This is an older property that needs some updates. Location is simply unbeatable. Every bus stops right in the front allowing you to go anywhere. I think all bus operators use this hotel as one of the stops in Taoyuan. The hotel is right in the middle of the city center surrounded by 3 department stores. Dining choices are too many to count.

The room was very nice with a clean, well lit bathroom. The breakfast buffet was not much of anything which was disappointing but there are many good restaurant options in easy walking distance. Good shopping just outside the hotel doors. A bus stop is right out front for easy transportation options.

Booked for two nights. After the first night we checked out forfeiting our booking.

It is impossible to sleep since our room has zero soundproofing and it was facing a main road with loud traffic all night. It was unbearable. However if one is insensitive to noise, then there won’t be a problem.

We also did not bother requesting different rooms as overall the rooms and hotel are very old and in much need of refurbishment.

Cleanliness is on the poor end and that is always the dealbreaker for us.

We decided to go down the side road with a hotel at 1/3 the price (obviously with zero amenities) but offering small, clean, modern and quiet sleeping rooms.

每次去臺灣都住這理，非常不錯的酒店，位置好，離火車站很近，周圍很多食肆，鄰近有很多購物百貨公司，購物超方便！交通四通八達，門口就有706巴士往來機場，只需約40分鐘車程。大堂很漂亮，服務十分好，前台服務人員非常有禮貌，十分感激他們主動替我跟進快遞公司運送包裹的情況。房間非常寬敞和乾淨整潔，整體感覺物超所值！特別推介酒店五樓餐廳的午市套餐，分量及食物質素都非常有水準，家人吃後都十分滿意，下次來住一定會再吃。

Excellent Hotel in TaoYuan

Hotel locates just 5 minutes walk from Taoyuan Station. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. Bus 706 can take you from airport and stops just at hotel’s main entrance. I enjoyed very much for the room’s free upgrade. It was very large and spacious. I had no difficulty in walking around inside it even I added an additional bed for my mother-in-law. Will certainly stay again in this hotel when I visit Tao Yuan again.

Good hotel let down by shoddiness

I arrived at about 9am and was registered but asked to return for check-in at 2pm. My luggage was accepted for storage in the reception area. The check-in process was OK.

The hotel is conveniently located less than 10 minutes walk from the Taoyuan station and about 20-25 minutes by taxi from the Taoyuan international airport. The hotel building is on a busy road so it is not a serene environment.

The breakfast selection was adequate for a couple of nights. After that, the limited choice on offer becomes painfully obvious.

The mien of the staff at check-in was professional and courteous. The front desk staff were attentive enough, without necessarily going out of their way to fulfil one's needs.

One incident that illustrates the shoddy and nonchalant attitude is when I raised a complained about. Feeling cold in the room even after turning off the fan. I was told that there was no temperature control in the room and that I should cover myself with a blanket (even when I was not intending to sleep). I considered this to be an utterly unprofessional comment.

However, the most unsatisfactory aspect of my stay was the sloppy manner of the staff in the breakfast area. The washing of the plates was shoddy and I was shocked to pick up a plate to serve food and be confronted with a greasy substance on my hands. This is unacceptable and for this reason alone I would be irresponsible to recommend this hotel to anyone as it is a safety issue.

Friendly Staff, but dirty, smelly room and noisy

The room we booked was a Superior Room Double Bed for one night. We chose this hotel because we had an early flight the next day from Taoyuan Airport. However, when we realized driving from Taipei would take 40 minutes and driving from this hotel in Taoyuan would take 25 minutes to Taoyuan Airport we regret our decision considering there is not much in Taoyuan to enjoy.
Location (3/5) is on a busy street.
Accessibility (3/5) was ok, but hotel car park entrance is almost on another street which can be confusing.
Hotel Condition (4/5) is good. Only built in 2014 still in a good condition.
Room Cleanliness (1/5) is terrible. Bad smell (from cigarettes) and dirty towels (blood stain on bath towel).
Room Comfort (3/5) is average. The bed was comfortable bed, but very noisy street
Room View (1/5) is not great. Viewing the busy street and old buildings cross the road.
Customer Service (5/5) is perhaps their best asset. Very friendly staff.
Internet (5/5) was very good, just like everywhere in Taiwan.
Value for Money (1/5): No no no. We paid $120 AUD for one night then had to pay another $500 TWD (~ $21 AUD) for taxi to airport. You can stay in Taipei and take taxi from there (around $1,200 TWD ~ 50 AUD).
Overall (3.0/5) New hotel, friendly staff, but dirty, smelly room and noisy neighborhood.

We booked this hotel due to hotel description show the airport shuttle is available, so when we arrived at the airport, they sent a taxi to pick up us to the hotel. However the
driver ask for NT$900.00(US$30.00), we talked with hotel manager, he said there is charge written with Chinese, but not with English on the hotel description. We don't want argue with them so we paid the money. We are so disappointed about their dishonest. And the free breakfast suck!

