Only downside was the emergency light in room came on by itself frequently in the early hours on 2 nights. We did notify the reception team when it first occurred. It was only rectified after the second night it did it again multiple times.

Stunning views of the Town, Beach & Marina. Very good Bars, Restaurants, Beach & Marina within a 10 min walk. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel and hope to return. Excellent.

Lovely stay with family

We stayed for 2 nights and found the hotel spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff are all very polite and attentive. We had a great room with 2 balcony areas.
We loved the pool area, the day beds are so comfy, very peaceful with beach club vibes. No hurry to get sunbeds, plenty available all day. Had a very relaxing stay.
We gave it 4 out of 5 and not 5 out of 5 because -
The air con in the bedrooms is not adjustable and set too high, it was hot overnight and not comfortable.
The cooked section of the breakfast buffet was cold, and the last morning was stone cold so inedible but the rest of the breakfast buffet is good and well stocked up.
There was a strong sewage smell every time we returned to our room, it wasn’t coming from the bathroom but was really unpleasant.

Really enjoyed this hotel. Very comfortable room with super king bed, lovely balcony with far-reaching sea and town views. Nice pool area with reasonable number of sun beds. It never felt crowded. All staff warm & friendly and made us feel genuinely welcome. The walk to the promenade and marine was about 20 mins, with an excellent range of restaurants. The return walk was a little slower as uphill, but a good way to burn some of those extra calories!

Hotel was clean, fresh and couldn't fault that side of it, staff at poolside bar, breakfast all good. The issue i had was the safety deposit box was closed on arrival so i asked reception 3 times and one of the chambermaids to reset to open vs the last people that used it. We then also was told we would have water on arrival, and we didnt and again i asked for it. We then found out that one of balcony doors didnt lock, again asked with the safe & water. We stayed four nights and none of the requests happened. However we ordered food at the bar, i didnt get a receipt to check and I have phone calls, asking me at breakfast the next day to sign for it. I wouldnt mind it was only for 10 Euros.

The range of great food available for breakfast was one of best I’ve found anywhere, but the hot food selection was cold due to inefficient steam heating. A relatively low cost investment in heat lamps to keep the food hot would make such a difference.

I stay at this hotel on two occasions twice a year. The accommodation is good but the female receptionist on checkin was not very helpful. I asked for some extra milk or cream for coffee and she pulled a face. I know times are hard but just one request but these would appear to be too much for her.
However a pleasant stay at this hotel as always.

This is a lovely hotel with a beautiful view. The only issue I would say is that they need to sort out the restaurant. The food is not good and if you haven’t reserved a table and want to just get a snack it is very hit and miss as to whether you actually manage to get anything. We only ate a couple of times here during the day but the food wasn’t cooked properly so had to send it back.

No room available at checking time .But after a couple of hours waiting around we got a upgraded room ,the staff on reception were very polite and professional and apologetic about the rooms not being ready.we had a pleasant stay and liked the hotel the only thing letting it down was the the restaurant it looked lovely but in our 3 night stay it wasn't open or if it was there was no staff about when we walked round it and no menu on display,only a qcode in the room that both our phones wouldn't download.

My wife took ill with a fever and arm infection. The staff were very understanding and tried to contact 24hr medical centre but there was no reply. Didnt need in the end as my wife always takes antibiotics with her. Have stayed twice great value but most of all the staff are always friendly and helpful

Ramada Hotel - September 2023

Another good stay at the Ramada Hotel in the Puerto of Mazzaron, Murcia.
Loverly views over the town and sea views. The reception staff are very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are spotless.
One thing is the breakfast, which is not very good, the presentation of food not good or lack of and the continuing having to wait until these are refurbished. Not on this particular stay but also on last three occasions.

Must say what an improvement from the previous owners who were not bad. Lovely views of the town from the bar areas and sea view rooms. The two ladies at the bar were also very helpful and cheerful.

