Property was very clean. Would not rate it a 5* as it needs a major upgrade which i believe is happeing for next year. Had no problems with food was something to eat everyday. The pan asia is really good and you can order asuch as you want. The greek brunch is good also and the greek a la carte.
Pool areas do need some tlc, but i think everything as been put on hold for the refurb. The area around isnt great not much to do but their are buses taking you to lindos which is worth a visit and to rhodes town.
Overall had agreat holiday and i think this hotel will be amazing once been refurbished. One of the villas was ready and it looked amazing

Recently stayed at this resort as part of a 10yr anniversary so we had around 30+ of us staying in the hotel. Although prior to arriving there was a lot of liasing with the staff at the hotel it seemed they were a bit overwhelmed with having so many guests from one party. Food was average - desserts and the Greek restaurant served the best food. Having been to several different all inclusives previously, this is the first where you had to book for lunch, there wasn’t much leeway there either despite most tables being empty. The manager and check in staff and bell boys were lovely, the staff in some of the restaurants and in particular the ice cream parlour were rude - you almost felt bad asking her for an ice cream. There were no pool activities whilst we were there during the day. The entertainment in the evening was also average. Rooms could do with a little renovation. Overall I wouldn’t say it’s a 5star but probably more 3 to 4 star.

On arrival the hotel & reception felt very inviting, but sadly that’s where it ended.
The rooms were okay, cleaned daily but in need of refurbishment. The buffet food was standard for an all-inclusive, though repetitive. The à la carte restaurants were much better—less hectic and more enjoyable.
Disappointingly, there was little daytime activity. We never saw staff by the pool engaging guests or promoting activities.

The pool itself was odd—shallow on one side but dropping to over 3 meters on the other, which may explain the lack of pool games.

The sunbeds were uncomfortable metal mesh; they shifted when you sat and often slipped if they didn’t catch properly.

The best part of the hotel was the staff. The pool bar team were fantastic, always friendly and hardworking, as were those tidying up around the grounds. The main bar staff were equally great, especially a cheerful lady whose name I didn’t catch. Special mention to Simon, the manager, who was always happy to chat. He mentioned a major refurbishment is planned, and if the villa he showed us is any indication, it will be a huge improvement, but no doubt this will affect the pricing

What a stunning resort and wonderful holiday. We had a fabulous 10 day holiday, great swimming pools often with loungers available later on in the day. Beach a few minutes walk across the road at the bottom of the resort. Would be better if people weren't allowed to save loungers. We arrived at the beach most days by nine and had to search for loungers available for the three of us as others had saved with towels, some didn't show up til midday.

Main restaurant had a wonderful selection of food and then there were themed restaurants, you had to book, we chose the Greek restaurant and ate well. Staff were so friendly and helpful.

Room was adequate for the three of us, a double and a two singles in the same room with ensuite bath/shower and balcony. Coffee/tea and fridge refilled daily with water, soft drinks, beer and wine.

If you want to go into main town and you dont drive you will suffer on them buses. Hotel prices are ridiculous, buffet food is terrible. Staff arent very friendly. The room is not luxury in any way.

A five star property trying to be 3*

Good location , great views. So great when it was first constructed I guess.
But a lot of issues.
Good things first.
Drinks place near main reception is very good and cooler than the rest of the hotel.
AC in room good WiFi ok.
They stock the minibar free which is good.
Arranged like a Greek village with well kept gardens , pool and ambience.
Now the rest.
Firstly the reception staff need to be reasonably knowledgeable about hotel and surroundings etc. they don’t seem to know or not care.
Generally most staff seemed a bit fed up ; some were good.
Can’t get sun beds if delayed even a bit. Either by pool or by beach!
Can’t get reservation easily at restaurants esp the Asian one. We tried online and at reception many times ; apparently you need to book it before you even get there ; which we were told after we got there! Oh well!
The buffet room is very warm and uncomfortable; not sure if it’s AC or because there is a grill station there.
Food is ok in parts. A bit hit and miss. Certainly not “wow”.
Perhaps because of overtourism ( including us!) most Rhodians ( I checked!) were apathetic towards tourists. Different experience to other Greek islands.
Sound like first world problems but if you are advertising as five star the expectations are high!

