This is a great hotel to stay at. Based on Vietnam being partially 3rd world country, where some places look low class, this hotel definitely stands out with others in town, Da Nang. We stayed from 2/16-2/26, during Lunar New Year. They were wonderful, friendly, the place was clean and every day housekeeping. They have breakfast buffet every morning. They have a pool and fitness center. And they help you with any questions. They are hard workers, from doormen to kitchen, to front desk to housekeeping. In Vietnam, a dollar is worth more than a dollar, so show your appreciation, they don't expect it, but you can tell, they appreciate it, more than you know.

The staff are great. Very nice and helpful. Breakfast buffet is good too. However, it cannot be considered a 4 stars hotel. Their presidential room is spacious but lack of maintenance. Shower door wasn't sealed and cohlsnr closed tightly.

We got checked into a room with no working phone, security safety box also not working. Staffs new about the issues but still checked us into that defected room. After few complaints, we got moved to another room, but smaller than what we had initially. Not a good 1st impression.

It’s amazing stay - staff was very friendly, breakfast amazing with so many options. Should you try traditional soups.
We suppose to stay only 2 night but extended to 4 nights.
Great swimming pool open intill 6, gym till 10.
Location is great close to airport and attractions.

The hotel location was profiled under near downtown.
Downtown was the amusement park name and in fact was 15 minutes from the beach area and all of the dining options.
No bar even though the website suggested they had a poolside bar.

I would like to compliment Mr. Luu Tan Thinh (RIN) for his good service. I was dining at the dining area dining my two nights' stay at the hotel.

On the morning of 25/11/2019, on my last day of stay, we had breakfast at the dining area as normal. I was at one of the food stations taking food. My son wanted me to carry him, and so I had to put my plate down. Mr Luu (RIN) saw me and he came by to help me take my plate of food and followed me around while I carried my son.
I'm very pleased and feel appreciated to Mr. Luu for the help he offered me. He helps out at the kitchen preparing the food as a cook. But he is still serving the customers when he sees anyone who needed help. His service had exceeded my expectations! I hope there can be more staff like Mr Luu (RIN) who is customer-oriented.

I enjoyed my stay here at Minh Toan Galaxy hotel and it's also my first visit here at Da Nang. The staff at the reception are also very friendly. I look forward to my next visit here.

Excellent hotel for staying in Da Nang if you're with a family--there's an amusement park across the road from the hotel and it's close to the airport. But it's not that close to other tourist destinations like the Chohan Market and Dragon Bridge (they're only a short car-ride away, I walked and it took me about 30 mins). The staff was excellent and very helpful! I had an issue with the WiFi in my room and it was fixed quickly. The only drawbacks are that the awesome pool on the roof closes at 8pm and the hotel's location (not terrible, just slightly inconvenient). I used Grab bikes to get around and it was super easy for the drivers to find. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a single or family stay in Da Nang!

My wife and daughter spent our vacation in Da Nang. The Minh Toan Galaxy is located across the street from a nice amusement park. A short taxi ride to China Beach and if you like Sushi, there is an OUTSTANDING restaurant, called The Sushi Bar, a short walk down the street.

We loved our stay and plan to return!

The hotel is very clean and the bedroom comfortable but the service is nothing like a four star hotel. The front office refused to change a large note for smaller change for taxis. There was no hot water coming through when I went for a shower. The safe had to be released for use, the kettle was non operational. All of these faults were fixed quickly I would add but we're not needed after a long journey .when we went to use the pool the attendant refused to move the sun shade and told us to sit elsewhere before going back to play on his phone in the gym area. The breakfast Buffett was not refreshed and looked very tired on our first morning and I would therefore not consider returning to this hotel

After checking out and ready to leave. 1 staff stopped our taxi said 2 mandarin in room were LOST, asked us to pay. We didn’t eat but had put them in fridge. That’s v mean and ridiculous. We never asked for fruit, why they put in room. This is like a trap. Most hotels in Asia have complimentary fruit plate. How much do 2 mandarins cost that need to stop the guests who are about to hurry to the airport even if the guests consumed them?

