Room was pretty clean, but one of the beds did seem to have stained sheets. It was hard to tell if they were dirty or just stained. The staff changed them very quickly. The refrigerator also leaked over night and we woke up to a large puddle of rusty water on the floor. The room also smelled like maybe it used to be a smoking room. Otherwise, it was fine. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

The room was sparse but functional. Amenities that i have come to expect were lacking like hair dryer, iron and ironing board, coffee maker, and toiletry items (there were 2 bars of soap) . The TV kept losing the signal and the volume (which required a staff assistance to reset the box - then lost the signal again and didn't have tv for the rest of the night). Don't think I will use Motel 6 again.

Stayed one night. Used bath rags were left in the tub from the previous check in. Tv remote had one battery. Had to go get more from front desk. Were told there was an elevator (traveling w dog)... Was put on the 2nd floor in the outside wing by the concrete stairs. It was not worth the money.

Room was very clean and updated. But very basic. No lamps, clock or hair dryer or coffee maker. So just be aware of that. Didn't bother us since we just used for GameDay, and the desk let us borrow a hair dryer. There was coffee made downstairs as well.

A well run hotel with a clean well kept room. Note that Hotel 6 is basic, if you would like a hair dryer, you need to ask at the front desk. There is no breakfast but there is coffee available. For the difference in price you can buy your own breakfast. They include bar soap, so if you prefer something else, bring it with you. They also do not include shampoo, lotion, or kleenex, so bring your own. This is a very nice hotel.

Everything was great with our stay. The only thing I would suggest is investing in different towels for drying off. The ones we had were very old and did not dry you off very well due to how thin they were. We also had stains on some of the wash clothes.

Loved how well lit the parking lot is and the hotel has large rooms and bathrooms. It is in a very convenient location. for multiple restaurants or a quick trip to WalMart to pick up anything you may have forgotten to pack.
The only downside is there is no coffee maker in the room which means you have to get dressed to go to the lobby to get your early morning coffee.

We stayed for a week the first day they cleaned the room the rest of the stay we had to ask for cups,toilet paper, trash bags, towels. The walls are so thin if you plan on being awake by 4:45 am you will be fine. You can hear the all that is discussed in the rooms all around.

Overall it was a good stay. The staff was very nice and accommodating. It was a little annoying that they kept asking for a 5 star review. The hotel has been renovated and you can tell that everything is new. However, it’s still a Motel 6, so there are very few amenities. No breakfast. No lamps. No coffee pots in the rooms. No toiletries or hair dryer. The towels are very thin and small and they only give two to a room. I kept having to ask for new towels every night. But, the location was very good and close to many stores and restaurants. The parking lot was well lit. The pool looked nice, but it was too cold to swim.

The parking lot wraps around the building, nice for when towing a trailer but also not enough parking for larger vehicles/trucks/semis (common in Texas). Check in was easy & efficient, clean front lobby and parking lot which also was nice and brightly lit. However when we got to our room, it was a different story. Bedspread was visibly dirty, like someone walked on it & then closer inspection revealed some red/brown blood like spots. Flipped the comforter back and it was very obvious blood spots & hand like print marks. Pillowcase also had 2 long, dark hairs on it. Spoke with front desk & he was VERY accommodating, brought clean linens & helped remake the bed. It is a VERY no frills, just stay for the night, kind of place. Pool looked great, didn't swim (too late at night) but it didn't smell heavily of cholorine & was clean. We did NOT hear the freeway at all, or other people in the rooms around us but there was a hallway door that by 0530, people couldn't resist letting it slam shut time & time again. So we were awaken earlier than planned, that door needs fixed on 2nd floor breezeway by the elevator (we were 3 rooms away from that hall door so not immediately adjacent/shared wall. It needs a tension rod thingy & not allowed to slam shut on its own.I couldn't fathom the other rooms noise!) So if the hotel changes its linen changing practices & fixes the door, I'd be using them again (as we go to Brenham at least 2x a year) & they would have gotten a higher rating overall.

