It's a place to stay

Hotel is very dated. Bedroom only had 2 functioning lights.
Bed moved away from wall when sitting on it.
Bathroom design was awful making the whole room a wet room. Hot water was scalding for about 30 seconds before turning into an ice bath.
Internet was patchy and kept turning off and on again, also very slow.
Random noises overnight including door beeping/alarming and what sounds like water flooding/dripping when other toilets flush.

The place is very average, but the bed wa comfortable. The price for early check in was not disclosed and ended up being almost the entire previous nights stay. After reluctantly paying that then they tell me the room allocated to me is still occupied so I can’t check in early unless I pay even more to ‘upgrade’ to a better room. Icing on the cake was no hot water. At least the ac worked and was cold. Would I stay here again? Absolutely not.

The place is okay and close to airport. It's okay if you are traveling alone. If you are travel as a family/group, it will be a big disappointment. The room is extremely small and crowded. Barely have any place to walk. The receptionist was not friendly and short with you while checking in. Beside shampoo and body wash, there's nothing else. No toothpaste/brush. We have 3 people in the room and asked for one extra pillow since we have only 2 in the room. They responded that each pillow will coat 5rm. Everything about this hotel is about hidden fee. Such a scam 😒. Never come here again.

The sheets were stained, the checkin staff were uncommunicative, the room smelled of smoke, and there were limited dining or shopping options. We tried to get food delivered by Grab, but even that was canceled by the restaurant. Our room key stopped working for no reason and we had to get it fixed. At one point, somebody opened our door, but couldn’t get in because of the lock chain. I assume that was the cleaning staff. They could have knocked.

I’m not disappointed. It was very cheap accommodation, so I wasn’t expecting much.

Missed a connecting flight in KL so booked this hotel last minute. On check in, the staff weren’t overly enthusiastic, but gave me the information I needed and everything went smoothly.

The hallways/lobby etc. are quite dingy and don’t seem clean. My room had tons of tiny bugs all over it, and I also saw a number of those bugs in the hallways.
The toilet in my room flushed one time, after that it wouldn’t work to flush again. I stayed for two nights, and on my second day, my key card stopped working. I brought it to the front desk and it just needed to be reprogrammed, but not sure why that happened.
The hotel does have a laundry room which was convenient, and it was a cheap price for such short notice. It was also close to the airport which was good.
Overall though, the dirty feeling, the bugs, and the toilet breaking make me unlikely to stay at this hotel again.

Nothing unique about Youniq. The staff is unhelpful and unprofessional. The stay was unpleasant and the people were not hospitable. Uses asthetics od the lobby to lure travelers in only to find the sleeping quarters unkept and unfit. The mattress was dirty, and I saw bedbugs. I paid for the room and only stayed 1 hour before moving to another hotel. I don’t recommend any westerner staying at this place. Spend an extra $5 and keep your piece of mind.

My room was very noisy bcos it was by the roadside. I can sleep very easily, so it was ok for me though it was seriously noisy. If u r a light sleeper, u would have regretted booking the room. The owner should have done something about making it sound proof.

Short distance away from klia2. staff friendly. No issue of finding food around the hotel. However, no welcoming drinks and no hair dryer inside the room and has to take from the counter so inconvenient. More importantly, the transport pick up is inconvenient because our arrival time is around 920pm,hotel unable to pick up. Reasons being our flight may delay . Therefore, we need to take our own cab to the hotel ourselves. Do our AirAsia flight always delay and how often ? Can the hotel pick up at 11pm ?

A Hotel that is Only Best for Stopover Stays

Hotel staffs not very helpful.

Remember to have your meals and buy your stuffs at the airport before hotel check-in.
Hotel is along the side of the highway, and there are very limited choice for food and no entertainment within walking distance.

The rooms are air conditioned but the air-con unit is loud and noisy.

Airport pick-up and drop-off timings are limited.
Hotel staffs do not entertain to any other Airport pick-up and drop-off timings, even though the driver is idling at a corner.
Note that someone near the entrance will try to sell you a taxi despite the hotel providing shuttle service.
You can opt for private-hire car services if you really need to travel elsewhere.

The rooms are air conditioned but the rest of the hotel is not.

This hotel is approximately 20 min away from the airport by taxi.
Airport pick-up request must be submitted 48 hours before arrival time.

Airport drop-off timings are only available up to 12pm.
Someone near the entrance will try to sell you a taxi despite the hotel providing shuttle service.

