Lovely place, awesome attentive staff and 3 meals per day are freshly prepared buffet style. The grounds are meticulous with many walkways through the foliage and its many wild birds on the way to the beach. The beach is tended by the local fishermen and there are guard stands all along the length of the beach cycle path. I felt very safe and it was a calm and peaceful experience. I highly recommend this for nomads, couples and families. The property itself is spacious, wide tiled corridors, large rooms with a veranda balcony and hammock. The hammock relieved all my tech and luggage pulling aches. I came for carnival but stayed for the peace. I didn’t even leave the premises because it was what I needed most: a serene and necessary recharge.

The 1st room I was in had a damp smell..Room was clean but very run down.I upgraded the nect day and the suite was in better condtion.Front desk has a wonderful helpful female English speaket.
Water was not hot...lukewarm at best.
Food was ok.

Esse hotel é tudo de errado!

É difícil listar todos os pontos negativos desse hotel, mas vamos lá:

1. Check in lento, burocrático e demorado.
2. Mudaram nosso quarto 3 vezes por nos colocarem em quarto twin quando reservamos double.
3. O ar condicionado não é um ar condicionado. É um sistema de refrigeração à água fria e não à gás. O ar é sempre quente é não é possível regular.
4. A infraestrutura do quarto é velha e cheira a mofo.
5. O hotel é remoto e difícil de chegar.
6. O staff é grosso e mal treinado, com exceção da recepcionista Claudinha, que se esforçou para nos dar um bom atendimento.
7. A piscina não é essa que se vê na foto. É uma piscina pequena que parece piscina infantil. Não comporta a quantidade de hóspedes, e olha que o hotel não estava cheio.
8. Só existe de fato uma piscina natural na praia, mas é pequena, cheia de pedra e não comporta mais de 10 pessoas.
9. A qualidade do cholchão não é boa e a coberta é super áspera e desconfortável.

Foi um dos piores hotéis que nos hospedamos na vida e pagamos uma diária de quase 700 reais para isso. É ridículo ter de pagar o que pagamos para o retorno que tivemos. Pesquise bem antes de reservar este hotel porque existem opções bem melhores.

The hotel is listed as a four star hotel, but my family and I really don't agree with that (and we had two rooms for us). The place where the hotel is located is quite, and safe, which is great specially when you are in a country like Brazil. The staff is very friendly, and the room is kept really clean.
Breakfast is nice on the weekends, but during the week is just average. They don't have many options during weekdays, and some of the food items offered during weekend and weekdays are not prepared as well during the weekdays. We did not have lunch at the hotel, but we had dinner. The buffet that is offered is very expensive compared to other local restaurants, and the food is not that great. And one of the days that we ate there instead of offering a full buffet, they had salads, desserts, soup and pasta on the buffet, but if you want a main dish with sides they would prepare as ordered, but you could only order one protein (fish, beef or chicken) and two sides, and the price was still the same as if was a full buffet where you could eat as many sides and meat as you want. I guess they do that when they don't have as many guests, but I think is not ok. Also on that day the desserts offered where fewer and not as nice. At least they offer partial buffet options which are pasta salad, soup and dessert, or soup salad and dessert or only soup where you pay a little less. But compared to a full buffet is even less worth it.

Safe, relaxing beach getaway

Located within a gated condominium complex, this hotel offers natural beauty and a tranquil beach for those seeking a respite from the hectic pace of city life. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you want more than one restaurant, you will need a car.

Amazing, beautiful experience at this hotel

So many great things to say about this hotel. The staff was super friendly and accomodating. I arrived from a long night flight way before check in time and all I wanted to do was take a shower and get some sleep. I asked if I could check in early, and they said yes. They have no idea how much I needed this rest. I also had a wonderful lunch and breakfast at this hotel. I also was able to leave my luggage after I checked out while I went sight seeing.

Bahia Plaza Resort

The hotel is somewhat secluded set within private grounds within the vicinity of a number if very expensive houses. It's boasts a modern gym and private beach; if you are looking for relaxation or a retreat from the hustle and bustle of work life, then this is the place.

The staff were were excellent; look out for Ray in reception - he was very helpful.

