The hotel location is close to the beach.
The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. They paid close attention to service and they were really polite and helpful throughout.
The room, beach view room, was nicely decorated and clean.
We actually got a trip back to Ho Chi Minh free of charge using their shuttle service, mentioned to us at check-in, which was incredibly helpful.
The buffet breakfast was very good. Wide variety of food, very good service throughout.

I recommend this hotel very highly. Thank you Vias Hotel; you were excellent.

The good stuff - transfer from HCM, polite and helpful staff, great selection at breakfast, beach across the road, a well-equipped gym and a lovely rooftop pool.
The not so good - huge influx of families on Friday evening so over the weekend there were children running up and down corridors, late at night and early morming. There also seems to be a design issue with the balcony railings. When it's very windy they vibrate and make a terrible noise - it's like being in a wind tunnel. When I spoke to reception about it, they offered me earbuds.

The rooms with ocean view were beautiful! We loved everything of the Vias hotel. We’re very impressed with the front desk staff, they are nice , pretty and very professional. Especially, the manager, I think her name is Emi Phuong ,she is nice and care about customers!she let us check in at 11am instead of 2 pm . Would recommend this hotel to friends and families!

The hotel was so great, The beach view and quick access to it was awesome. the food and variety at the included breakfast buffet was incredible.

One of the greatest bonuses of our stay was the staff. Once on the premises our treatment from them was incredible. There patients, care, friendship that they shared with my wife and i was so great. Thank you for this new family members we got to enjoy on this trip.
Our stay was originally for 3 days but we ended up extending our staying and enjoying all these many gifts for an extra few days.

Thank you so much for each and every person we had the opportunity to receive your care from while we had this great stay at the Visa hotel here in Vung Tau Vietnam.

enjoyed my stay at this hotel. location is good, right next to the beach and 10 min walk to Tam Thang Square. Hotel comes with a skybar pool and gym. There are amazing views of the ocean (and morning sunrise) from my room!

Staff are also friendly and the service is great. Amazingly, they also arrange complimentary transport to and from Ho Chi Minh City every day!

The place has lots of positive and negatives.The breakfast menu buffet is the highlight,fresh,variety and always well stocked big thanks to resturant crew.Our room was on 15th floor corner which gave us amazing views ,room service and house keeping were fast and efficient.the safe was locked i asked twice they never opened so i gave up.There was an ant issue around the mini bar and coffee machine,anything sweet was invaded by ants,which i reported to reception in writing.The bed was a bit to firm for my liking woke up sore everyday.The rooftop pool is excellent but very disappointed it closes at 6 pm and after being out all day its great to have a swim ,but they ask you to get out.The pool bar stays open but cannot swim i find this crazy as i payed for this enjoyment. The elevator is very slow especially on weekends.The hotel is in good condition and can see that money is being spent looking after it .Its way down end of town so a grab or taxi is needed to do everything ,there is no 24/7 convience,massage or decent eateries nearby.I didnt appreciate being woken at 7am everymorning by bells, sirens ,horns from all the foreshore construction which is directly below the building.didnt recieve upgrade,vip discounts that i am entitled to as expedia gold member,even charged me for a broken glass that broke in my hand,cutting me.

The checked-in process was greeted with a smile and quick. Were stayed three nights and four days. The hotel was cleaned and quieted. The rooms were nice and cleaned. Staffs were friendly and smiles. The breakfast buffet had decent varieties of selections. Our kids had a great time and said they want to stay here again next time we’re in Vung Tau. We definitely be back.

Dear Vias Manager,

I regret that I wasn’t able to meet you in person before we left Vung Tau, but I wanted to take a moment to express our family’s deepest gratitude for the truly exceptional service we received during our stay at Vias.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles from the door staff, and the front desk team welcomed us so kindly with drinks as they checked us in. Their positive energy and hospitality made us feel immediately at home.

We had originally booked a family room for four, but ended up with an extra guest. Your staff quickly arranged an additional bed for our son without hesitation — a small gesture that made a big difference.

The room was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable — we were truly impressed.

Now, I have to share something special. July 10th was my birthday, and honestly, no one in my family remembered (😂). But your staff did — and that small but thoughtful gesture meant the world to me. I turned to my wife and said, “Next time we’re in Vung Tau, we’re definitely staying here again.” It’s those little things that leave a lasting impression.

We travel often, but this was hands down one of the best hotel stays we’ve ever had.

And the food?
Beyond amazing.
The restaurant staff were just as warm and accommodating as the rest of the team, making every meal feel special.

We also left a small token of appreciation in the room for the housekeeping staff — their hard work

I loved everything about the hotel except for the noise that came from construction site (beach improvement) that happened 24 hours a day across the road from the hotel. Other than that, I’d give it 110% rating. The construction is a temporary inconvenience. The beach is only about 200 meters from the hotel. I’m going back next year

We had a fantastic experience at Vias Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. They offered food and water as soon as we stepped into the lobby. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and comfort of my room.

