Hotel was perfect for me and my wife, the ambassador room was amazing, spacious and with private balcony on the top floor.

Loved having breakfast in our room everyday.

The staff were amazing and very polite and helpful.

Would definitely recommend this hotel to all couples

Stayed here for 3 nights on arrival to Crete and was so pleasantly surprised to find this gem just outside of the main city with free underground parking, an enormous breakfast brought to your room each morning, spotless accommodations, menu with more than enough options, a spa with excellent service (Maria was the most pleasant and professional masseuse), comfortable beds and views along with staff always happy and helpful. This boutique hotel should set an example for all! Would recommend staying here if ever visiting Crete. Vasa and Georgia and ALL the workers are exceptional and we feel privileged to have met them and stayed at this Beautiful resort.

Honestly one of the worst hotel I’ve been to. The room for 3 was clearly for 2, with the 3rd person supposed to either sleep on the sofa that’s not a sofa bed, or in a tiny that’d barely fit a teenager. The staff is nice but the owner, an old lady, is the rudest person I’ve met. I asked for Tabasco and she literally told me to go and buy it myself. The breakfast is terrible, we stopped having it after 3 days because we couldn’t see it anymore. The “pool” is at best a bath tub. This is NOT a 5*, at best, best, 3*. You should avoid

Super sweet staff and reception (very knowledgeable and always willing to help with any request) ! The included breakfast is spectacular and has a lot of choices to pick from the night before ! The highlight was however the impeccable view of all of Chania from our room and sunset ! Very glad we stayed there on our honey moon !

We loved our stay at Lagon life! The staff were excellent and went above and beyond the entire stay. The room was spotlessly clean and well kept, the private pool and balcony was gorgeous. Our position meant we had a perfect view of the sunset over Chania old town and harbour which was just perfect. We could spend the afternoon in the sun on the loungers, or the evening overlooking a beautiful view of the water and lights etc. The food was great too, a highlight being the amazing breakfast brought to your room. It's about 40 min walk from the old town, a quick taxi or there are 3x local busses which are very regular from just a short walk outside the hotel. I would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone going to Chania!

Anazing Place!

Breakfast delivered to our room each day was amazing! The Choclate oreo pancakes are out of this world! Spa treatments were amazing. The room was absolutely incredible we loved the pool on the patio and the large room. The staff were incredible. So helpful and friendly! We will definitely be back to stay. It was such a relaxing place. The pool and hit tub at the spa was very nice as well. Also, dinner was fantastic and delicious. We had room service 2 nights. Cannot be eating out on the patio as the sun goes down.

My husband and I loved this hotel! It was super modern, the breakfast each morning was amazing, and the staff was so nice. The hotel has free underground parking which is a perk. The location was great - away from the crowded city center. Having a private pool was very nice and relaxing with great views. The room was so clean and very tasteful. We enjoyed our stay and will gladly return!

What a wonderful place to stay! This hotel is truly extraordinary- from the receptionist, to the room service staff, to the cleaners - everyone does their job to perfection and always with a smile. And the food is exquisite ! Made to order Breakfast was phenomenal, as were the dinners we enjoyed. Due to stormy weather, we stayed at the hotel one day and had Asian massages from Maria. We’ve had massages from different locations around the world and my husband and I both agreed that Maria’s massage was the best we’ve ever had. I want to bring her back home in my suitcase!!!

Amazing hotel, great service

We stayed for 4 nights at this beautiful hotel - it has incredible views over Chania and we loved lounging on the balcony by the pool in an afternoon. The service was excellent (breakfast was huge!) and the hotel is perfectly equipped. Be aware that the walk into town is quite far but the number 18 bus stops only a few minutes away from the hotel and takes less than 20 minutes to the town centre. We can't wait to come back!

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights at the start of our honeymoon, and it was INCREDIBLE - genuinely the best hotel we’ve ever stayed. We’re both kicking ourselves for not staying longer. From the moment we arrived, our stay felt magical - the staff was all so warm, welcoming & helpful, the food was some of the best we’ve ever had, and our room was absolutely gorgeous, comfortable, and relaxing. We truly could not have asked for a better stay and are already planning our return trip!

Whenever I come to a NATO conference in this area, I always spend some time at this hotel. This time was by far the worse treatment I have received from your restaurant staff. I had hair in my salad! I was NOT served the usual 3-tier plates for breakfast. I was given a dirty white tray and was told they were out of dishes. I DID NOT receive the usual fruit/yogurt bowl. I did not receive any bread. I did not receive any condiments with my meal. This was the WORSE treatment I have received from this hotel! My restaurant staff member was a male. My room number was 103 (I think.) I will need to look for new place to stay when I come in town for the NATO conference. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

My husband and I had a nice stay at Lagon Spirit. Our room had a very nice view of the ocean and old city. The staff was very accommodating and nice, and the food was delicious too! I would recommend this hotel if you would like to stay out of the hustle and bustle of the old city and enjoy a peaceful hotel stay. The taxi ride into town was about 10-15min. Thank you!

