Loved our stay. Everyone is super helpful. Staff was really nice, they had shows every night, great food with plenty of options. Easy to get reservations at the restaurants. Only thing is the club on site was a waste, only played EDM music. Be sure to go explore areas like Lindos and Rhodes town. It is kinda far but renting a car or taking a ferry is easy

Just left spending 6 nights. Our experience was not a 5 Star experience.
1) Room service 1 star. ( Had to call multiple times on getting our fridge stocked correctly) Also we had ants on the counter from not cleaning it properly and when we called, later on they sprayed and we saw the dead ants but they never cleaned that up on there daily cleaning of the room.
2) Entertainment 2 Star. ( We have been to many All inclusive and very disappointing for a 5 Star resort. During the days at the pool you get to hear 30 minutes of water aerobics, after that nothing.
Food 2star. Only 1 place to eat breakfast in the morning. Main buffet, plenty of food cold. No steaks, if you want lobster you have to pay 120 dollar per person. Snacks for room ( chips and peanut) not what I would call a 5 star resort. Our favorite thing to do was rent a boat for the day and visit some beautiful beaches because being at the resort was boring!!!!!!!!!

It's a really beautiful resort. Great pools, amazing restaurants and food, champagne bar, entertainment, great gym. The team is amazing. Service is really outstanding. Altzen - one of the drinks waiters - is so incredibly hard working. Chloe from the fitness and entertainments team is so effusive about the resort, and she made an effort every day to talk to and engage with guests.

We wouldn't normally go back to the same place but it is so fantastic we have been three times.

My daughter and I booked a last minute break to celebrate her a level results. Mayia was so much more than we expected. Immaculate, lovely room, incredibly welcoming and attentive service, food was genuinely excellent particularly the a la carts with inventive menus and quality produce. Beautiful pools, delicious cocktails, great spa. Not cheap but great value for what you get. We don’t often go back to places but we will definitely come back here.

I cannot fault this resort or its staff. It was spotless, every member of the team we encountered was so friendly and accommodating, they couldn’t do enough for us, the food was excellent and the facilities like the pools and spa were also excellent. It’s a beautiful hotel and I would highly recommend going. The surrounding town there wasn’t lots to do but there is a private bit of beach that has beds that belong to the hotel and a bar, and you can do water sports with several companies. You would have to travel a little to get to Lindos or further to the old town (more than an hour), however we didn’t feel the need to leave the resort to be honest as we had a swim up room, food and drink on tap and a lovely atmosphere. There was evening entertainment most nights which was great too. A very luxurious and beautiful hotel. As this was for my partners birthday and we were gifted a cake and wine in the room and upgraded which was such a lovely surprise. I can’t recommend them enough.

Lovely striking hotel in a lovely position on the coast. We had an excellent stay here. Hotel is spotlessly clean in all public areas and also the rooms are kept immaculately clean. Excellent service provided by all staff.
Food was really good- we ate in the Greek and Asian a la carte Restaurants on 2 evenings but were unable to book a table at the Italian due to no availability-visited for lunch one day instead. We also ate at the Street food and Beach bar as well as the main buffet. Food was excellent in all with a great choice and high standard.

We stayed in a bungalow garden view swim up room which was lovely- and having the pool outside our door really added to our enjoyment. The mini bar was always restocked.

My only dissatisfaction is in terms of sunbathing. As a bit of a sun worshipper who goes on holiday to relax and sunbathe this was an area of disappointment to me for such a lovely hotel. The swim up rooms include sunbeds however the sun is lost at approximately 2pm during our stay and the patio then in shadow. At this time we were happy to move to the main pool areas however on most days we were unable to get a sunbed as many were being saved early in the day by towels being put out by residents. Many of these beds were hardly used. The hotel management seem unable or unwilling to deal with this issue. They suggest speaking to the lifeguard however he was rarely in position in the afternoons and in our whole stay never took any action with this regard.

From the moment you walk into the foyer, you are warmly greeted by friendly faces and a welcome drink. Concierge take you and your bags to your room and the first walk around the hotel grounds are fantastic. The buildings are impressive, the whole place smells lovely and it just oozes luxury. The drinks are all labelled and plenty, the food choice at every meal is fantastic, a particular favourite was the Asian restaurant and the champagne bar is fantastic!
We had a garden view room with pool, the bed was huge and very comfortable, the mini bar was refreshed regularly and absolutely nothing was too much for the lovely staff.
We really did have an amazing holiday and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking to visit Rhodes

The Mayia Exclusive Resort was an outstanding experience! As beautiful as the property and breathtaking views are, the staff are the true stars. From the wait staff, cleaning crew, animation team, and spa providers, they all were phenomenal. Some favorites were Amir with his ever present smile making the pizzas and Val, the man of many accents and an imaginative wit. The young woman who made the juices in the Waterfront restaurant was also an absolute treasure. Our swim out junior suite was perfectly situated and offered premium amenities. The pastries and champagne was a nice touch upon our arrival celebrating our anniversary. We also met delightful people and made wonderful friends, that will hopefully last a lifetime.

