The hotel was in a great location and we barely had to walk far to get anywhere. One annoyance we had was that our shower didn’t work properly with very low pressure and we weren’t able to control the temperature. Apart from that we had no issues, the breakfast was nice with eggs provided on request.

Very convenient location and close to bus & activities meeting point. Nice pool, but closes at 7pm, which is a little early since many activities run into sunset hours (approx. 6pm). We were allowed to check in early, which was nice. Only complaint is that breakfast was supposed to start at 6:30am, and there was nothing set out by 6:40am when we had to go meet our bus.

The exterior facilities like the pool and breakfast room were in good order. The actual bedroom was a disappointment. The first room the toilet didn't work. The front desk gentleman got us a second room. The second room the water was running brown and rusty. The shower dripped with hardly any pressure. The young man helped us changed to the third room. Finally the third room all the plumbing worked, but the bathroom door handle was broken, the hot and cold water shower tabs were reversed and were looking broken as well, but by then we were too tired to ask to change to the 4th room. It seems that the hotel management was not putting much effort in the upkeep or maintenance of the rooms.

Breakfast at least was good, with freshly cooked eggs to your order. The pool looked nice but we didn't have time to test it out. The hotel was not as active as the others on the same block. Perhaps the words about the poorly maintained rooms had gotten around?

This hotel was great for our one-night stay in Huacachina on our way to Nazca. The tour we were on recommended the hostel next door, but we splurged a little on a hotel instead, and were glad that we did. It was a Saturday night, and the town was quite lively, so having a quieter environment to sleep in was welcome. The breakfast was good and was available fairly early (which we needed due to a tour the next morning), and we had a very nice dinner in the restaurant. (Our waiter Rolly was very friendly and nice!) The room did not have a coffee maker or electric kettle, but overall was clean and in good repair. Our one regret was not having time to try out the swimming pool!

Relaxing 3 days with the family.

Nice place. Rooms can be hit or miss but we were one of the only families during the off season at the end of June and the service was great and staff were attentive. It could have helped that I'm Peruvian and spoke Spanish but nevertheless.

The pool area is clean and beautiful. My son and daughter had a blast. The food that was included was great, causa, chicharon de pollo, chicken wings, soups, scrambled eggs and fresh bread and papaya juice for breakfast, overall not bad at all. Some flies occasionally but hey it's an eco resort and we're in the country so I guess it comes with the territory.

They have a conference room, huge soccer field and kids games in the back. It's rustic but comfortable and a breathe of fresh air from Pisco itself.

I was on a business trip but had to bring the family. For this location it was the best choice for my purposes. I could work half the day and spend the other half with them.

Worth a stay if you have kids and are in the area.

Amazing hotel, the backyard is the sand dunes. Beautiful rustic look. Breakfast was included and it’s a block away from the pond. Staff was polite and welcoming. Room was spacious, clean, hot water and excellent WiFi. The ATV ride to the sand dunes is a 5 min walk away.

The staff was so kind, it’s a nice quiet option for the area. The restaurant isn’t very busy but it is worth a visit because the waiter is so friendly and attentive they create such a nice night for you. Also, you can walk straight up the sand dunes from the back gate and see the sunset!

We arrived here kind of late, so were werent able to do the sand dunes. We got here around 7pm and there were lot of tourists everywhere and we felt safe. Check in was easy and we asked about how to get on a flgiht to see the Nazca lines. The lady at the front desk was able to arrange to get a private car, flight to see the Nazca lines and transportation back to the main square in Nazca. I think it was $150 usd each for me and my husband. After check in we had dinner and drinks on the same street, walking distance, so that was nice. Our room was clean and bed was comfortable. I did read the reviews about the hostel nearby being loud at night, so i expected it. But honestly, me and my husband live in a city, so it didnt keep us from falling asleep, it wasn't super loud, we heard it from a distance. I heard the music at 3am, when i got up to use the bathroom, but like i said it didnt keep us up. If you need absolute silence, keep that in mind. Breakfast was bread, cheese, ham meat and fruit. There was also juice and coffee. We were able to take it to go in a box because we left super early to go see the Nazca lines. Overall it was nice and comfortable for the one night we stayed.