We stayed in the VIP suite & it was absolutely fantastic. So spacious & clean, we didn't want to leave. The breakfast was really nice with loads of variety. The staff were so friendly, probably the friendliest people in Vietnam !! Kelly & Michael were stars. The views from the pool area were amazing, especially at night. Very clean overall, would definitely recommend this place.

Nice hotel, good views over the city.

Our overall experience was excellent, starting with a shuttle pick up from the airport, which was great when arriving late at night. We enjoyed a big buffett breakfast every morning. The beautiful pool was a welcome relief from the heat, and the spa facilities were very nice too. The staff were helpful when we need to organise transport to nearby attractions.

All Reception Staff spoke in polite manner with smiles on their faces during check in process. I let my vietnamese wife do the talking. I have stayed in other hotels and the staff changes their attitude only when I spoke in English instead of my wife.
Rooms are clean. Breakfast is good. Reception staffs are very helpful with any enquiries. Most importantly the Hotel do not practice discrimination.

We used Da nang as a base for sightseeing to Hue and Hoi An. Room was quiet and clean, staff very accommodating, breakfast was amazing, so much variety. Pool on top floor was cool and refreshing. Massage person was awesome however had her phone turned on which kept beeping, this was my only fault. Not exactly relaxing.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on NYE. The room and view is excellent, overlooking the river and the beautiful bridges that light up at night. The bathtub and fresh plate of complementary fruit was divine after a day traveling in the rain. Pool would have been amazing if it hadn't been cold and rainy. We went to the Moonlight Cafe (roof top bar) at 8:00pm and it was closed. It was also pouring down rain, but otherwise would have been a great location for the NYE countdown show. There are not many places open around that area, so a taxi or walking a ways is necessary if it is raining hard. The breakfast buffet in the morning is incredible and so delicious with lots of variety!

Luxuary hotel in Da nang at affordable price

Stayed 3 nights on the way back to Australia The very best thing about the hotel was the efficient friendly staff Front desk, dininging room and bell boys. The room was high standard most comfortable bed in Vietnam and lovely pool area. Only downside was the food in restaurant at dinner was served luke warm. The hotel is near Asia Park well worth going to giant ferris wheel and children would enjoy rides very cheep to entre and not crowded.

Vietnamese style grandeur beats the best of them

Best room we had in Vietnam and so cheap and luxurious 100sqm, 2 bathrooms, lounge, dressing area bit bathroom and awesome views over river and beach as room swings around in a curve, omg it was so excellent and exciting for myself and 2 kids, not only that the staff treated us like royalty, and was that pool built for a Roman Emperor. Paid half the price of staying at the Sheraton and it was 10 times better. Views over the river were so beautiful at night. King bed made for an awesome sleep. We regretted staying so long in Hoi An when this hotel far exceeded out expectations and is much closer to Ba Na hills, marble mountain and things we did not have time to see. Helio Centre is just down the road with fun go carts and rides, Asia Park across the road, we did not go to, but awesome looking at the sun wheel at night. Just go to this hotel, take my word for it, from a picky Aussie.

if you are in Danang for vacation this is not the hotel - however it is a very good option at a very good price for a business hotel where you are not looking for the beach resort. it is located very close to Asia Park amusements if you would be planning to go and do not have a car. (walking distance). and the area is very safe. The hotel staff were friendly and the breakfast with a lot of variety - the gym was also adequate if a little small. the area for the pool was very nice.

Beware of loud locals during holidays

The hotel itself was pleasant enough. It's not bang in the middle of the busiest tourist area but is a reasonable walking distance away. However, we stayed there while the country was in a 4-day public holiday period and the hotel was completely full, mostly with local visitors. Their culture appeared to be that they liked crowding in public areas, including hallways outside hotel rooms, the hotel lobby, the pool area (with people shouting to each other from upper floor balconies to the pool) and the restaurant. We were prepared for quietness so were slightly stressed with the noise levels during our 2-night stay.

