This property is lovely. It is right on the river with a great view and slightly away from the craziness of central area. The room has tile floors and is very large. AC works great. The breakfast was plentiful and made to order and the coffee was great too. I appreciated all the info that was provided to us as well the free use of bikes! Also the pool was perfect temperature and we always got a spot on the chairs.
I would definitely stay here again.

Loved our stay here.... Very small boutique hotel, with the most amazing location!
The staff were the friendliest we met in our entire Vietnam trip - & English was really good! And their kids are totally cute!
Travelled with one teen, so in the family room which had plenty of room.
A few minor upgrades needed in the bedroom - (lamp shades were tatty), but overall it was a very cheap clean stay.
Lots of lovely cafes within walking distance.
Unfortunately the weather wasn't the greatest so we didn't use the pool or the bikes, which was a bit disappointing.
Breakfast selection was only small, but sufficient and there was a small menu to choose something freshly cooked off.
Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I will absolutely stay here again. Everyone was extremely accommodating. Location was perfect overlooking the river. Walkable to Old Town and pretty much everything. Bikes available, too. The only things that I wish were better were the WIFI in my room (working occasionally, so you have to go to the lobby area to get a stronger signal), and the ability to take a longer hot shower. Hot water was available, but in limited amounts for the shower. But well intentioned, of course, for preservation reasons. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel as an option. Huge room too with a nice balcony. Staff was incredibly helpful throughout with great restaurant suggestions. Got drop off/pickup laundry done there, too.

Small Boutique hotel on the edge of Old Town on quiet street. We booked a Riverside balcony room for two nights and fell in love with the area, the hotel and the staff, and stayed an extra night.

Room was as advertised with balcony and great view.

Nice quality bedding on a standard extra firm bed found in most hi humidity locations.

We absolutely loved this hotel. It was charming with a beautiful view on the river where we could watch the boats on our balcony. It was just enough distance to avoid the mayhem of the tourist hustle and bustle but close enough to stroll to it along the river with plenty of shops and food along the way. The staff were amazing and the size of our room spacious and clean. We took advantage of the free bikes to ride across the river to look at the farms and villages and ride to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

It is a easy walk to the main Hoi An areas and if you bought too many things to carry, a golf cart ride back is only ~$2 US. The balcony view of the river with lantern boats at night is very nice. Hotel is by the river with good views. It located 7 minutes walking to the ancient town. Lot of restaurants and cafe nearby.

Hien was an absolute gem to meet. She is so positive and upbeat and shared a bunch of recommendations that my children would probably enjoy and how to save some money doing them. We shared stories about her son and my boys and really just enjoyed her company. The hotel itself was in a great location facing the river. It is a small hotel and maybe better suited for couples and solo travelers because the hotel itself was very quiet and any kid sounds my boys made required quick attention. The pool was well taken care of and so refreshing in the hot afternoons too! Would I come back here? Absolutely! I would just leave my kids at home! Hien has 10/10 customer service!

The best hotel we have stayed in while visiting Vietnam. Nothing was a hassle for the staff, the hotel is clean and well maintained. Close distance to walk to markets, restaurants and pubs. This was our third time here and we went with a group of friends. The service was very special and the pool was an oasis in between walks and trips around HoiAn. They looked after all of us very well.

Stayed for 2 nights. Room was spacious with great air conditioning. Shower was decent with no issues with hot water. No issues with noise. Found the bed to be a little hard for our taste. We had a room on the second floor. Breakfast was small but very good. Staff are great. So friendly and helpful. Within walking distance to many sites and restaurants.

We had the chance to meet Hien, who did everything she could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. This is not a big hotel with 200 rooms and you can clearly see the difference. I would really recommend this place if you are looking for a conveninent and amazing location. I would come back without a doubt if I'm in the area again.

Great location and service

Hotel was great, service was amazing, breakfast was delicious and location was perfect. Bikes were available for use during the day which made getting around very easy. Found our room to be too warm for us, but otherwise the room was very comfortable.

Beautiful setting for this hotel, right on the riverside, and within walking distance of the old town. Hien made us feel so welcome and gave us tips on shops to visit and activities to do while in Hoi An. She even hand wrote a list of information for us to keep and looked after us like a mother for the whole of our stay.

Just under a month in Vietnam this was our favorite hotel in nine ncities for several reasons. The location is direct riverfront and at night all the tourist boats cruise up and down the river all lit up with multicolored lights. The patio is a great place for sipping drinks day or night. Every employee we interacted with was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast team will custom cook you just about anything you want and do it well. Front desk Hein is a joy to be around will help you book all your needs. Hotel owner Loi is a hands on multifaceted individual who is repairing a light fixture one minute and making you an amazing frozen drink the next and always with a smile. Our room was a large attic unit facing the river with a great high walled walk out balcony. Great a/c, hot water. I have nothing negative to say about my stay. Every day was fantastic. Highly recommend.

