The whole property is simply beautiful. It is a vineyard and winery (pisco distillery really) “old hacienda” turned into a hotel. The building (hotel, rooms, restaurant, gym, chapel, distillery) is all in the vineyard. Some rooms overlook the vineyard (gorgeous). The staff is friendly and professional. Food was delicious (local and international dishes. The pool is perfect.

We had the honeymoon suite the place def look better in pictures than in person. Customer service was somewhat below what we expected. Employees around the location were not very friendly and it felt as if it was more like a compound within the gates than a hotel.

They probably should have more lighting in the area in the evenings as there is absolutely no lights on at night and it is pitch black dark out there. Wait until you visit you will understand what I mean.

The hotel room was the most expensive one, honeymoon, when we arrived we had 2 bottles of wine there, which we thought were complimentary as it didn’t have any signage of cost and besides one would think they would at least comp their guests in most expensive rooms a sample of their wine that originates there.

Moving on I would say if you are looking to book here to make sure you bring your car or reserve a taxi to see their tour as to our surprise they include a wine tour in price but say you have to get your own transportation to see it.

Overall I wouldn’t say it was a terrible place. The grounds and scenery are what you would expect to see. But all else left a lot to be desired for.

Beautiful setting and area. Right in middle of vineyard with some walking trails or can rent bikes. Old car museum my friends loved. two bars and heated pool.
There isn't a person at front desk for full 24 hrs so will need to plan accordingly. Also farther from Ica center than other hotels, so mostly eating and drink at their bar. However, getyourguide.com tours were fine with picking up from there, even though further out.

Fantastic hotel with nice rooms , good pool area, nice garden . Good restaurant with good food. Not that many dishes, but enough for a couple of days. The staff do not speak very good English, especially when you check in it is a lot of questions in Spanish and it can be difficult if you do not speak Spanish. But that is probably the only problem with this hotel, everything else was very nice and comfortable. All staff was very friendly and helpful and really tried there best to fulfill your requests. There was no Breakfast buffe because of Covid, but we had nice breakfast anyway, you can choose from many different Juice’s and egg dishes together with bread .

Property is incredible. Room was great. Breakfast was great. I didn't think it was necessary to pay to rent tennis rackets for use. I also thought it strange that no complimentary water was provided. Finally, in regards to the tour--I think it's a great option to have the wine tour but I think maybe they could be more flexible for people unable to attend that particular time. Perhaps just an earlier tasting? Otherwise a truly beautiful experience that you would never be able to tell from driving around the area.

We are from Australia and have felt challenged by a lot of the poverty and simplicity that some people here must live through so it was with some apprehension that we located our 3.5 star accommodation but the minute the gates opened we were totally enchanted and have no hesitation in recommending this property. We had paid for a vineyard view room, a slightly better room and position that our friends who booked a standard room. Everywhere you look in this vineyard is a picture, beautiful. 2 pools, which were warm enough to swim n. good bar server, the 'resort' was quiet when we were there but the lack of people didn't reduce the feelings in this place. we did the wine tour but dropped out as only in Spanish but rejoined it for the wine tasting which was interesting.

After dinner we sat around one of the many fires with a bottle of wine. Lover the wine, and so cheap, bought a few roadies to take on the rest of our travels.

My stay was very relaxing and I think the hotel is a hidden gem in Ica. The food and facilities were great. Only thing I would recommend to the hotel is to provide slippers and toothbrushes to standardize with hotels in other parts of the world. Bottles of water should be provided free everyday not just only on the day of check-in. The staff at reception were extremely helpful which made my stay even better.

This hotel is beautiful and very luxurious. It is a long ways from town, so plan on driving 30 minutes to Ica. We enjoyed our stay but we could not get the front desk to provide the room we had booked. We paid a higher rate for the Vineyard view room over the standard room, and on the website the picture shows a great view of the vineyards. They put us on the bottom floor of the building which faced a lawn and a wall. You could see a very small view of the vineyard over the wall, but it was clearly not the same level of the room in the picture. We asked at the front desk and we also called later from the room, but they insisted on keeping us in that room or charge another 160 soles for the upgraded room. This was frustrating because the booking website would only charge 30 soles more but they would not allow us to do this at the hotel without a much higher charge. Also, the hotel was almost completely empty and it would have been very easy for them to provide the room we had booked. Additionally, there was not any hot water so my wife and I both took cold showers the next morning. I know the hotel is new and they may be working through some of these kinks but we wanted to inform travelers to be careful about the rooms you select. The hotel was very beautiful, the food was great, and the service was good except for the room problems.

