Charming decor and conveniently located. I would recommend booking a cabin over a lodge room. Our room was literally 4 feet from the reservation office and at the base of the stairs. So lots of noise with people going up and down and not very private.

Shower was terrible at draining. Had to stop shower so it didn’t overflow. Room should have never been rented out with a plugged shower. Checkout was at 10:00 am so we packed the car and went to breakfast at 7:00 am hoping to come and rest a little before getting back on the road. When we got back an hour later our door code had already been changed and the maid had already stripped the bed and started cleaning. It was a cute small cabin but we were very disappointed with the shower and the maid taking over the room before we were done.

I think this place is only for old timers. The room itself is like you're sleeping on the street, you can hear all the noises. There were calling three o'clock in the morning, and you can hear the answering machine. Anyway, it's not too bad, it's just Like a time capsule 50 years old locked in time

This unique hotel is on the National Register of Historic Places and its age shows. It’s old, and with the timber construction it’s quite noisy. You can hear other rooms clearly and if you’re on the main floor, the footsteps above really carry.

They offer rustic rooms and cabins at this property. We rent a room in the main lodge. Check in consisted of a note hanging on the office door with your information. We never encountered any staff during our two night stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Electrical in room was a little sketchy. Our room had romex wire coming out of the wall with an electrical outlet on the end under a chair. The front door to the Lodge is hard to close without making a lot of noise. I felt bad because we left at 4:30 am both mornings to get to Yellowstone and I could not close the door quietly. I’m sure the other guests were happy with us. Parking is another thing that I did not care for. We had to park out in the street that is the main highway through town. I was not really comfortable with this. I realize that this property is an old rustic place, but I feel it needs some TLC.

We chose this location by previous reviews but found them absolutely wrong. We never seen a staff member, the room smelled of small rodents when we opened the door. We arrived at 6:30 pm and saw someone leaving the office, which we entered and found out key taped on a door with our pass code on it. We stayed as we already paid for the night online. We realize that prior reviews can't be totally trusted but we sure were disappointed with this property. Live & learn I guess.

This establishment is basically a do it yourself type place. No one in the office at 3:30 pm to check us in or for the rest of the night. Another guest filled us in on how to proceed. No staff whatsoever to ask questions to or point us in the right direction. Everyone had only a note on a board with your name and your room number and code to get in. It advised to look at a map to find your room or cabin. It said check out was 10 am with no exceptions. Also said they would not answer a phone call after 8 pm because they needed their sleep too. The cabin: floor was very uneven so it felt like walking downhill. Beds were way too soft. We both got very little sleep and woke up with a backache.There was a big cobweb behind the toliet. A note from a housekeeper that basically asked for an appreciation tip. The only time we saw anyone was when we were driving away just because she was checking to see if people had left. My opinion is they want to run a business without being there. What if we would have had an emergency or needed something in our room? Heaven forbid if it was after 8 pm because their sign said they wouldn't answer calls! There is questionable security as anyone could have grabbed those notes with the codes and gotten into any room. The other two parties that were there were just as confused and disillusioned as we were. We would NEVER recommend this place and certainly never stay there again. Quite a few other places in town that I'm sure would be ten times better.

This place was really nice. VERY CLEAN! The bed was comfortable. Looked like a mountain cabin. Shower was good. Need to bring my grandsons- so we can spend the night in one of the cute cabins.

Regulating the room temperature was also a little difficult, but the price was great and we would definitely consider staying here again. We usually prefer a motel that has breakfast included, but because the price was reasonable, we were very happy to buy breakfast at the Cowboy Cafe down the street.

There was no one manning the office when we checked in and a piece of paper with instruction on how to unlock the room door was taped to the office door. We stayed in the main building because the cabins were closed. The room was fine but there was only one power outlet for plugging in devices. There was no air conditioning in the room so we opened the window and let the air circulate a bit before going to bed. There were many restaurants within walking distance.

Very cute cabins. The main office building is really nicely decorated. Parking is very convenient. And the cabin has everything you need and is super clean. Excellent wifi and Direct TV which we greatly appreciated since the Old Faithful Inn didn’t have a TV at all and the room was so much more expensive.

I’m sure experiences will vary greatly based on room. Our room was facing a gas station, with lights on all night, and the curtain definitely didn’t keep the light out. Add to that traffic and a less than comfortable bed and you have a difficult night. It looks nice, however.

. The ice machine was outside of the building directly against the side of the wall where the headboard of the bed was. It made a loud whirring sound making it impossible to sleep. The management is on site for a few hours a day and they don't respond to messages. When I happened to find someone the morning of our second day,the manager was aware of the problem, but said it would stop after cycling through. It did not.I have a feeling that the guest's comfort is not a priority at this lodge. There were some other smaller issues as well, but the ice machine and the subsequent dismissal of our concern by management was the biggest.

The room was very nice. Love the atmosphere of accommodations. Unfortunately, there were a few issues. There was no AC, so we are okay with opening the windows, but one window wouldn't stay open and the only other window was facing the main road through town, so you heard traffic all night long. The other issue was that the toilet had to be fixed from running all the time. We were finally able to make it stop running.

We were in Cabin 20. It’s cramped with two queen sized beds. 4 people would be miserable. A great fan and it’s good because no AC and it was hot. Bathroom is exceedingly tiny and floor slopes and there’s nothing to grab onto when exiting shower. Historic cabin which is cool but it’s not exactly comfortable

The cabin was a great layout snd clean, but definitely could use some attention to cleaning, the microwave had not been cleaned. Our toilet had a leaking valve with a nite to turn off the water vavlve, not something I really find fun or sanitary when staying on the road. We booked a family cabin with a futon but were given a cabin with only four beds so someone had to sleep on the floor. All transactions are through text messages, no staff on site. Found the manager the next morning and they blamed it on Expedia. Expedia said it was the motels mistake. Doesn’t change the fact that someone had to sleep on the floor.

Check in was very easy, and owners made sure we were satisfied with the size of our room. They also provided suggestions for dinner and were very responsive. The room size was perfect for our family of 6, and we loved that we could park right in front of our cabin. The room was mostly clean, although it didn't seem that the hard floor had been cleaned recently, as all of our feet were black not long after walking around in the room. The curtains in the bathroom did not provide any privacy, as they were sheer and you could see right through them. This wouldn't have been much of an issue but there was a camper parked about ten feet behind the bathroom. Lastly, we were disappointed that there was literally nothing provided in the kitchenette except for coffee. No paper towels, no dish soap, not even any paper plates or plastic silverware. Kind of inconvenient considering the resort didn't offer breakfast of any kind and we needed to eat in our room. Overall, we were satisfied for a one night stay, but I would have given a 5 star review with those few changes.

What a fantastic little lodge. We were in desperate need of a place as our tent had sprung a leak out at Grand Teton National Park. Twin Pines was the closest place and we couldn't have been happier! Check-in was a breeze. Great coffee! and what a cute little town in Dubois, WY. The Cowboy Cafe is fantastic! Thank you for being there for us in our time of need! Would definitely stay again.
