The room was great very much like last time, we did have a problem with the TV, it only played the radio & housekeeping came to sort it out but as soon as they left I tried to change channel it went straight back to radio, rang reception & told someone would come to sort it out, but no one came so no TV on our last night, otherwise ok, only other thing was the bar/cafe was closed, understandable as the hotel was very quite compaered to our last visit.

Rooms and hotel were very clean.can not call it a hotel as only food you could get was breakfast.
Restaurant was closed if you were not part of a bus group. As we were arrived in the evening we wanted to relax, but instead had to get cleaned up and go out looking for somewhere to eat.
Bar was open for two nights of our stay than closed.

Couple of lovely beach bars opposite the hotel - Joeys and Ermita and a few chiringuitos along the beaches. The port is walkable with weekend music events and plenty of eating options

I can’t fault the staff and the facilities it’s the best in the area. We stayed for 5 days and the a/c worked only in our first night. The weather was too hot for us so it’s intolerable we need to have the sliding door open at night so you can hear the noise outside and let the mosquitos in which is annoyingly quite a lot at the moment so not good for the baby. The breakfast is fantastic! There is no uber or bolt at the area so we rented a car it’s €5 to park a day at the hotel car park. Pool/beach towels will be given and if you need it changed to a fresh one it’s €1.

This hotel is in a very good location, within a short walking distance of the beach and sea.
Prior to making my reservation I called the hotels reservation centre for details to compare with Expedia. There appeared to be little difference, so I chose to make the booking via Expedia.ca. I booked the deluxe double soundproof room, with air conditioning, sea view (The Level), on the top floor of the hotel. When we checked in we were told that only the first 3 floors were open, 4 & 5 were closed due to low occupancy. Despite still being “winter” the room was quite warm at 24/25 degrees. The air conditioning was not operational and was told that it is turned off until later in the season, so opened the patio doors to cool the room down. The dining room and bar, were also not open after morning breakfast and advised to try other nearby places, that were also closed.
At night, with the room cooled down to 21 degs, the patio doors were closed along with blackout curtains. Despite being a sound proofed room, on the 3rd floor and 50 to 100 mtrs from the road the room was quite noisy with every passing car and the local gulls around the waterfront. The room may be soundproof but the patio doors & seals certainly not. We also had problems with locking the room ‘digital’ safe, only to find out that we had to pay 4 euros per day for a security key to activate the safe. Have never seen this over the many years of travel to hotels. Likewise there was a 5 euro per day charge to use carpark….

Amazing room very spacious lovely walk in shower with amenities, hairdryer and toiletries. Amazing views facing the pool. No tea making facilities but had a kettle and cups and spoons but you had to pay €5 for milk tea coffee to be placed in your room ??!! Bit strange. To be fair we had coffees and drinks in the bar downstairs, bar staff friendly and efficient, prices fair 👍 reception very helpful and check in all good as well as check out. Grounds are really smart has parking for €5 but lots of parking nearby so didn’t need to pay. Breakfast was okay good choice of food but my scrambled eggs beans and sausages were lukewarm but the lady would cook you an omelette or fried eggs so fair enough. Coffee machine excellent and pastries lovely. All in all for the price we paid we were pleasantly surprised would definitely go back and would definitely recommend a try. Quiet area, but a 20 min walk to the port of Mazarron with loads of restaurants or a 10 minute walk to Leonardos restaurant in the old harbour. Worth mentioning we went beginning of May so it was very quiet but I loved the peacefulness of it all. Not sure if I’d like it in July/august with the kids off school. Well done to all the staff for a lovely stay and thank you ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️

4th time staying at the hotel which provides great service for the mazarron area. Hotel was busy as Bank Holiday in Spain - they do now charge for parking at a very pricey 10 euros per day. Stayed half board the food choice was a little repetitive but was always fresh and well presneted

Al ir en temporada baja no estaban abiertas las piscinas, ni el bar no el restaurante, pero el desayuno buffet era bastante bueno. Aparcamiento por 8 euros al dia pero habia sitio mas que de sobra en la calle.

Por poner un pero, quizas la insonorización de las habitaciones no es la mejor.

Well its the first 4 star hotel I have ever stayed in that charges for a kettle in the room, and charges to park your car in an empty car park, has no bar or restaurant available. Also when trying to check out 6.30am the receptionist could not find my bill, 20mins wait, so as we had to get to Alicante to catch my flight we had to to leave, then he could not open the gate to let me out. Was stressed to say the least. I know its out of season, but come on you are supposed to be 4 star

Amazing hotel for family’s with under eights and babies. Loads of activities and a really good animation team. Nice kid friendly pool and play area.

