Nice hotel. Lucky it wasnt peak season. The facilities are nice and the staff are very friendly. The food is varied and a decent selection for all pallets and diets. If youre gluten free chat to the chef and he'll go through what is available. The water in the swimming pools are very cold so be warned. But overall thoroughly enjoyable. The restaurants in the hotel have to be booked in advance which can be done on their app or at the entrance to the buffet restaurant at 10.30. Italian,asian,greek,mexican and a burger joint. The food is absolutely beautiful. A must for all .

A lovely looking hotel and grounds. The pool areas are very relaxing and the rooms are spacious and cool.
Staff were very polite and helpful, and a special shoutout to the bar staff, who worked very hard and gave service with a smile.

While we had a great time overall, there were a couple of things that let the hotel down. First of all, it was incredibly busy, and it didn't seem like the communal areas that had entertainment could seat anywhere close to the number of people who would have wanted to be there. This was also a problem at the bars in the evenings - there were often long lines for drinks, even with the bar staff working so hard.

My biggest problem was the a la carte restaraunts. They were very small and we had to book all of our meals in as soon as we arrived because they were already fully booked on some of the days we were there. Service in the restaraunts was very slow, and in our opinion the food was subpar and did not meet the standard we would expect from a 5 star hotel.

Overall, i would recommend this hotel if you are planning to have a relaxing place to enjoy the beach and pool, with a base for exploring the island further, or are planning to try the local cuisine outside of the hotel.
However i wouldn't recommend it if you are just planning to stay in the hotel the whole time. The food just isn't good enough and the communal areas just aren't set up to provide entertainment to guests during busy periods, unless you are happy to just sit and drink

The staff and management were quite unfriendly throughout our stay. The main buffet was the only dining option consistently available, and even that was below average in both quality and variety. The à la carte restaurants were supposedly fully booked from the moment we checked in, making it impossible to secure reservations.

What made the situation worse was that these restaurants were often half empty when we passed by. When we requested to be seated despite the empty tables, staff refused. We even spoke with the manager, showing him photos of the empty dining rooms, yet he still insisted that “it’s policy” and would not allow us to book or be seated—even though most reservations apparently don’t show up. This left us with no real dining choices, and the experience was incredibly frustrating.

The price we paid does not match the service that we received. We paid for all inclusive but ended up eating in the same buffet everyday. We were told the restaurants were fully booked and we should have reserved months in advance but there was nobody sitting in those restaurants. When we asked to speeck to the manager he was very rude and not accommodating. Rooms were small and below average for what we paid almost 1000$ a night. The resort is isolated and far from the happening areas and no convenient transportation beyond taxi or renting a car was available. We stayed for a week but we would have not stayed beyond 3 days given the limited options at this facility and bad management. Overall we don't recommend this \"all inclusive experience\" that lacks the true Greek experience. It is overpriced and lack the luxury experience that was advertised when we booked.

Gros problème à l’arrivée gâchant totalement l’arrivée en vacances. Sur place le personnel nous relogé dans un hôtel 4* éloigné et bien en dessous des prestations pour lesquelles nous venions. Plus jamais je ne ferai confiance au groupe Mitsis. J’invite les voyageurs à faire preuve de prudence et à éviter cet établissement qui pratique cela avec de nombreux vacanciers d’après certains membres de l’équipe mais également d’autres vacanciers qui ont subit le même sort pendant et après notre arrivée. Honteux je compte contacter les autorités compétentes désormais que cette pratique soit sanctionnée !

Could be a really great hotel. There were lots of positives but it felt like corners were being cut to save costs. Lots of reviews talk about the food. The buffet was fine good for kids, but could definitely be improved. The a la carte restaurants weren't amazing. Nice settings and service but the food was below average. The Mexican was really bad unfortunately. Another gripe was how complicated it was to get water - it's hot there and people need quick and easy access to water, not to queue behind lots of people waiting for cocktails and coffees to be made. Suggestion - out water refill points around the hotel. And not enough sunloungers. Quite annoying. But a beautiful setting, lots of good staff. But it really coild be better.

