Worst room I’ve ever stayed in

The room was honestly the worst I’ve ever stayed in. We arrived after 11pm and on arrival, we went straight to our room. The block was so uninviting and rundown, I immediately had a sinking feeling. Then on opening the door it was worse than I could have imagined. I expected basic but the room was falling apart. Beds for children felt unsafe.

The pictures advertised on expedia.com were a lot different than reality. Bunk bed was not safe and our kids could not use it. Room quality, furniture etc were far from what we had seen on pictures

AC was not working on the first night however they did move us to another room thankfully only because of kids apparently. Was a little disappointed with the food choices. Unfortunate there was no external performance since you were the entertainment. Overall a passable stay. 6/10

Good property with big clean rooms and our stay was comfortable thoughout. Short walk to sea side. Staff very helpful. Food choice are limited and same thorughout the stay which was bit of an issue for us but nearby restaurents. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a comforatble stay away from city with good facilities.

Room in the second block/family block,separate to the main building with its own bar & pool.The room was spacious,basic,balcony,tiled floor/bathroom,air conditioning not very strong for size of room,no shower curtain in bathroom,personally I think is quite dangerous as water sprays out,very slippy,bath mat provided very small,not changed at all during a one week stay,fresh towels and beds made everyday.Restaurant is ok, no air conditioning,we called it the pork & pasta restaurant as this was served everyday,also a watery pasta sauce everyday & chips,poor salad bar, feta & tomatoes,little fresh fruit, ice cream was very good. Breakfast is attempt of the full English,substitute bacon,eggs, beans/mushrooms,no omelettes just pancakes.Wine/soft drinks/tea/coffee in restaurant,wine from a tap,an ok standard. Drinks served in the bar are pretty bad, worst I've had in an all inclusive setting, all spirits were 30%, soft drinks from dispenser were sweet, very syrupy, beer drinkable. No snacks provided, evident by the amount of people buying pringles/haribo from the shop. Quiet location, you can walk to a beach, doesn't feel busy, staff all work really hard. Pool areas could be better maintained, cleaned once in a week, in kids pool visible wires from light fittings. I would class it as ok, wouldn't return, pleased I didn't pay as much as some people had, it feels most things are done by cutting as many corners/costs as possible, with a bit of care & attention it could be very nice.

Here more by luck than judgement!!

Booked for Egypt,changed destination to Rhodes with only 2 weeks to book hotel. Reviews good, so went for this hotel 3 star all inc. Upgraded room to superior, well worth it, I have mobility problems, but management and staff went out of their way to make everything comfortable for me, beyond the normal call of duty!! Staff and management make this hotel.
10 mins walk to beach,no hardship especially with option of 2 pools on site, hotel free car available for local and Glynos beach-well worth visit. Car available for Lardos village (5 minsdrive) and Pefkos (10 mins)
Varied menu, bear in mind 3star, catering for families, however loads of options at all 3 sittings. Brilliant salad bar, soft drinks ks, with excellent and beer all ontap
Room fine,cleaned daily, fresh bed linen and towels daily.

I stayed at Olive Garden hotel with my husband and 2 kids (7 and 15) for 8 days and we had a great time! Good food, great personale and service. The facilities were good in general, nice pools, slides, bars, kiosks, etc. Only our room that was simples than expected: the balcony door was difficult to open, the TV didn’t work, and the lock on the bathroom trash bin was broken.

Klimaanlage ist gut, die Räume sind etwa klein für die 4 Mann Belegung , Duschkabine nicht wirklich modern und dürftig zusammen gehalten in unserem Zimmer, Türen sehr dünn zum Zimmer, das man alles auf dem Flur hört , Wasser im Waschbecken so chlorhaltig das man mit Wasserflaschen Wasser Zähne putzen muss, Pool sehr schön angelegt und nie wirklich überfüllt , da ein Großteil der Badegäste zum anderen großen Badeareal mit den drei Wasserrutschen geht und es sich verteilt . Wer gute Liegen haben möchte , der sollte nach dem frühen Frühstück gleich zum Pool gehen. Das Essen ist ganz gut , doch nach einer Woche reicht es einem dann auch , da es oft ähnlich ist. Das Fleisch am Grill wird leider immer etwas zu lange gebraten . Es wirkt beim Essen aber immer alles sehr sehr frisch , also kann es hier nur meine persönliche Vorliebe sein , die etwas heraussticht . Das Hotel ist etwas abseits , was gut ist wenn man es so mag, aber nicht so toll, wenn man auch mal shoppen will. Ein Taxi nach Lardos kann man über die Rezeption schnell bestellen lassen was dann 10€ kostet. Dort gibt es 3-4 Läden ein paar Restaurants und eine Cocktailbar. Extrem zu empfehlen ist das Gyros im Redtaurant Savvas dort . Portion 9€ und extrem saftig und super gewürzt . Im Hotel kann man einen Mietwagen buchen für 50€ pro Tag was von einem zum nächsten Tag bestellt und genutzt werden kann , um nach Rhodos old Town zu kommen. Dort kann man gut shoppen und das alte Rhodos erkunden .Lindos wäre auch eine Fahrt wert