The hotel its self was ok, the rooms were equipped with all we needed. The food was wonderful and plenty of choice. We did not have any room cleaning or fresh towels and toilet roll for the first 3 days. I called reception and they agreed to send housekeeping! No apology! An hour later another call! We were waiting to get showered to attend a wedding. Another call and some stern words and finally someone came. We generally found the reception staff very unhelpful. Other than that we had a nice holiday but unfortunately, I don’t think we would go back to this hotel.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, lots of dining options with great food and excellent service. Also fabulous range of drinks and cocktails with attentive bar and waiting staff. The only only downfall was the cleaning of room each day was a little poor, forgetting basics such as toilet roll and the ants were persistent. It was also a struggle to get a seat in the evenings to watch the live entertainment, which was also really good.

The hotel is not a 5 stars hotel, it is very old and look very bad. The reception wasn’t available even though we called 3 times at different times. The service wasn’t good at all- they didn’t explain anything about the hotel in our arrival, the forgot to give us bracelets, and everything was really bad.

Not as expected for a 5* hotel. Website misleading for menus. Creparie isn’t fully open yet so no waffles, basic crepe with choc or jam option. Pizzeria only a slice plain cheese. Pita gyros corner only two options of pork or falafel. Drinks - they do not follow the menu, over half not available. Incredibly frustrating as I’m can’t drink alcohol and there was only 2 mock tails out of the entire list with no reason why others not available.

Room - not properly cleaned. Massive ant problem. Tested if the cleaners do clean the room by leaving a little bit of suncream on the floor - this wasn’t cleaned all week. The most unaceptable part was despite having “do not disturb” sign on door, on MULTIPLE occasions staff unlock the door and let themselves on. My partner was in the shower, I just got out the shower. We didn’t request maintenance, or anything. They just let themselves in!! (door was locked!)!We complained multiple times to reception and this wasn’t resolved and no one came back to us. Complete invasion of privacy and totally unacceptable. There was probably more times they let themselves in when we weren’t in the room! Rooms also very noisy.

Pool loungers falling apart. The pool is salt water from the sea which is unpleasant. Okay for around 20 mins only.

Perks include parking area. Most (not all) staff that speak English well enough are friendly and food is good.

Overall not a 5* experience. More like 3* . Good enough for basic holiday, just not 5*.

I had conflicting expectations for this hotel. The price is about 100 euro per night for two people (all inclusive) but it’s listed as a 5 star hotel. This is not a 5 star hotel. You get what you pay for. It’s fine. It seemed great for families with kids. However I went with my mother and it’s not really ideal for child-free guests. The guest services were challenging to coordinate with and were at times very slow. The food in the main dining area was actually quite good but it was nothing fancy. There was a dress code posted for dinner, but that’s a joke. It’s basically a glorified cafeteria and no one dressed up. We always dined right at opening, and by the time we left the dining room each night, there was a huge line of people waiting to get in with their fussy children.
The close proximity to the beach was nice, the drinks were good - even though sometimes it was a good 20 minute wait to get a drink at the beach bar.
There is an app for the resort, which when I asked the concierge several questions she told me to use the app, but the app wasn’t accurate about everything and didn’t have a live chat function.
Also the hotel is about one hour away from Rhodes City, which is where most of the things to do are, so just know that when booking the hotel.
Overall, it was fine. The room was spacious and comfortable. Housekeeping came every day. The food service staff were friendly. The food was good, if not anything special. I feel I got what I paid for, but not 5 star.

First rate food and staff. Super clean. Beautiful surroundings. All staff are eager to please and respond well to any issues. Kept mini fridge well stocked daily and nice touches like wine and cakes left in room. If I were to be picky the beach and pool areas were too crowded meaning it was sometimes a struggle to find beds and umbrellas. On the whole though this is an excellent all-inclusive in a super luxurious hotel.