Excellent hotel, with fantastic staff. Buffet restaurant was okay, but the a la carte restaurants were fantastic.
Felt like it was lacking in evening entertainment, and could have benefited from additional seating areas rather than just the hotel lobby.
Parking was challenging as there are so many hire cars and tight spaces to navigate.
Overall though a few issues didn't spoil the holiday at all, and we'd definitely consider staying at a Mitsis resort again.

Very good hotel, we had an excellent stay, food was amazing, the buffet is a standard hotel buffet type food but they do change it up each night but the a la carte restuarnts for us were amazing, we had great service and great food. Portion sizes at the greek and italian were huge so we way over ordered, possibly could of done with a little more at the asian and mexican but the dishes we all had were superb. Only grumble on the food is that there isnt much for kids, they didnt do smaller portions of the main meals so seemed like a lot of waste to order a main for a child. However we did sometimes get them a starter instead of a main then went into the buffet restyarnt afterwards if they were wanted somthing else. They were never hungry!
The information and opening times of everything could be better, the creperie/ice cream place is advertised on the app to be open from 8.30 but doesnt open til 10, but there are no opening times at each bar/restaurant so unless you look on the app you dont know.
And it would be good to have a bar near the splash park with drinks and ice creams but other than that we had an amazing time and will go back.

Definitely not a 5*, they don't make it clear you can only visit each a la carte once if you're lucky enough to get space (there are only 4 open at dinner).

Some brilliant staff - at the Italian, George at the Greek, zeta at the bar but also some awfully rude - Agela I think her name was at reception who was h friendly and told us we \"should feel lucky\" we got 2 ALC bookings.

Very nice hotel. There was a slight smell outside our room and we could hear the a/c fans that were above us rattlinf. Outside of this it was brilliant. Glad to have gone outside of school holidays. Food was good, staff were lovely. The evening entertainment was good. Pool activities good too. Would recommend renting a car to get around.

It’s not a 5* hotel, it’s noisy, they’re catering to the MASS - don’t book - the hotel has 400 rooms at the main hotel (Mitsis Rodos Village) and another 400 rooms to the sister hotel across the street. It’s massive amount of people in the buffet queuing areas, pools are extremely busy, even though there is 2/3 pools each hotel, there is no space to breathe. Loud music going all the time by the pool and hotel rooms so you can’t escape it.

The restaurants referred to on the website, requires pre- booking, and they won’t give you a table more than 1 time per stay as it’s overbooked. They can only accommodate to 25 tables at most for each restaurant, for the size of the hotel, it’s way too immature and small.

Bar drinks are average, at a 5* I expect well trained staff to make cocktails properly, but NOT here, they use cheap local alcohol and it’s staff making drinks… which means NO mojitos & NO margaritas with salt around the glass.
Overall it’s doesn’t feel like a 5*. I go to Greece yearly, for the money I would recommend Eden Roch - way way better!

Room are not well insulated. Can hear people walking & talking from outside and above floor.

I wouldn’t go back. Very disappointed.

Good facilities including pools and many dining options. The room was lovely and the general facilities and setting are great. However - everything was slow and it felt like the staff were undertrained and understaffed,
Sometimes rude. Cleanliness was sometimes an issue at the burger and souvlaki restaurants, and drinks not cleaned up regularly around pool. Waiter service at the pool would be good. The room air con was weak and one fan didn’t work and wasn’t fixed despite raising it

As we were in a group we were blocked from the A La Carte bookings and they simply said sorry we cannot book you. So that seems like a waste of money and I would not recommend this hotel.