The hotel was fabulous! well taken care of. It situated in the middle of the vineyards and it has a free wine tasting. Some things that this hotel lacks are basic amenities such as slippers, bathrobes, lotion etc. They do have body wash, shampoo and hand soap. I stayed in the new rooms and they were gorgeous and very spacious, one thing though is that the towels were position right over the toilet and not on the side of the shower, which for me is a little unsanitary and very uncomfortable, however that could be easily fixed. The food was amazing and very well priced, the wine however is not they have a 30% to 50% mark up on most of the bottles comparing to the prices in stores, you would think that it would be cheaper or same price but it’s not since you have to understand that is a hotel/mid resort. The service was incredible everywhere EXCEPT at the bar, they lack training on offering you different things that the bar or hotel has to offer. You need to search for them if you are seating by the pool and specially if you are seating by the fire place. They won’t come to offer you anything and you have to make sure that they didn’t forget about you. I had the same issue, the two families seating in the same side, did as well.

A divine hideaway

From the reviews and photos this looked like a nice place to say. They severely did Vinas Queirolo a misjustice. Although the location is a bit of a journey from Lima, it is a beautiful vineyard with incredible service, clean rooms, great food and spectacular drinks.
If you're looking for a luxurious getaway and want to be treated, look no further.
The local owls that will appear along your stay are also gorgeous!

Difficult checkin and no orientation

Checkin on an Expedia booking was BEYOND difficult - manager volunteered they don't like working with Expedia ( why stay on their website then?). Lots of confusion about whether room was paid or not - took over an hour - the hotel is not straight forward, lots if twisting corridors which could have been quaint if we knew where we were but unfortunately no one showed us around the hotel at all and we were left to try and sort out by ourselves. The charges for dinner are random - we ordered a half and half pizza first night with no big deal and no extra charges - second night they wanted to charge us over half the pice if the pizza again to do a half and half.
It's a long way from town with nothing it recommend it - do yourself a favour and stay downtown where they may appreciate the business more

Our stay was overall very good. The wine tour that was included in our stay was all in Spanish, which we expected, but it was nice to have met some other travellers that were able to translate to English for us. The bikes could use some maintenance, I think only 2 or 3 of them didn't have flat tires. We would definitely stay here again. The pools are very well taken care of and the property is breathtaking. Make sure to attend the free wine tour. They bring you up to a very nice viewpoint to watch the sunset.

Only concern for the future, is with the new buildings being constructed and new facilities, it might destroy the ambience. I hope not.

The most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in. The vineyard grounds are breathtaking, and we had the most relaxing time. The service was also wonderful- they can help arrange dunebuggy rides and tours of Huacachina. The one restaurant had an extensive menu. The food was good but a little salty. Most unpleasantly and unfortunately, my friend and I both got food poisoning / diarrhea the day we checked out after having shared everything at dinner the precious night. Since we only ate here during our stay in Ica, there could be no other culprit.

Great hotel, beautiful grounds, room with carácter, great food and wines but at check in they didnt honor our fully paid Expedia reservation and made us pay again for our room. It was 10pm and we were tired from the 5 hour drive, had no where else to go and so we paid. The receptionist told us that we should contact the sales team of the hotel, which we already did yesterday. Hopefully we will get a refund because the hotel is great and it would be nice to go back again, if and only if we get our money back.

Relaxing ambiance good for families and kids

The hotel is set in a rustic quiet ambiance and has great amenities with swimming pools, jacuzzi, tennis courts, etc. The restaurant is quite good although breakfast should be more varied for the price of the hotel. We got a basic room which was clean but more usable for sleeping and was not a problem given the additional facilities. Do the sand buggy tour which can be booked and also take the free wine tour which is really worth it and makes you appreciate Peruvian wines and pisco of course.

A destination of its own

The expansive vineyards provide the scenery and, the tucked into the hillside, the hotel and winery provide the food and comfort. This is a family friendly hotel that we sought out to relax while also having the opportunity to explore Huacachina. It is about 30-45 minutes from the oasis, but it was worth making the commute. We found that Hotel Vinas Quierolo was more of a domestic destination. Despite few staff having conversational knowledge of English, hospitality was certainly not lacking. We found the food at the hotel restaurant to be very good and reasonably priced. For a longer stay, however, we might have been discouraged by the lack of alternative choices nearby.

Great Hotel and destination. If you want days off in a quite and beautiful hotel, this is the one. Excellent accommodations, stunning landscape and lots of wine. Riding bicycle through the Vineyard, wine testing and taking a look at the sunset at a viewpoint are examples of the activities you can do.

At night there are individual fireplaces were you can order drink and food. The viewpoint they take you in the wine toor is also amazing and a beautiful spot for picture taking. Staff was very attentive and kind during our whole stay.