This is not a 5* property. Good 3*/average 4* at best! Some really lovely staff who were attentive and professional but others were ignorant or indifferent. I wish I took his name but there was one particular staff member, either a manager or supervisor, not sure but he was beyond rude! Our interactions with him were always at the “American restaurant” and also witnessing him with others. Turning people away for not having a reservation when there were tables available, being accusatory when you did actually have a reservation and just a generally unpleasant person, eye rolling and muttering under his breath! I discovered quite early into our stay that my email address was inputted incorrectly by the hotel staff so I wasn’t receiving confirmations for dinner reservations, but to be honest the whole system was painful. Food was average at best and portions in the a la carte restaurants were small. Definitely not giving value for money when all inclusive. Entertainment was poor! Housekeeping insisted on waking us up first thing every morning to “service” the room even with a dnd sign. Pretty sure the sheets weren’t changed for 2 weeks! Doors being slammed from as early as 7am! Not the relaxing break I’d hoped for. And forget trying to get poolside. Towels were out first thing and although you often wouldn’t ever see people return to the majority of the loungers, no staff members went round removing them. Pool area is way too small for all guests to enjoy. Wouldn’t return!

Amazing resort at Rhodes

Mitsis Rodos is a beautiful resort , good for families, especially with children, has so much fun, shows, activities to all ages. Food is good and if you aren’t going with children they have smaller restaurants that are really nice, the greek brunch is really outstanding!! Magician show, live music, tennis court. The only point not so good is the beach that is blue , really beautiful but with stones. They have bars on the beach and a pizza station, delicious! It’s worthwhile, go there. Just be careful and rent a car in advance, then you could see all beaches around, and just from the international known companies, like hertz, or from local like extreme, marathon or Rodos cars. Be careful because there are small companies with old and dangerous cars that aren’t reliable like Dimitra cars, really a bad choice.

Brilliant hotel if you want a private beach and have a car to drive around the area. Buffet food was very disappointing,not 5 star and not a lot of choice for main dishes. We did however love the a la carte restaurants, especially the brunch, american and greek.Should give guests the option to visit more than once during their stay. Mostly good service but some staff were really miserable and rude, chatting in greek and ignoring the guests at the bar..great stay but could be even better with a few improvements. Would definitely come back for a few days again.

Pleasant stay and staff was very friendly and happy to assist with any issues or requests.
Gardens very well kept but beach needed a bit of tiding up as too many deck chairs/umbrellas attached together. Need to have a solution to prevent guests to place towels early in the morning to get front row.
Food was good although main buffet very busy. Greek a la carte was nice but food repetitive so cannot go more than once or twice.
Room was spacious although no need to leave extra bed if only two guests are staying. Most balconies in the bungalows are not covered so impossible to enjoy during the day as too hot.

Overall good hotel. Fully all-inclusive - we didn't leave for 8 days. It was a great holiday but the hotel is a bit dated and hence we probably wouldn't return until it was renovated.

Pros
1. Big footprint hotel - right on the (pebble) beach and a couple of nice pools
2. Lots of places to get a drink
3. Awesome Pizza on the beach
4. Good al a carte restaurants (needs booking a few days before)
5. Friendly staff
6. Some reasonably priced shops opposite the hotel
7. Decent kids club (but dated)
8. Lot of great entertainment throughout the hotel
9. Easy to get a Covid test prior to departure (Cash only)

Cons
1. Check-in was a disaster - we arrived after a long journey in the heat. Given that the only bellboy (for a 400+ room hotel), was busy - I was asked to move all of our bags from the car park to the lobby.
2. No welcome at all (no cold drink, no refreshing towel)
3. Heard a number of people complaining about various things
4. Arrived at the room at 2:30pm and it was dirty (needed 5 phone calls + 1 in person visit over 2 days to resolve)
5. Rooms are dated - no more than 4*

Not a good start, but after the initial check in - things were good.

