Our stay here was good. Everywhere was very walkable, yet the hotel was in a nice quiet area away from the noise. Our room was lovely and precious and staff were very helpful. Our one complaint was that our room was on the ground floor right by the pool and it got noisy from time to time.

Staff are excellent and its all very laid back. Rooms are large and well equipped. No safe in the room but didnt feel like an issue. Very quiet and comfortable hotel, with wide selection at breakfast. Used them for airport drop off and a day trip. About 10 mins max walk into the centre either by river or on road. Lots of fining options within 5 mins

The Banana Garden Villa is a gem. We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay. Tinh, Linh, Canh, Son, Tam, Viet and all the other staff were friendly, helpful, professional and welcoming. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The daily breakfast was delicious with good variety of foods. We loved the pool and access to bicycles. The location was quiet but walkable to Old Town. We would definitely stay here again.

Our rooms were located right above the kitchen / dining area. This meant that from 6am when staff started to prepare meals for the morning breakfast, we would hear the preparation of food. I would suggest that when you book, you request to be far from the dining area.

Amenities could be better cleaned as not everything is wiped down properly.

Good location, not too far drive from Hoi An Old Town. Or a short 20 minutes leisurely walk.

We enjoyed our stay at Banana Garden Villa. They provided free bikes and that was wonderful to be able to see the city riding than walking. We were able to keep the bike for the whole day ❤️. The room was basic with a comfortable bed. We had a balcony overlooking the kitchen area. The way the shower set up made the bathroom all wet after a shower. Breakfast was limited but tasty and we had to order the night before. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay again.

The Hotel Villa is definitely a hidden gym. Just on the fringe of the main old town area (20mins easy walk), is quiet and relaxing.
The staff is very friendly, accomodating, and helpful.
Great pools to relax and chill in after a long day on tour or walking around the shops.

Cute, quaint property. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. They made sure our stay was very comfortable. The rooms were very spacious for my party of 7. They arranged all of our transportation and before heading to the airport, they opened breakfast 30 minutes earlier to make sure that we had a meal before our departure. I would highly recommend if you are looking for more boutique accommodations.

The team at Banana Garden Villas, lead by the fantastic Ling, are the best! Absolutely nothing was a problem and all seemed happy and welcoming everyday. As a solo older traveller I was very much at home here, for 4 nights Reasonably priced with lovely staff, who communicated very well at all times. The breakfast covered most preferences. The pool was lovely to be in after a hot days sightseeing...Away from the hustle of the old town but close enough to walk along the riverside to and eating places.

My family of 6 booked the family interconnecting rooms and they were lovely and spacious for the 5 nights we stayed.
The pools were nice and refreshing after a ride around town on their bicycles .
Breakfast in the morning had plenty of fresh fruit, western food as well as Vietnamese.
The location was perfect for watching boats on the river with plenty of restaurants to choose from also a nice walk to old town.

We had a nice stay at the Banana Garden Villa and the staff were all really lovely. Our room was clean and spacious but it did have a musty smell to it, probably from how humid it gets outside. The breakfast was good, a decent amount of options with made to order eggs your way. The location is really great, it’s near the river and just a few minutes walk down the path to the old town! Overall we had a great stay!

I spent 4 night at Banana Garden Villa and I wish I could have spent more!
The room was very spacious, bright and with a lovely balcony.
The hotel is beautiful, with two outdoor pools, a tiny gym and very friendly staff.
Breakfast was great, good buffet and possibility to have freshly cooked eggs.
Complimentary bikes - the ancient area is about 2 km distance - and possibility to rent motorbikes straight at the hotel for very convenient rates. 5 stars!

Excellent helpful and friendly reception staff - helped us book trips, were very knowledgeable about anything we asked and always checked up on how our tours or day went giving a very personal touch. They sourced taxis, looked after items we got delivered and sorted laundry for us. Excellent English too. Breakfast was great - the freshly made banana pancakes were our favourite. The location was great - very close to Hoi an memories show and about a 20 minute walk to the main market area, but on a quiet road so very peaceful. There are also free bikes which made cycling a bit further out very convenient. The room and facilities were pretty standard, always clean and in good condition. Only criticism was the shower did take a long time to warm up! Thanks for a wonderful stay, I’d definitely recommend staying for your Hoi an trip.

A lovely 10-15 minute stroll into the old town and a short cycle/Grab/electric buggy to the beach which you must visit.

Such a great stay. Linh from the reception was there for us literally from our arrival until departure.
Such a great level of service.
We traveled with our two kids 12&14. The pool is nice and clean, the rooms are spacious and clean. We enjoyed much the extra service of the free bikes, even the day of check out after check out.
Distance to city is also walkable, location is quite with several food options around.

I can’t wait to stay here again, I think it will be my consistent hotel stay in Hoi An. Friendly staff, clean and tidy rooms, quiet hotel and close to the market which is within walking distance but I also liked to go by push bike which is available to hire for free at the hotel. All my tour and taxi needs were arranged by the helpful concierge staff. Buffet breakfast was amazing with an omlette/egg stand. Really good selection of snacks in room and mini fridge is stocked with great selection of drinks. Thank you sincerely for everything, I hope to be back staying here real soon.