We also had to change rooms because it got far too noisy on the first night, with noise coming from another establishment nearby. The second room was slightly better but unfortunately wifi didn't work. We gave up in the end.

Hidden Treasure of Da Nang

Minh Toan is a nice, clean and extremely friendly hotel. The staff is extreme

The hotel rooms where clean, comfortable beds, pillows, and complimentary fruits and water.

The rooms came with a large selection of choices for breakfast with a selection of cold meats and cheese, Vietnamese cuisine, soup base noodles, deserts and fruits.

The swimming pool was quiet, and had a basic gym which was all inclusive with excellent views over the city on the 14th floor of the building.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful and \"Le Ngoc Quang\" aka John even helped planned a few trips for me and negotiated the pricing with taxi's including waiting times at each location. The taxi drivers still activates the meters and with the negotiations, you will clearly see the discounts with saving of over 175000 Dong.

The only downside to the hotel is it isn't a quick walking distance to the main city centre, but there are plenty of taxis and only a short taxi ride to the main centre, restaurants, supermarkets which where only around 45000 dong, which is less than £1.50. All the taxis in Da Nang ran on meters, which made the stay in Da Nang and Minh Toan more pleasant. As I didn't really wanted to bargain all day for a taxi ride back to my hotel each night.

I would definitely go back to Minh Toan if I was revisiting Da Nang, for the service, experience and relaxation of the surroundings. Definitely a hidden treasure in Da Nang!

Nice, beautiful new hotel. Room is clean, comfortable n big enough. The roof top pool is gorgeous. The gym is adequate n big enough. I found enough equipment for my daily workout.i like the fact that the gym n the pool r right next to each other. I can see the pool while working out. Service is polite,I can't tell much because there wasn't much interact between me n the staff. Breakfast is good but nothing stands out. The location is a on a big, major street of da nang but is a little far from the center but the pool is the reason I picked this hotel n I think it's completely worthy. Overall, it's a nice n satisfied stay with this hotel

Overall satisfied but far from lively places

The hotel is in good condition (suite room) being up to standard and comfortable. Service is mediocre due to staffs having huge difficulty in understanding English and hence providing the service required for a 4stars hotel. Nevertheless they try their best to help. In-room food is a disappointment from simple fries to noodles (being instant noodles). Airport pick up car is not worth VND200,000 while a regular taxi would cost you at most CND70,000. To choose only if you plan to visit Danang, Hue, Hoi An and the neighborhoods rather than resorts and beach holiday.

Everything is good except it was too cold to enjoy the pool. Spa rates is reasonable considering it is house in a hotel. Indeed have to take cab to most of the places except Lotte Mart was about 15-20mins walk. Airport taxi to hotel is VND52000 on meter.

Me and my fiance came there for a holiday for 5 nights. The hotel gave me a very good impression when we just stepped in our room (premium deluxe). The view from our room (1003) was great! We could see the bridges and sun wheel from the window of our room. It is a bit far from the actual central but that doesn't trouble us. The breakast buffet was... OMG verryyyy NICE! They changed the menu everyday which had me definite enjoyed. Overall! If I'm coming back, YES i will return to MT galaxy

The room is big and comfortable. The bathroom is however quite small and slippery. No extension of checkout hours for our stay. despite being told that we can checkout 1 hrs late at 1 am we recieve a reminder call that we are to leave at 12 pm sharp. This caused quite a rush.

Stayed here at the beginning and end of our one month time in Da Nang. This hotel was by far the best that we have stayed at in Da Nang. The price unfortunately reflects that level of comfort, but it is worth it. The breakfast buffet is incredible and the pool is amazing. If I had to give this hotel any bad rating it would be for the overly attentive staff, that flock upon you any time you enter the lobby. Definitely the best beds in Da Nang.

I was disappointed whilst I stayed here. The location of the hotel is not very good. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel is quite modern.

