Here is a possible re-write:

The staff are friendly and attentive. However, the lift is only for luggages, not for guests. It would be better if they could install a lift that can carry people as well - climbing the stairs to the third floor is not easy for those with knee problems! The air conditioner also needs servicing - the room is warm even at the lowest temperature setting.

Nice basic clean room, great for overnight stay. Rooms are clean but the hallway carpets are scary filty and worn out. Shame as the rest of the hotel is fine. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful.

Ok for one night

This was our second overnight stay at this hotel in a week. The second room we got was much better than the first. It had a small window and the beds were more comfortable. The bathroom grout and around the sink needs to be scrubbed to remove black mold. Hallway carpet needs to be replaced and walls need to be painted.

This hotel needs some work. It is about 20 mins from the airport. They provide transportation but it is an extra cost. A fresh coat of paint on the walls and new carpet are needed in the hallways and rooms. The room did not have a window and the bathroom had a shower with no shower walls or door so the water got all over the floor in the area where the sink was. The tile grout was black with mold and needed to be cleaned. I know this is a low priced motel but cleanliness should be a priority.
We were very appreciative that they let us store our bags there while we went on a side trip to Thailand.

Great Transit Hotel

I received my room key from the reception but when I was about to enter, my room was not ready. The housekeeping staff was kind to do it immediately though. By the way, with the price of RM126 a night, I could have got a better hotel in downtown KL. This hotel does not provide complimentary sachets of tea or coffee. I believe one or two sachets would not cost them a fortune. A budget hotel can provide but why can't Orange Hotel? The most disappointing matter was the TV. There was no signal for all the channels! Please have the courtesy to fix your TV or provide alternatives. I would give a C- for hospitality and A- for cleanliness (dusty window curtains and windows).

Stayed one night on the way into town after a late night of traveling. Front desk attendant was nice, but hard to understand. We were also notified upon check in that there was a small tourism tax per night we were expected to pay in cash. I had no cash on me so the attendant said she'd waive it, but it was still frustrating not to know this beforehand. The room was clearly worn out with hard beds and lousy A/C. The only thing I really liked was the shower that worked well. Overall, I was grateful for a clean bed to sleep in, but would pay a little more next time for a nicer place even if just for better A/C.

The rooms are great, clean and comfortable and the front service is amazingly helpful. Location is also good, surrounded by restaurants and not far to the airport (MYR 30 thru Grab). The only negative i can say is the corridors, not so clean and a bit of smell, however it doesn't affect the stay and with the price, you can really close your eyes☺️. Please prepare cash for government tax equivalent to MYR 10 per room.

Reserved a two-queen bed room but received a 1 queen, 1 single and 1 extra. Called couple of days prior, it may be caused there was a mix on the booking.

Nevertheless, it was managed correctly and we were able to have a night rest prior to our early flight. The room was super clean.

A so-so stay

The most prominent flaw of my stay was the towels. They smelled horrible, I can't even wipe my face with them. There were 3 of us but only 2 towels were provided. The air-conditioning was poorly functioned as well. It took a longer time to cool the room. We stayed a couple of days, but the room was not make up. You have to share the iron with other guests and there wasn't any hooks or coat racks to hang your clothes as I wanted to iron my clothes all at once.

1. The hotel have lift/elevator, which really convenient for families with small kids and elderly.

2. There is a common area for you to have a meal.

3. There is a public PC, not currently not in service.

4. The room itself is clean, and spacious.

5. The A/C works well. Nice and cold for hot and humid Malaysia weather. The hot shower is wonderful. With strong water pressure, you will not want to get out of the shower.

6. However, there were another guest smoking in the next room, which the smell entered our room. Luckily the windows can open to let the fresh air in.

7. The water bottles are provided in the room. If it isn't enough, there is a water dispenser in the corridor.

8. A restaurant and convinience located next door. Really convenient.

9. Pizza Hut, Dominos are located nearby.

Efficient delivery of service with focus on getting people to meet their flight deadlines. Let me check in a whopping 3 hours early since room was ready. Vacant rooms are aired by keeping doors open which unfortunately allows mosquitoes to enter, so bring repellent (as I did) & you won't get bitten. Surrounding area is interesting & rich in food choices.

Safe and Comfortable Near Airport

This hotel was for the convenience of an over night transit. I was travelling with my young and was nervous - the worst part was getting transport there. Once there it was very centrally located with KFC, McDonalds, 7 /11 and other food outlets. I then utilised the transport from the hotel in the morning which was super easy - I would stay here again.