6. Soft drinks were far too sweet (all syrups)
7. At times service was slow
8. Hard to get pool towels and sunbeds at times

the best aspect of this hotel is the very good service you get. Staff are well trained, have good manners and they do make you feel special. Both the adults and the children in our party had a fabulous time.
The restaurants had a wide choice of food for all tastes. The beach was nice, clean and there was not a single time we did not find an umbrella even at the busiest times. The pools were kept in a good condition and the lifeguards were doing their job which is great to see in comparison to other hotels.
The water slides were popular and the children could not have enough of them. The evening entertainment was good most of the nights and it was a must for our children.
The room was good, had everything we needed. The cleaning staff were also very good, special thanks to Mrs Tsambika who we think went of her way to help us whenever it was needed.
Mr Groumpas was also excellent as well as the other members of the catering team ( unfortunately I cannot remember your names, but we met at least 10 of them).
The only areas that could be improved is the children playground that could be enriched, and have more of them in different parts of the hotel. The kids club could benefit with more variety and supervision.
We had an excellent time and we are coming back again next year which is something we do not usually do..

The staff were really friendly and the service was excellent. We enjoyed the a la Carte restaurants for brunch, lunch & dinner. The room was spacious and comfortable and we had a superb sea view. The food was on the whole good and although the drinks were unbranded, were perfectly acceptable. We enjoyed the music on the beach and the various singers in the bars and restaurant. It was a last minute holiday and we hope to visit more Mitsis hotels in the future.

Just returned from the best week away at this place. From arrival everything was incredible; food, drinks, staff, accommodation, beach, pools, service etc. Great for children and the adults get spoilt too. We’ll definitely return and can’t recommend it highly enough. The all inclusive service really is as it says even with a stocked mini-bar and waitress service for drinks in the evening.

Location of the hotel was great and has a grand entrance. Perfectly near the beach and great views. Pool was good, but does lack entertainment facilities compard to other hotels i have stayed at, the inside of the hotel is vast but lacks any atmosphere could have done with a chill area or indoor sports bar serving food. In terms of the food it was the same daily and very bland, not a great choice for kids, the speciality restaurants were not great and had to be booked up 3 days in advance!

The place was modern clean and a lovely design.
The staff however, other than a couple were uninformed, rude, impatient and really not great st all.
A great place for families but they really need happy, friendly staff as it lets it down hugely. A number of barmen refused to give towels as their clock was 1 minute behind ours, made out they were doing us a favour giving us a soft drink ( all inclusive) and the life guards shouted at our well behaved and always supervised 4 year old as he played with his sister.
On a positive note many of the kids entertainment team were helpful, friendly and sweet with the kids.

WONDERFUL!

A perfect place for families with fabulous facilities and great entertainment for all throughout the day and night!
I am very fortunate to have stayed in many wonderful hotels around the world, but none of these come close to the incredible service we have received here.
Under the ever present guidance of the amazing Stavros, the friendliest, happiest and welcoming staff are there to provide the greatest of service to their guests.
We stayed at the resort with our family, including our three year old granddaughter who has particular dietary requirements and from the moment we met him on our first night, the incredible Stefanos, the Maitre D’, could not do enough to ensure not just our granddaughter’s needs were met, but also the whole family’s requests.
To say that both Stavros and Stefanos went above and beyond is an understatement and my entire family benefitted greatly from their care and assistance.
I can’t mention each and every member of staff we encountered by name, the list would be too long, so apart from those already mentioned, I must thank Chef Yannis who was always ready with a smile and happy to prepare food specifically for my granddaughter. Irini in the main restaurant- so friendly & helpful each time we visited and Dora, our server on many occasions who was so aware of our requirements. Tsambiha and Maria in the brunch restaurant - so welcoming, friendly & patient!
Come to this hotel, enjoy its amazing hospitality and have a wonderful vacation.

Lovely staff, lovely premises, delicious food, very clean. Love the fact that all the restaurants are included in the all-Inclusive package. The sea is very close and the water is clear and beautiful. The pool area is a little bit too small and crammed, and that's a minus for us. The music is too loud at the child friendly side. The hotel was perfectly nice but not 5 star. The room and setting was nice and the food was generally ok but again not 5 star. The hotel pool was seawater which I have never before experienced in a top hotel. The entertainment and kids club which were a real incentive to booking this holiday for our two boys was very poor and repetitive (evening entertainment) and kids daytime activities were sparse. The hotel sun loungers were uncomfortable and need to be unguarded to have covers if this hotel is trying to better its standard. There was a Beach bar and pizza kiosk but a better restaurant on the beach is needed.
Ok holiday but won't be returning as not as advertised.