The area is along the side of the highway in a set of about 6 buildings, there are very little choice for food and no entertainment within walking distance.
Please have your meals and buy your stuffs at the airport before hotel check-in.

Hotel was surprisingly great especially for the price. The only bad thing is the area - it is far from the MRT and need to get a taxi.

Stayed at youniQ hotel the night of the recent Malaysian Grand Prix. We were able to drop our luggage off early before heading to the Sepang circuit. Check in when we arrived back was quick and effortless.
The hotel organised a shared airport drop-off early the next morning.

It was great to be back after 2 years. The service is reliable...airport pick up & drop off great for timing & efficiency. Love the bunk beds for our children so that is real practical for a family room. It is getting a little run down..taps leaking, clean but old towels, stained cups. It is overall clean & comfortable for a family & serves it purpose of being near airport, offering reliable transport to & from the airport at a great price.

Stayed at this hotel for one night on the way to Koh Samui and another night on the way back, bt never again. The rooms are like shoe boxes, the staff are just not interested and spent most of their time on their phones. The rooms are air conditioned but the rest of the hotel isn't. We decided to sit down in the lobby as there really isn't a nice area to sit and relax after your flight so happy I had the mozzie spray as I would have been eaten alive. Be aware that people are coming and going all night and most do not have the decency to try and do so quietly. All in all a really bad hotel that I will definitely avoid next time

Value for money, good option for transport to airport etc (with its own taxi company onsite). Loud by a road, AC loud. We didn't have hot water on the two occasions we showered staying one night. But it served its purpose for one night, would not stay there longer though. Water machines in hallway which is good. We also had two instant coffee sachets given (3 in 1)- why the hell assume I like sugar and milk in my coffee? I like it the exact opposite way: strong black and no sugar. Did not have coffee that morning until we arrived at KLIA1

Awful area and generally poor experience

Would NOT suggest this hotel! Spend more money and stay somewhere else! This hotel is approximately 20 min away from the airport by taxi and the shuttle bus is a nightmare to arrange for pickups. The area is absolutely awful (along the side of the highway in a set of about 6 buildings) with very little choice for food and absolutely no entertainment. In fact, we were concerned for our safety as there were some people just wandering around outside the hotel and the area was very very bad. Hotel itself wasn't particularly clean and someone will try to sell you a taxi despite the free shuttle. Overall, a terrible experience. Likely dangerous, rather dirty, and ramen for dinner out of a plastic cup.

Cheap enough but , was the worst place we stayed .

Just stayed for a few hours , 2pm til 8.30 pm . the room was really basic , even the bed situation was a ordinary mattress on some timber structure ! very small area . It was probably ok for what we needed , but I will not return to this hotel . You think that the hotels in the area are convenient for getting access to the airport , but they need to take some detour to get there !! So in fact it's much longer overall than getting a taxi from KLCC. Live and learn !!! Hope that this is useful for others .

The transport facility is what we really recommend to others, as it is affordable and very on time. But the comfort isn't quite what we expected. Luckily we were just staying here for a quick nap.

This is my second time at the hotel. The shuttle from the sirport was convenient and affordable. The check in was quick but the only bad thing I notice about the hotel staff they don't help you carry your luggage which it took me long time to carry my 3 big luggage from the lobby to the lift then from the lift to my room. Anyhow the one that I look forward everytime I stay here is the room. The ambience is cozy and I like the room's design. Plus they offer a fast wifi in the rooms.

Though the hotel staff was very friendly and efficient, the hotel left a lot to be desired. Our room was dirty and had not been cleaned properly, counter dirty and sticky. It is located on a highway that is rather loud throughout the night. Though our shuttle left before we could try the breakfast (4:00 a.m), it was already laid out. It was a Asian breakfast that had a very strong smell. Not western friendly.

Hands down the worst place I've ever stayed in my life. The staff were rude, the WiFi didn't work, the transfer service from the airport was late and never contacted us to explain so we just assumed he was a no-show. The hotel might as well have no lights its so poorly lit, and the decor is absolutely revolting. At best this is at best a very poor quality backpackers.

Decent hotel for a layover

We booked this hotel for a layover as it was close to the airport and a reasonable price. It was a 10-15 minute drive from KLIA2 and cost approximately 13 MYR using UBER.

The reception was abrupt and unfriendly, handing us the room key without any welcome or explanations. When we asked about the free breakfast she said it was not included with our Expedia booking. When we showed her that Expedia indicated free breakfast with our booking she reluctantly said we could have toast only and nothing else unless we paid. The room was small and what would be expected for a budget hotel. Overall this is a decent place for a quick layover.