Outstanding hotel, with a diverse range of food, activities, facilities with something for everyone.
The staff were largely amazing and nothing was a problem, however waiting staff seemed to struggle at breakfast when it was peak time. Some looked quite harassed and unhappy and general cleanliness was impacted with food and milk spillages not being cleaned up as quickly or effectively as needed. It would be great if options such as decaf coffee and milk alternatives were readily available to ensure that staff were not pestered at a time when they were pushed to clear tables to minimise queues.
The gym, yoga and aquacise classes were great.
The a la cart options were delicious. An evening bar close to the Greek/italian restaurants would be great.
Beach was close by and easily accessible. Rooms were of a high standard and well stocked with lotions and shampoos and minibar.
Would have no hesitation in recommending Mitsis Rodas Village and particularly over the Maris in terms of space.

At 50 years old I have taken a lot of holidays and this is by far the worst. We have been here a week and our room has yet to have the floors mopped. They sweep but dont mop. Theres a giant cockroach under our sink dead thats been there the whole time we have been here The bathroom wall also has a splattered with dead mosquito. The extraction for steam is not working so you have to wait ages for the only mirror to demist if you need for make up etc. Food is cold and congealed and regularly we are sat at a dirty unprepared table. Waiting for drinks service at least 25 mins each time. Massively understaffed. Not enough sunbeds for the guests either. The hotel and rooms are beautiful however the service is shocking. The worst we ever experienced. Regular smells of sewerage too. If you need anything for example our safe keeps breaking we waited nearly 2 hours for assistance. The standard of drinks is very poor. Cocktails rubbish. No decaffe. Tiny glasses for your wine suitable size for a child. We have been bitten relentlessly both in the room and in the hotel grounds. Feral cats are allowed to roam the restaurant helping themselves to whatever they can find. Theres some ongoing work in the grounds but not too noisy. However the rooms are not soundproof and you hear everything around you especially other guests in the loud echo corridors. The reception smile and nod but are really not interested in your problems. This resort is massively understaffe

Worst experience ever for a 5 star hotel

Its my worst trip so far. The room allocated to me was fly infested and a bird nest right in front of our door with bird poop all over the front of our room and the birds flying over our heads as we entered and left the room which made me very uncomfortable.

I also had over 20 flies on the ceiling of the room.

I requested for a room swap but was told it was impossible.

This i did at about 3pm on friday and then 11pm. The first time i was told there wasnt any availability until the next day. Whan we got to the room later in the evening, i was accused of coming to later to complain so my room will have to be sprayed at past midnight after waiting for over an hour. Ibwas also offered a sister hotel at past midnight. Nothing was done until i brought out my phone to record.

I didn't get any audience until about 2am and didn't do to bed until about 4am when they offered me a room. Porter even mentioned that i will be moved again after 2 nights and i said no.

This is unacceptable and made my experience really unpleasant and was unsettled for the first 2 days.

This is a perfect hotel for solo travellers.
I would definitely visit again but in early summer as the majority of the excursions, bars and boat trips were shut as it was approaching off season.
This is definitely a 4* hotel (not 5* yet) I think the food in the main restaurant lets it down.

Pro's:
- Clean and tidy room and a lovely modern bathroom with daily house keeping.
- Beachfront hotel with multiple pools, lounge area's and daytime/evening activities for all ages.
- Excellent customer service from all staff *(Jeta, Andreas, Vasileios, Arland and Erion)*

Cons:
- Extremely difficult to get a booking at the A la Carte restaurants (I had to repeatedly speak to the restaurant management to get 1 on my final day).
- 1 hour taxi ride/2 hour bus ride to the main Old town/Airport

Oh I have so much to say about this hotel it's literally unreal. Firstly I would like to start with the only positive which was most staff was really nice really friendly smiley and helpful few from the Crepe place was really annoying as they take order and forget about you and loads of people come and go and your still waiting then when it finally comes cause you get up and tell them they forget your knife and fork then they forget your drink I was very angry that day for the service they provided. There is also a young girl who smiles at you and as soon as she walks away gives a dirty look she saw me looking when she kept doing it.
Next the rooms like its so bad that it was falling apart the sockets were coming off literally from the wall with our chargers. The toilet wouldn't flush there was ant infestation in the room everyday it was disgusting I found ant in the bed 3 times which made me itch all night. I called the front desk waited more then an hour no one showed then called again and told them i have been waitinf and not putting my son to sleep cause of them they came sprayed something which did not work. The hotek is not sound proof like I don't want to hear the couple upstairs having sex it was just disgusting and uncomfortable.
The pool was all around the hotel which is a journey from one to the other which was not nice. It took us literally 10min to get to the main area everyday for food. Pools are small for the amount of people they have.
The beach is not 2min

