Bathroom was not very clean & it was TOO SMALL, very uncomfortable. I booked through Hotels.com and requested a smoking room but received a non smoking & was told that if there were any ashes we’d have to pay $200.

Don't expect too much. Not updated, barely clean. This is crash and go type of place. Thought the price per night was pretty high for the quality. While it could have been worse, it was not great. We simply stopped at a \"cheap\" place to crash for the night after a long day of driving. Thankfully didn't smell and linens appeared clean. The breakfast offered was simply fake orange juice, packaged treats, some cereal, and waffle iron. Coffee was awful. Thankful something was offered, but again, don't expect much.

Should have paid me to stay there

The beds were terrible hard and you sink into the middle. Had to take a cold shower no hot water. TV didn't work air conditioner did not cool the room carpet with sticky and dirty the telephone did not work the bathroom was so small you can barely fit in it. Do not stay here

Right out of 1940's, had electric or plumbing crew in next room, they drank A LOT, were loud
and the little refrigerator made a terrible racket.

The bad experience began right off the bat with the bathtub running mysteriously. Yes, it turned on by itself - not a drip, but a full flow of water. The knob appeared to be broken but my husband figured out how to stop the flowing water. Next, I found it odd that the toilet seat was heated, but rather it was due to the very hot water in the tank (and stool). Then, there was the desk chair - terribly filthy, looked like it had sat out in the rain - plus it was simply dusty. And, and then there was the AC which didn't work on \"auto.\" Finally, the bed mattress was worn and shoddy. The hard, firm edges where definitely that, while the center was \"saggy.\" We stated because we were too tired to go elsewhere.

Nasty dirty

First the door would not open then when it did and was leaving it wouldn't open. Smelled horrible. Bugs in the window. Carpet stained and dirty. Chairs stained and dirty. Bathroom dirty bugs in bathroom. I did not stay in the room. I drove home instead of staying. I wasted my money, because I had prepaid and was not staying in the room.

America's best c*&@ whole world be best title!

The were spider webs in the room, torn carpet, stains and the chairs and curtains. The shower head was broken. When we got up at 7:30am to go get something to eat there was no breakfast offered and we were met in the parking lot by two old people who asked if we were leaving yet... check out was not till 11... what if I wanted to come back and just watch tv before I get back on the road? Thought house keeping wasn't suppose to talk to guess. A roach motel is cleaner and more professional than this place. Place not worth anything amount of money. DON'T STAY HERE!!!!!

Trying to checkout in the morning, no one came to front desk.
Sat out in the front desk area for breakfast and waited for someone to come out.
Nice waffle machine for breakfast, but no butter for on the waffle. There was syrup.

There were holes in all the linen. The mattress sunk in the middle..so you were stuck in a hole. No coffee pot in room. No phone in room. The clerk was rude and the only one there. Cigarette butts littered the grounds. Bath towels were practically see through. The room had a odor of stale farts. Room was very old and in poor repair. Refrigerator had no freezer and there was a foul odor in it. Internet worked after we tracked down the clerk and was given the password. The only reason we stayed is my husband is cheap and he had done it so it was non-refundable. I will never forgive him.

Not my best night ever

The first thing I noticed was the room smelled dirty, then I turned on the heater fan and noticed it was louder than normal. I was alone and just an overnight stay so I didn't ask to change rooms. I got air freshener to help with the smell. Had to turn off the fan to talk on the phone and also to be able to sleep. Fortunately the bed was comfortable. I will stay elsewhere in the future.

Never Again

Never again will we use Expedia for the best rates. Perhaps $100.00 per night does not get you much anymore. We stayed at the Quality Inn and Americas Best Value and ABV was worse for a little more money. I don't think there is a quality hotel in Gainesville TX. If you want to go to Winstar, you better stay at the new tower there too. Old tower is a match to Motel 6.

Quiet, small motel

This is away from the other motels along the highway, however it was great. The lady who ran it was very sweet and polite. The room was clean and had the most comfortable bed I'd ever slept in. I'd definitely stay here again.

Small and old

The first thing that you notice is how small the room and bathroom are small. The linen was not fresh. My wife found a bug (?) on the sheets. Cheaper is not always good. Will be more careful not time.
