Booking the room in the beginning was a mistake I will never again use this hotel because they not only charged me for the room which is normal but they held a $399 deposit from my bank card didn’t even tell me then when I ask the lady when checking out about the deposit she denied taking from my account and said I was only charged for the room not only that,the pull out couch was nasty the mattress has blood like stains all over it and the bedding even had blood stains. My old man found a bed bug on the mattress of the bed. Very horrible experience and they told us we couldn’t ask for sheets and a blanket for the pull out couch. The room had mildew smell so a majority of the night we couldn’t even stay in our room. All around horrible and a lost cause specially when it comes to money don’t use this hotel I’d recommend going elsewhere.the only good thing was it was close to the casino

Room was clean except for the tub after we showered we found black hairs in tub must have come off the curtain.
Bed was comfortable.
Breakfast was THE WORST!!! No Milk. Breads were left out all day and hard. No meat for breakfast.
Pool area was bad they had one lounge chair and it was ripped up. Outside restroom was nasty and found another lounge chair inside of restroom it was ripped up too. We won’t be staying here again!

The room was spacious and clean. The staff was helpful and the convenient location right next to Winstar is a huge plus! The only negative is that the wifi didn't work well and 5G wasn't strong either, but other than that, I'd stay here again!

We had a short stay. Property was good, location was great. We had issue with a/c not cooling. It was uncomfortable for us to get ready for our event. When we returned it was better, not great. If we were staying longer we would not have been ok with it.

The room was hot the unit by the window was not working but when I checked out they told me there was an individual thermostat by the bathroom door which I did not see so I'll never know if it was broke or not it was 78 to 80° in the room I recommend not getting in the bed not using the bathroom facilities until you get your room checked out when things are in question like this

We booked through Expedia for a last minute trip. Upon getting to the hotel, we were unable to access our room due to the door key pad dying. The personal onsite has to use the master physical key to open the door. He informed us if we left the room we would get locked out and would need to ask for assistance again. Once we finally got in, we noticed there was mold on the curtains hanging over the window unit. I made comment with the associate in the room. After he left, we inspected further and found the curtains had mold all over them, which were right next to the bed. At this point I had no faith in the cleanliness of the rooms and asked for a refund as this was a major health concern for me due to personal reasons. He informed me that Expedia would have to request the refund, which his manager would then approve. Expedia allegedly reached out multiple times with no response therefor denying us our refund. The manager who is the only personal authorized to approve refunds is OOO, which I understand. However, it has been over a week at this point and we have received $100 in Expedia credit, which does absolutely nothing towards the $540 we paid for 2 rooms that were unusable.

The hotel is a cheap option to stay near the casino. The property was not staffed and dirty, the front door trash went from full to overflowing in a 1/2 days time. The pool looked like it was abandoned in place last season, the snack area was empty (no water for guest to buy). Room was clean and worked for what I needed. I would stay again but don't expect anymore than a room and a bed. Breakfast was a waffle and cereal as the only two items.

When I reserved the room, I had no idea it wasn’t connected to the hotel. Inside smelled musty, and didn’t see or feel clean. The front desk lady was rude as hell. After driving 8 hours in straight rain, I got there around 2pm. I was tired from the drive, and just wanted to go to the room. Without even checking to see if the room is available yet, she instantly said we’re going to have to charge you for early check in. I’ve worked for hotels before, so she could have told me let me check and see if we have one, instead of rudely saying there’s an early check in fee. Really? 2pm is not that early. Long story short, after driving in the rain for 8 hours, I had a headache. I then no longer wanted to get back in the car to drive to the casino. I will not stay there again!

The room i booked months in advance was overvooked when we got there. Highly disappointed in the hotel. The room was very hot. Pillows on the bed were couch pillows not bed pillows. The couch in my room had a big dip in it and it was very hard to get out of the hotel was clean, but it needed a lot of TLC. I asked when I got to the front desk if I could get a hotel room close to the main lobby or the elevator if we had to go on another floor and she told me no that my room was down by the exit door.

I was skeptical based on what I read but this was perfect for what I needed. I traveled alone and stayed 2 nights and felt perfectly safe. Check in was easy. The room was very large and I was glad to have a couch as I spent a bit of time in the room and it was nice to not have to sit on the bed the whole time. Was walking distance to a delicious Mexican restaurant. Easy to get an uber to and from the venue in the casino for the concert. My only complaint is the small market in the property was out of water for purchase and the hairdryer in my room didn’t work and the coils were bright red when plugged in. I was glad I packed a hairdryer just in case. Otherwise was truly perfect for what I needed.