Not a 5 star hotel - 4 at best. Some areas were lovely - we had a nice, comfortable room etc. However, there are just not enough staff and those that are there are over worked (probably under paid) and not happy!

That said, Entertainment staff worked very hard and were very friendly - the staff seemed to be trying their best but let down by senior management!

It is a 20/30 minute queue for a drink at the bar in the evening. The A la carte restaurant are not fine dining but just the lunch time bars turned into areas to serve food prepared in the main kitchen.

That said, Rhodes was lovely and location of the hotel is good.

A nice hotel but not 5 star by any means. Reception area is lovely but that is about all.

Chlorine pool very noisy and dirty, salt pool has very very uncomfortable sun loungers and most are broken. You have to wake up at 6:30am to get a lounger for the day, not enough for the number of guests.

Restaurants must be pre-booked before going otherwise you’ll be lucky enough to eat at an al-la carte.

Some staff were lovely but the most we very moody and hardly smiled making it feel uncomfortable. We asked one how he was and his response was ‘I’m not good’.

Towel drop is in the basement under reception so it’s far to go daily to change the towels especially if your room is at the top of the resort.

Food was nice in the restaurants but the buffet was hit and miss.

The que for drinks was always long and drinks were not 5 star, more like 2 or 3 star. Cheap cheap alcohol.

Our room was clean but friends we met said they had ants in their room. Under the bed was very dusty and the cleaner didn’t make the bed properly everyday.

Overall an ok hotel with nice views but it does not deserve 5 star. Wouldn’t go back.

Overall, we had a nice stay at the hotel. We had the nicest room of the whole complex (Room 900) which was really great. It has a huge terrace with seaview.

There is a new and an old part of the hotel. The new part including the main pool is really nice and stylish. The old part is really not living up to the 5 stars. This part is like a hotel from the 90ies. We would habe been devastated if they had placed us in that building. That is really not 5 star.

The restaurants are all nice but all placed next to each other arround the two pools and a bit more ‘pool bar style’ than restaurants at least when you compare it to the pictures from the website. The food was very delicious though. Pizza on the beach, real espresso coffee, the creperie with freshly made pancakes and good cocktails were really some of the things that made it extra great.

You need to book tables at the restaurants before you arrive to get seats!

The buffet restaurant is very busy and noisy and has no atmosphere at all.

Not enough public space, bad cocktails

Pro’s: The service was brilliant and the staff were amazing, the rooms were spacious and modern.

Con’s: The food and drink is really not good, the cocktails were un drinkable I don’t know what they put in them but it’s one hell of a good way to stop you from getting your money’s worth out of the all inclusive. We ended up eating and drinking out more often because of it which isn’t really the point if you have all-inclusive food and drink.

The hotel was full whilst we were there and they are not prepared for it, there is about 300 sunbeds across all areas of the hotel for all 400 rooms, so even if there was only 1 person on each room, you still wouldn’t get a sunbed. At all times in the day it was very crowded there isn’t enough public space, if the hotel was at half capacity It would have been much more relaxing. Queuing in a line of 30 people at the bar was not my idea of fun.

The sunbeds are very old and most of them are broken, it looks like they are in the process of modernising the hotel, so half the hotel is very dated and the other half is much nicer.

If you like all inclusives, you’re not much of a cocktail drinker and you’re used to the chaos of a full hotel you may like it. But for me it was really sub-par compared to similar priced hotels we have stayed in recently

Overall I would say it was enjoyable and we would stay here again, but there were a few areas which could do with improving.