However, The shower leaked in the bathroom whilst showering and flooded the bathroom. The staff at the hotel did not acknowledge it when I reported it, and the two woman behind the desk laughed at me when I reported it. I was very frustrated when this happened

We stayed at the Minh Toan Galaxy hotel for 4 nights and our experience was excellent. It is definitely a four-star hotel. The amenities are excellent, the staff very professional and willing to help, the breakfast outstanding, the rooms spacious and clean, the pool amazing, the facilites outstanding.....

We don't have any issue to complain about. On the contrary, our stay at the Minh Toan Galaxy was excellent and we would return without hesitation.

Facilities are all right as 4 star hotel. However, many employees are lack of very basic training i.e. welcoming greetings, smiling, etc. Very unconfortable stay due to No greetings like Xin chao, Good Morning, Welcome to xxxx hotel, etc. Very cold feeling without wecoming attitude.

Galaxy is the way to go.

I was there for a wedding, but visiting Vietnam for the first time ever. I literally went to Da Nang, with no hotel booked at all. Risky? Yes, but definitely adventurous. Also, I didn't want to be 'locked down' into a hotel I didn't like, so I literally just went from hotel to hotel.. Until I found the Galaxy. I stayed there one night, checked out, went to another but returned back to Galaxy...

Then I convinced other wedding guests to stay at Galaxy as well, and we all loved it. From location, to the staff, the pool, etc etc.

Excellent hotel

This was the best hotel I've ever been to in Vietnam. Didn't take much, actually. I was in 7 different hotels before this one. They were all unacceptable or close to that. This won hands down. I'm struggling to find something that wasn't quite right (first time I have to do that in three weeks). I guess it's not at all close to the beach, it takes 5-10 minutes by taxi, or 3 euros, to get to Mi Khe beach. (Beaches are mostly free, and the ocean water is pleasantly warm and clean.)
The hotel has a nice pool on the 11th floor.
The laundry was very expensive. It paid by the item, not by kilo.
The beds are probably the best part. Very comfortable, clean, and most importantly, well equipped with layers of linen. I didn't remember ever sleeping so well in Vietnam. Also, my room had big, nice windows and was very quiet.

It was very expensive, but ... relatively cheap if compared with other cities. The really annoying thing was - the it was adveritised by all operators at 40 dollars. They became 48 or so before completing my payment, because of the credit card fee and \"services paid to the hotel for\"... etc. Just give me the total cost from the start!

Overall a good stay

A very nice hotel and a nice stay but clouded about an argument over an iron (later realised a theme in higher class Vietnamese hotels). After much debate of no iron being available, having to pay for laundry service, an iron turned up 30 minutes later. Service redeemed but we should never have had the problem in the first place.

Reasonable price and good service

On last day of my trip to Danang and Hoi an, my flight was at 2300, I had to stay in room due to weather condition. And Hyatt didnt allow me late check out without extra charge. So I went to MT galaxy for a few hour stay. I explained I will check out at 2100 and will not have breakfirst.Then hotel staff bring me free sandwich and other stuff for dinner. Waht a nice service. Two single bed room has actually one double bed and one single size bed. Staff explained it has a outdoor pool open for 24 hour but didnt have a time to visit.

As this is an old style hotel, some rooms don't have windows, but staff were happy to move us to a better room. In all other respects, the hotel was very good, and well worth the slightly higher tariff.

Not as good as expected

The reviews we read made us believe this was a great place to stay in Danang. Unfortunately, although the room was comfortable, it didn't have the bathroom we were expecting, and had terrible lighting that made it feel very unwelcoming.

Breakfast was the worst we have had in Vietnam so far: most of the food was gone by 8:30, no service at all (no English spoken). I asked to have some croissants because the buffer basket was empty, the girl said ok when I showed her the basket but never brought any (even after 30 minutes).

The one try highlight of the stay was the pool, which really was nice and has a lovely view of the city.

Das Zimmer war nicht besonders (das erste hatte das Fenster in einen Innenhof) es wird versucht gegen einen Aufpreis was anderes zu Verkaufen. Der Pool ist sehr schön. Das Frühstück ist gut. Zum Strand sind es ca 3,5 km