I booked our reservation on hotels.com a couple of months ago. We got to the hotel at 3:30 PM. The desk clerk said that our room wasn't ready. I went outside and informed my wife. After about 10 minutes, I went back in and asked how much longer it would be before our room was ready. The desk clerk then said that my reservation had been flagged as fraudulent because I had make the reservation through expedia.com and that expedia.com and bookings.com were in the process of merging and that it was causing problems with the reservation. I asked if he could somehow override the issue and was told no. I asked if the reservation could be canceled and the room could be sold to me as a walk in and was told no. Because I was from out of state and my reservation was flagged as fraudulent, I could not use a credit card. I had to pay with cash. I said ok and walked out. I called the Best Western down the street. They had rooms available. They cost more but were able to accommodate us immediately. We had a very nice stay at the Best Western and they will always get our business. I tried to call the Red River Inn to cancel my reservation twice and they didn't answer. We stopped by the Red River Inn on our way to the casino to let the clerk know that we would not be staying there and to cancel our reservation. He said ok. That was the only time he was helpful. We had never stayed at the Red River Inn before and we never will. The demand for cash rather than a credit card seemed sketchy.

Had a phone call shortly before visit that my card would not run and they may have to cancel room. Gave them two different card numbers and neither one would process. Told them I would pay cash. When I arrived none of their credit cards were processing. This is entirely unacceptable and a backup option needs to be in place with a separate way to charge if they have a system issue. Some of us rely on credit cards to pay. After I got checked in and to my room everything there was really good but the remote to the tv did not work. So I had no tv. For $271 a night at a very low star hotel they should have their cleaning service ensure the remote turns the tv on and off before finalizing room. Had it not been for the credit card issue, the less than friendly staff and the remote I would have raised my rating from the last visit. As it stands this hotel needs some improvement especially at these prices which they only get due to being right by Winstar. In any other town these rooms would only be worth 80 bucks a night. If you have the cash stay somewhere else.

We were worried with all the bad reviews, but had a nice stay. Hotel and room were clean and smelled great. Breakfast waffles were really good. Check in and out were both fast. 15 minute walk to the WinStar, or walk across the street to the Win Inn and hop on the shuttle. Overall, we had no issues and would stay again.

About the only thing going for this hotel was the location to casino (of course) and the staff were friendly. The room was spacious and the spa tub in the room was good. The lock on the door didn't work, we did use the latch or fold out latch. The TV was too small for the space and you couldn't turn the volume or channel when laying in the bed. Had to be right in front of the TV. The shampoo bottle in front of the spa tub was used, barely had any in it. The carpet was coming up pretty significantly around the border from front door tile to room flooring. The sink in the bathroom sprayed you if you turned it on more than a trickle. The shower was fine until you tried to move and it would creak loudly and made you feel you might fall through. The pillows on the bed were like 4x4's, not regular size. To close the curtains for privacy, the curtains hung over the a/c unit and kinda in the way. The place needs upgrades. It was grossly overpriced! We won't ever stay there again unless upgrades are made and/or the price significantly reduces. We have stayed at way better hotels for a third of what we paid. Unfortunate experience, but we made the best of it.

Hotel is somewhat dated. An outlet near one nightstand was missing the plastic cover plate. Large water spill coming from first floor ice machine. \"New\" credit card processing system was glitching so hotel called earlier in day before check-in asking us to pay cash. Overall all not a bad stay. Free breakfast was good.

Not bad for the price but the rooms could use some updating. The bedside lamps both had rust on them, the A/C was extremely loud and the furniture showed a lot of wear. My only real complaint would be the terrible pillows on the bed, there were five pillows but they were all the size of small throw pillows rather than normal bed pillows. Overall this isn't a bad hotel and the price wasn't bad.

Very HUGE clean rooms, great for large groups or families with children. The staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive.Basic breakfast and the pool is outside. If you're just looking for a room close to the casino or shopping or theme parks, this is MY #1 recommendation. The only thing I am not comfortable or used to, but is completely SAFE, is the water. It feels slimy due to the water softener, but that is how it is at all the hotels in that area. I've stayed at all, but this one is an OVERALL pick for budget and crawling distance between casino and 30 minutes to Dallas/Ft Worth, Grapevine, 10 minutes to Gainesville.

The room was ok. The floor tile in the bathroom was loose and moved when walked on. The air conditioning was not working and called the front desk after several attempts. The buttons on the phone where not programed correctly for front desk and wake up call. The room temp never got below 77 deg after calling about the ac not working. The pillows where smaller than a standard sized throw pillow. Informed the front desk when checking out about the ac and they didn't seem to care and no apologies. Couldn't chect in 45 min early, told me because it was booked through hotels.com and they were paid through 3rd party booking. Covenant location to casino.

The lady that checks you in is very nice and extremely informative. The hotel itself could use some work, a little updating . It smells like mothball with hints of mold. But you get what you pay for and overall the price fits the accommodations. It’s so close to the Casino, it’s a 2 minute walk.

The room was clean. The mattresses were extremely hard and not very comfortable. The staff that checked us in and out was polite. Although this did not apply to me because I paid in advance, it should be noted that they only take cash payments up front and consumers should be aware of this. The breakfast was not great and not a lot of options. The waffle maker timer wasn't working. They ran out of coffee and no one came to refill it. The orange juice was bitter. The fruit looked very old.

When we got to the hotel at 1:30 in the morning, we found out that our reservation was cancelled. They said that our card was declined and they gave away our room. They said that they called, but they didn't leave a message and they didn't email us either. We could have resolved this problem quickly if we had known there was a problem. SO we were stuck with no where to stay.