First and foremost was our room which had a pool. It was comfy, a nice size and a nice feel, but the pool light did not work and took nearly a week to be told this, so we were unable to enjoy this in the evening (if in room 550, beware). Also, guests, FYI - pools are all SALT WATER.

The specialty restaurants were amazing, serving very tasty and well presented food. The only frustrating point for me was that guests are required to book their tables online (excl. the main eating hall), which, having discovered this on arrival, I found the first week was fully booked. Cancellations are available via Concierge, but recommend this is changed to make it fairer as I feel sorry for those who only go for a week and can't get a booking. Even rationing to give everyone a chance to visit every restaurant per week and not just first come first serve - people are paying enough for the accommodation! (this approached works in Cuban hotels, so why not here?)

Night time entertainment. Although there is entertainment (which is okay), I noticed a lack of advertisement for these events, with the entertainers sometimes being selective of who they talk to when letting people know. Again, I feel for those who were never approached and made aware... just have a notice board or an online schedule!

Would I stay here again if I travelled to Rhodes? Yes.

We had a lovely holiday but there were a few things that could have made it better.
Could only get one booking in the restaurants during our whole stay, the top of our bath tap came off in our hand every time we turned it on, the fridge door didn’t close properly.
Also I did email the hotel twice to upgrade our room after I had booked but had no reply so never got our upgrade.

Great resort, highly recommend!

This is a fantastic resort in many ways. The rooms are modern, beautiful, and clean. The facilities are perfect. The beach is great, as is the pool. Coacktails at the bar are good, and use high quality alcohol.

Only two issues. The food at the Greek restaurant was quite poor, and the staff there very rude and unattentive. This was off set by the high quality of and options avalible at the buffet. If you want good greak food, wait for tge Friday at the buffet.

Second issue was with the front desk. It was a bit chaotic and unorgainsed. It gave me a poor first impression when checking in. Thankfully, everything else was so good, that impression faded fast.

I didn’t stay there, they didn’t open until 28th may so moved us to Mitsis Alila which was fantastic. Hotels.com confirmed twice that we were not moving hotels so I can only thank Mitsis Alila for helping us. We lost out on £120 due to paying for transfers to the wrong hotel.

Nice friendly staff through all areas. Evening entertainment was good especially the Latin dancers and Greek dancers. Special shout out to Jack Sparrow look alike for always having a smile on his face and making everyone feel included. The stay started off with a rocky start, our original room had a pretty bad ant infestation and the hotel desk refused to give us a different room until I spoke with a manager.

After being given a different room our experience was better and ant free.
The hotel has tasty food and lots of activities for the whole day.

Amazing Holiday

I just came back this morning after the most amazing holiday! The hotel is so beautiful and not
too far from the beach, lots of
steps but there are golf buggies that the concierge can bring you to and from the locations in the resort. There is also a shuttle bus that goes to and from the beach. I just want to thank all of the amazing staff at the hotel. I have never been so well looked after and have met some wonderful people and made some great friends. I especially want to thank Valeria in the Animation team. She is such a wonderful person and so much fun. Everyone should do her exercise classes! They are so fantastic! I also want to mention Willy, Momo, Jack and Laurena on the Animation team. You guys work so hard and a a great team! Our favourite cocktail shaker was Giannis he was fab! The guys on the beach bar were very funny. There is just so much to mention about this wonderful place. The food was delicious and so much choice. I had the best time ever and will definitely be returning next year to see all my new found friends ❤️❤️❤️❤️

the food was great and there was a lot of it all day long.
one thing i would seggest to improve is the availability of the resturants that requaires pre order, we almost couldn't try them because we came for 3 night and the resturants where reserved for the next three day's

Absolutely amazing hotel for the price great staff and great food ver welcoming and accomodating. Clean tidy hotel. All staff were exceptional and couldnt do enough for us, good selection of drinks and food. Bus stop outside which for approx 15 euros you can get a return to rodos. A specially thank you to marianthi who's waitressing was exceptional.