The only critisism is that the wifi is very poor in the rooms. I had to come down to the main reception area just to get a good reception.

Great if you don't want to leave the hotel!

The hotel is great but only if you plan to stay at the hotel. It is far away from everything that is touristic and where the life of the city is. If you are with a family and you just want to relax this is the perfect hotel for you but if you are with friends and you want to know the city during the day and go out at night, find a hotel somewhere else!

Houstonian in Salvador De Bahia during World Cup

Out of all the hotel stays during my visit to Brazil for the World Cup, this was my favorite Hotel handsdown. The quality and comfort of the rooms was exceptional and in-line with what you can expect from any great US Hotel with sound customer service. Breakfast was equally great with a variety that ranged from your typical continental style breakfast offerings all the way to local indigenous foods. The staff were very polite and professional. Better yet, this was the only hotel that I stayed in while visiting Brazil where the double beds in the room were Queen sized. Most Brazilian Hotels are notorius for providing a bed that is no larger than a twin size bed. Icing on the cake, go to the private beach next to the hotel and watch the Sea Turtles in the morning. Peaceful and Serene indeed.

Great Time

My visit was for four weeks. The main hotel staff speak English and they all are super nice and helpful. The other hotel staff, restaurant, bar, maids most do not speak English but are very patience and helpful. A lot of pointing and hand gestures and we understood each other just fine. I could not imagine staying anywhere else when in Salvador. Walking distance to the beach, good security. Food in restaurant was great, have the best gym I have been at for a hotel. Ask for a hammock for your room and sleep one day in it...wow. Just make sure you learn some simple phases in case you go to the stores or local vendors to purchase items.

Infelizmente não tivemos uma boa hospedagem, o hotel está precisando muito de reforma e manutenção, principalmente na area de lazer (piscina e ponto de apoio na Praia)
Na alimentação o hotel utiliza itens de qualidade baixa no cafe da manhã, tem variedade, mas com peca na qualidade (claramente ha aproveitamento de alguns itens de panificação de dias anteriores)
Para ir a Praia vc tem que ir de suporte do hotel, que demora no trajeto de idas e vindas ou ir a pé, o que toma tempo e pode trazer desconforto a uma situação que deveria ser de descanso, e o que não foi explicado na reserva
Não temos costume de reclamar, mas acredito que vale ressaltar os pontos para que os futuros clientes possam entender a situação atual do hotel, que aparenta ter sido bom em algum momento desse 2005, em sua abertura.

O quarto super espaçoso, cama grande e confortável, sempre limpo e cheiroso. Banheiro grande chuveiro excelente para um belo banho após um dia de praia. O condomínio onde está o hotel é super seguro, assim como o caminho que leva à praia.

Minha única observação é sobre o bar da praia. O serviço é bem fraquinho e lento, mas não atrapalhou nossa estadia em nada!

O hotel é antigo,mas é limpo e tem uma equipe impecável, a piscina é excelente e a praia é um presente ideal para relaxar e fugir das praias cheias e barulhentas de salvador.O serviço de quarto é muito bom, com preços ótimos. Os únicos pontos de melhoria é que o café da manhã precisa de mais opções principalmente salgadas e as camas não são tão confortáveis. Ressalto ainda que o jantar foi maravilhoso várias opções e ainda tinha sobremesa inclusa. Sem dúvidas esse hotel é um refúgio para descanso, voltarei em breve.

Custo x benefício justo.

Os serviços melhoraram desde a ultima vez (2023), principalmente no quesito limpeza e cozinha. Ainda existem pontos a melhorar como a estrutura sanitária da piscina, o acesso a praia e o atendimento do restaurante. Possui uma estrutura com grande potencial. Poderia ser melhor.

Achei o hotel bacana, chuveiro é bom, quarto é bom mas esperava mais do hotel.
A entrada do condomínio e a parte da praia é o charme.
A piscina é bem fraquinha, a academia é muito boa.

O parquinho infantil muito simples e fraco também. O que salva é o parquinho do condomínio mais adiante.

Amei a estadia!

