I chose this hotel because it is near the ferry port but enjoyed it and would stay here again. It had excellent bar food, a large outdoor pool, good outdoor entertainment while still keeping rooms very quiet and a more local, friendly feel than some of the more traditional fancier hotels. The staff was very helpful. My room was spacious and the bathroom had two sinks, a large bathtub and a separate shower stall. It is a bit outside the old town tourist center. The breakfast buffet had a lot of choices and the food was good but not special.

We enjoyed our time at Hotel Lapad. It is well located and just a 30 minute walk to Dubrovnik Old Town and a short walk to the Lapad strip. There are great views of the harbour and the cruise ships arriving.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our recent stay at the Lapad Hotel. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. We also really liked the breakfasts (one of the best hotel breakfast we have had!). The pool area was delightful, relaxing and peaceful. The bar/restaurant by the pool was also fantastic. The location was a little far from the Old Town (about a 30 minutes walk), but the access by bus or Uber was great. So, this did not bother us at all. We also enjoyed several great restaurants nearby. We fully recommend this hotel!

The rooms were nice but small. The hotel breakfast was 5 star quality. The staff friendly and very helpful. The series of elevators you get to room was a bit convoluted and time consuming. The pool area was clean and beautiful. The shower pressure was weak for a nice hotel. Overall very enjoyable stay.

Overall, this is a very nice hotel within walking distance of Dubrovnik Old Town.
The rooms are clean and well maintained. We were made to feel very welcome. The communal areas are spacious and well maintained.

The quality of the breakfast could have been better. The swimming pool was extremely cold, not refreshing - cold!

This hotel was a 3 star at best. There was no lotion in the room or hair conditioner. No robes either.
The towels were not soft and they were dingy. It’s very dated. Good place to stay if you’re trying to catch an early ferry. The pool was nice.

We stayed 3 nights bed and breakfast in the hotel. The staff were lovely, they surprised my husband with sweet treats and a bottle of local liqueur for his birthday which were left in our room. The views from the hotel are amazing, so close to the port which is full of yachts. The bus to the Old town is a few minutes walk from the hotel and there are a good choice of restaurants close by. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

We were very pleased with this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, the cafe bar served good food and drinks, with live music on some evenings which was great. The pool area was a perfect place to relax (towels are provided) and our room was spacious. The hotel is in a quieter part of Lapad which suited us perfectly and was easy to walk out from. We slept well and had a nice view of the garden from our opening window. Housekeeping was very conscientious. The free bottle of water provided at the start of our trip was much appreciated, as were the tea/coffee making facilities and fridge. If you like a powerful hairdryer, you may wish to take your own but I otherwise can’t say enough nice things about this hotel. We would certainly go back to this lovely place. Thank you.

Lovely hotel just outside the busy old town of Dubrovnik in Lapad . Dubrovnik is easy to get to via bus or taxi and only 30 minutes from Cavtat which is a lovely little town worth a visit. The hotel room was comfortable and quiet with good air con. The bedding and towels were changed daily and the internet was good, breakfast is plentiful and varied. There is a lovely pool which we didn’t use as visited early May. Would stay definitely stay again.

This hotel is a gem tucked away from the chaos of old town, but close enough for a long walk or take a Bolt for transport.

The staff is remarkably friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy. Shower water pressure and heat are great.

The pool area was available and open. Parking was really easy and convenient on site and off the street. The included breakfast is one of the best I have had in all of Europe. There are also plenty of nearby restaurants a short walk away.

This place seems to be a local favorite and I can easily see why. I will certainly stay again next time I am in Dubrovnik!

Some of the staff at the reception desk were not exactly hospitable to some members of our party.
2 couples of our group booked rooms months in advance and one couple booked later. The couple that booked late received an upgrade to a suite. We received a bottle of wine and the others did not. One of the couples received no extra perks and when they inquired about it-one of the receptionist was rude in answering.

Plenty of choice at breakfast, gorgeous pool area. Nightly entertainment around the pool or outside on the terrace. Rooms are a little dated but comfortable and clean. Lovely view over the harbour from our room. Beautiful location opposite the harbour with several restaurants all along the front with flat walking from the hotel.