It's a very pretty hotel with wonderful staff and the spa services are great! The view is amazing, specially if you get one of the upper level rooms. It is situated up on a very steep hill and is a fair distance from the city center. If you have mobility issues, you might want to rent a car or book cabs for exploring the area. Lots of great beaches and swimming spots nearby as well. They'll bring breakfast to your room in the morning but it can take them a while to prepare it and bring it to you, so anticipate a wait, or tell them your preferred time in advance.

Not a good experience.

The hotel located near main road.
We came to honeymoon and couldn’t sleep on our first night, also woke up very early because of the noise.
We asked to move a room and they immediately moved us.

Private pool, the images are presenting the hotel in a really nice way however the private pools are dirty and have some black stains at the bottom and on their sides.

The breakfast, has been served to the room, we love this concept.
However, in this hotel the food was cold and the breakfast lacked a lot.

Overall, this is not what you expect from 300 euro per night.

Bright and lovely rooms. Somewhat private pool with a beautiful view overlooking Chania, and lounge chairs where you can enjoy your breakfast each morning. A couple downsides: we had a bit of an issue with ants coming in through a crack in the wall, and the food served for breakfast was average, not amazing. I would have preferred less quantity and more quality. Solid 4/5.

The manager of this hotel needs customer service training. I booked a room for two and had to add a third person a month before the stay. The room was still only for two people and they added a bed. The room was too small for three people. I asked the owner why we are in a room that is clearly for two people and why some friends that were staying at this hotel room size was double ours and there were only two in their room. The owner states \"JUST SWITCH ROOMS WITH YOUR FRIENDS\" an threw his hands up. I paid in cash for the room when I checked in and was not give n receipt. I went the next morning and asked for a receipt, the RUDE manager states, receipts are only given at checkout. I firmly let the manager know that's unacceptable. I went back later that day and was finally give a receipt. I asked it the front desk could print our covid test. The manager was frustrated by this request. This hotel does not give you an option for breakfast. They give you an assortment of random items of food. This is the first hotel I've ever stayed at where you don't pick what you want for breakfast. This hotel also has an ant problem. Many ants around the pool and outside of the door. This hotel has a good view and beautiful décor but I would not stay here again do to the poor customer service.

Hotelli oli hieno, ja henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja asiantuntevaa. Plussaa: Parveke jossa aurinkotuolit ja vesiallas. Heikkoudet: Ei erillistä kylpyhuonetta, wc-istuin on samassa tilassa kuin sänky, välissä vain kääntyvä näköeste. Hotellin lähellä on ilmastotukikohta, hävittäjien äänet tekivät unestamme katkonaista. Kannattaa varautua korvatulpin!

Très beau design de l'hôtel en général
Chambre (105) avec une belle vue (mais je pense que c'est mieux pour les 102-103-104).
Équipement très complet, on apprécie la piscine individuelle.
Très bonne literie
Spa agréable (jacuzzi et piscine intérieure).
On n'a hélas pas pu profiter des massages faute de temps.
Très bon petit déjeuner
Avons passé un excellent moment avec des amis.

Mon séjour a été tout simplement exceptionnel. L'hôtel est niché dans un cadre magnifique, offrant une vue imprenable sur la mer et Chania. La tranquillité qui y règne est un véritable atout, permettant une déconnexion totale et un repos bien mérité.
Les chambres sont spacieuses, élégamment décorées et dotées de tout le confort moderne.
Le balcon privé avec piscine offrait un espace supplémentaire pour admirer le paysage.
Le personnel de l'hôtel est d'une gentillesse et d'un professionnalisme remarquables. Toujours souriant et attentif, chaque membre de l'équipe s'est montré désireux de rendre mon séjour le plus agréable possible.
Les installations de l'hôtel sont également un point fort avec l’espace bien-être.
Le petit-déjeuner était un délice, avec un large choix de produits frais et locaux.

Totally disappointing – not five-star quality!

This hotel is a perfect example of style over substance — a modern look doesn’t make up for serious flaws and unprofessional service. The bathroom design is absurd: after a basic shower, water flooded half the room, and the toilet is separated only by a glass wall, which offers no privacy whatsoever. No intimacy, no comfort. At night, street noise made it impossible to sleep due to extremely thin walls. Calling reception resulted only in an offer of earplugs. I was promised a follow-up from the manager — no one ever called back.

The next day, the manager showed up in person and made the situation even worse — arrogant, constantly interrupting, and unwilling to offer any real solution.

On top of that, there were stained, dirty pillows on the bed (I have photos), and the hairdryer provided was a cheap, foldable travel model, completely unfit for a hotel claiming luxury status.

This stay left a lasting sense of disappointment. I strongly advise against choosing this place if you value peace and professional treatment as a guest.

Chambre ambassador spacieuse et très propre. Service impeccable et petit déjeuner extraordinaire.
Petits points d’attention:
Garage parfois plein, donc risque de devoir se garer dans la rue: sécurisé mais place en parking « sauvage » devant l’hôtel.
L’insonorisation n’est pas parfaite: vous êtes en ville.
Petite piscine non chauffée, mais dés que le soleil tape, elle doit être agréable