Very Spanish lots of families meet over weekend. Restaurant very clean but food for us was poor variety and repetitive. Nice coffee and choice at breakfast.

Hotel just in front of a small port and easily walkable to the main port where bars and restaurants available. The hotel is lovely and clean we didnt eat in there but plenty people did. There is a bar inside and the drinks were reasonably priced. Also a outside bar but it was only open at the weekend. The pool is lovely. Would definitely rate it a 4 star. And if returning to the area would go there again.

Honest review.
As a family with 2 children we stayed here for 2 nights on a full board basis.

The hotel is in excellent condition, well kept, clean and modern.
The pool area is spotless however the roof terrace was closed when we were there in April.

10/10 for the way food is presented, they go above and beyond to make sure it all looks perfect. The kitchen staff and waitresses work really hard.

Staff were understanding when we had problems with a leaking iron, I definitely recommend that they change the iron board covers as they're extremely worn.

The location is near the beach with a small port around the corner, make sure you find the look out point there.
However if you want to explore or go shopping you'll need to travel further out.

The late check out option is a bargain, don't hesitate one second.

Hotel Dos Playas has all the facilities you would expect from a modern 4-star hotel, including excellent adult and childrens outdoor pools with a large lounging area.
All areas are spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly.
There are restaurants within a 15-20 minute walk (not all are open during low season).
There are a few negative points -
The hotel wi-fi is extremely poor (based on a \"ocean view\" room on the 4th floor and also the breakfast area).
The car park is very expensive at €15 per night (there is plenty of safe free local street parking).
The room dividing walls are lightweight plasterboard and there is quite a lot of noise transmission between rooms and also from above.
Breakfast is good, but evening meals are basic.
There is no bicycle hire, which is a shame, as there doesn't seem to be no other alternative locally.

30 Degrees is somewhat of an oasis in terms of the surrounding area which to be honest looks a bit derelict with empty buildings and rubbish in the streets. In fairness I found most of Puerto Mazarron to be a bit down at heel and wouldn’t return. The small beach opposite is nice with a couple of cafes. The hotel is nicely designed, great rooms, friendly desk staff and the breakfast choices were great. I didn’t take lunch or dinner.

The room was spacious and the balcony had a beautiful view. The staff was absolutely wonderful. The pools and play areas outside really looked perfect for families with younger kids. What we would have like is a little cafe for lunch/dinner instead of having to do the full buffet. Some nights we weren't that hungry. Also as we were there in October, we were really surprised to see everything around us closed - like a ghost town. So would highly recommend this during the season when it's busy with lots of stuff open, but off season really only for those who want a lovely beach and/or pool to lay in the sun.

Beautiful hotel in a great location, set within secure grounds. Warm welcome at reception. Large rooms with nice balcony. Bar area service and food was excellent. Good, free WiFi. Paid parking. Our only disappointment was the restaurant. Buffet style, but poor selection of food at both dinner and breakfast and the food temperature was warm, at best. We were staying in October, out of season and the hotel was quiet, but in season, this is an all inclusive, family hotel, fantastic for a young family, but probably very noisy, if you want a quiet hotel stay.

A wonderful hotel, very clean with fabulous views from our balcony. The room was spacious and most of the staff helpful. A high percentage of service staff did not speak English, but we managed to communicate ok. Late checkout was a bit of an issue with the language barrier, but a Manager helped us and all was well. It is a shame about the surrounding area’s where the hotel is situated, as it is rather scruffy. Lots of graffiti and run down properties.
However, overall the food was very good and we had a wonderful holiday. The Mira Mar restaurant, a short walk from the hotel was excellent, great food and excellent service. Highly recommend a visit there.

This is our second visit and we remain very impressed with the overall quality of this hotel. It is very well managed (the manager helps out and encourages all his staff) and the staff are helpful and friendly. It is very clean, the facilities are good and the quality of the food in the very good restaurant is above average. Secure parking available (10 euros a day is a bit expensive for the location when the resort is quiet). Overall, an excellent hotel with high standards and a friendly team. No hesitation in recommending this hotel and looking forward to our next visit.

The hotel is great; recently renovated and nicely located c.15 mins walk into Puerto de Mazarron. Rooms large and comfortable. Food is good with fresh show cooking each evening. The restaurant manager, Moad, is excellent and ensured diet allergies were attended to.
Only downsides would be slightly understaffed restaurant at peak times and the lack of heated pool.
Top tip - try the amazing Arroceria La Piedra over the road for lunch.