This was a great experience for me. The hotel is small...I think 11 rooms...and it sits right on the river with a walking path (paved) along the river that leads to the old market in Hoi An. The staff...well, I would marry them if I could. They were such a delight and were so helpful to me in finding restaraunts, optometrist, and motorcycle rental at a moments notice. Free breakfast every morning, which was always followed by me sitting in the outdoor eating area and watching the boats going by. And the most touching part...when it was time for me to go to the airport, my ride showed up and the staff followed me out to the car and said goodbye.

Very lovely hotel within walking distance to the old town. You can either walk along the river or through the town.
Room is large and clean. As per the photos, the shower / toilet are separated from the bedroom by a frosted glass which might be off putting for some.
Breakfast option and dining room are great. It includes a small buffet as well as made to order eggs, pancakes. The lady at the reception is very savvy about everything in Hoi An. Lovely to relax by the pool.
Definitely recommend this boutique hotel versus cheaper options available in the new part of Hoi An town.

We had a wonderful stay and will definitely stay here on our next visit to Hoi An. The location is beautiful and just a couple of blocks from the old town, which is perfect because it’s just outside of the chaos and a short walk away. The river is so beautiful and the pool is lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful in any way needed. I loved my banana pancakes every morning too.

Great place just outside the ancient town

Riverside Whitehouse was a great place to stay just outside the hussle and bussle of the ancient town. It is an easy walk into town. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The AC worked great and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast included breads, fruit, and cook to order eggs, pancakes and other food. The staff was very helpful in recommending specific tours, restaurants and coffee shops. I highly recommend staying here! My attic room was perfect (although I didnt have a balcony view) for me. Note there is no elevator, so access to all rooms are via stairs.

Great Boutique hotel

Fabulous boutique hotel with the best staff!! They are so friendly and helpful with whatever you need!
Breakfast is fresh made with lots of choices.
The location is perfect with it being walkable to many restaurants, old town and both the Memories show snd the bamboo circus.

After a few days in Ho Chi Minh City this hotel was a wonderful break from the noise and constant motion. The room had a wonderful balcony on the river and was located on a smaller street in the old town. A quick walk along the river and you were in the middle of the action.
The staff is wonderful and so helpful in answering our questions. Next time we visit we will definitely stay here again.

Loved the view from our room. Very roomy and comfortable, love that it’s along the river walk making the trek into town more peaceful and less chaotic versus the busy street! Hien was a wonderful concierge. I’d describe this hotel as comfortable, simple, relaxing. Perhaps not so friendly to those who aren’t ok with a flight or two of stairs (we did not mind). Highly recommend!

We only had one night in Hoi An, and would have loved to stay longer! The best people run this hotel and it’s beautifully placed right next to the river. The room had a great view, the pool was nice, and they also made good cocktails. It’s a bit of a walk to down town but it’s easy with good views along the way. Our group of three booked 2 rooms and will definitely stay on our next trip to Vietnam.

However, the property itself is beautiful and close to the Old Town. I’d say here again and buy more bottled water with significant irritation.

The hotel is a bit far from the main attractions, but it is walkable. The reception is excellent and it was the only hotel in Vietnam that provided information about the attraction, map, rest recommendations. The room is great and big and has a beautiful view.

We had a great experience here. Hein made it even better with her wonderful assistance and advice. It was in a prime location, very clean and a good breakfast. The best was each day waking up and looking at the river. Room 101 looked directly over the river, it was definitely a good choice staying here. Staff were exceptional. Highly recommend. The room was very basic and the beds were very hard. The bathroom was poorly designed and flooded after every use. The staff were friendly but this was a very basic hotel and overpriced. I did not want to stay longer than one night but was refused a refund. Not sure if this was because of the hotel refusing or wotif just wanting to keep my money. On the whole it was a disappointing experience.

Fantastic Stay

A short walk from the hustle and bustle of the old town, this hotel is a hidden gem. The staff instantly makes you feel welcome. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Hein especially , was excellent. She took the time to show us where to shop, where to eat, etc. It was extremely helpful :) She always took the time to greet as us as we were coming or going. It made us feel special :) The rooms are LARGE, clean and have a great view of the river. Our expectations were totally exceeded. We whole-heartedly recommend the Riverside White House Hotel. 1000 stars!!!

The Hotel was close walking distance to the Old Town yet faraway from the hustle and bustle of the Old Town. The property is quiet and has a lovely outlook to the river.