Look it’s a Motel 6… however things could have been much better.. Like no stains on bed sheets, and towels, being charged for early check in and for unsecured parking. To add, the rooms also lacked any furnishings. No lamps anywhere in sight. Instead you’re relegated to using the overhead lights which are abusive to the eyes. There were no arm chairs in the room either, apart from one pitiful desk chair that didn’t serve much purpose as the desk was a foot deep and pressed against the TV. To add, if you want to iron your clothes or steam a dress you’d be pressed to find an iron in the room as well. Lastly be sure to bring your own hair dryer as there isn’t one provided for you as there is in most hotels, even Motel 6’s. One more point, I like to use the bathroom in my hotel room, without having to look at a roach sized hole in the wall and letting my imagination run wild.

I usually don't stay at motels but my husband is staying here with his work crew & I came just for a night to bring fresh clothes.
The staff offered to do his laundry (for a small $20 fee) & it was ready a few hours later.
The 2 employees I came in contact with were marvelous, very friendly & helpful.
They did just do a full reno of the hotel so it is very clean & updated - I was very surprised that this was a Motel 6, which usually has a pretty bad reputation.
Great job to the owners & staff - I was VERY surprised!

Beautifully structured with care

I was very professional and friendly, answered questions and was always smiling and ready to do above and beyond the issue.

I will say the next time I will make sure my room faces the EAST the afternoon sun is intolerable for me it was so hot.

I inquired about the lighting. There are the (can't remember what it's called but it's the latest, greatest new lighting....but no....) I think the lighting looks art deco and nice BUT if you are laying in the bed to watch tv, it's like a spotlight on you, so it was that or lay in the dark. I chose the later.

I went to Applebee's for dinner the last night and met a couple who were there for the weekend and she LOVED her room and was happy except for the lighting. She agreed the lighting is nice, but it needed a lamp some kind of soft lighting for evening. She also chose to watch in the dark.

I was still very happy, I chalked it up to it's brand new, they are still getting the character set up.

The building looks great the rooms are great. I prefer to pull up to my door rather than go through an entry because it's an easy unload. There are rails in some areas that you will have to walk through or around to get to your door. I have to be able to pull up to door with no objects to conqer I over pack plus I have my work things (a lot of files tooooooo) AND my dog! I am also older so I need the door right there~ just a fyi for older, traveling saleswomen to request a no rail door. It adds character to the building & is nice.

The property and room was nice but the customer service was lacking. When i checked in i let the staff know i would be checking out at check out time (11am) due to a 13 hour drive ahead of me. At 9 am housekeeping was knocking on the door so again i told them i was checking out at 11. Then at 10 am my 15 year old daughter and i witnessed a grown man (employee, possibly owner) peeping through the window, then knocked on the door asking if i was checking out.

Very few amenities, however, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were very considerate. Good place to stay if you need a quick over night. My family were attending a wedding, and we were able to get 2 rooms side by side. We saw, but did not get a chance to check out the pool. There were renovations in the lobby, but I wouldn't hold that against the overall experience.

This location is obviously going through a remodel. My room was freshly done and very nice and clean.

Im aware this brand is budget friendly and no frills, but i feel even other budget lines have several amenities.

When walking into this queen room, you get a room with a small fridge, tv and a bed. There's no chairs, no desk, no lamps, no do not disturb sign and pretty sure no alarm clock. However there was a phone but I'm sure that's a code issue.

Theres plenty of towels, but very thin and small. No shampoo, no conditioner, only very small bars of soap.

The main issue was housekeeping. I was only there for 1 night. Check out was 11am. At 926am, I'm getting woke up by housekeeping beating on the door. I asked what time check out was and she confirmed 11am, said I'll be leaving then. Then again at 1030 asking for housekeeping, i said check out is 11, l leave then. This probably could've been avoided if the motel provided do not disturb signs, but seemed very redundant and aggravating. But all in all the remodel was well done and room was clean.....
