Fine for the price but the accommodation is tired, the toilets block (two rooms in our group had this problem) and the showers can flood through the gap to the rest of the bathroom. Beds are comfortable enough. Really dirty underneath the beds though in all the rooms our group had.

Breakfast was good and we also had one dinner here which was good too. Good, central location and not too noisy.

Infront hotel is local transport hub, close to busy road. 100m to Gaya Night Street. 15minutes walk to CentrePoint Mall and Waterftont. Bedding a bit dated. Buffet breakfast is basic but is ok.

Spacious Room with great service

Loved the room size and the view facing the padang. Had a great view of the fireworks for the Malaysia Day celebration.
Breakfast spread can be further improve but loving the staff warmth & friendliness especially the trainee by the name Ms. Afrijinia.
Housekeeping was super efficient and had the room clean & tidied during our breakfast time.
Overall, very happy with the stay and will definitely return again when I'm in KK.

I was very pleasantly surprised by Dreamtel, as it was part of a bargain trip. Located near everything in KK the hotel was clean, comfortable and spacious (we had a room for 3). Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast with good local choice as well as continental.

The showel cap cannot move quite uncovenient when take bath. Breakfast choices quite similar everyday.

Good hotel in a bad neighborhood

Had a great time in KK. Your breakfast staff needs to pay attention to little details lile refilling the coffee machines BEFORE they run out of milk, and making sure there are serving spoons for rice, etc. please try to clean up the rat situation in alley in next building..? So many cats, cannot kill the rats? :)

the hotel provided with a very uncomfortable room
the room was very dusty and unclean
the toilets and sink was clogged and water does not flow . we had to change rooms and pay extra for the other room in which we had a same experience with the toilets again. however, the staffs were friendly. but overall it was not a good experience.

It was good I took the room without window, everything felt good nothing flimsy but one complain I had was in the shower, the water took way too long to drain I think the drainage is probably too small. Otherwise excellent hotel, u would stay here again probably this time with a windowed room.

Perfect adequate, comfortable beds

Rooms were good, not huge but plenty of space to move around. The AC worked great, water was hot, and breakfasts were pretty good. We did think the beds and pillows were particularly comfortable. Check in was easy and efficient, and the location is nice for walking to markets, dining, etc. Would recommend, it's a fine place for the price.

The hotel is convience because in the city. 7 eleven is along the hotel with walking distance. The rest of the thing is walking distance. Staff is good and helpful. The breakfast is a bit normal and not much choice. The room is nice and comfortable. However, the price is a bit high for a 3 star hotel.

Nice hotel near Filipina @ Kraftangan Market

Stayed for 3 days 2 nights. Overall satisfactory but it is time for hotel management to have hotel parking area/building. You have to use public parking, but the staff know who to call if you have double parking. Probably they used to it.

We arrived early and was able to baggage storage for a few hours.. very helpful staff who told us about travel directions and taxis and food...
Little shops next door in case you need something ..
Breakfast was just ok.....menu didn’t change much day to day...
A young lady there was very kind to me in the afternoon and gave me warm water and a place to sit so that I can drink my eno fruit salts for stomach discomfort...I am so sorry that I forgot her name....
Generally staff was very helpful and always smiling....
And I must not forget Sam from Housekeeping.....such a lovely person...
Island hopping was so much fun and the cultural village was interesting...
Overall an enjoyable time in KK Sabah...

Booked 3 types of rooms with view. Triple delux, superior double and superior twin. No hotel parking, you need to buy parking card from shop. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is ok. Restaurant need makeover. Most shops, markets (Filipino Market) nearby at walking distance. Visit at non peak holidays to avoid crowds and traffics

This hotel is a good little place to stay in the city of KK, the staff is great, it is well located and most importantly is good value. The buffet breakfast is good. We had the most modest room, it was ok but I would have paid a little more for a larger room as it was on the small side, but totally fine for what we needed. I recommend it.

The breakfast wasn't good. The fried kuey teow taste burnt. At first they said my and my son sat on a table with a two adults went to take food. And there is no sign on the table. They ask us to move to another table. Fine.. Then on another table my son followed me when I went to take porridge for him. When I came back a couple sat on my table and the waitress wants me to move to another table instead. I moved to another table. After a while they asked me if want to moved table. I told them I have enough moving table for a breakfast. The food not nice. Simple sausage also not good. My son oso don't want to eat.

Booked the hotel online for 3 days 2 night. I am very happy to have chosen Dreamtel. Reason being 1) Good location - within walking distance to Jesselton Pier, Atkinson clock tower, Obsevatory Hill and the waterfront 2) Friendly staff at reception, entrance, restaurant and housekeeping, 3) WiFi, mini safe available in the room, 4) Double deluxe room comes with nice view of the city and sea. Overall, I would go back to the same hotel if I went back
to KK again. Very good value for money. Extra: Muscle sore after the mountain climbing, luckily there are lifts in the hotel :) .. Return flight not depart till 2145, the hotel kindly hold luggage from check out... Was able to order eggs however I like at the breakfast, buffet choices are simple yet ample.

The room air-conditioning air directly blowing to bed which is not comfortable while sleeping. And the temperature for air-conditioning seemed always auto adjusted to 23 degree Celsius every night regardless of what temperature is set before sleep.

Other than that, rest are quite good. Good location, good breakfast with nice coffee.

Good value for money.

The hotel was exactly what you should expect for the price point. Room and bedding was clean, towels changed daily if requested. The staff were always polite and friendly. Restaurant was clean and pleasant and the breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The freshly cooked eggs are delicious. The only downsides are that it isn't in the middle of town and it is very close to the mosque (call to prayer will wake all but the heaviest of sleepers).

I stayed in this hotel before and after climbing Mt Kinabalu. It is near the Kota Kinabalu tourist board which is where the pick up is. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. It is also not far from China town for food and a 10 min walk to the shopping malls. Would happily stay heee again.

Location is great!

Had a pleasant stay here. It was all about the location so we didn't mind that the rooms were slightly small. We could walk everywhere or else get a taxi. The bus stop for the airport is 20 meters away which is very handy. Only costs RM$5 to get a bus from the airport here. Breakfast is also decent at the hotel. For the price and location, I would recommend it to others. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great value. I like the location, just a couple mins walk from Gaya street. I stayed on two separate days, both room without windows. Would recommend the upgrade to room with windows for those who prefer a view of kk town. The second day I stayed the room had a slight musty smell. Other than that not much issues. The buffet breakfast could be better though in terms of quality and choice. The best part of the buffet is the omelette station. And that says something.

Cozy place for minimum stay

It is located in the middle of city. Staffs are gentle and friendly. 24 hours checkin and checkout is available. The room was little tiny but it was comfortable. I stayed here for 2 nights before going to the airport. Breakfast was simple but delicious.