All I have are wonderful things to say about this hotel especially the staff. They were welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay. They went above and beyond by making my daughter a special concoction ready for her morning and night everyday to help her cough. They made us feel part of the family right from the start. We loved our stay at Banana Garden Hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the breakfast was great and the room (received an upgrade) was large with both a shower and a bath tube. The hotel has 2 swimming pools and a small gym with some weights, a bike and treadmills. They also offer pish-bikes free of charge for you to explore the city or in our case we have walked everywhere. It's only a 15 minutes or less walk to the centre of Hoi An Old Town, so you can easily explore Hoi An by foot.

Overall, a great stay and I would recommend people visiting Hoi An to consider / stay at Banana Garden.

We chose this property for its clean aesthetic and proximity to ancient town. While those two factors were indeed excellent upon our arrival, we were more so impressed by the kindness of the staff at Banana Garden. Each staff member was friendly and attentive to our needs. The concierge provided excellent recommendations for tailors and spas, and the included cooked-to-order breakfasts were lovely. We'd highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a hotel away from the busy ancient town, but within a ~10 minute bike ride from it. The hotel also offers free bike rentals, which we'd recommend using to ride to An Bang beach and ancient town. Thank you to the staff!

We are two families of 8 total, had to book one night at Banana Garden Villa before moving to another hotel previously booked in Hoi An.
Agreeably, we stay in 2 Two bed-room Family Pool View with balcony. They are clean, largely spacious for all of us. Breakfast is good. Staff is excellent. Nothing more to say since we checked in late at night and checked out the next morning.
Highly recommend tho.

Die beschriebene Barrierefreiheit war nicht ganz zutreffend, aber die einzelnen stufen zum frühstücksraum und zum zimmer wurden schnell mit großer Kreativität mit improvisierten Rampen überbrückt. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und dennoch recht zentral, 15 min Fußweg zur Altstadt.

Very nice 2 br family suite. To be clear, our family suite was two large adjoining rooms with a queen plus full bed in each room. In retrospect, we could have easily had our family of 2 adults, 2 kids in one of these rooms, so take this in consideration when booking. Like-new rooms/beds here, and large balconies.

The staff is great, very friendly and accommodating, we were greeted with fresh juice while we checked in and all requests were quickly granted. Two pools, and the included breakfast buffet was really quite good with made to order eggs, pho, and a variety of local and western-style options.

The location was fine, a bit out of the center of Hoi
An. Definitely walkable but expect about 20 minutes to get to the main area. Transport via Grab very easy and affordable though.

However we had a fantastic stay, pool was great and Lynn at reception was fabulous. Unfortunately hotels.com did let me down as I had booked the room with my child who was eight years old, and when I arrived at reception I had to pay extra as she was over 5y this was not clear on my booking.

This hotel was above our expectations considering the price per night at aus$35 per night.

The room was huge with a balcony. It had a king bed and a king single. The room was very clean.

The property had two pools.

The included breakfast was nice.

It was in easy walkinng distance to town and had complimentary bicycles for exploring.

Very disappointing room

The room we had was NOT AT ALL like the pictures, the balcony door was covered with some type of blue sticking paper, so basically, no window.
The door handle was loose, and the wardrobe handle was off its hook, with a screw sticking out. No reading light whatsoever (again, contrarily to the pictures), only very bright ceiling lighting. They definitely need to update the rooms, and/or adjust the pictures to show the true look of the rooms. There are lots of better options in that neighborhood in the same price range.

The staff were amazing. Nothing was too much for them. The lovely gentleman who helped with bags etc was amazing also. The rooms were spacious and suited our short stay. I loved this hotel. Totally recommended.

They staff was super nice, they let me check in a little early cause the room was ready and I was there. They let me use the pool and bike after my check out.

Overall we very much enjoyed our stay here and feel the hotel is very good value for what you spend. That being said, we did find that the photos of the hotel are a bit misleading. Cons: there was water damage and mold, in the bathroom and into the bedroom (we travelled with two other couples who had the same in their rooms) and many of the pool loungers are ripped. Our keycard wasn’t working properly and we had to wait a few minutes while the door beeped every time we tried to get into our room, other rooms didn’t have this issue, and the hotel was aware of this and did get it fixed on our last day. Our friends all had inconsistent hot water throughout the stay as well. Pros: the rooms are large and spacious, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel had bikes that we could borrow, which was a lot of fun and super convenient and the breakfast had a good spread of options and really yummy banana pancakes. The hotel was also great with helping us to organize tours and transport

There was transport from the airport towards the hotel even though we were arriving late. The room is big and clean. The area itself is relatively quiet and in a 15min walk you are in the ancient town. Good location and very friendly and helpful staff.

Our 5 night stay here was enjoyable. The property is really good value for money. All the staff were very helpful, even arranging laundry by the kg and tours for us. Breakfast had great selection with an on demand egg/pancake bar. Old quarter was about a 20 min walk along the river which felt safe to walk along even after 9 or 10 pm. You can start to see the wear and tear of the building (our AC was set to 16 but the room never really got below 22-24), but aside from that, would stay again!

The location was walkable to the town, restaurants and river lantern boats. A bike journey to the other attractions sych as coconut boats.