The hotel is very well located in close proximity to the airport, and major tollways. Fair transportation arangement, pretty decent and fast. Internet was super fast and surprisingly fullhouse at most of times. Room was clean and modest but quite comfortable. For rooms that are facing the main road, it is quite disturbing at night from the roaring sound of the lorries making their ways at night. Pleasant mediocre stay for backpackers, stop-over flyers and travellers. They even provide shuttle services. Good job.

OK if you want a sleepless night

Not impressed at all. We didn't find out till late that the room was terribly noisy, road noise in particular. There is a small area by the front window that is open to the street and has a thin hollow door to the room. On the outside wall sit four, 4 air conditioner units, so them running plus the road traffic noise until very late (like 1am at least) made for a sleepless night. Then around midnight a noisy family moves into the adjoining room which has a joining thin wooden hollow core door, hardly sound proof. The family were noisy but did quieten down a bit after I banged on the joining door. I phoned reception and asked if there was a quiet room, she said she would see what she could do and get back to me, needless to say I didn't hear back. The next morning I complained to the guy in reception, telling him what had gone on. He just shrugged his shoulders and smiled, very unprofessional to say the least. We will not be back and can't really recommend to people.

Nice transit hotel for a night

Its a nice stay, check in was fast. Hotel/room was fresh to the eyes as it got designs that i never seen before. The only thing that i'm concern is thickness off the wall to the other room. I can hear talking, laughing and people walking from the other room as if the wall are made of cardboard. I was given a joint room during my stay and maybe that's the cause. They have a very nice comfy bed to sleep on at night

The staff needed training to be more professional. During check-in, the receptionist did not smile or greet us. After I went to my room, I found that there was only one double bed. I booked a room for 3. So I called the reception to ask why there was only 1 double bed when there should be 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. A male answered and he said: \"pull out\" without further explanation. I put down the phone and went to find for the pull out bed. Then I called again and asked why the room was different from before when there were 1 queen and 1 single. This time the receptionist (a female) told me to bring down my booking voucher to the counter and let her see. I did so. She said \"This is a 3-convertible and so it is pull out.\" Then she just played with her handphone while i was still standing at the counter. Incredibly rude!!! Not going to stay in this hotel again.

A little dingy overall

Really strange room in a weird strip mall near the airport. I booked this because I had a very early flight, but it was not very comfortable. The bed is just a mattress on a weird platform. The bathroom was fairly spacious and had a good hot shower. They have an airport shuttle but it was already all booked up by the time I checked in.

The hotel is located conveniently near the KLIA Airport and Sepang International Circuit.
The hotel is situated off one of the main toll roads in a complex with a bar at the front and an excellent Indian restaurant around the corner.
The breakfast had a good choice of food.
The hotel room I stayed in was supposed to be a triple, however it was a double bed with a trundle bed underneath. The room looked nothing like the professional photos, with the bed and furniture looking a bit tired and the room needed a good clean. I even clean the air conditioning filters my self as they were blocked.
The hotel does not seem to have no smoking rooms and as such the room I was in absolutely stunk of residual cigarette smoke. I tried to change rooms, however on the night I stayed the hotel was booked out and the front office staff tried to explain the smell on mosquito fogging! After spraying the room with air freshener the room continued to smell so I had a most interrupted and uncomfortable sleep. Therefore I would not recommend this hotel unless you are a smoker.

Good for flight layover

Suitable for a flight layover.. 50 RM for taxi or 11 transfer airport pickup timing not clear.
Breakfast choices poor. Otherwise may stay again.

Need a stay near the airport?

We required a hotel near the airport since we had an early morning flt out of KLIA2. The youniQ did serve this purpose pretty well, in particular their shuttle service for a small fee from/to the airport. Room was also quite comfy considering we paid a reasonable price. All in all: Value for money

good for one night, close to the airport

I had one night in a double (with partner) and one night in a single room.
Unfortunately it was not possible to stay in the same room :-(
I had to check out and check in new in the afternoon.
Double room was very loud because of the highway, Single room had only window to the aisle.
Cheaper airport shuttle only available with 3 Persons or more :-(
We had to take the taxi (More expensive) :-(

Sound proof of the room is very poor. Even people at the next room conversation can be heard clearly if they speak a little bit louder. And the location not so near as mentioned (1.++km). But the design of the hotel quite nice. Can be improved again and the toiletries can be added somemore. Many things were lacked.