We will return to Mitsis next time in Greece.

We are a young family (with two sons aged almost 2 and 4) and this resort was excellent for us. It is a very good family resort. The food and service is excellent. We arrived at 01:30 in the morning and could still eat dinner. The pizza at the beach was great if you were hungry between meals and coffee and icecream is available too. We easily booked the alacarte breakfast and dinners. The Brunch and Greek restaurant were particularly good. The swimming pools, entertainment, all very good. The sea is crystal clear. The beach is pebbled but we knew this. To find a great sandy beach, you can drive to Agathi. There are many nationalities of guests which we liked. I would recommend Mitsis to anyone who wants a quality resort which caters for families.

Another lovely stay at the Maris. Excellent staff, lovely food in the main and thematic restaurants, excellent cleanliness everywhere, lovely clean towels and beautifully cleaned rooms every day.
I had a knee injury sustained before our holiday and the staff could not have been more helpful in assisting me by taking me to the beach (on the luggage buggy!), providing me with ice packs to help my knee, moving us from an external apartment with steep steps to a more suitable room in the main building and always enquiring how I was and if they could help me.

I am sure we will return!

This was our second visit to the Mitsis Rodos Maris Resort and Spa and chose this hotel again after having a great time last year. There seemed to be no UK tour operators at this hotel and the atmosphere this year was not as good as the hotel guests were mainly German. They were very loud and noisy especially in the bars and buffet restaurant and do not have any concept of queuing but just went to the front both in the bars and the Buffet. The drinks were awful not like last year. What ever you ordered Gin, Vodka etc all tasted the same especially if lemonade was added to the drinks. I ordered a Tonic Water and it was as though I had ordered lemonade. The drinks were also very weak. The food was wonderful as were the staff and some even remembered us from last year. The added bonus was the American Diner now served breakfast which was freshly cooked and served at your table by smiling friendly staff. We ate breakfast there every morning of our stay so well done Mitsis Rodos Maris for coming up with this idea. The staff were friendly and always smiling and could not do enough for you. They wanted to make sure you had a lovely stay. I think the staff are a huge asset to the hotel along with the hotels layout and its location right on the beach with a lovely beach bar and pizza station. Our room was on the ground floor and because of this we were plagued with ants. We went across to the Supermarket opposite and bought some spray which helped a lot. We would go back again.

Access the various restaurants for reservations through computerised system pot luck.....and unless your made aware of the booking process you cannot use the restaurants...….out of our weeks holiday we only managed to use the Asian one once, the others were constantly booked but when we walked past on many occasions there would be many vacant tables however when you enquired you were turned away as you hadn't got a ticket.
Need to cater more for British....information was predominantly in German
The positives did out way the negatives and we would stay again with this hotel chain.

Excellent hotel and lovely location

The hotel was gorgeous, staff were very friendly and attentive to all your needs. Food was excellent and good variety of choice. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Cleanliness was impeccable. Would recommend this to my friends and family. Surrounding area was nice but need to get on local bus or train to find a little more in the way of shops etc. Great for a relaxing break.

Good holiday

We enjoyed our first holiday in Rhodes, lovely location and we loved the spending the day on the beach.

Very friendly and attentive staff, especially in the American/ Greek restaurant. Loved the freshly made pizza on the beach too.

Buffet restaurant choices and the evening entertainment was a little disappointing and not 5* in my opinion.

Overall pleasant experience.

Great hotel. Things I thought they should work on- bath isn't safe for kids cause the sink is very very hot. My kids touch it and it was burning... second, the children club is on the beach only and its less comfortable. I think it should be another one in the hotel itself

I watched other families arrive late too and glaze over and all the information given in one go
A print out would be much better !!

