Best onsen we've stayed in and very much worth the cost. Yufuin, is small and walkable, fun place. Would love to revisit!!!!

It’s quite old and not really clean. The area under the bed was very dusty (we dropped something) and found other things others had dropped. Food was also average and not very worth the price we paid. The only good thing is that the room was big.

We want to experience a ryokan stay in Japan and decided to choose this property for a night. Our checkin was straightforward. The room was a little dated but has good size with a living area. The bathroom was very small but understandable with this style of property. We enjoyed the use of the onsen which was quite nice. We were disappointed with the breakfast and dinner which were included. It was our tenth day in Japan and we really enjoyed our every meal except for the breakfast and dinner served here which we felt were substandard especially for the amount we paid for the room. Meals at other hotels that we stayed prior to were much better. After the disappointment with breakfast, we walked over to Lawson the convenient store located next to the hotel and bought sushi roll and a croquette which was more gratifying. If food is not what you’re looking forward to, then this property is ok. There were other properties which received very good reviews but were fully booked so we really had no choice,

Nice hotel with indoor and outdoor onsens

Nice Japanese boutique hotel within walking distance to town. Single storey Japanese style cottages or rooms (new wing) surrounded by Japanese gardens and features. 4-5 private in door and outdoor onsens to choose from. Delicious breakfast and for those with 1/2 board, the set dinner was very good with free flow of sake, coffee/tea and orange juice. Coffee/tea and orange juice also available at the reception lobby throughout our stay. Will stay again if visiting Yufurin in near future

Hotel was at a good location as it was on the main road and easy to find and near many eating places plus a Lawson convenience stop just next to their parking lot . All within walking distance . The town of Yufuin is small andit takes 10 minutes to go by car to the railway station where there seems to be more shops. It was a 5 minute drive to Kirinko , the lake. Enjoyed a very early morning walk in the neighborhood which was picturesque and had a lovely breakfast by the lake side with freshly baked bread and brewed coffee. No meals were served at the hotel because of Covid but there was free coffee and juice served in the lobby of Hotel. The Onsen bath was good and there were family or private baths too. Rooms were in cottages and beds were comfortable.

This was a wonderful place to stay! The hotel is pet friendly, although we didn't bring ours. There are four cats that live there and we loved seeing them wandering around the property and snoozing in the lobby area. There are four private baths and they are all great. No reservation needed. The breakfast was delicious and worth the money. The old building has been restored beautifully and we enjoyed everything so much! The location as well is perfect--we walked to all the shopping and restaurants.

Yufuin Lamp no Yado is a beautiful place to stay. There is a central area where you can prepare and eay your own meals and they offer free cold and hot drinks so even if you are travelling alone you could chat with others. We loved the traditional feel but with modern amenities.

The staffs were very helpful and friendly. They were wonderful. However, we were staying in room #8, there was a portable toilet sitting right in front of our room. It was disgusting. The sound isolation of the windows were very bad. The hold nights, there was very loud insects chirping noise from the field outside the room. My wife and I had difficulty to sleep because of the noise.

Very good service attitude as well as beautiful property. We enjoyed the stay and the tour around Yufuin. The check in staff recommended us with few attractions and provided us clear directions of the place. The service staff helped with our very heavy luggage. Private Onsen is fantastic too. The dining place comfortable and cosy. Room for improvement is if they are able to make the bed (futon) for us, instead of self service. Overall, it was an awesome experience!

在郊外房間有蟲子是正常的，旅館房間有滅蚊器和滅蚊濟。職員很有禮貌，有耐性說明旅館的設施，溫泉如何使用。狗和貓很可愛，貓咪晚上進了我們的房間，貓咪很開心地在房間玩了半小時，想出房間時會叫我們開門，很有靈性。距離由布院JR很近，步行去只需8分鐘，十分方便。

星星是給晚餐的，除了晚餐可以之外，其餘都不太喜歡住R1房！房間偏小，床沒有床架差不多是貼地訓，睡得不舒適，而且床邊很多塵垢，電視在床的側邊，睇電視好麻煩，Wi-Fi很差Netflix根本用唔到，浴室水壓不夠，湯屋溫泉水溫偏低！下次再到由布院不會選擇呢一間了。

Sweet tourist attractions suitable for couples

The service staff is very warm and considerate, and the environment is beautiful, suitable for taking photos and relaxing.
You can leave your luggage and borrow a bicycle for free, and you don't have to walk a long way to the lake.
There are free microwave ovens, washing machines, beverage machines (soda, coffee, water), ice and hot water in the lobby.
There is a Lawson next door. You can buy things when you are hungry in the middle of the night.
There are two cute cats, a golden hound, and a relaxing rural atmosphere.