Nous avons aimé l'ensemble des activités réalisées par le personnel (l'accueil avec les très bons conseils de visites, l'entretien général des lieux par le personnel, la restauration ainsi que le bar, et pour finir l'animation)
Nous n'avons pas trop aimé le comportement de certains touristes qui ont été bruyants et avec un comportement d'appartenance des services. Il faut du respect envers chacuns d'entre nous, touristes et salariés.

Mahtava henkilökunta!

Hotellin henkilökunta oli todella ystävällistä! Etenkin ravintolahenkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällisiä! Huoneet olivat remontoidut ja sänky oli erittäin hyvä nukkua. Ainoa huono puoli oli kovaääninen iltariento, joka oli joka päivä klo 21:30-23 ulkona, jolloin meteli oli melko kova huoneisiinkin. Ilmastointilaite ei myöskään toiminut ja sitä korjattiin muutaman kerran. Lopulta korjasimme sen itse, jotta saimme viilennystä. Hotellin ympäristössä ei juuri ole mitään, ja kävellen liikkuessa pitää kävellä isomman tien piennarta pitkin.

Hinta-laatusuhteelta erittäin hyvä vaihtoehto. Vesipuisto oli kiva. Yllätyksenä tuli, että kohtuu edulliseen hintaan kuului all inclusive. Ruoat hyviä ja monipuolisia. Sijainti hieman syrjäinen. Kävelyetäisyydellä ei ihan ok rannan lisäksi ole oikein mitään. Auto on hyvä olla. Huone on ihan perus. Hieman isompi olisi voinut olla. Kunto ihan ok. Vettä ei ihan aina tullut hanoista, mutta pitkiä taukoja ei ollut. Kaiken kaikkiaan viikko hotellissa oli erittäin onnistunut.

DISAPPOINTING STAY

The water did not work during our stay. One night the fire alarm went off five times and when we called the reception to check on if there was a fire they said they were busy checking people in. There was a poop smell from the side of the hotel that you could smell everyday. The food was not good - it was a poor selection and sometimes the chicken was raw. The staff had a bad attitude when you asked for help or pointed out that something was wrong. The hotel does not look like the pictures. It was a total catfish. The shower was clogged.

Wir hatten einen so schönen Aufenthalt dort. Die Mitarbeiter an der Bar am Abend und beim Essen haben meiner Meinung nach alle eine Gehaltserhöhung verdient. Wir konnten dann erst einen Tag später einchecken als geplant da, das Hotel überbucht war, man hat uns aber einen Shuttel und ein anderes Hotel besorgt es war also trotzdem ein sorgenfreier Urlaub, was übrigens immer wieder auch von den Mitarbeitern gesagt und unterstützt wurde. Das Essen dort war abwechslungsreich außer der Standard wie Pommes halt, den gab es jeden Tag, ist aber meiner Meinung nach normal. Das Zimmer für griechische Verhältnisse extrem sauber, ich habe schon sehr viel anders gesehen! Alle dort waren sehr zuvorkommend, aber Manos und Aris, machen ihren Job nicht nur sie freuen sich Ihn zu machen und wir haben uns jeden Tag gefreut die beiden zu sehen. Wir würden definitiv wieder in dieses Hotel einchecken. Nachdem was ich gesehen habe bin ich davon überzeugt das grade Familien mit Kindern dort auch herzlich Willkommen sind.

Tout est tres propre, avec de grandes chambres très confortable...
piscine, tereain de volley, aquapark...
et un personnel très disponible.

Merci de l’accueil ! Merci à Jerry de sa bonne humeur quotidienne et sa patience pour se faire comprendre en anglais.

L’hôtel est assez excentré mais il y a la plage non loin donc ça va
Plusieurs bassins pour tout type de nageur c’est appréciable. Une boutique qui sert de dépannage c’est idéal.

Les activités étaient animées par deux animateurs à qui je tire mon chapeau car même quand les clients ne se prêtaient pas aux jeux ils continuaient leur prestation et c’est admirable car pas facile comme situation.