Went to collect our daughter on the first day from the kids club to find that she was not there and they had let her out without us collecting her. And signing her out . We found her crying walking around the busy beach looking for us .The kids club had no toilet facilities and we were told that the children had to make there own way to the toilet which was too far away . Disgrace . We reported this and was told they were going to refurbish the mini club next year . The swimming pool was too small to cater for 1000 people and was too deep for the children to touch the bottom of the pool.and could not join in any pool
Games or activities . We had to queue for 20 min morning and night to get into the restaurant. The bar was so busy at night and no seats available . No sun beds at the pool or beach . Drinks in the day were served in tiny plastic cups and long queues due drinks . No maid service for two days . And smashed glass left on the balcony after reporting to reception .Airconditioning not working for two days . Room covered with ants . This hotel is a disgrace and our holiday was ruined . No compensation offered

Fantastic Hotel! No faults

I truly can’t find any faults! In a great location for beach and pool and all other facilities. Room was spacious and cool, quiet location, but in reaching distance of bars and music should you wish to leave to hotel! Great entertainment for the kids. Great atmosphere all round with friendly hotel staff.

Had a good holiday but this is not a 5 star experience for a number of reasons:
- room was old and dated
- advertised bungalow is not a bungalow but a very small room
- service from staff is inconsistent
- spa doesn't feel luxurious
- long queues at main buffet restaurants other restaurants always fully booked
- no fresh juice only cordial!
- soft drinks on beach are very diluted
- only small cups used for all cocktails
- never enough coffee cups at breakfast times always have to wait
- never always given spoons at the buffet restaurant - have to repeatedly ask
- the list can go on!!!!!

Wonderful Family Friendly Hotel

The hotel staff, swimming pools, and easy beach access was amazing. The food in the main dining room was good, and had enough options. The other restaurants required reservations. We did eat at the Greek restaurant (dinner) and the American Burger (lunch) and they both had good food. There was pizza available on the beach, and my 6yr old loved it. There was also hot dogs available at the pool bar. The drinks at the pool bar could be better. The 3 pools were wonderful, one had the two slides, the main pool had different depths, and the small pool was great for young kids. Both my kids (6yr/2yr old) loved the pool, and we were always able to get a chair and umbrella. The beach was wonderful! My favorite location, the water was clear and warm, and we were always able to get an umbrella. The hotel was an easy 1 hour drive from the airport, and the hotel had parking. The only reason why I did not give them 5 stars is due to check in. They has lost our reservation and did not say anything during check in. They took us to a somewhat standard hotel room, and I had booked the duplex. I then had to go back to the front desk to ask what had happened, and then I was told about the issue with our reservation. It was explained to me that this happened due to a new system issue, and we would get a new room the next day. The new room was very nice and was directly off the small pool which was wonderful. The staff went above and beyond to correct the issue with our room.

Great hotel with plenty of options for things to do and places to eat and drink. On its own beach and with very attentive and helpful staff. Like all Mitsis hotels i have visited they really do care about the customer. The only downside is the local area and lack of places to walk outside without getting a taxi or bus.

Solid Four Star but Quickly Fading

This was our second stay in a Mitsis property in Greece (first was in Crete); and admittedly, we were disappointed. The physical structure of the hotel is showing its age (or lack of any real upkeep), with paint chipping and peeling in the pool areas, along the walls of the main house and many room blocks, to landscaping that looks like it was put together by novices. It was common to see empty soda and beer bottles lining the walls of room blocks for hours each day...something that should have been removed by night housekeeping before guests became active in the mornings. When it rained and puddled in common areas, the pool of rainwater were left to dry as opposed to swept away so that guest could use those areas for their purposes. The rooms are OK, although many people complained of ant infestations...which were addressed with houskeeping spraying chemicals all over the rooms...even on clothing and bathroom items. The food is OK as well...main dining hall offers variety, but presentation is seriously lacking and you see the same food items over and over again. It reminded me of being back in college.

The beach is nice, although the chaise lounge chairs and umbrellas are the worst I've ever seen in a hotel that boasts 5 stars. The umbrellas are rusted metal frames with dried bamboo rods woven throughout...like being on a stranded island. The surrounding resorts all offered nice, bright and adjustable umbrellas, including better quality chairs.