Really nice property with outdoor pool located just outside city limits on the marina. Well situated for walking into city or uber to old town. Drogan was a pleasure and very helpful.
Reasonably priced. The only odd thing was that there are two towers and we had to work through 3 elevators to get to our balcony room which was disappointing but not an epic issue. Overall I would go back

The best part about Hotel Lapad is the staff- specifically Goran at the front desk who went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. The hotel is perfectly located, and staff gave us great recommendations for going to see the Old Town. I had forgotten my things at our last hotel on Lopud and Goran went above and beyond to help me get my belongings back, thank you a million times Goran! We stayed here for a couple of nights. Room was supposed to have a balcony, but it was more a verandah shared with other rooms and covered by the hotel rooms above. The picture of a balcony room wasn’t representative of what we were booked in to at all. Hotel check in was straightforward, and they recommended a local place to eat which was within walking distance, whilst they prepared our room (we were early). The pool is good and towels are provided. There is a walled garden area next to the pool for people not wanting or able to get a poolside place. Breakfast was what you’d expect at a 4 star hotel, with lots of options. Staying in Lapad instead of the old town was ideal for us, with lots in walking distance. The old town is a bus journey or a £10 taxi ride away. Would stay again.

The Hotel Lapad was lovely. The staff was great at check in, however I did have to ask for my VIP perk the next day (bottle of wine.) The pool area is beautiful, but they put the loungers away at 7pm. Also, if you want a lounger (sun bed), get to the pool early since there aren’t enough considering the size of the hotel.

The hotel is in a lovely area, but it is a €20 taxi ride (one way) to the old town. Parking is very convenient, with a gated lot next to the hotel.

The breakfast buffet is large and has many options. They do have complimentary sparking wine, so you can make your own Bellinis

We were looking for a place close to the beach that was more affordable than the President Hotel where we stayed in the past (Iwould highly recommend that hotel over this one if you have the money).

This was about a 20 minute walk to the beach. The area around had some bars and restaurants with others about a 15 min walk away. At night they have live music by the pool. I only gave it four stars because you could never get a drink at either bar as the service was so horrible. Also, they just renovated and didn’t think through a couple of things when adding on so we had to take THREE different elevators to get to our room on the eighth floor.

This was a beautiful property in the Lapad area of Dubrovnik. Note, though, that that means it’s a 20-minute bus ride from the old town. Busses are frequent (every 10 mins), though, drop off very close to the hotel, but pick up about 10 minutes walk away, which may not suit travellers with mobility issues. The property had a nice pool, restaurant and bar, and service and breakfast were excellent. There was poolside entertainment some evenings, and pool rules meant it was possible to get a lounger during the days, if required. Note, though, this was very much an ‘in town’ hotel, The bar and restaurant had views of the pool, and the pool, therefore, was just encircled by a wall and the hotel’s buildings. It was nice enough, though. Some rooms would have had harbour views, but the majority of communal areas did not. Our room was clean, and had everything we could require. Note, though, that it was in a modern extension to the hotel and, in our case, it was three lifts and a long walk from reception. It had a small balcony and, technically, had a side-view of the harbour, but from quite some considerable distance! The most disappointing part of our stay, though, was the unlimited buffet evening meal. Options were limited and just weren’t that appetising and, while it was cheap, it just wasn’t that good. Overall, though, a good base for visiting Dubrovnik, as accommodation options in the old town itself are very limited, if not non-existent.

The hotel is in a prime location, directly opposite the Marina Frappa. The street is quiet, a few cars drive by, but it is very pedestrian friendly. There are a wide range of restaurants in the street to choose from, including the hotel itself which has an excellent buffet (morning and night). Restaurants outside range from fine dining, to gastro pub, to a top quality pizza restaurant. There is something for everyone.

There are bus stops for buses to the old town around 10 to 15 minutes walk away, at the end of the road, and a pleasant stroll to Lapad Station behind the hotel.

I stayed in a single room, 601, and it was modern, clean, and air conditioned. The bathroom is also modern, with overhead rain effect shower head, etc.

There is also poolside entertainment at night, and plenty of options outside. Beach Bar Ponat is a pleasant 20 to 25 stroll along the waterside path, and the promenade is just next to Lapad Station bus stop, behind the hotel.

All staff (front desk, dining room, bar, and room servicing) were extremely helpful, and friendly, perfect English is spoken.

it is an excellent hotel, whether you want to sunbathe poolside, walk around the Lapad peninsula, or visit the Old Town (about 20 minutes bus ride away).

A lovely hotel, really friendly. Reception is in the second building, behind the main road which confused us a little.
Staff were very nice, rooms cleaned really well, aircon, lovely pool with pool towels. The rooms were a lovely design and the bathrooms were fab.
Maybe a few more pool side umbrellas would be good.
Soft close toilet seats and maybe more usb charging points, would be something to consider in an upgrade.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Lapad so much. It is a beautiful property with comfortable and modern rooms. The pool is a delight on a very hot day (most days are hot).
I really enjoyed the location and appreciated being away from the crowds of the historic centre. Plus, I arrived by ferry which is just on the other side of the harbour from the hotel, so it was super convenient. Also, the nearby restaurants are excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

If I had to pick one fault I thought some complimentary water could have been given every day, not just first day. It was very hot and would have been a nice touch.