This is the sort of place that sets a standard for what a 5* should be!
Make sure to make use of the Greek and Italian restaurants in the day time as they offer great choice and freshly prepared.
The food won’t disappoint.
As far as rooms go we stayed in a swim up room both times and it’s not a make or break by any stretch but is good to wake up to the sun on the swim up pool that is also heated for a quick dip before breakfast!
I couldnt recommend it enough. Done 5 days both times and both times have thoroughly enjoyed it.

I celebrated my birthday at Mayia Resort and it was absolutely fantastic! Right from our warm welcome by Dimitris, the amazing porter, to the exceptional care from Panagiotis, Tatiana, and Giannis, everything was perfect. The team went out of their way to make the stay special and memorable, filling it with personalized touches. The resort itself is stunning, but it was the staff's thoughtfulness and attention to detail that really made my birthday incredible. A huge thank you to the whole team for a truly delightful experience!

We had a great time at Mayia.
The major issue was the bookings for the restaurants. The three a la carte restaurants are all relatively small (but always with numerous tables empty!) but are tough to get a reservation in. We had two nights in the buffet restaurant (5/10) before securing reservations for the restaurants that were all 9/10 if not 10. Bookings only available two days before, at midnight. We happened to check in late, 23:55. So enquired to the reception and only a 630 slot was available. This didn't make sense. We found the secret was to find guest services the next day and sign up via WhatsApp. This was a disappointing start to the trip but from there, everything else was pretty much super.
Pools massive, no rush for beds, always something decent available.
We visited the spa, had a great Cretian massage.
We had a swim up room, which was wonderful.

Our stay at this exquisite 5-star, adults-only, all-inclusive resort was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and luxury, which set the tone for the perfect getaway.

The attention to detail at this resort is simply unmatched. From the elegant design of the rooms with the comfiest hotel bed we have slept in to the impeccable service throughout, everything was flawlessly executed. We were particularly impressed by the diligence and hospitality of the manager, George. He made it a point to ensure that every aspect of our stay was seamless, and his commitment to excellence was evident in every interaction.

A special mention also goes to Panos, whose welcoming and accommodating nature made us feel right at home. His genuine kindness and attentiveness truly elevated our experience. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, and he consistently went above and beyond to ensure our comfort.

One of the most charming surprises was the hotel's resident cat, Mayia and her friend we soon named ‘Spot’. Their presence added a unique and delightful touch to our stay. Seeing them each morning and evening was a highlight for animal lovers like ourselves.

My husband and I had an absolutely fantastic week staying at the Mayia Exclusive Resort & Spa. The staff at the resort made our experience even more wonderful. We’d like to give a special shout-out to the brilliant reception dream team, Tatiana, Christos & Apostolos Giannis, Guest Relations. They were super friendly, helpful, and accommodating—even after our numerous visits to the reception. We enjoyed chatting with them and appreciated their sense of humor. Not forgetting Bledi Dimistris the welcoming porter.

We’d like to express our gratitude to Renato & Ale, who tirelessly provided us with drinks despite working during the heatwave. Their smiles, jokes made the experience even better. We also want to thank Luigi and Yiannis for crafting lovely drinks at Senso Bar. Additionally, Fredian from the Greek restaurant was exceptionally attentive during our lunch, the waiters at the Italian restaurant, and Orge, the cart waiter, deserves our appreciation. The entire team at Mayia—the chefs, cleaners & waiters including the lovely ones at the Main restaurant— each and every staff we met contributed to a highly enjoyable stay. They are what makes Mayia the perfect getaway.

The hotel design & decor is beautiful done up. We enjoyed everything about it. Our first all inclusive and it did not disappoint. It was a wonderful stay. Overall, Mayia offers an unforgettable experience that combines luxury, relaxation & culinary delights.

