Ho trascorso in questo hotel una settimana, tutto è stato abbastanza buono,
Dal cibo al confort delle camere.
Bisogna sempre tenere conto che è un hotel a 3 stelle e quindi non ci si può aspettare di trovare i servizi di un resort.
L’uniche due pecche sono state che si sentiva a volte odore di fogna e che la donna delle pulizie alle 8 di mattina era già fuori dalla
Nostra camera per ridarcela senza permetterci di dormire un pochino di più.
Nel complesso sono stata molto soddisfatta, soprattutto visto il prezzo super conveniente.

È stata una bella esperienza, ho avuto la sorpresa di incontrare Il personale italiano perché la gestione è italiana, la posizione del hotel è fantastica per chi vuole vedere isola, si trova vicino alla Baia Lindos che è una delle bijou dell’isola, la colazione e molto varia, l’hotel pulito, l’unico disguido è stata la posizione dell’aria condizionata che non era proprio la migliore. Per il resto tutto perfetto!

Ottima posizione della struttura. Animazione insufficiente anche se bilingue. Cucina soddisfacente ma poco varia, nota positiva per il cuoco dei primi Manuel, che malgrado materie prime non di prima scelta riesce a fare dei buoni piatti e sempre al dente.

Camere matrimoniali con lavandino vicino al letto e angolo della tazza senza porta non esiste proprio wifi era disponibile solo per 1 persona cambio lenzuola ogni 2 giorni e shampoo e bagnoschiuma lse finiva lo dovevi chiedere tu se no non lo cambiavano le note positive la struttura e il posto l,'isola di rodi e' bellissima e il personale dell'albergo tutti I ragazzi allegri e molto disponibili

Φαγητά πολύ καλά, Δωμάτια πολύ καθαρά. Ομως δεν έχει δωρεάν ιντερνετ και ούτε μηχανή καφέ για δωρεάν καφέ παρά μόνο αναψυκτικά . Δεν νομίζω ότι πρέπει να χρεώνουν για ιντερνετ. Η τηλεόραση έχει μόνο ιταλικά κανάλια. Καθόλου ελληνικά.

Das Zimmer war modern und gut ausgestattet. Der Service soweit gut. Das Essen war nicht sehr abwechslungsreich, dafür aber gut. Leider war das Frühstücken immer nur bis 9:30 Uhr möglich. 9:40 war das Buffet schon abgeräumt. Die Anlage war gut gepflegt, auch der Pool war sauber. Insgesamt ein nettes 3 Sterne Hotel.

Greit hotell til god pris

Greit hotell. Virket nytt, rent. Frokosten begrenset, lite frukt, men gode pannekaker. Vi brukte hotellet bare til å sove. God pris for det man fikke. En god del aktiviteter, en del musikk om kvelden, som kunne virke forstyrrende. Vi deltok ikke i aktiviteter, hotellet å være en \"resort\". Vi var ikke nede ved strandområdet. Noe støy fra veien, som var i \"bakkant\" av rommet vi hadde, men ikke stor plage.

Comodo e confortevole vicino a Lindos

Comodo albergo con prezzo onestissimo per quello che offre. Animazione non insistente (se anche vuoi passare una giornata senza stress a bordo piscina).
Ha una spiaggetta simpatica e tranquilla subito lì.
È a centro isola, ottima base se si vuole girare in auto tutta Rodi, nord o sud e rientrare in serata.
È a pochi km da Lindos in una zona di spiagge tranquille sia con ciottoli che con sabbia.
