Our first room had a yellow jacket that we discovered when I closed the darkening curtain. The darkening curtain also had signs of mold that was bleached at the base of the curtain. The second room had a lamp light bulb out and an opened water bottle on the floor between a lamp base and table.

The continental breakfast had an option of eggs, sausage patty and potatoes; cereal - 2 options; toast, prepackaged danishes and honey buns, waffles, yogurt and instant oatmeal. There was also plenty of apples available.

The entire staff were very polite! Breakfast was ok. My children enjoyed the pool but the spa/hot tub was out of order. The building overall seemed to be a bit old and needs upkeep but it was a pleasant stay. I booked last minute and received a great deal!

We were enjoying our stay until we felt very unsafe on our last morning. While we were all asleep, someone (non-staff) came into our room with an active room key and started looking through our closet. When we confronted them, they apologized and said they had been staying in this room previously in the week and forgot something. They kindly left after we told them what they were looking for was not here; however, it was very unsettling that they still had an actively working room key that was able to open our door. When we told the front desk about this incident, they said it was probably the staff. When we further explained the situation, they did not apologize or seem to be concerned and said they would \"check the cameras.\" This was very unsettling, and we are not happy about how the staff handled this. Thankfully, the person who came into our room was kind and understanding, and apologized more than the staff did. Do not stay here if you want to ensure that no one will be able to bust through your door in the morning when you and your guests are asleep.

Unprofessional Management and No Housekeeping for a Week

We stayed here for almost a week and never received housekeeping even once. No vacuuming, no fresh sheets, nothing. When we finally asked, the front desk told us to come downstairs and get a vacuum so we could clean the room ourselves. That is not acceptable for any hotel.

The afternoon manager made the situation worse. Instead of addressing the problem, she came to our room and repeatedly questioned us about why we were making a complaint. She tried to shift responsibility, even though the issue was clearly with the management, NOT the housekeeper. The housekeeper was kind the problem was how management handled everything.

They later tried to close our complaint with corporate as if we were satisfied, even though nothing was resolved.

Very unprofessional management and one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. I do not recommend this property.

We stayed closest to the side entrance, two rooms away. It is usually only accessible via key, however the key pad was turned off so anyone off the busy street could gain access. Huge safety concerns with the location being in a very busy part of town with a very large convenience store across the street

There was a cigarette burn in the bedding. I did not shower because it was in terrible condition. The bathroom door would not stay open, the towel hanger was coming out of the wall. Carpet in the hallways was in really bad condition. Although a central heat/air thermostat was in the room only a wall unit was working. Just run down and bathroom not cleaned well.

The entire stay it smelled like weed on our entire floor and elevator.(Mind you it says 100% smoke free hotel and we have small children.) When we approached front desk she said she couldn’t do anything except put air fresheners in the hall. Also, we heard the lady who was in charge of cleaning the rooms demand at least $10 tip from a nice older lady. I understand maybe the tips are a huge help but a tip comes with a good service not from demanding it from the vulnerable. We don’t recommend for families with small children like us, next time we go to Dallas we won’t be staying here.

When we first checked in the lady was kind of rude, the rolling carts to carry your luggage was not manageable. The room floor didn’t look vaccumed. I will say the ac worked great. The breakfast was not eatable. Waffles we had to cook twice just so the inside was cooked all the way. The eggs tasted like sponge and the Honey Nut Cheerios were stale.

I first checked and got my room. When I did my normal inspection of the room I find several small black bugs in the bathroom sink, walls and spiders in the bathroom. I immediately went to counter to change rooms she gave me a room two rooms down. This room didn’t haven’t the live bugs but there were dead bugs in the closet and dirty spots on the carpet, what looks like a black spot on the floor. Dirty shower curtain and dirty curtains. At this point it was midnight and I was coming from a sports tournament so I was exhausted. I Lysol my whole beds and slept on top of the sheets. In the morning the breakfast area had flies and was not cleaned up. I’m disappointed in this hotel and will not be returning.

If you are needing to sleep during the day id suggest somewhere else as theres an air base next-door and the jets are VERY loud 8am to 5pm. It was peaceful at night.