I came with my family. But I think it's more suitable for couples. It's a little strange that the family is naked together.
No. 2 hot spring is very hot... My family and I are probably cooked.😅
There is dinner, but I think it's a little ordinary. Maybe I will try to eat in other restaurants.

アジアからの外国人が8割を占めるくらいいらしてました。温泉の入り方の問題でマットが汚れてしまうのでお使いくださいと日本人には足拭きマットを差し入れてくれる配慮がありました。猫や犬の看板動物がいてとても癒されますよ♪動物好きにはもってこいです。

スタッフの方はほとんど外国人の方のようでしたが、しっかり教育されている感じで不便も感じなかった。

2泊しましたが、食事は１日目の手巻き寿司はインバウンド向けだと思いました。夜のお酒も含めた飲み放題とフロントのドリンクの機械や自転車の貸し出しはありがたかった。

ひとつ残念だったのは部屋の加湿器の底がだいぶ汚れていたので水を補充する時に気になりました。
その他は清潔で過ごしやすかったです。
あと貸切風呂が５つあり、タイミング良く入れて良かったです。

프라이빗 온천탕이 5개가 있어서 너무 좋았어요. 원할때면 언제든지 온천을 즐길 수 있었습니다. 어플로 현재 이용가능한 탕을 확인할 수 있어서 바깥에서 기다릴 필요가 없었고, 시간제한도 없었기 때문에 어느 시간대든 편리하게 이용할 수 있었어요! 강아지와 고양이가 있어서 지나다닐 때마다 기분이 좋았고 직원분들도 모두 친절했습니다. 저녁도 아침도 맛있고 배부르게 잘 먹었어요! 한가지 아쉬운점은 입실하자마자 방에서 머리카락이 많이 보였고 구석구석 먼지가 많아서 아쉬웠습니다.

연말이라 관광객이 많아 조금 붐비긴 했지만..주변이 조용하고 도보 이용 가능한 거리입니다.

비가와서 쌀쌀한 날씨탓에 방의 온도가 낮다고 느껴져서 에어컨 온풍기를 틀었는데 순식간에 쓰레기 냄새가 온 방에 가득찼어요. 가까이 가서 보니 필터는 물론 주변 청소가 10년은 안되어있는듯 묵은 먼지때가 보여서 가동을 중지시키고 환기를 한 후 춥게 잠을 자야만 했습니다.
온천과 식사는 좋았으나 청결부분에서 너무 좋지않은 경험을 하게되어 다음에 다시 오진 않을것같아요.

숙소 위치, 분위기, 친절함, 식사까지 모두 만족했습니다. 5개의 개인 온천은 정말 대박... 실내 온천도 너무 좋고 노천탕도 대박입니다 ㅠㅠ 비가 부슬부슬 내리는데 노천탕에 몸담그고 있으니 정말 천국이었어용. 새벽에 자전거 타고 유후인 활보하는것도 좋았고 유후 거리나 편의점과 가까워서 너무너무 좋았습니다!! ㅠㅠ

방도 매우 깔끔해서 좋았고, 저녁과 아침도 맛있었습니다.
QR코드로 비어있는 온천 확인할수 있어서 편하게 온천욕을 즐길수 있는 점이 좋았습니다. 적지 않은 가격이지만, 돈이 아깝지 않은 경험을 할 수 있는 숙소라고 생각합니다.
유후인 역(기차,버스터미널)과 도보로도 가까워 접근성도 좋고 숙소 바로 옆에 로손 편의점이 있어 야식,주전부리 구매에도 좋습니다.

きれいで清潔な部屋、親切なスタッフさん、美味しい料理、あつあつの温泉（家族風呂）、かわいい猫ちゃんたち、和を感じる建物、全て良かったです

다방면으로 좋은 숙박

- 걸어서 30초 거리에 편의점 있어서 좋음
- 직원분들 친절해서 좋음. 일본어, 영어 둘다 가능
- 저녁밥, 아침밥 제공해줬는데 맛있음.
- 식사 때 주류 공짜로 마실 수 있음
- 번화가까지 걸어서 5~10분 거리에 있음. 왔다갔다하기 편함
- 긴린코 호수까지는 거리 있는데 걷는 맛이 있음
- 시설도 깨끗하고 물도 짱짱하게 나옴
- 드라이기는 좀 약함
- 아침 6시에 근처 초등학교에서 학교 종 울림