O hotel Bahia Plaza era o local de interesse meu conhecer. Mesmo morando na linha vida quis desfrutar e conhecer a praia de Busca Vida. Um encanto! Local muito seguro, espaço do hotel amplo e área pra explorar muito bom. Espaço bem acolhedor e familiar.

Bahia Plaza

O hotel precisa urgente de reformas. A começar pela recepção, lotada de peças e quadros, poluindo a visão interna. Paredes externas precisam de pintura.
Os corredores estão com odores de gordura e retorno de esgoto.
As portas dos quartos precisam de verniz e reparos. Do lado de fora vemos se a luz interna do quarto está acesa ou não pois a madeira lateral está danificada, faltando pequenos pedaços.
A cozinha não é convidativa. Alimentos sem qualidade e sabor. Vimos um coffee break montado e que nos pareceu bem melhor que o nosso café da manha.
Cofre sem funcionar, moveis danificados improprio para uso.

Estadia foi ok. Estrutura da praia com equipe muito gentil e preatativa mas mestrutural ente muito ruim. Cadeiras quebradas e muito velhas. Sem charme nenhum. Apoio de toilete péssimo, sem água, em estado desastroso e sujo. Uma pena pq o local e pessoal são muito bacanas. A estrutura de laser do hotel, como piscina, muito pouco atrativa. Café da manhã bem apresentado e diverso.

Bom hotel com boa estrutura e atendimento excelente. O unico ponto baixo para este hotel é cozinha. Infelizmente deixou muito a desejar. Tudo que pedi no quarto, na barraca da praia e no café da manhã tinha qualidade não condizente com o hotel.

Muito boa, recomendo, mas pode melhorar!

A estadia foi muito boa, mas podem melhorar na sustentabilidade. Não vi coleta seletiva, por exemplo. O frigobar do quarto só tinha água, poderiam ter outros itens para comodidade, sem precisar pedir ao serviço de quarto. A comida do restaurante estava muito boa. O atendimento foi maravilhoso, simpatia s cordialidade em todos os locais.

Na chegada nos colocaram no último andar ,eu estava com minha mãe idosa e o elevador estava quebrado sem previsão de conserto. Então solicitamos a mudança de quarto, para nossa surpresa vários dos quantos q nos ofereceram estavam com problemas: porta da varanda com fechadura quebrada, ar condicionado jorrando agua ao ligar, vaso sanitário vasando ao dar descarga, telefone quebrado, quarto com cheiro de moto ...gostamos muito deste lugar mas infelizmente o hotel precisa ajustar suas instalações.

Foi decepcionante minha estada no Bahia Plaza, um hotel antigo, com elevador cheirando a mofo, quarto cheirando a mofo, banheiro com bidé( anti-higiênico ) não pretendo voltar. Frigo bar só com água. Nem usei a última diária.

Caro para o q entrega. Hospitalidade péssima.

Única coisa boa é a localização. Hotel está bem largado e sem manutenções. Fomos em um grupo grande de amigos e tinha apenas 1 quarto com ar condicionado funcionando adequadamente. O hotel está datado e precisa de upgrades, mas isso é ok até. Grande problema foi a qualidade da comida, que não é barata, e o atendimento. Horas para chegar coisas simples como açai, mais de 20 minutos para trazer uma água. E a equipe sempre com cara amarrada e pouco se importando. Muito diferente da hospitalidade baiana que encontramos fora do hotel. Salvos poucos funcionários a maioria seguia nessa linha. O Restaurante/bar da piscina era de longe o pior de todos.

Resumindo, apesar de não ser tão antigo parece mais velho do que é e precisa de melhorias e manutenções. Mas de longe treinar melhor a equipe de funcionários para fazer jus a verdadeira hospitalidade baiana q nem de perto foi a que encontramos no hotel.

Não voltaria, nem recomendaria. Muito caro para o que se recebe em troca.

Boa opcao em camaçari

O que eu gostei: academia completa, local silencioso num condominio incrivel e de frente pro mar, quartos confortaveis e bem equipados, café da manha muito bom.

O que eu nao gostei: restaurante nao tinha opcao de moqueca para uma pessoa e achei uma barata junto aos colchones da academia.

Ficarei la novamente caso precise.