Check in was easy. Seemed like it was in an ok area. When we got to our room, we let them know 2 of our lightbulbs were out so they didn’t think we broke them. Front desk offered to replace them but we told her it was ok. Called them a little while later to let them know our toilet was constantly running and had little water pressure in the sink. They sent someone up and said that’s how it should be. Next morning an empty room’s alarm was going off at 4 am so that was fun. Front desk sent someone to turn it off thankfully. A lot of the channels on the tv said “not supported” for some reason but you could hear the sound. Hot water in shower was not hot enough for our liking and shower looked very dirty. Wood on bathroom door looked like it was rotting or something. Breakfast was extremely limited. Stairwell smelled awful and hallways were stained. Basically we got what we paid for. It’s ok for a one night stay but any longer is too long.

At first sight, walking down hall carpet has not been vacuumed in a long time. Spills and stains all down the hall and elevator area. Has a gross smell through out hall. The room didn’t smell as strong but still had odor. Room carpet was not vacuumed in awhile either which leads me to assume it was cleaned to look decent at first glance. Carpet was dirty enough I didn’t want to take my shoes off. Tiles in room entrance were broken, bathroom baseboards were dirty. We left for dinner and asked if it counts be vacuumed and response was to come back when we were back and they would go up to the room. We weren’t back until 1am so there was no point having them vacuum and wake up other people. Overall not recommended. Highly disappointed.

I checked in at 3:00 with I’m assuming the manager and she wasn’t very welcoming. So I got my room key and went to my room and noticed right away. The showers were dirty and full of hair. I checked the sheets and it was dirty and full of pubic hair. So I go back down to the front desk to let them know what’s wrong with my room. Lady(Chrystal) didn’t seemed shocked or nothing like this happens all the time. So she offered me refund but I just wanted another room. So finally I get another room. As I’m changing rooms, she asked me what did I mess up like really. So being accused of something is totally out of line. I will definitely not book at this location.

Nice Room, Sad Breakfast

While our room was nice, the free breakfast was dismal. As a diabetic, I try to pick low carb foods for breakfast. What was presented was sugary cereals, white bread and packaged “pastries”. For the sake of your customers, please supply some whole wheat bread, at least. Also, there was one small cart for the whole hotel - you need at least 2 carts.

The place was very dirty and the bed was hard as rock and sheets were not clean and me and my daughter were itching through the night. My daughter woke up with a rash on her body. Plug fixers covers hanging off the wall and remote didn’t have a back to it. Carpet was very dirty and when you walked without shoes you could feel the dirt in the carpet. We we’re supposed to stay Friday night and Saturday night but because of Friday night was so horrible, and my daughter had a rash, and my body was so achy because of the bed was so hard we left early and I wanted a partial refund on Saturday night, which they did not give. I have stayed here before, but was extremely disappointed this time. I am aware that they cannot control it being rodeo weekend or whatever it was, but they can prepare for it. The whole hotel smelled like a barn my entire visit. It permeated into my room, even though I was NOT here for or near the rodeo at any time. They were out of linen and towels during my whole stay.

The young lady that greeted us was very nice. The hotel had cleanliness issues from dusty furniture as we got out of elevator, our room needed vacuuming around furniture and bed in the room. Lots of dust & hair on baseboards & behind the bed under headboard & box mattress. The headboard needed a good dusting & disinfecting wipe down. Shower was horrible yucky black mold in shower glass sliding doors and it just needed a good cleaning/scrubbing! We took a shower but kept our flip flops on! I wish I had taken pictures. My husband has asthma and allergies and he was miserable by the time we got to our room. He was fine before we checked in. I thought we were going to have to leave. We will not be staying at this hotel again.

The over all stay was ok with the exception of the rooms ac didn’t keep the room cool at night but worked wonderful during the day time. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were awesome and very helpful. The price for 3 nights wasn’t bad at all. So over all if and when I do go back to fort worth I will most likely stay at this hotel again.

We were pretty disappointed in a few things. The front desk workers were really friendly...but there was no coffee pot in our room (but there was plenty of coffee), the TV set up was very frustrating because it LOOKED like we had tons of options but really only had live tv. That's not the end of the world BUT it would be much less frustrating if it didn't options that weren't available. Lastly they did not visit the room to clean it/make beds/wash towels. The sign in the room said they would do all these services unless we put the do not disturb sign on the door...which we did not.