We have stayed there three times so far. Once last year, and twice this year during the same trip. The rooms are always nice and clean. Good space. The location of the hotel is fabulous. The problem has to do with the fact that many tour groups stay there, so there are constantly lot of tourists, and many of them do not obey the non-smoking rules. Some of them are loud. We were lucky last year, we did not smell any cigarette on our floor. This year? Horrible. The smoke came in to our room through the venting system, and it was very strong in the corridor. When we complained, the staff told us there was nothing they could do. And our second room this year had a strong smell. It was clear that people who stayed in the room before us were smokers! It was pretty disgusting. The tourists could also be very rude at breakfast, elbowing and not lining up to try to grab the food. Very unpleasant. Finally, if you decide to book a room here, request a odd-numbered room, since these rooms face the back. They are much quieter. The even-numbered rooms face the main road. it can get a little noisy. Also try to request a room away from the elevator as it also can get noisy.

Good stay in summer

The location of this hotel is excellent. Just five steps away from the bus stop; you can take bus 706A from Taoyuan airport and the bus stops just in front of the hotel. It's also 5 mins walk to Tao Yuan train station. The staff are also polite and courteous, and we were given a free upgrade during our stay.
However, the hotel is rather old and windows are not double glazed. We happened to stay in late Feb and it has been raining non stop for a couple of days. Hence, the temperature was about 8 degrees. There's no heating in the room, and so we were freezing in the room! The staff gave us additional blankets, but unfortunately it was still too cold for us =/

The room we had was great, with two toilets and a bathroom. The two toilets are great, when one is travelling in a family of five. There is a living room for more space, and the room is quite new too. It is always nice to be greeted by polite friendly counter staff after a long trip. The only slight disadvantage is that the hotel is not near any night eateries, and eating places are few after 9 pm. Nevertheless, it is a good hotel to stay in.

We stayed twice at Tao Garden during our trip to several countries in the region. We picked the hotel because it was conveniently located to visit a friend in Taiwan. It is close to bus and rail transport which we used for our local visit. We were told it is also convenient to a bus to the airport, but we used taxis rather than lug our bags. The hotel staff were efficient and helpful checking us in and during our stay, despite some language limitations. The room was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was geared to Asian tastes, but with enough Western offerings to meet our needs.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Close to train station and shopping/food. Train is a little confusing the first time taking it, but shouldn't be an issue if you do some research first. Nice welcome fruit and card with my name printed on it in the room. Taxi ride to the Taoyuan visitor night market is about 10 minutes and costs about $120-$150 NT. Bus to airport is right outside of the hotel, unfortunately, my flight was too early to take advantage of it. Great experience overall.

The customer services of the front desk staff is excellent. They helped us to keep the 4 boxes of duck wings in their kitchen refrigerator. If not, we have to eat all duck wings before we left Taiwan.

The only set back was their free breakfast. The breakfast starts 6:30 and ends 8:30, however, there is limited choice of food and the refill not frequent. As free offer, I do not expect lavish food choices, but no eggs for breakfast is something frustrating. The do have hard boiled egg but not refilled regularly. I stayed there for 45 minutes from 8 am each visit and the egg tray is empty most of the time. No fried egg or scramble egg are available. Other choices is one kind of simple sausage, ham, simple salad, bread and congee. The milk can also tends to be empty most of the time. No staff seem to ensure food refills.
Apart from this, the stay is quite satisfactory.

Worth it!

Great hotel! Great location! Close to train station and all main transportation. Bus 706 from airport stops outside of the hotel. 2 mins walk from the departments stores (Mitsukoshi and FE21). Many restaurants and cafes near by. Endless options! Highly recommend this place even though it takes about an hour to get to Taipei City. Didnt mind the journey cause there is so much to see along the way!

It is convenient for Taoyuan train station, as I arrived from Taipei for a 1 day/night trip to Taoyuan.

Great location from airport - just take bus 706 and it stops right in front of the hotel. The hotel is diagonally across from the taoyuan bus interchange as well so it's convenient getting around town. It's also walking distance to the main shopping belt.
Slight issue is that they are rather strict on check-in time of 3 PM, so ask for early check-in if you need to.

This property is new and in a great location with excellent convenience in terms of transportation and amenities. Food availability around the hotel is excellent. Staff service is as usual great. The only suggestion I have was to improve the quality and variety of breakfast. This hotel caters to large tour groups so the breakfast environment is less than ideal.

飯店感覺還不錯，停車場很棒；但是房間隔音不好，半夜會被炒醒。最驚訝是電視真的很小，好像20年前的電視，可能是古董級的20吋吧，訊號不好，而且台數很少，新聞台只能看三立及民視的新聞，電影台不但少，也不清楚，還不如不要有。早餐中西式都有，可以吃飽，其他都可以接受

そんなに高い期待をしないで利用したらいいと思います。桃園駅から徒歩圏内なので中壢駅との往復など便利です。デスク用のメッシュチェアの座面に、何か液体がこぼれたまま乾いた汚れがあり、ウェットティッシュで沢山拭きました。壁の茶色い汚れもウェットティッシュで拭いたらキレイになりました。朝食会場の椅子も汚くてウェットティッシュで拭いてから座りました。エクスペディアではホテルの設備欄にランドリーと書いてありましたが、ホテルの中にありませんでした。フロントでランドリーについて聞いたら、歩いて5分ぐらいのコインランドリーを紹介してもらいました。新しいコインランドリーで便利でした。QRコードで設定すれば終了時間がリアルタイムで分かるので、終了直前に取りに行けます。

房間和設備都很老舊。前枱服務正常，不過不太親切。反而清潔同餐廳服務員工很親切和有效率。雖然老舊但交通購物都很方便。所以有機會再到台灣也會再選這間酒店。