We stayed All Inclusive, food was excellent - great choice, different every day, lots of options in the main restaurant and other smaller restaurants.
Although this appears to be a huge hotel and was quite busy, nowhere felt really busy, always got a sunbed, rarely queued for anything.
Staff were lovely all spoke several langues in the main very fluently, particular mention to Jeta in the bar who was fabulous made me some amazing cocktails :-) , was really frindly (and professiona) and very knowledgeable about places to go.
2 different pools, we preferred the top level one even though there wasn't food available, was a little quiter and a much deeper pool so better for swimming .
The town is pretty quite - just a small number of bars and shops but was more than adequate for an evening stroll.
Room was lovely, nice and big, comfy bed and good balcony. Shower was a bit challenging, badly placed and did flood the bathroom but otherwise everything was fine.
A few slight negatives - if they apply to you - were fine for us - the site is very highly, lots of stairs - but also plenty of lifts and the golf buggy will take you up and down the hill if you like.
The hand rails on the stairs were very low I may be worried if I had small children, also glass surround on our balcony was a little wobbly and the gap at the end may allow a small child to slip though.
If you like to get out and about it's about 15 minutes drive to Lindos (well worth a visit) an hour to Rhodes Town .

The hotel is super noisy, and the noise and sort of mess is created by huge number of kinds as till 12 years of age they can stay without extra charge. Hotel is AI, but food and drinks are not good at all, even Ala Carte and cocktails and coffee in the bars. Also, one day there were no hot water, so had to take cold water shower. Would not recommend this hotel to any friends or family members.

The best holiday ever. It was the first time for me and my husband to visit Greece. To be honest we think we made the best decision to stay in Mitsis Rodos Village Beach Hotel & Spa. Everything there was amazing !!! Location is lovely. Very close to nice and clean private beach where you will have a bar and next to the bar the best beach pizza. We stayed in the bungalow which was amazing with easy access to everything and also been cleaned on the daily basis. Staff in the hotel is super friendly and very helpful. Every single person there was more than happy to help you with anything you need. If you will have any problem they will solve immediately. Also, we want to say big thank you to everyone who was making the food there. The food was amazing, very delicious and very fresh. Even fussy eater will find something delicious to eat. Let me tell you this me and my husband managed to put on weight 😂😂😂. But we don’t mind because the food there was very delicious. On this occasion, want to thanks every single person of the hotel for making our holiday extra special. Specifically Sophia, Nicos, Lidia ,Yannis , Tsoy, Dimitrius , Apostolis, Lorenzo, Maria, Ksyusha. Sorry, we don't remember everyone's name but you were all amazing. Thanks again for all your hard work and being super nice to us, you made a smile on our faces at all the time. I’m sure we will be back again to the same hotel. Great hotel with fantastic staff

We were allocated a family room which had been re-furbished. It was spacious and had a very large balcony overlooking the sea which caught the sun all day long. The staff were terrific - nothing was too much trouble. It had them a la carte restaurants which served great food. In all this was fantastic value for money.

Hotel was a bit out in the sticks the bus took 2 hours to go to rhodes. There was a lot of young children running around and irt was very noisy. Mainly german and french in the hotel. Only had 3 trips and that was through a french tour rep. We found out when we asked reception if their were any other tour operators to contact that there was just a supermarket up the road. It was later in the week we found a tour operators but it was too late also when the restaurant was busy it's not smooth I got raw chicken on my plate and one other thing the bedrooms need a revamp as some of the furniture had paint off and the grouting in the bathroom was missing. I would rate this hotel a 3 star

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Mitsis Village. We arrived late, around 24.00 and were asked if we were hungry and offered a hot meal. Throughout the holiday, food was plentiful with enough choice to satisfy everyone. All members to staff were polite, pleasant and couldn't do enough for us. I would like to give special thanks to Olga, Sanas and Zeta at the bar, always happy and attentive, really lovely people who made our holiday even more special. Pools were nice and sunbeds plentiful. The grounds were well maintained by hardworking gardeners and the cleaners worked hard on all areas of the hotel to keep it all clean and nice. Only drawback would be for people with mobility problems as it is quite steep in parts though I am sure that this would not be a problem in the main hotel as there are lifts. Wonderful holiday, thank you and again a big thank you to Olga, Zeta and Sanas.