The room was spacious, well-decorated, and had all the amenities I needed – including fast Wi-Fi, a comfortable bed, and a beautiful view of the ocean. Housekeeping did an excellent job each day, ensuring everything stayed spotless. The staff know exactly what they're doing

The hotel's location was ideal – close to the beach, shops and other key attractions.

I really did enjoyed myself there. The hotel staff are beyond professional and polite. I absolutely loved the gym, especially no one was using it while I was there. The breakfast wasn’t bad. There is a little construction going on but didn’t effect me at all - for being a light sleeping. I did however wished the food by the pool and in the ruby resturant was a little different.

The Vias hotel certainly has the wow factor when checking in, great lobby. The room was excellent as were the facilities. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice, local and Western.

Obviously during the rennovations of the beach there is considerable upheaval in the immediate area outside the property but this didn't affect us too much. We enjoyed using the pool instead and appreciated the happy hour offers.

Some criticisms:

1) The hotel advertises as a non smoking hotel but allows smoking on the 4th floor garden during breakfast. The garden area is lovely, why spoil it with smokers? Also, it would have been nice to have access to this garden during the day, perhaps for afternoon tea?

2) Some of the staff were a little inexperienced and couldn't answer our questions about the locality. But all staff were friendly and tried to help make our stay lovely.

3) The pool changing area and toilets were a little inaccessible and out of the way. In bad weather when using the Sky Bar you had to go outside to get to the toilets - why not install a door from bar to toilets?

4) The bottled water smelt like it was contanimated when opened.

But these niggles aside we would highly recommend this hotel, especially when the beach rennovations have finished.

We booked 4 nights room with sea view I was a little dissapointed by the contruction on the beach when we checked in but the kitchen here is what makes the hotel 5 star. We stayed in many western 5 stars and vietnamese ones in 2025 and this one has one of the best kitchens. The breakfast food is well manicured and the taste isn't generic. They also keep the offerings fresh even late into the breakfast. The kitchen for dinner offered a wide range of well prepared food, the duck salad, pizza and burger were all well executed. I would come back here for their kitchen, sky bar pool. The beach was harder to access but not crowded. Vung Tau feels like they are trying to modernize to compete with other beach destinations and there is a lot of development. The roadsare very very wide, riding around is not too difficult and interacting with locals still is possible.

The bed itself is one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. I want one! The pillows also exceptional. I was only slightly annoyed with the different small lights in the room I could not turn off. Breakfast equally amazing!
The view was weird when I was there in January 2025 as the the beach in front of the hotel was all torn up but it will be beautiful in a few months

I stayed three nights at the VIS hotel in VUNGTAU. My room was well kept, people were for the most part very nice especially at breakfast. The breakfast was delicious with many nice servers and cooks. I had a nice spacious suite on the 15th floor with the sea view. No complaints really except for after three nights when I called reception to see if I could check out one hour later, the woman I spoke to said she could only give me 1/2 hour. That I needed to check out by 12:30. That dampened my spirit and I was checked out by 12:15. Not very generous.
Lastly there is a lot of construction going on in the front on the ocean side they are tearing down a huge hotel facility with plans to make a boardwalk or something like that but one could not enjoy the peace and quiet during the day because of all the construction. That's not the hotel's fault.
It is a very popular hotel for people who come in from HCMC for the weekend.

The property is great. Staff is really friendly and helpful. The gym is great and buffet. Getting around by taxi was easy and shops were about 5-8min away. Not the fault of the hotel but beach access is extremely limited at this time due to the demolition of existing older hotels on the beach. You have to walk about 1/4 mile past the construction for access to the beach. But I could not hear the construction going on from my room it was quiet. And the hotel has a very nice pool on the top floor.

At first, I was impressed when I was greeted. My room was nice. Until… I had a drainage problem and ant infestation along the tub. When I asked to be moved rooms, the receptionist gladly changed rooms and mentioned “we normally charge to switch rooms.” I already pre paid 5 nights. I expect more for a 5 star hotel. She asked me to give a look over at the next room and we were ok with it after a quick glimpse to make sure the issues we currently had was not happening again. After getting ready for bed, I stepped on a dead roach that was blended into the floor……… I notified front desk and they cleaned it when I was out. We came back the tonight and the AC stopped working!! Although they fixed the issue, they did not offer any incentives nor offer their sympathy. I expected more and I did not receive that. Will not be staying at Vias again.

Not familiar with the brand Vias hotel prior to this visit, but WOW this hotel was an absolute pleasant surprise. Almost everything about it was PERFECT!!!
The staff was so friendly; the services were quick and efficient, the location is convenient and picturesque- great hotel and very affordable.