After just under a month of getting back to reality I must say I apologise on the delay for the review I have been extremely busy.
The stay was absolutely sensational, we had the best time with such amazing and caring service by the entire staff anytime something was asked or needed to be sorted.
There were individual staff members who went above and round to assure our stay was amazing.
These members of staff were George the manager- so thoughtful so helpful so lovely and friendly anytime something was asked or needed
Krystos the other manager- again so lovely and friendly when a thing was needed
Yanice front worker- amazing service and care towards us even being helpful regarding places we could visit
Thersapos front worker- forgive me for the spelling if I got the spelling name wrong, he always had a smile on his face and just always made sure we laughed which was so lovely to notice
Viscliuis bar worker- made sure our drinks were always 20/10 with the best vibes bought at all times with everyone around
Christina bar worker- always asked if our drinks were okay or if we needed anything and was simply lovely

I was amazed by the service given overall and look forward to visiting back. Mayia is the best place to visit in Greece and I’ve travelled to Greece many times. I look forward to visiting this resort back

We had a great time at Mayia. The property itself is stunning, with an amazing view of the sea as soon as you enter the lobby. Food was great - we were surprised to find out there was no limit to the number of times we could book the a la carte restaurants. We also visited these restaurants for lunch most days too, although the buffet breakfast was good. Almost all rooms have a sea view and are spacious and comfortable. The gym was well equipped and never too busy. There were more than enough sun beds, so never a need to get up early to reserve one. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and it is difficult to fault the hotel at all.

Absolute fantastic modern hotel. Due to restrictions it felt a bit quiet but overall this is a beautiful hotel, food is amazing and great choices.
Staff are all fabulous and so helpful. A special shout out to Alex - F&B manager who so kindly went out of his way on more than one occasion and Erini at front desk who’s advice on where else to go proved invaluable!! I’m a fussy eater and was so spoilt for choice! Would definitely come back again!! A huge Thankyou to Mayia staff!!

Amazing but 164 Euro for a late check-out

An amazing resort but can't give it five stars as they charged us 164 euro for a late check out which leaves you feeling like a customer rather than a guest. There is so much good about this resort, it's simply stunning, the food is amazing, we generally prefer al a carte to buffet, but here we thought the buffet was amazing for lunch, breakfast and dinner. There are 3 a la carte restaurants to choose from all of which are included in the All Inclusive, as is the champagne bar.

There are 3 main bars too, our favourite was the Del Mar which has an amazing panoramic view of the resort and sea. Wifi was great too and we loved our swim up room. The problem with the room is that you only get sunlight for 1/2 the day so after lunch you need to relocate to the pool if you want to be in the sun. This is disappointing as we emailed ahead asking for a sunny room but they failed to mention this point.

Service is generally very good, but we did have to chase up to have the mini bar restocked (for water) a few times. The resort has it's own beach too and also a quirky street with a shop, cafe, ice cream/dessert place and a street food place.

I would highly recommend staying here but be wary about the sunlight in the swim up rooms and especially the late check out. Late check out until 1pm was free, but 3pm was 164 euro. All we wanted was access to a shower but they couldn't provide that due to covid which we understand but then they shouldn't charge that much for a late check out.

beautiful resort but major flaws

The hotel is beautiful but there are some major flaws which can’t really justify the 5 star rating.

They repeatedly ran out of bottles of water, sprite, coke etc round the pool durning the day. It’s not really what you expect after paying a high rate for a 5 star.
They are very short staffed too with one guy manning the entire pool area to serve drinks.
One day we ate lunch in the Italian, it was busy but not full and there was only one chef so everything was taking ages.
The food was great but they let it down by not offering any sauces, we asked for ketchup in the Greek with our chips and was told they don’t have it, despite the other restaurants offering it. In the Italian resultant with the pizzas it would have been nice to have a chilli oil or garlic mayo but they didn’t have anything, we even asked for ketchup and they said they didn’t have it, despite them serving it with bread a few nights before (totally odd!) why would I want ketchup with my bread but can’t get it for chips!

Having stayed at 5 star inclusives in Mexico this one simply dosnt live up to the standards. To run out of bottles of water and soft drinks days after you’ve opened your hotel is not good enough. The crazy thing is when we complained the manager said they did have enough stock but in fact they hadn’t replenished the stock in the bars! Simple things that would have changed our experience.

Dirty pool, dirty room and I suspect dirty sheets. The pool and jacuzzi was filthy and staff don’t know how to clean. I found as tissue left at the bottom of the pool from the last guest. They only took action after a complaint but the inconvenience ruined my experience.

My wife & I had a wonderfully relaxing few days here. Our room was perfect, the choice of food almost overwhelming and the facilities were excellent.

Although our say was towards the end of the season there were many other guests but the resort is so spacious there's no sense of being crowded or disturbed

We particularly enjoyed the daily classed put on by the gym team - the water fitness class in the main pool was a particularly fun highlight for us.

Stunning new hotel

Stunning new hotel, extremely comfortable, great food great bar and really friendly helpful staff

So many sunbeds never an issue even though hotel fully occupied. That's a real result

Just wish they washed up the bathroom glasses every day as well as the cups

Beautiful building. Large pool area although very cold. Food average to good. Negatives are no mattresses on sunloungers so not comfortable, spirits only available in the bar not in any restaurant, understaffed so long wait for drinks by the pool and in the buffet restaurant.