Good hotel, with great staff

Lovely hotel set close to the sea (5 / 10 minute walk via overpass). The hotel staff are what makes the hotel so special - they can't do enough for you, from reception to the dining room staff, to the bar staff and the cleaners. The place is kept immaculate. We booked a sea view on a higher floor and that's what we got - a great view and a nice, quiet room away from the busier public areas. The all inclusive package is great and operates effortlessly until midnight - including beach bar and the various bars and restaurants / cafes at the hotel itself. The food, although mostly buffet style in the main restaurant, is really tasty and many of the main dishes vary daily. The fruit and salads, in particular, are fantastic. Would definitely go back.
NB: Many of the rooms are some distance away from reception and involve a fair bit of walking to get to them (the lifts are either very slow or weren't working), but this was fine for us.
Our only issue is that the hotel could really do with operating smoking and non-smoking zones for outside dining. We liked to eat outside in the evening to enjoy the cooler air and the ambience of eating out under the stars and some of the tables for 2 were quite close together and a lot of the other European guests were smokers and lit up whilst we were eating. We did move, but it would be much easier if this was controlled in the first place.

Perfect location, we flew in late and had a meal waiting for us upon arrival. Food was nice. Plus the mini bar in the room is great. 2 pepsi, 2 tango, 2 lemon Fanta, 2 beer, 2 soda water and 2 still water filled up in your room every other day.

Thoroughly disappointed, not a luxury hotel

On first impressions the hotel seemed ok. However we quickly realised that we had been ripped off. The maintenance at the hotel is really bad. We had booked 2 rooms, neither of which had hot water for 3 days in a row. The beds and pillows were hard and lumpy. We went a whole day without towels as the cleaner had taken them and not replaced with fresh towels. The TV's were something out of the 1980's and we couldn't get a single channel. The radios in the room also did not work. The main swimming pool was clean and nice (although VERY cold), but the second pool was filthy and green - you couldn't see the bottom of it as the cleaning system had broken, no chance of swimming in there. The food was average - several times I ordered an omelette which was under-cooked. We complained multiple times about all the above and eventually got a newer room which was marginally improved as we had a sea view and hot water at last.The beds in the new room were also hard and uncomfortable just like the first. We ended up paying to use the facilities/eat at the Princess Adriana next door as that hotel was simply amazing and incomparable to our hotel. We had our 70 year old Grandma holidaying with us and she couldn't cope with all the steps at the Mitsis hotel - especially as none of the stairs had handrails. The gym was awful - the equipment was very old and some of it was broken. Sauna did not exist despite it being advertised. The jacuzzi was not working. All in all very disappointing holiday

Great value for money and a relaxing environment

Having booked only 3 days before arriving for 3 weeks (due to a cancellation of accommodation by another provider) I was relieved and delighted to find the hotel welcoming and comfortable. I have previously been to this hotel some 8 years ago so the facility is a bit tired but the staff do a fantastic job and the amenities are terrific for families and small children. It is a lovely location with supermarkets, tavernas and other shops nearby, all good and very enjoyable. Thanks

We enjoyed our stay and would go again. The room was really good; spacious; with a fridge and a brilliant sea view. Staff were mostly excellent; friendly and helpful (though there were a few exceptions to this). Food was good without being great. Mostly very tasty and with good variety. Lots of nice salads and bread and good provision for dietary requirements. It was a bit inconsistent though and not always as hot as it might have been. Beverages: wine and coffee were dire; cocktails and beer, really good. Two lovely large pools and a couple of smaller ones. The beach was nice too though a bit further away than the title of the hotel (ie 'beach' hotel) would suggest. Not an enormous distance but further than just outside the back gate. It's an interesting building built into the side of a cliff, that means its on lots of different levels which is OK unless you have mobility issues. There are LOTS of steps. It's a big hotel with lots going on and, especially in the evening, very noisy in the public areas. If you don't like that you'll find it irritating. The most annoying thing was the lack of information. The hotel tells you very little and some of what they do give you is inaccurate. On the whole, though it was pretty good for the price and dealt pretty efficiently with a large number of people.