It is the fourth time we have stayed at this hotel, originally La Cumbre. Pricewise, it was a better deal than last year when we booked direct and got ripped-off so we used your site this year. Situated above the port, definitely walkable for the fit but if infirm, a car is needed to visit the beach ( may take sometime finding a parking space in the port during July/August!!)Hotel refurbished a couple years ago, very modern with all facilities required.Quiet location althogh size of swimming pool a bit deceptive on web page!! Gardens superbly maintained by Gerry (Wiggins), very clean and staff attentive.. Menu, this year, was not as varied as last year... appears to cater for the more international clientele which didn't suit my Spanish wife!! Was told that it was a top chef but, in my opinion, needs more traditional Spanish dishes... well it is Spain!! Prices were a bit high for drinks etc but I suppose it is what should be expected in a hotel!! Rooms basic but very clean and a couple of problems encountered immediately dealt with. Definitely a hotel for a quiet holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the port (which, of course you can join in with) but despite the great offers for accommodation, the prices of drinks and food a bit excessive. My wife says \"last visit\"!!!!

Well the hotel needs a face lift. The room( deluxe w sea view) is quite small. The view is ok but Mazarron is not a very beautiful place. Parking was easy and free. The bar had an happy hour so 50% discount! Not bad!! the outside area is nice but the bar was closed and we were there in June...Overall The whole place needs a bit of looking after. I won't probably be back but that´s not because of the hotel but the town itself.

Overall a really lovely hotel since the modernisation. Couple of points;
- need to ensure the shampoo etc is topped up too late when i was on the shower wanting to wash my hair thst it was empty.
- happy hour is not happy!! You pay for your first drink then you have to take the receipt back to have exactly the same drink. Thats fine if we knew that we would have bought 2 different cocktails so we could have a different one as i didnt really like the first one. Make a notice to inform people its really that simple. The guy making the cocktails was just angry and not very pleasant but probably sick of people being unhappy and having to explain when its too late.

Lovely hotel just a 10 minute walk to the marina although the first 300 metres are down quite a steep hill. The rooms are very modern and well appointed, the disabled room was ideal, the breakfast was nice and varied including cooked items and the restaurant itself was very modern and inviting. It had a lovely small pool with chairs and loungers looking down to the coast. I would imagine e it would get crowded on the height of the season. Overall a very good hotel, we parked

Spent a couple of nights with my wife as part of a longer trip visiting my parents near Torreviejja. Left our dauhter with them and had a lovely stay in a luxurious environment. Room was lovely. Lovely hotel but housekeeping times strange 4/5pm in the afternoon. Each day we were in our rooms resting at that time having been out all morning /early afternoon. Awoke each day to a knock on the door from housekeeping and we didn’t have our room cleaning during stay.

Such a nice hotel, the only problem we had was that there was no hot water as the boiler had broke down.

Hotel is in the perfect spit with amazing views. Everything is immaculate. Bedrooms are great. However, strange rules for serving foid for a hotel in the day.
Nothing from breakfast to 2.30. Then only 1 hour to order from a limited menu. No snack menu. Barstops serving at midnight, again unusual for a hotel.

From La Cumbre to Ramada

The newly refurbished hotel was superb. We last stayed some years ago when it was La Cumbre and we were interested to see the changes. Immensely improved both inside and out. The official rating is 3*, but our friends thought it 4+*. The grounds are lovely with plenty of shady loungers. Pool area is adequate size, with luxurious beds.

Staff were efficient, friendly and polite.

We ate lunch in the bar area on both days and thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast spread was generous.

A couple of small negatives
The door to the Deluxe rooms hits the bathroom door on entry.
Laborious form filling at check in
New reception staff did not know a great deal about the local beaches. Otherwise everything perfect.

The only thing we would suggest is Some milk in the fridge in the Room and a small spoon, to go with the tea n coffee facilities supplied, that maybe just an English thing!

A fabulous hotel with wonderful views over the port. The rooms were spotless and very modern but we didn’t realise there was a major refurbishment going on so no bar or restaurant, nor much access to outside areas, plus lots of noise from the building works. We’d love to visit when the works are finished, it looks like it will be amazing.

Sadly, we arrived at the Hotel when a major renovation was in process. The noise was intolerable during the day and in such a situation the hotel should not be open.
Additionally on the weekend a wedding party was being held and loud music and partying continued into the early hours of the Sunday morning, including after parties in rooms near to us...
A horrible noisy experience... We will never use this hotel again.