Good Beach Hotel

A decent place to stay close to the beach.
The food is generally good and there is plenty to choose from at the buffet. Breakfast is missing the fresh OJ as with most AI hotels, but there is good coffee from the machines. The 'a la carte' Greek restaurant we tried was also very good and is included in the AI package, along with a couple of others that must be booked in advance.
Staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are kept clean, but we did have a few ants in ours, so no 5 stars.
The beach is pretty good and has plenty of sport/game activities. The spa is also worth a try if you can afford a good massage.

Amazing all inclusive experience with fab staff

We had an amazing time at the Mitsis Rodos Maris - the food is amazing, with something for everyone and food available all day every day. Between the main restaurant with it's themed evenings, the three a la cart restaurants (Greek, Mediterranean and Asian - worth booking eaely for these as they get booked up days in advance), the American burger joint at lunchtime and the Creperie which serves crepes & pasta until 2am, you can always find something you fancy. And if you're not up for leaving your sun lounger all of the bars offer toasties and hotdogs and there is a pizza oven down on the beach!
If you are looking for a chilled out holiday, this is the place to go - we never struggled to get loungers by the pool or to find shade when we wanted it and all of the staff especially Stavroula at the pool bar and the animation team who run the activities around the pool area and down at the beach were amazing and friendly. They transformed our break from being just like any other holiday with good food and sunshine to one where we felt like valued guests as well as having a relaxing break and we will definitely go back if we are in Rhodes again

lovely hotel, great service , facilities, great choice of food and restaurants, excellent entertainment very friendly animation team. local area is pretty quiet and a bit cut off but the hotel is nice enough to enjoy and relax without going far. Would have been nice to include wifi throughout as many hotels do now, rather than having to go to reception to use it or pay for the all areas service.

Great hotel - amazing stay.

Excellent hotel. Staff always helpful and kind. Food was tasty and varied, outstanding American option at lunch (need to book) and late nights pasta and crepes. Rooms were spacious and air conditioning worked very well. TV had a wide range of channels. Beach area is well designed with shade. Bar and pizza available there too. Swimming off beach was wonderful in late afternoon and interesting fish to be seen. Lindos is close by with interesting castle and Greek/Roman remains. Lots of tourist shops too.

From the moment we walked in to the hotel reception just after midnight, we were greeted with cheerful and helpful staff. In the restaurants (three of them) they greet you warmly and the choices in each were endless. By the pool is a beach bar with the friendliest barmaid, on the beach the bar and pizza hut both make your stay perfect with good English speaking staff.

Really enjoy our stay!!!
Pictures don't reflect all benefits of this hotel. Loads of flowers and greens, NO SUNBED FIGHTS at the swimming pool or on the beach!!! Staff friendly and always were ready to help!!! Room service just \"invisible\" but room were always clean and tidy when we comes back... Three swimming pools, private beach, bar and pizza at the beach... Entertainment were reasonably good, but you always had a space at the bar or the balcony to just enjoy your relaxing time. Hotel have it's own supermarket where most of the stuff cheaper than in outside shops. Watersports not all inclusive, but quite reasonable price.
Hotel have three restaurants (Italian, Chinese and Greek). The Greek restaurant absolutely fantastic!
Food: I would give it 4.8 as not a big choice on fruits (probably due to the beginning of season), but in average big choice on all sorts of meat, seafood, fish, vegetables, desserts. The greek traditional coffee they make in the morning amazing!!!
Alcohol: GOOD!!! Not like in the Egypt, where all spirits is in the same shaped bottles just with different stickers. Beer is tasty and smooth. No headaches in the morning.

The only one thing were missed for me is the GYM... But who's going to all inclusive holidays and care about the gym???