La ère chambre proposée avait vue sur les poubelles avec les odeurs. L'hôtel a fait aucune difficulté pour nous changer de chambre le lendemain. Les restaurants spécialisés ne sont pas à la hauteur (surtout les restaurants Asie et Grecque !) et la nouriture avait tendance à être beaucoup trop salée.
Sinon, l’ambiance était très agréable et le personnel très attentionné.

Das Zimmer war ein Familienzimmer, da geplant gewesen wäre zu dritt (3 Freundinnen) anzureisen. Leider - oder zum Glück wurde eine von uns krank und konnte nicht mitkommen. Das Zimmer war sehr klein, nur 1 Kasten, sehr in die Jahre gekommen und mit Gartenblick, was sehr „nett“ formuliert ist. Es war die Lüftungsanlage im Ganzen Innenhof sehr laut zu hören, dass schlafen bei offener Türe nicht möglich war! Die Handtücher haben sehr ungewaschen ausgesehen und übelst gerochen! Der Strandanschnitt war ungepflegt und auch die „Strandbar“ auch sehr in die Jahre gekommen…….. Ich kann dieses Hotel wirklich nicht weiterempfehlen!

Wir haben uns gut erholt. Wer nur am Strand oder Pool gammeln möchte ist gut aufgehoben. Wir hatten von vornherein ein Auto gemietet. Für Familien mit Kindern ist dieses Hotel sehr empfehlenswert. Das Buffetrestaurant ist ziemlich laut, grundsätzlich hat uns das Essen geschmeckt.

Leider sind wir sehr enttäuscht. Das Hotel ist eher auf einem abgewohnten 4 Sterne, als auf einem 5 Sterne Level.

Sauberkeit:
Wir hatten Kakerlaken in unserem ersten Zimmer (Zimmernummer 802).
Als wir nach einem neuen Zimmer fragten, wurden wir erst abgewimmelt mit der Aussage, dass sie Spray nutzen werden, um die Kakerlaken zu vertreiben. Als wir dies mehrmals! ablehnten erhielten wir ein neues Zimmer. Hier waren dann noch Haare und Dreck vom Vorgänger zu finden. Leider sehr schlecht.
Generell sind die Möbel, sowie einzelne Bereiche der Hotelanlage leider sehr abgewohnt.

Anlage:
Ruhige Anlage. Foyer sehr schön. Guter Standard. Schöner Pool mit Blick aufs Meer. Der Strand ist leider sehr steinig, aber sauber. Die Liegen sind leider sehr in die Jahre gekommen und teilweise nicht mehr straff.
In einem Gebäude trat ein Wasserrohrbruch auf. Diesen haben wir gefilmt und auf Video. In Summe herrscht eher Renovierungsbedarf!

Essen:
KATASTROPHAL! Das Essen ist leider IMMER kalt bis lauwarm gewesen. Die Speisenauswahl ist zwar abwechslungsreich, jedoch eher mitteleuropäisch als griechisch. Keine Spur von Gyros, Souflaki, Lammpfannen und Ko. Mehr Beilagen als Fleisch. Bei jedem Griechen in meiner heimischen Umgebung esse ich besser.
Die a la Card Restaurants sind jedoch in Ordnung - jedoch schnell sein fürs Buchen ist hier wichtig.

Spirituosen:
Das ist recht gut gestaltet. Leider weniger Auswahl und kein guter Ouzo, jedoch können selbstkreierte Cocktails bestellt werden.
