Not bad for the price but the rooms could use some updating. The bedside lamps both had rust on them, the A/C was extremely loud and the furniture showed a lot of wear. My only real complaint would be the terrible pillows on the bed, there were five pillows but they were all the size of small throw pillows rather than normal bed pillows. Overall this isn't a bad hotel and the price wasn't bad.

Hotel property needs better maintenance and upkeep. Complimentary breakfast is bare bones and not kept stocked with items they were offering. Limited seating, no service personnel. This needs to be improved as hotel guests deserve better.

My reservation via expedia was somehow canceled while i was standing in line waiting to check in to the hotel. I made the reservation on March 3, received a confirmation email reminder on March 25 but some got canceled on March 28, the checkin day. I dont k ow who canceled it. Beware of using expedia for reservations.

Bed and pillows were awful. Towels were stained. The shower faucet was not connected to the shower and had to hold it to turn it on. The toilet was loose. The room needs carpet, bed and pillows replaced. Also bathroom fixed. I will not stay here again.

Very HUGE clean rooms, great for large groups or families with children. The staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive.Basic breakfast and the pool is outside. If you're just looking for a room close to the casino or shopping or theme parks, this is MY #1 recommendation. The only thing I am not comfortable or used to, but is completely SAFE, is the water. It feels slimy due to the water softener, but that is how it is at all the hotels in that area. I've stayed at all, but this one is an OVERALL pick for budget and crawling distance between casino and 30 minutes to Dallas/Ft Worth, Grapevine, 10 minutes to Gainesville.

The first day breakfast there were no spoon, wafer oil spray available; I got the last mini apple for two of us.
The 2nd day there were no little Jimmy Dean sausage sandwich, fresh fruits available.
Room is is good, bath room tiles were loose and causing noises when stepping on it.
Improve customer service is needed.

Mattress was awful, broken chair in room, mini fridge did not work well, bathtub stopper did not work, the halls smelled and so did elevator, could not ever find anybody at the desk, the credit card machine was down they could only take cash, girl at desk said she called and left message day before but I had no message. Will never stay there again amd I paid $271 for one night.
Not stay there again.

The room was ok. The floor tile in the bathroom was loose and moved when walked on. The air conditioning was not working and called the front desk after several attempts. The buttons on the phone where not programed correctly for front desk and wake up call. The room temp never got below 77 deg after calling about the ac not working. The pillows where smaller than a standard sized throw pillow. Informed the front desk when checking out about the ac and they didn't seem to care and no apologies. Couldn't chect in 45 min early, told me because it was booked through hotels.com and they were paid through 3rd party booking. Covenant location to casino.

Pool was not open yet. Beds were very uncomfortable. Pull out bed bed had no linen. Breakfast was 1/10. Orange juice was sour, apple jucie was out. Water and cereal with milk was your options. There were a few muffins, bagles and frozen jimmy dean biscuits. Over all the cost/value was poor.

Room is big, tub was clean, staff were cordial, breakfast was not pleasing, to the eye. At, 8:30 our selection was A \"not so fresh looking apple\" left to select, nothing else. Which lead me to believe we missed BREAKFAST?? While the hours clearly stated until 9am. We left.

The lady that checks you in is very nice and extremely informative. The hotel itself could use some work, a little updating . It smells like mothball with hints of mold. But you get what you pay for and overall the price fits the accommodations. It’s so close to the Casino, it’s a 2 minute walk.

The room was clean. The mattresses were extremely hard and not very comfortable. The staff that checked us in and out was polite. Although this did not apply to me because I paid in advance, it should be noted that they only take cash payments up front and consumers should be aware of this. The breakfast was not great and not a lot of options. The waffle maker timer wasn't working. They ran out of coffee and no one came to refill it. The orange juice was bitter. The fruit looked very old.

When we got to the hotel at 1:30 in the morning, we found out that our reservation was cancelled. They said that our card was declined and they gave away our room. They said that they called, but they didn't leave a message and they didn't email us either. We could have resolved this problem quickly if we had known there was a problem. SO we were stuck with no where to stay.

When we got there they had cancelled our room but hotels.com never told us. We drove 4 hours and didn't have a room!!!! Hotels.com also charged us for the room anyway and took my bonus dollars!!! Has trouble with them once before and came back will never use hotels.com again.

We did not like our room. It had a weird smell like old mildew. The blanket was not a blanket merely a sheet with decorative on it. The breakfast was below average. The waffle maker took forever to cook and so did the toaster. As much as being charged for a room there should definitely be more options. Also, we had no soap in our room and I had to go ask for some. The guy at the counter told me to go find staff with a cart and ask for it. Unacceptable!

Prior to my stay, I tried calling twice to update my credit card information and the person who answered was very rude. Upon arrival I was met with a rude receptionist and when I asked for our room keys she snapped that she was only allowed to give us 2 and not more, which we didn’t ask for! Our room had a sofa sleeper; the mattress was filthy and there wasn’t any bedding for it. We went to the front desk to ask for bedding and were told that there was no additional bedding to be given. So we couldn’t even use the pull out bed, making for an uncomfortable night sleep. As we were packing to check out we were hounded by housekeeping twice! Once at 10:20am and then again at 10:55am, which felt very invasive and as though we were being kicked out. We were not trying to over stay but we had elderly family with us and having patience and not bang on our door would’ve been appreciated.
The only good thing about our stay was the size of the room but because of how rude and ill prepared the staff seemed to be I won’t be staying here again.

The hotel was nice and clean. However, it was extremely cold with the temperature in the room not reaching above 60 degrees. We asked the front desk for a blanket and they didn’t anymore blankets available. We had double beds. So we had to sleep in one bed and pull the covers off the other bed to stay warm.

The experience did not meet my expectations given the cost. The pillows were damaged, and there were loose tiles in the bathroom. However, the staff was exceptional and friendly; unfortunately, the hotel itself is quite outdated and in disrepair. The couch was worn, and we could feel the wooden frame. Additionally, there were no full-size pillows on the bed. The bathtub made unsettling noises, as if it might collapse. Furthermore, the remote control failed to turn on the television and did not function for adjusting the volume.

the ac broke didn't fix. Icebox was frozen up told us to unplug, gave us towels to clean up the water after it unthawed. gave us supposedly clean hand towel had black dots all over it. Clean wash cloth hand makeup all over it. I don't wear makeup. Ice machine was broke so had get ice on first floor we were on 3rd floor. All this was shown to staff mgr. will not refund any money. Staff came to room on ac and ice box did nothing, took both towels to them did nothing. It was horrible vacation. Spent over 500 here. I will not stay here again. We had stayed here 3 times before use to be really nice. Horrible staff and place to stay

Right off the bat they were not able to accept my credit card so I had to go get cash, no big deal. Got inside the room that I had paid over $650 for a couple nights stay and I truly have seen better rooms at Motel 8 for $29 a night. The TV did not work, the AC unit was not able to keep the room cool, and we barely had enough hot water to shower. When I did go to the front desk , I was told I would have to get with the manager in the morning . To say the very least was very unhappy with both the room and the staff. We will not be staying here ever again.
