Very good hotel, five minutes walk to the beach to perceive the beauty of the sea, luxury and good service. Only regret is Taroko was severely damaged by earthquake and closed. Anyhow living experience is excellent in this hotel

Amazing location with great pool and hot spas. The only issue was limited English didn’t make it easy for us to work out how to see the surrounding area. It is big with Japanese bus tourists and they had it all planned for them. But a great place and we enjoyed our stay

It would have been a lot better if “free food and drink for 2 people per day” was explained to be what the hotel maintained it to be - “tipsy hour from 9:30 pm with bar snacks.

Very unhappy about the lack of resolution to this discrepancy by hotel and the booking site. I’m out of pocket.

This is perhaps the best hotel in the Hualien area, with a top-notch new facility and close proximity to the Taroko National Park which unfortunately was severely damaged by the earthquake on 4/3/2024. The menu and food quality in the restaurant was much to our liking and to our delight, reasonably priced for dinner. Beach was a short stroll away.

Almost everything is excellent with this property. From the hotel, dining, to customer services. Their people are especially friendly and will do everything to help you. The biggest drawback is that it is in the middle of nowhere, literally no man's land. There is no uber, no transportion, walking anywhere is just to far and remote. You are literally stuck in the resort for nothing better to do. It takes about 30 minutes to get out to the Hualien town.

The hotel is close to the Taroko National Park. The breakfast buffet is excellent 👍 Also free in room mini bar! Free music entertainment at night too. Smart TV supports Netflix. We enjoyed our stay very much. The only drawback is the lack of safety deposit box in the room.

This hotel is nice itself ! However it’s about 25 mins from near by train station by walking! The hotel only provides shuttle bus to the train station once a day! Consider it’s a nice hotel, they can do better than that! By car, it’s only 5 mins from the nearest train station! Why not !’

What I disliked: My check in experience was not very pleasant because after parking the car and wheeling our luggage all the way to the lobby, we were told that we were at the wrong building as the hotel had two different buildings with another hotel in between theirs. This is not clearly indicated in the booking and when driving, it is not clearly indicated on Google Maps that they had two diff buildings. Also it kinda sucks to be in the satellite building, because the breakfast, dining and pools were all at the main building so we always had to walk over about 3 mins to get to it. The location is bad if you do not drive because there are almost no food options in the vicinity so you pretty much have to eat at the hotel. If you drive, Hualien city where most of the dining options are is a 30min drive away.

What I liked: Upon entering our room, we realized we were upgraded from the normal twin room to a junior suite. We appreciated this but for some reason the staff didn't let us know when we were checking in. Thus the room given was extremely spacious and luxurious. There was also a hot and cold water dispenser on every floor which is very convenient. The hotel is also very clean which we appreciated.

This hotel is relatively new - opened in 2021. All facilities are well designed. Rooms are elegantly designed. Very clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was extensive and tasty. The hotel provide shuttle bus to the railway station.

The only issue I have is it's location which is in the middle of nowhere. I thought it is located inside the Taroko National park but it is about 15 min outside of the park.
Just be aware of that so you basically have to eat in.

The staffs are warm and helpful. I love the atmosphere when we walked on the lobby (the building we stayed). The room full of snacks and drinks added so much more welcoming sensation.

The odor in the bathrooms was strong scene and it might the ventilation not circulate properly.

I like the DIY and Yoga class even thought I only get to experience DIY but it was helping me finding my inner peace.

The hotel is only 5 mins away from the train station which takes you to Taroko !

My parents absolutely enjoy the kindness and hospitality.I would definitely come back and visit with my family again❤️

They front desk organised a cab to go around the gorge in 8 hours. It was about half the price of the packages we could have booked online. The guide was very nice, her English was very good and she took us to all the nice areas to visit. The hotel is really well located for the Gorge. We recommend.

The Taroko hotel was very nice with an excellent breakfast. It is a resort, as advertised; but I was there on business; thus a bit of a drive everyday.

Would recommend it it if you seek peace and quiet. Not much around the area for restaurants and dinner menu is limited. Understand you can buy all inclusive and it looked like fresh seafood was served for this.

I ended up moving to Lakeshore downtown and was completely satisfied. The staff and management were excellent and made my move much easier than expected.

This resort is near to entrance of Taroko National Park, facing the ocean at the front side and mountain range at the back facing. Lots of greenery. Full resort facilities. During my stay there were local singers performing. Not much activities outside the resort as the resort is the centric of focus. The buffet breakfast is excellent, full range of International & locals. Happy for our choice!