Probably the best holiday I ever booked online

A 5* Hotel? Certainly looks that way when you enter reception. Polished marble everywhere, the first impression outstanding. I found the reception check in to be speedy and comprehensive and we were offered food even though we arrived after the dining room had closed.
A 5* room is stretching it a little, though it was spacious, had a mini bar which was refilled every other day free of charge. The room was cleaned daily. The balcony was on the small side the the view was breathtaking! Probably more like a 4*
The Food - Breaking this down into the three servings and starting with breakfast. Everything you could possible want here with just about all tasted catered for. It's not Full -English by the way but you didn't ought to be going to Greece for that. There were cereals, a variety of breads, fruit, cheese, cold meats and salads. The warm food for breakfast was pretty standard. Lunch was a delight every day, the fresh produce was wonderful the waiters attentive and there was a huge variety of foods to cater for most tastes. Dinner wasn't as good, the food often lacking imagination and poorly heated through. Again the fresh foods were outstanding though. At this point I should mention we also visited the Chinese and Greek restaurants onsite and both were excellent.
My only criticisms would be the size of the glasses served in the bar were ridiculously small and the fact the dress code for dinner wasn't observed or insisted upon by the staff.

Nice, large friendly hotel resort.

Very relaxing holiday. Too hot (40 C) but that's no one's fault. The hotel itself has a main building plus many small blocks around. Main pool ok but could do with some revamping, children's pool looked ok and a further small pool, more secluded and not as deep was blissful. The food was very good, always something yummy and the fruit was delicious. Would not recommend to anyone with children or walking difficulties as there are so many steps all around and inside the hotel. There are many levels to this hotel and there are too few lifts and toilet facilities. The beach, although close, was a gritty beach and quite pleasant once you got there but found it very hard to walk on. The sea was wonderful for swimming. Plenty of water sports available. Big bonus not having to pay for loungers, umbrellas and towels. The evening entertainment was poor. Overall we had a good holiday.

Ok but been to better places - not 5* in our opini

Hotel is not 5* in my opinion. Stay ok but very big hotel so quite impersonal. Hard to get into specialty restaurants - book as soon as you arrive! Food is excellent. Beach is well organised. Hard to get loungers around main pool. Family room was 2 single beds pushed together and glass screen between - kids on hard sofa beds and air con not in kids room. They had to keep door open and pass through our room to get to bathroom not good for holiday romance!
Reception staff really unhelpful - we were already at hotel and they said they didn't have hotels.com booking - kept fobbing us off and took 3 days to sort it out. Free Wifi only available in reception and could take 30 mins to connect! Charge 40 euro for 2 weeks use of safe.
Lots of steps and very slippery around pool area - not good for old people or small kids.
Animation/entertainer team excellent. However son 11 and having done Mark Warner we found kids club very poor for this age group. Daughter 16 and never found anything for her to do with other teenagers (seemed to meet each other hanging around for wifi).
Games room is an arcade!
Ok but would not return.
Floor in room never felt clean. Minibar only ever 2 days.

Hotel staff can be a little hit and miss and take some time to warm up, the pool bar girls were the exception, Maria and Irene work so hard! All in all a good stay pools are better at the mitsis village up the road as only one small pool is fresh (non salt) water and stings the eyes a little, if going take goggles!

Large complex which is clean with well maintained grounds.Rooms cleaned everyday but we did have problems with ants.Food plentyful but of poor quality no bacon for breakfast.Waitress service in the main bar area so did not have to wait long for service at the bar.No nightlife in the resort only a few bars & shops .Overall a good hotel but 4* at best ideal for anyone who wants a relaxing holiday in the sun.

Great place to stay on a budget!

The rooms are a bit basic but very clean. The resort is very big but you are not given any info on arrival, no maps, no information about the restaurants or facilities. There is sport/entertainment all day but you are not handed any timetable or information. Apart from the lack of information, the resort is fantastic. The staff are brilliant, the animation team work really hard to keep everyone busy and entertained. It's a fantastic place. The food was great, something for everyone. There is a beach attached to the hotel and they even have water aerobics and activities there, the same as by the pool. The cocktails aren't the best but normal drinks are fine - especially the iced coffee! The wi-fi isn't very good, there is only one area where the free wi-fi works and it's slow. We paid for superfast wi-fi in the room and that wasn't much better! We loved every minute there and would definitely recommend this place and would definitely go back again.