Nourriture variée même si les enfants ne jurent que par les pizzas et les frites
Bar de l’hôtel tjrs accueillant avec des différents cocktails délicieux (😉 hello kitty)

C’est à ce moment que les étoiles s’envolent car ce qui est dommage est que les chambres ne sont pas assez bien entretenues
Beaucoup trop de rouille dans la salle de bain, mauvaise évacuation des eaux avec une odeur nauséabonde de remontée des canalisations.
La porte d’entrée de la chambre se fermait mal du coup au moindre vent elle secouait. Ce qui est compliqué quand on dort.
Le ménage devrait être fait tous les jours ça serait bien.
Sinon la moustiquaire sur les fenêtres c’est super cependant il faudrait qu’elle ne soit pas déchirée cela perd de son sens.

A part cela nous avons passé une très bonne semaine à olive garden.

Un très bon séjour en famille !

Nous avons passé trois nuits dans cet hôtel très bien situé près du village de Lindos. Merci à Jerry pour son accueil chaleureux. Les espaces piscine sont agréables. Nous n'avons pas pu tester le parc aquatique car il fermait à 17H. Le buffet à volonté est très bon et assez varié avec de nombreuses spécialités grecques. Très bon hôtel pour les familles.

Hôtel agréable

L’hôtel est situé après Lindos dans une zone peu fréquentée mais ce n’est pas plus mal. L’aspect de l’hôtel est agréable et fleurie. L’enregistrement a été très laborieux voir pénible mais ils ont réussi à rattraper en partie le coup.
La chambre étaient spacieuses et agréables avec un manque de rigueur sur le nettoyage ( salle de bains )
Les 2 piscines sont propres, et le water Park est très sympa pour tout le monde. Dommage que les horaires soient réduit : 10h-17h.
Mention spéciale aux animateurs et bartendeurs : Dinos et Manos, aux responsables de salle qui sont très chaleureux.
Un grand merci au manager qui a pris le temps de discuter et de revenir sur l’incident de l’enregistrement.
D’un point de vue général, c’est un hôtel très correct, très sympa pour les enfants, le petit dej et tous les autres repas sont variés. Nous nous sommes régalés mais par contre, ça manque de moyens, de personnel et d’éclat.

Bien mise à part l’équipe d’animation qui était peut médiocre sur par exemple une question : avez-vous des transats ? Réponse « i don’t now »
Ou les serviettes avec caution de 20 euros non remboursé car non rendu avant 17h alors que notre départ prévu pour 4h du mat.
Sinon hôtel très correct ^^

Skvělý aquapark, vynikající jídlo, ochotný a pečlivýpersonál. Zmrzlina pro děti.
Nápoje v All inclusive nic moc, dalo se pít pouze víno a pivo. Za tři noci v Hotelu nám nikdo neuklidil ani nevyměnil ručníky ani nevynesl odpadky.

We were satisfied with the accommodation. We extended our stay. Very helpful staff (serviceman, maid, dining room staff, pool bar). We asked to change the room for health reasons. We were immediately and accommodated. The water park was satisfactory. 3 slides and a long lazy river. Plenty of sunbeds and shade. At the back of the complex there is a smaller quieter pool with a children's section and a pool bar. Drawing All inclusive was full-fledged, only good coffee was missing. We were here accommodation with a one year old child and we were very satisfied. This hotel is very suitable for families with children.

Fajny hotel za przystepną cenę. Polecam dla rodzin

Hotel na uboczu, wśrod drzewek oliwnych, w otoczeniu gór. Polecam wypożyczyć samochód. Obsluga baardzo pomocna, usmiechnieta . Jedynie barman przy basenie niezbyt uprzejmy. Wspanialy aquapark. Idealne miejsce dla rodzin z dziećmi. Kolejki do restauracji i do bufetu. Jedzenie wydaje obsluga hotelu i przez to bardzo dlugie kolejki. Nie jest to jednak wina hotelu tylko koronawirusa. Grecy bardzo pilnuja dystansu, obsluga chodzi w maseczkach. Jedzenie monotonne sle smaczne. My mieliśmy pokoj w głownym budynku, wyremontowany, z dużą łazienką. Plaża ok 500 m piaszczysto kamienista, zalecam zabrac buty do wody. Ludzi na plaży bardzo mało. 20 minut jazdy samochodem jest piekna plaża Tsampika Beach, o wiele lepsza niz ta przy hotelu ale bardziej zatłoczona. Ogolnie polecam, glownie ze wzgledu na aquapark i krajobraz. Chetnie tam wrócę pod warunkiem, ze skonczy sie wydawanie posiłków przez obsluge bo te kolejki były nie do zniesienia.