客房空間小，客房內便利性不足，如未提供咖啡湯匙反而是拋棄式攪拌棒、無紙筆，無瓶裝水及體重計，可以理解是環保考量，但拋棄式攪拌卻可以使用有點矛盾。
飯店內設施很少可以利用，健身器材只有三個。
以五星級飯店而言令人失望，以環保為名的服務品質，與價格不成正比。
餐點不錯，早餐菜色豐富多樣，每天更換，也融入在地農產品及特色。餐點是此飯店比較令人滿意的部分。

全体的にとても良い滞在になりました。ひとつの階の部屋数も多くないので過ごしやすく、部屋はきれいでトイレ別など構造も使いやすく、大きなバスタブは大きさに合う勢いでお湯も出てきて良かったです。コーナーの部屋でバルコニーもあったので、下のプールや山の景色、海も広い範囲で見れて毎日とても癒されました。
またフロントやお掃除、ダイニングなどスタッフの方が皆さん親切で笑顔で対応してくださり気持ち良かったです。リクエストにも迅速に応えてくださいました。
朝食も品数が多く連泊でも全部は食べられませんでした。台湾のジェラートや豆花などデザートも美味しかったです。
周辺は静かな地域で、徒歩圏内にはあまり店はありませんが、かわいいカフェや美味しい食堂に訪れました。少し街や飲食店に訪れたい場合はタクシーなど車の手段になるかと思います。海辺はホテルから歩いてすぐ行けますし、自然の中でゆったりと過ごしたい人にはとてもおすすめです。

We were a bit disappointed…… It’s not clear with parking. We parked in front to unload our luggage and we had a lot. Was it not for Riley who came running out to help us and told us we gad to park at another building. It turns out the hotel had 3 different buildings and only staff in one if them. I wish this was a but more clear when booking. For the price you would assume you don’t have to walker to another building for breakfast and to use other facilities. Also it says free minibar but there was nothing in the minibar?

The rooms are very nice and very clean. So that was really nice

新型態飯店從昂貴到平價床鋪都有

煙波分成三個館，有背包床鋪也有一般住宿的山闊館，另一棟靠海邊的才有遊泳池可以使用，其中兩棟可以說沒有服務員，只有一棟有含餐廳的有服務員！早餐不錯，剛好秋天有螃蟹味增湯滿滿螃蟹吃的很過癮

Our stay was an absolute delight.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were spic and span and the breakfast was one of the best we ever had.
The pool was almost 50m, which was great to do some lengths. The gym only had a few machines, so the pool was a good alternative. (don't forget a bathing cap or you will have to buy one)
Nice to see refillable shower products instead of disposable ones.
Only negative point would be that there was a miscommunication about the hotel shuttle reservation, and we had to pay for a taxi on our way home.

地震過後，酒店人員非常專業及關懷客人，非常感激酒店員工

退房當天約0758在酒店房間，感受了人生最強烈的一次有感地震，應該係7.2級，大約維持20秒。當刻，真係唔知酒店會唔會倒塌。大地震之後，即刻離開酒店到戶外等候，斷斷續續還有10多次三四級餘震。餘震過後，盡快回酒店收拾行李，約10:00左右離開酒店。酒店人員非常專業以及非常關心客人，繼續為客人準備早餐及飲品，拿到戶外供暫避的客人享用，某程度他們也是冒着酒店倒塌的風險在室內工作，真的感激他們。

早餐非常棒，早餐的服務非常好！還要特別感謝：早餐餐廳組長潘小姐，我們有位同行的老太太因爲前一天在太魯閣國家公園不小心摔傷了無法下樓吃早餐，潘組長還特別請廚房熬粥，蒸蛋讓我們帶到樓上房間。
不過晚餐服務人員的服務品質就有待加強，我們訂位６人，５人前往用餐，服務人員帶我們到座位後只給了 3 份菜單（應該事前就知道6 位），過了幾分鐘問我們是否可以點餐了？告知還少兩份菜單，服務小姐拿了一份菜單過來，再告知還少一份，才再去拿一份，而且表現的很不耐煩（因為我們５位都是老人？）。
另外浴缸的安全措施需加強，容易摔倒。

房間比照片上看起來小很多，然後床跟枕頭都偏軟
為了跨年訂房，到了之後才知道飯店完全沒有酒吧😅想喝一杯也沒辦法

浴室沒有擦手的方巾，洗頭和沐浴乳不是分開而是二合一的那種，覺得以這樣價位的飯店來說分開是基本的

浴缸在照片上看起來蠻大的，但無法兩個人一起很舒適的泡澡

房間的電視不知道為什麼已經轉到極限了還是很小聲，要很安靜的看電視，不然會稍微聽的有點吃力

然後對於房間內沒有小音箱真的蠻意外的，感覺這樣等級的飯店這個也應該是基本配備

講完不足的部分，還是有很多可以誇獎的

整體服務沒話說，房間看出去的海景也沒話說，還有一個很棒很環保的地方是房間有放水壺能讓你拿去走廊飲水機裝水回房間喝

早餐樣式稍微以中式為主，不會過過度重口味，只是一大早的冷氣強到有點冷😂