As reviewed by others, this is for travellers who need a place to rest before flying again. Basic but spacious and clean. There’s shuttle service but if you’re traveling with family (more than 3), use the taxi service- listed price was RM 45, go to the staff who man the taxi counter, and ask for discount- we had ours for RM 30 for a family of 4 with 4 cabin sized luggage. There is a cheap but good Indian shop at the corner. 24HR convenience stores next to it in case you need something or a quick bite.

Unfortunately this property is nothing like we expected. After reading positive reviews on-line, we expected more. We should have realized the low price paid, is what you will get. It is equivalent to a low budget motel in North America. Stains and rips in carpet throughout the hotel, holes and paint chips on the wall, baseboards broken/chipped, etc. Bare bones with amenities, one big pump bottle for shampoo/soap combo, nothing else. Fortunately bath towels (no hand, nor face towels available) and bedding appeared clean, front desk staff were pleasant. But we could not wait to leave the next day. Coming from North America, we were not used to staying in accommodations that are such bare bones/ low budget conditions.

The hotel was basic but bedroom & bathroom was clean & modern. Fine for just sleeping at the night before an early morning flight. Bus shuttle transfer was 15-20minutes long. Check in was a disappointment, they couldn’t find my booking for 2rooms. Took longer than usual to check in , but when they eventually found my booking they were very apologetic

Very organized; about 15 min ride from airport n shuttle about $3 one way. Room was small but well designed. Bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning could have been better. Many good eateries near hotel within walking distance. Overall good value and very convenient for short KLIA layovers.

It was a little bit noisy at night, but I suppose that’s to be expected because it’s a transit hotel. I was only there for 5 hours between flights so the location and cheap transfer to and from the airport worked well for me. There are lots of restaurants and shops close by so that’s a bonus too!

This is my second time of staying with The Orange Hotel, they have a great shuttle service from the hotel to the airport (15 ringitt) and private pick-up service from airport to the hotel (30 ringgit) . The rooms are quiet, spacious, clean and modern with air con. great comfortable bed and super shower.
I noticed the hotel is used lot by muslim women and families that stay here, some foreignors. I found it safe and very comfortable, a restaurant is next door and there are many more, 7/11 and laundromat also. It is situated in a complex of restaurants and hotels that service the airport.The Orange Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly, wifi is a little erratic and may not work in the room, but always works in the lobby. They store your luggage which I found very helpful as I went off travelling for a month and left it there safely. Can recommend as a solo woman traveller.

It was a pleasant stay. I extended the stay for 1 more night but the room was not made up for the 2nd night. But the receptionist provided extra towels and water bottles to make up for it.

Decent stay at Orange Hotel (KLIA)

Orange is a 2 star property and offers good value for money for travellers looking to spend a night or two around the KLIA area. It is a tidy place, offers a clean room with AC and an attached shower, comfy bed. The hotel has a vending machine with some basic things, sodas, etc and there are a few traditional as well as fast food options in the vicinity. The staff was generally courteous, helpful and the hotel offers a shuttle service to the airport for a very nominal amount so overall a good experience and excellent value for money!

Firstly this hotel is rather far from KLIA even though it’s advertised as orange hotel ‘klia’. Rather annoyed at the $20 taxi fare from the airport to the hotel. Here you get what you pay for. Not very friendly slow check-in staff. Basic rooms but most importantly clean. No hot water at 5am wasn’t funny. Local area is great for variety of food and very walkable. My ‘city view’ deluxe room was a back wall. Super noisy next door restaurant kept banging stuff about at midnight. Not too bad for an overnight stop. Good priced shuttle service from the hotel to the airport at approx $3. No frills value overall.

Defnitely worth staying here for a great rest!

Very nice for a night in transit or even a few nights and much less expensive than the airport hotel. It is only 15 to 20 minutes away even during rush hour and well worth it! Everything was very clean and the raindrop shower was lovely! The only thing I would suggest is alarm clocks in the room or for them to let you know they have a wake up service. Their shuttle service is very reasonable but I didn't use it because I had Grab credits that I needed to use up before leaving. There was also a 24 hour restaurant which seem quite lively although when I arrived at my room on the 1st Floor right beside it, I couldn't hear anything and had a terrific few hours sleep before continuing my journey.

Firm bed, nice pillows resulted in a good night's sleep. Hot water is really hot but shower water does spill out into the rest of bathroom as its a screenless shower. Not enough slope to the drain. No soap for shower unless you want yo use the liquid soap from hand basin.

Reasonably quite given it's on a busy road and under flight path.

Plenty of food options and shopping mall close by. Close to airport another positive.