Nel complesso è un buon Hotel che offre un servizio qualità /prezzo di buon livello. Oltre al parco acquatico nuovo ha un campo da tennis, uno da beach volley, area bimbi con altalene e scivolo e 2 piscine con bar affianco. Camere in ordine con aria condizionata e pulizia discreta. Staff d'animazione non invadente e area teatro. La cucina internazionale per noi italiani è da accettare per quello che è : un compromesso di sapori greci e internazionali. Non ho mangiato male ma il menù è stato un po' ripetitivo. Bello il giardino interno con tanti ulivi, limoni, banani e piante ornamentali oltre che altri alberi qua e là. La spiaggia di Lardos, lunga di ghiaia e sabbia, dista 300 m dall'hotel e il mare non è male. Ci sono tanti parcheggi, anche sotto gli alberi, e ci sono le docce all'aperto per sciacquare via il sale. Anche il centro di Lardos non è tanto lontano, 2 km circa, ma non ne vale la pena andarci per poi ritrovarsi in una piazzetta/crocevia di locali e ristoranti mediocri. L'unico valido consiglio che vi do è di prenotare una macchina insieme al viaggio (quindi da casa on line) così da trovare un buon prezzo (io ho prenotato un'auto di fascia base - Panda -

La gentillesse des réceptionnistes a l’arrivé comme pendant toute le séjours, formidable, nous étions vraiment bien servi par ces dames.
Le parc aquatique était superbe. Le bémol sont les boissons servi dans des verres en plastique à réutiliser. Les enfants joue avec dans les piscines. Ça c’était un grand point faible. Les animations du soir laisse à désirer aussi. On aurait aimait retrouver un peut plus de la culture grec à l’hôtel, même la musique était plus tôt espagnoles. On se croyais pas en Grèce

Fint anlegg litt utenfor sentrum i Lardos

Alt i alt et flott anlegg med fine uteområder. To bra bassenger, og nyåpnet område med 3 store vannsklier (for eldre barn og voksne) og eget barneplask-område som del av anlegget. Delikate og lyse rom, men ikke de beste madrassene. Forholdsvis små bad (på dobbeltrom). Pluss for safe på rommet, og for gratis wi-fi. Kveldsunderholdning utendørs 6 dager i uka, noe for både barn og voksne. Også mye aktiviteter på dagtid (vann-gym, ping-pong, beach-volley, bingo mm). Et all-inclusive-hotell, men for oss som hadde valgt kun frokostbuffet (varme og kalde retter - veldig bra) var det litt klønete å få kjøpt drikke/småmat ila dagen/kvelden. Men uproblematisk å \"kjøpe seg inn\" på middagsbuffeten (15 euro pp inkl. fri drikke) om kvelden. Annonserte med trimrom, men både tredemølle og en del annet standard utstyr var enten ødelagt eller veldig slitt. Anlegget ligger i utkanten av Lardos-beach-området, ingen restauranter i umiddelbar nærhet. Ingen sammenhengende strandpromenade fra hotellet og inn til restaurantene og butikkene langs stranden, må enten gå en bit på selve stranda, eller ta rutebussen eller taxi (som tar bare noen minutter). Fin og lang strand - i gåavstand fra hotellet (200-300 meter), litt rullestein, så anbefaler badesko. Ved ankomst/avreise tok vi taxi fra/til flyplass - 75 euro hver vei (fast pris 2018) - fungerte veldig bra (underkant av 1 time). Gode bussforbindelser til for eksempel Lindos.

Ικανοποιητική διαμονή - καλό φαγητό / εξυπηρέτηση

Σε γενικές γραμμές η διαμονή ήταν καλή, το φαγητό χωρίς ιδιαίτερη ποικιλία, οι πισίνες μικρές και αδιάφορες. Σχετικά με το family room που μας δώθηκε αυτό ήταν ικανοποιητικά μεγάλο, ο καναπές - κρεβάτι ήταν αβολος για τα 2 παιδιά, η έλλειψη κουρτίνας στο μπάνιο ήταν από τα πλέον αρνητικά,η καθαριότητα την πρώτη μέρα ήταν ελλειπής αλλά βελτιώθηκε την επόμενη.

Erittäin hyvä palvelu, sijainti vähän \"korvessa\". Suurin miinus tulee aamupalasta, joka on täysin suunniteltu briteille. Ei tuoreita hedelmiä (ellei käsittelemättömiä, kulahtaneita appelsiineja, luumuja tmv lasketa) ja muutenkin keskitytty lähinnä kaikkeen ällöttävään, joka on paistettu mahdollisimman suuressa määrässä rasvaa. Jos se ei ole ongelma, niin voi kyllä suositella. Plussaa myös ihan pienille lapsille (1v) sopivasta altaasta.
