New Dawn Hotel Review

My stay at the New Dawn Hotel was a wonderful experience and a great introduction to hospitality in the Philippines. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable, which made my stay very pleasant.

I reserved a room with a beautiful city view that was both relaxing and refreshing. Each morning, the sunlight filled the room and greeted the day in a peaceful way, making every morning especially enjoyable.

The weather during my stay was excellent, which made the experience even better. I also truly enjoyed the food and beverages served at the hotel. One of my favorites was the hot chocolate, which was made from real cacao and tasted authentic and delicious. If I could have brought some home with me, I definitely would have.

Overall, the New Dawn Hotel provided a memorable stay filled with comfort, relaxation, and genuine hospitality. It is an experience I will always remember.

There are a number of great restaurants nearby, which was very convenient. We also received welcome drinks at the rooftop bar, which was a nice touch. However, service at the bar was slow, and my mum eventually had to approach the bartender to ask about our drinks. To be fair, it was a busy day, but management may want to address staffing levels during peak times.The room was a decent size and comfortable overall, although the toilet could have been cleaner.

Poorly maintained facilities and standard.

I stayed here a few years back when they were still finishing the building. The facilities were in all good working order. Now, not to much. We were visiting for my sister's 50th. We booked 6 rooms between us and ALL rooms had no towels in them!!! Considering we checked in around 4pm, you'd think housekeeping would have the time to prepare the towels, but no! We had a birthday party to host at 6pm so we went to freshen up/shower. Had to stand wet post showering as it took about 30 minutes to bring in the towel.
After the birthday party, past midnight, couldn't get any sleep as one of the lights switch was broken so couldn't turn it off. For its price point (around 40 gbp), not worth it really. I imagine you can get better hotels to stay in. Would not stay again.

The staff were attentive and friendly though.

The hotel is new built and convenient to walk around near by restaurants. Although they do not have their own parking garage and have to park in a gas station property which probably they have rented. Overall is a nice hitel. Also i was disappointed that thier iwn restaurants was closed on our checked in dates.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and had a very unpleasant experience. There was no bellman to assist with luggage, and on my first night, I found a mouse in the room. The walls and floors, especially in the bathroom, were dirty. The water had a rust-like smell, and there was a sewer-like odor in the room, which made it very uncomfortable. I had to request air freshener to try and mask the smell. Overall, it was an uncomfortable stay, and I would not return or recommend this hotel to others.

Pros: Good price. Room has the usual ammenties. Center of the city. Laundry nearby. Three malls nearby. Jollibee right next door.

Cons: the elevator requires your room key to use, this can be an issue if youre trying to reach friends on a different floor. Otherwise, it increases safety.

Room was a bit dusty (including bed sheets). The walls aslo had some cob webs. I typically stay at this hotel but in their premier rooms which I like but this standard room was a bit of a disappointment. Lighting was dark in the room and the bed it self was half decent when it came to comfort. The staff also was not as helpful on this trip (even thought they usually are) cause it took them a long time to even come and replace the dusty bed sheets. My food also took longer than usual to arrive, and when it did, it was luke warm...

I have no problem staying there again but only their premier room. Still worth a visit if you're on a budget.

I like the rooftop the menu can be expanded more.
My room in1701 is supposed to be an executive room but the bathroom is none of that. Shower is rusty and the shower floor is also dirty the whole bathroom area is not good for being an executive room. You can hear the loud noise from your next room, noise from the traffic.the management could have mitigate the noise by sound proofing the window.
Shout out to the people that work here (front desk, bellman, and the people in the breakfast buffet and cleaning staff) great job guys!
Ps. The management should invest in Vacuum cleaner to clean the floor instead of a broom.

The roof top restaurant was very nice. The location was perfect, I would get up and jog in the streets in the morning. The building is old and worn a bit. The original room that I recieved had dirty sheets. But I was able to get a clean room and bed. The television does not have any channels. But the location and views make up for it. Everyone was great, except the security guard for the front door who was grumpy. Must of been having a bad day.

Second visit but disappointed sadly

Booked the executive room , it had kettle but no coffee or tea or biscuit sachets .
Wardrobe door jammed so could not access deposit safe . Reception changed the room and new room had no wardrobe doors so at least you could access safe . Towel rail in shower very rusty . Ran out of toilet roll no spare roll. Second day room cleaned again no drink sachets just the kettle and 2 water bottles . However we bought our own .
Another issue is hotels.com do not offer a breakfast option at this hotel but others booking in got breakfast . Why is the option not available . This is my second stay here this year but standards have dropped so I will not visit again . Bed was comfy but after a long journey i expected to be able to relax with a coffee and we even visited the restaurant but staff could not serve us before 5pm however we went behind hotel to a really nice tuna restaurant .