Mouldy ceiling falling into sink

There are not a lot of hotels to choose from in Huacachina, but this one is supposed to be one of the best. The grounds are nice and the pool is lovely. The staff is great and very accommodating. The room we had was big, but the bed had a rubber mattress cover on it. The stay would have been unremarkable and I wouldn’t be leaving this review if it were not for the mould on the bathroom ceiling. I was brushing my teeth and noticed white residue around the sink, then some that fell in my hair. I looked up and realized the ceiling directly above the sink was moulding and falling down on top of my head and onto the sink and in my personal care products. I was horrified and moved all my things out of the bathroom and didn’t use the sink again. This was at about 1 am right before we went to sleep, so we did not alert management, reasoning that all they would be able to do would be to either move us to another room (if they had one with AC - most don’t have it), and anything the would do to cover the mold would only disturb it and potentially be more dangerous. We had planned to tell the clerk on the desk in the morning, but the woman working the desk spoke no English and our Spanish is basic. I also find it hard to believe that this would have been new information for them. This feels like the kind of place that doesn’t care about overall quality of their rooms, given the hyper transient nature of Huacachina, where the avg. traveller age is 21 and most won’t ever be back.

Bare bones and uncomfortable

Hotel building and grounds look fairly nice and well kept. Room is very bare bones, bed mattress squishy and old, lighting poor, lampshades torn, no place to put clothes or suitcases. Bathroom very user unfriendly, nowhere to put even a few products, toilet barely flushes. Haven’t showered yet so don’t know about that. Sheets on bed stiff and scratchy. Just a poor and uncomfortable hotel room for eighty some dollars per night in Peru.

Our room was a good size, very basic but clean. The hot water in the shower was tepid and there was only 1 available plug socket in the bedroom. The courtyard/pool area is a lovely place to relax. The breakfast is simple and we were offered scrambled eggs. We did order a pizza and they charged us 12 soles more than the menu price. When questioned they said they gave us a larger one though there wasn't an option for this on the menu. There is noise from the surrounding bars/hostels so we found earplugs to be useful. The hotel is in a great location.

The room was large and clean. It had working AC which was needed in the desert heat. Shower had warmish water but not hot. Toilet worked! We stayed in the only room that had a card key to enter so im not sure if it was an upgraded room and others didnt have AC.

Breakfast was not anything to rave about. There was cheese and meats and cereal. Didnt looked to be getting replenished and the dining room was full. We ended up not eating and leaving to go on a tour due to lack of options.

When we checked in the front counter the attendant was not very friendly or welcoming at all. She barely cracked a smile and we were standing there just kinda staring at each other for a bit. when we got here, the weather was about 90° and the air conditioner in the room was off and the refrigerator was unplugged. It took quite a while for it to cool down. Lastly, when we came for breakfast at 6:30, they were not at all prepared and we only had
just a few minutes to eat. The breakfast here is minuscule to say the least and with them being not prepared it makes it even worse. We only had 15 minutes to eat before we continue to our next excursion, but they were moving slower than molasses. I would NOT stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Huacachina. It was very conveniently located close to board/ski rental, dining and our bus stop, making it easy to arrive and depart. The hotel featured a nice pool where we could relax after a day of exploring, which was a great way to unwind. The breakfast was also good, providing a nice start to our mornings. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Huacachina!

The property is centrally located and very clean, but very loud all night. Music was loud until 4am. We did not sleep at all. Breakfast opens at 6:30am, but they did not open until 6:40am. We had to meet our tour at 6:45am. We did not get a chance to grab any breakfast.

The hotel was what was advertised. We had to wait 15 mins outside as there was no one at the reception and they did not pick up the phone listed in expedia. The room was ok, but the toilet was broken and the water kept running all night, not filling the tank. The shower water was either boiling hot or cold, no in between. The breakfast was very complete and the staff went out of their way to make boiled eggs (instead of scrambled they were serving). The pool was nice. The internet was not great in the room, so I asked if I could use the reception office to take a work video call, and they did, that was nice! There is construction on the road outside, which made it difficult to cross to the oasis, but I managed to cross over a hotel across the street.
